I also love Seuss - still give kids graduating Places You'll Go as graduation presents - but have loved reaading it to kids, grandkids, school classes - it is such a wonderful use of words
My youngest sons' first book to read by himself was Green Eggs and Ham
I still use Alexander an the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day... even for my house staff... because some days are like that
