And after another trial (trying to find *where anything* about formatting is (dang Users Manual on new harddrive says it's at the bottom of the page in Utilities at the bottom of the new drive; -and of course there isn't anything at the top, bottom of sides of any drive, I give up & will work on Babble.

I don't know anything about I dpads... but if you click my profile, I have a link for Babble Expert in there - it combines the regular grid and chog ferom the PlayBabble site with Lickety... then you can freely send words to Lickety from Babble and vice versa. Sanity saver - to say nothing of time!

Kate & MaMaWa, Babble Expert doesn't work on Macs; and when I talked to Babble OverLord about it once (years ago) he had no plans to ever set it up for Apple products.
That's a shame Nef.. I think he would have had to rewrite everything for a Mac. Still not a lot of folks use it, though I hear they are great once you gey the hang of is. I remember Wolvie worked on a MAc

Its no big deal . I dont like to list anyway but when I catch random clues or I wnat to ask for a clue its handy to have. No worries here.
Okay Mama, it's nice to have.. and you can always "drag the bar" across to hide the list. I do that a lot.
I don't have an iPad; so I don't know. I have a MiniMac computer and an iPhone; I can copy on my computer but not my iPhone ('m definitely not a computer or phone expert, as you can tell by my problems with my back up hard drive).
I see many familiar “faces†even after a time away. Its kinda comforting

I took my break from Babble a couple of years ago; I was pretty much addicted to finishing every grid I started; but now I don't care anymore.

I play a lot of Words with Friends, and Scrabble as well.
Same here MamaWa. I play WWF on my phone; scrabble on a (old-fashioned ) board on a table, and Babble on my computer. I don't waste my *whole* day that way; just chunks of it here & there! :-)
I still try to finish. :/

My Grandma was 100 on June 29 and I want to live like her.
:) Wow...a nice ripe old age and still going - good on her!

Yes we used to love to to play Scrabble . On the table old fashion way . She is one of my best friends.
I had ovarian cancer
(You don't have to answer that if you don't want to; I usually hear something like that from someone facing a life-threatening illness, that's all)
But Iam cancer free now and have 2 new Knees and ...... once I hit 50 the sh** hit the fan !!!

for me it was 59 when I started falling apart. :-)
Well I am 58 now and hoping this health crisis period is behind me
