The dictionary here is pretty much the 1998 US Scrabble dictionary, so there's been no updates for about 20 years and also is US centric
They expanded the dictionary somewhat in the last 6 years or so
This dictionary appears to accept a lot more unknown foreign words than the Scrabble dictionary i remember...
Well a dictionary in a sense is arbitrary, what I like in this one is that is aligned to the scrabble dictionary...many of the other word games have created their own unique ones, which makes it hard

well, i have been doing my student teaching for the last twelve weeks and everything was going great, and then today my second half host teacher submitted her evaluation and it would mean i do not pass. and i don't know if she MEANT to not pass me, or just didn't read all the info about the scores and doesn't realize she's given me a non-passing review

i THINK that she just misunderstood the nature of the rubric numbers. she gave me a whole bunch of "learning" - which to her may just seem like, of course she's "learning", she's just starting out. she only gets to do this one evaluation, so she hasn't done one before
Do you have any other recourse . Here in the states we have a mid term evaluation and a conference with the student teacher. They know pretty well where they stand and how to catch up if need be or if they are already failing.
I should say in Ohio....I can't speak for all of our states and their practices.
