good morning all
ts4/8 ursh just found it
plural sound word, no vowels, ursh
good morning Sprite
*hugs flosey* good evening, dear lady. How are you today?
good thanks Sprite, had a quiet day
is the family still with you?
no Sprite, they left Tuesday
they're home now and back to work!!
ah, then a quiet day is nice, I bet. Getting back into your normal day groove.
yes, play bridge with the ladies tomorrow afternoon, but otherwise probably a quiet weekend
ty got the ts
yvw ursh
sounds good, flosey. Rob and I are going on a canoe trip, will be back tomorrow evening.
now that sounds peaceful, restful - and a lovely day together
indeed :) We are going to a small island in the IJsselmeer, which is the big lake in the middle of the Netherlands. We will probably have it all to ourselves. Just Rob, me, and little Terra, water and a tipi tent and peace and quiet. And rabbits. Lots of rabbits.
sweet little critters - but not good to have around the farm!! Is Terra a person or a pet?
Terra is our dog. A little King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.
ah, nice to have your pet along - I presume he enjoys the canoe?
he loves canoeing and camping out. He gets positively nervous when we start collecting our gear... afraid he won't be allowed to come along.
oh, and too cute... when we drive home and we enter our neighbourhood, he always wakes up and sits up in the car. And the funny thing is, he does the same thing when we get near that island! I guess he feels it is like a home to him too. He can run around without a leash there, there is nowhere to go so it is safe.
ah, how nice for him to have such freedom
we had a lovely golden, a rescue, tried a different breek with dreadful results, found her a good home and gave up - one day!!
different breed
goldens are so sw5 too. Sorry it didn't work out with the other breed, but great that you found her another home.
first night we had her, hubby had her on a long leash, she broke away and ran - to our neighbours sheep!!! NOT WELCOME ON THIS ISLAND!!
we decided on this breed after extensive consultation with babblers :) Especially Atalante and Haz. We're still very grateful for their perfect advice, a cavalier is the perfect dog for us.
ouch! Oh that is horrible.
we were able to find her another good home
one with no sheep nearby :)
sheep, lambs, big business here
not good for your relations with the neighbours if your dog eats their business :(
relationships*
for certain!! but they were very pleasant about the situation - and knowing we'd find her a good home - so just taking a break for a while
can't imagine our home without a dog anymore. I hope Terra will live to a very advanced age.
well Sprite, I think I'll call it a night - ready for sleep - be back in the morning for remaining 65 words
have a lovely day
sleep well, flosey, and lovely dreams *hug*
ty ty
fireflies. Another easy grid today.
*leaves a big hug for rose to find* Bye all, have a blessed day and a peaceful night.
I made it through, too, yay! Nite, all! :)
F
FW night all. Blessings.
Congrats, Gapeach!!
back again, don't know what woke me!!
((Flosey)) You do have trouble sleeping.
not normally Zooz, but lately it seems
Well I hope it is just a short phase then and you will be back to your normal pattern :-)
very frustrating
ty, hope so
Okay I have 44 left for later. Happy babbling everyone!
Hope you get some sleep soon ((Flosey))
*poof*
well done Zooz, and thanks for your concern
down to 9, all S words but will have to come back tomorrow to find them, good night again !!
It is interesting that our "sleeping time" often defines the difference between "today" and "tomorrow" instead of the actual time. : )
Hi Molly - yes, I find it very frustrating to be wakened during the night time hours - glad of babble, always someone awake
Its nice to have something to focus your mind on when it seems too busy to shut down and sleep.
for sure - am always glad I hadn't completed the grid when I find myself awake during 'night time' hours
Instead of counting sheep, we are counting little yellow boxes : D
7 to go and think I'm ready to go back to sleep, good night Molly and any others here
Good morning
l think l'm on different hours from everybody else
Hello everyone...happy Friday
Hello Car., happy Friday to you. When does the time change there; l know it's not the same as here.

