Thanks

4:03 am

The \n doesn't have to to with links. It is a coding error that happens after twenty something characters without using a space.

4:03 am

I still have the much-maligned Kaspersky, have had it since like '98 or so. I may be a spy and not know it, but I certainly have no virus problems.

4:03 am

It happens if someone posts a long string of letters like ARGH with a long string of H's and !!'s.

4:05 am

ahhhhh, I get it. That's still maybe not an error, just a way to not let people post links? they are usually so long. Thus the short-link site? (what is it, Tiny Links? I forget, long time since I used it)

4:13 am

Does anyboy remember po5, the sidewalk game with chalk, or are you all too Young?

4:15 am

I know a few sidewalk chalk games, but that name doesn't ring a bell.

4:15 am

or should I say, that two-letter hint doesn't ring a bell, haha.

4:15 am

And stoop ball?

4:18 am

The only po5 I know is Richie Cunningham's friend. Ruby is talking about old New York street games.

4:21 am

yes, I suspected one would need a stoop for stoop ball.

4:21 am

that's sort of a city term, in my mind, at least

4:21 am

Yes, from a very old New Yorker!

4:23 am

how does one play po5?

4:23 am

l think it's like hopscotch, or is that also a NY street game?

4:24 am

that one I know. :)

4:24 am

l think l spent much of my early lifesitting on the stoop

4:27 am

kind of like sitting on the front porch where I grew up. Did a lot of that.

4:27 am

Exactly!

4:27 am

No porches in the old neighborhood

4:28 am

My guess is that calling hopscotch po5 derived from some little kid who couldn't pronounce hopscotch, and it stuck.

4:28 am

watch the world go by... :)

4:29 am

Molly is probably right, but l see "watching the world go by" with a :(

4:31 am

I insisted for years that I needed a porch to sit on, finally got it built about four years back, after living in this house for 20+ years at that time.

4:31 am

seeing the world go by is sad for you?

4:31 am

French people don't have porches or rocking chairs

4:32 am

Adolescence wasn't my favorite time

4:32 am

Life didn't get great 'til l hit 40!

4:32 am

:)

4:35 am

40,to 47, the best years!!! And when Molly ghost-writees my story, everybody can share

4:44 am

I think adolescence is a tough time for a lot of people.

4:46 am

5:56 am

Hi Car! I just got here.

5:57 am

Hey you! I hear you are looking for me...LOL

5:57 am

I dropped FB...sore spot with the hubby and it just isn't worth the drama

5:57 am

Yes, you disappeared from FB.

5:58 am

It's been a rough couple of weeks. #1 son has been in and out of adolescent psych care

5:59 am

Oh, no. Please email me.

5:59 am

poor things inherited anxiety from hubby's side and depression from my side...and he's a 14YO boy. He's a mess

5:59 am

I will

6:04 am

Sorry...as just getting #2 son on the bus. How are you?

6:05 am

I fear that SAD is kicking in for me. I need the sun.

6:06 am

We have been so fortunate to have such an amazing stretch of weather here

6:06 am

You have a light?

6:06 am

Yes, and I realized yesterday that I must start using it.

6:07 am

OK, good.

6:07 am

Hopefully, even though the days will be shorter, the winter will be full of sunshiny days.

6:07 am

I don't mind the cold. I need sunlight.

6:08 am

Yes!

6:09 am

Well, I did freeze yesterday as the doc at the football game from 5-7. I still have 3 layers on.

6:10 am

Oh dear!

6:10 am

Does an electric blanket help that at all?

6:11 am

There were no injuries and that was the last game of the season. I should have taken a hot bath when I got home but I went to bed.

6:12 am

Well, that's good news!

6:12 am

I think my electric blanket got chewed by a former rabbit and I tossed it..the blanket, not the rabbit.

6:12 am

No doubt in my mind there! LOL

6:13 am

How are all the "kids"?

6:15 am

Jaxson has had a tough transition to K--some hitting--but he loves school. Ryder continues in preschool and is smart enough to start K at age 33 months now.

6:16 am

6:17 am

Do you have the 2nd row E?

12:10 pm

hi..

12:11 pm

back in college we had a dance/theater performance, and one of my friends did a modern dance routine called "slithy tove" inspired by the poem

12:11 pm

it's made up of two ordinary words...

12:11 pm

that must have been interesting to watch eva?

12:12 pm

it was pretty cool. she was very flexible + could move in rather inhuman ways, heh

12:12 pm

you mean acro type dance?

12:13 pm

made it to 100 words:)

12:13 pm

this particular routine didnt have any acrobatics, but almost more....contortion, sort of

Clues for the he 7's?

5:31 pm

One is plural of he6 meaning the number seven or a group of seven.

5:34 pm

The second one has the same first 3 letters, and the second part is a feline. It's an old-timey word. Plural for the 7.

5:35 pm

Another word for hipster (I just found it).

5:36 pm

PMS, if you're still looking, it's something you do to leftover food.

5:36 pm

yes it is!

5:40 pm

Thank you Gillie, I got it the exact time that your answer came thru. Can go to bed now.

i have a question for windows 10 users.

5:58 pm

I am no expert but will try my best to help, T Owl.

ty zooz

when i ouse over my window, it enlarges or shrinks. drives me nuts.

i guess you have guessed it meant "mouse"

6:03 pm

That happens to me sometimes too. The resize tool is in the upper right corner of the browser. You should be able to click on it and go to "reset" or "restore".

6:04 pm

Nice one, Champfit!

6:04 pm

I'm running Chrome, and on mine you can click on the 3 dots that run vertically on the end...it'll open a window that has "zoom" as one of the choices.

6:05 pm

The things we learn because we screw up! :)

6:05 pm

lol

what does this button look like?

6:19 pm

LIke a magnifying glass. Small. On my browser it's next to the bookmark star.

6:19 pm

If you're not at 100% it should be there. Click it and hit reset

6:20 pm

OR...look for 3 vertical dots outside the browser border and next too the bookmark star...to the right of it. That'll have the Zoom setting.

i see. must go make dinner but watching kevin belton make bread pudding

do not see a mag glass, that is why i am stumped. and frustrated

see a % at the end of the url window, but i am NOT hitting that

6:23 pm

No...past that, past the bookmark star, there might be 3 dots, stacked.

ah, he is making hard sauce. yum.

no dots. firefox here.

there are icons none of which pertain to size

6:24 pm

POO. Have you tried going out of the application and coming back in? You probably just accidentally hit something that'll reset .

thank you. i am going to cook now.

6:25 pm

Sorry!

6:27 pm

does the last da 4 end in a vowel or a cons?

6:27 pm

vowel

6:28 pm

hi zooz ty finally found it

6:30 pm

I use firefox, T Owl Not sure how to help but if you click on the three lines near the top right hand corner a drop down menu pops up. Near the top of the drop down menu there is a - 100 % + signs so you can change it to any size that suits you.

6:31 pm

Other than that if it is still changing size whislt using your mouse maybe it would be best to go to your mouse settings instead and see if you can use the default to reset the mouse.

6:31 pm

Same as Chrome, just lines instead of dots. How 'bout that?

6:31 pm

hello all -- got a little over half way earlier, so 108 to go

6:32 pm

congrats cyber .. 113 left to go here

6:32 pm

To do that you would neeed to you need to click on the windows button click on settings and goto the mouse settings from there.

6:32 pm

Good luck to you! Trying to finish my last 14.

6:34 pm