Iss it cold yet?
Just checked....November 5th
It's been beautiful here, cool at night, perfect in the afternoons
It was a week or so back, but then we had a lovely stretch for about 10 days. We had some rain the past two days and now it is cool again.
Perfect!
Thanks for that; l knew it was soon
It's October 27 and no frost. No frost in the next 10 days
Warm enough to sunbathe, Bichon?

We are heading to Maine next weekend....maybe some frost then?

hints for the C, the K, or the solo-T?
the solo t is a sound you make
The C - Ce4/6 - (think abbreviation for LA state). The K - Ko4/8 (ends in double cons). Solo T - Ts 4/8 - sound of disaporoval. And Hi all :-)
TY shirlock
First bright sunshiny day here for weeks. I finally got to do the final 'last cut of the year' on my lawns. Nearly killed me!
TY soodle!
I mostly lurk these days, but delighted to see that Baby K us almost reared now, Eva!!
'is'...
almost reared? hah
Lol! My lot are 27, 25 & 22. Still high maintenance, by times!
poor little guy has Hand, Foot + Mouth right now. :(
The 2 girls, 25 & 22 are in Oslo Norway this weekend. But my son is coming home from the UK with 16 friends tomorrow. Not staying Chez Soodle, but I'm hosting a dinner party for them tomorrow.
Oh no, Eva. What's the treatment for that? Antibiotics?
no treatment, actually. let it run its course. treat the symptoms, like a fever, if there are any. poor kiddo is covered in spots + kinda miserable...not sleeping very well. :/ teething on top of it...
That's tough on everyone, Eva. I wish him a speedy recovery .
thx
on the plus-side, in all the wailing, i found out hes got THREE teeth i didnt know about! LOL
Hello?

Both are plurals, Fan...
Hello fan
And Hi :-)
You are giving a dinner for how many?????
ty soodle
my son is arriving on Mon or Tues and if he wants a hot meal, he'll have to cook it!
ruby - Hand, Foot + Mouth. thankfully not the pox!
l never heard of that. My son had chickenpox at 7 months
HFMD is a very contagious virus, but thankfully not all that serious. poor kids just LOOK god-awful!
We'll go out for lunch
Oh Jaysus, Rubes - 17!!!! I'm in a tizzy. I have 5 lasagness cooking - one is a vegetarian option! Starter is Dublin Bay prawns in a Marie Rose sauce, corn on the cob for the veggies. Dessert is home-made Baileys cheesecake. Also got a big pot of Irish Stew in the crockpot for non lasagne eaters. I'm wrecked!
You are amazing!!!
John will be Lucky if l make him French toast! l've given up on the Mother of the Year award
I repeat! I am wrecked! I also have 25 bottles of wine on standby - my philosophy being - get them absolutely SCUTTERED & then if they get sick, we can blame the noise!
Hahah
5 lasagnas + 25 bottles of wine??? im on my way, Soodle!
Booze - not noise. Damn autocorrect!
Funny correction
I'm wrecked AND Broke. (Banking on guests bringing a bottle of two - replenish my wine cellar!).
Dinner here @ 18.00 hours. Minibus taxi booked for 21.00 hrs. Depending on the success of the meal, I may or may not join them in the pub!
Paul is very lucky!
Scratch that!!!! Of course I'm going to join them in the pub!!!! Lol
How are you, Rubes?
any clues for the ES's? any of them.. I'm drawing a blank on ES words.
ES5-6 combo sounds like a fancy tie (and plural)
Not looking forwaard to Nov, but otherwise good, even using the stationary bike
Me too hon. I hate Novembrr.
What are the girls doing in Norway?
Living it up, Rubes!! They follow a singer called Dua Lipa who is playing a concert there, so they built a weekend away around her concert on Sunday. Also - they both fancy blond blue-eyed lads, so Norway is ideal!
Nice
CNN is on and Tillerson is in Geneva; l hope he stops by. For him, l'd cook!
Rubes - the kitchen is calling (yelling at) me. I owe you an email. When this lunacy abates, I'll be in touch. X
Have fun and stay sane!
