1/2 way night all
nite, peri, well done
too tired tonight, bb tomorrow
oh nice, a big one. Good morning all.
hi, sprite - yep, a good sized one this time. seems sort of friendly, except for that mean K.
*hugs rbud* Ks are always bad business. Still, it could be worse, lol. Just one word to find.
it's a doozy of a word. hints here already, I'd never have gotten it otherwise.
Hi sprite, rbud and flosey! And peri if still here...looks like peri said g'night
*hugs Kam* Hello dear one, how are you doing? And how is your beloved today? No shocking wakeup actions this time?
hi, Kam. think flosey wandered off, too, but who knows, she may return. :D
K killed
He slept until about 10AM! He seems to have had a great day. He ran off to the store first thing - our fridge isn't working, have to replace, so he went to get ice...and picked out a lot of food that keeps well, yay hubby!
wow, good job on him, and a good sign he feels up to it. And how are you, honey?
Living out of ice chests on the porch isn't much fun, but we do have a good freezer to keep ice rotated
::sigh:: I'm tired. Something has broken here every week almost all summer! I'm so lucky M can fix stuff, but not fridges. He did get the water heater back to where the pilot stays lit
he is doing a great job. But it is draining, that kind of stuff. *heaps of energy for Kam* and a good, old-fashioned sprite hug.
So, we have hot water, the dishwasher works, he made my mickey-mouse fix of the washer permanent, so the washer is good...I have no complaints!
Thanks, Sprite! Hugs are always appreciated!
sometimes they are all that keep me going, lol. Couldn't function without lots of hugs.
roooooosieeeeee cooooooeeeee!

I think I could have been over confident about the friendliness of this grid, lol, getting to the wall around 270 - but that's without lickety.
am about at the same point, also slowing down considerably at 262. Hoping for a second wind though :)

And the ke word belongs 9n some sort of list....to never be forgotten...I hunted for about 45 minutes just for that...I wan5 you all to have that clue, as inoculation against the "frustration with not finding word" disease.....haha...
Two of my favorite g words are in this grid: gl4 and go4....both describe a lot of my cooking.....lol!

FW finally.
congrats - pretty awful grid
Aw, a big grid.
Good morning all
and a lot of new words
Hi Liz. How is Thursday going?
Hi Scrabs and Liz
It's started well thanks.
Hi Lyn - hope your day has also started well. Been meaning to ask - how's Patch settled in?
Its certainly not as cold as yesterdays morning. Patch is becoming quieter ie not screaming around the back yard 6 times , only a couple of times or just around the house! Love him though, very affectionate dog. Trying out a month of obedience training shortly
A new puppy, lynxxx?
It seems a bit warmer here too - probably much warmer than where you are. We've actually had frost in this area on several mornings - something I've never seen in the 10 years I've lived here. Glad Patch is calming and that you love him. Hope the obedience training pays off.
a 4 yo ex-racer Scrabs, so been in kennels most of his life except this year
Poor boy. Well, now he has been rescued. Is a racer what we call a greyhound?
Those Southerlies keep coming up
Yes a greyhound
There are greyhound rescues all over here.
However he loves loves running just a pity there is nowhere close I can let him off lead
That's a shame. Are there no dog beaches near you?
No dog parks?
We can't let greyhounds off lead anywhere in Australia except on private property...it would actually be quite unsafe to do so even if you could. No recall and they injure themselves quite easily
Phew! G's finally finished - with the help of morewords.
Poor dogs. I wish dog racing would be banned.
I had no idea about that, Lyn. I understand but how sad.
Lovely lovely dogs though - great companions, I wouldn't have any other sort now I think. It is interesting to see them running together (socially) - fun but they do have a natural aggression streak that comes out - which is why they were used for hunting originally - and why they are muzzled when they race!
I saw them race once - many years ago in London. Didn't like it. Much prefer to see them as loved pets.
Would like to see the races live but am concerned that I would see one injured. I was in the carpark at a course a month ago, the dogs arriving were beside themselves with excitment. Patch is the same when he knows we are going to see a bunch of dogs
I can understand that they love running but it just bothered me - much the same as I don't like horse racing. I'd much rather see them running in the wild.
I also share the same concern about the animals injuring htemselves/
Fireworks! Last words ti 7/8
Congrats !
Thanks - have a good day / evening everyone.
bye - enjoy your day
Congrats Liz!
I have done enough and must get ready for bed. Bye Lynxxx
sweet dreams Scrabs
Can someone give me some advice how to add my list of words to the Bulk Add on Lickety's Babble Clues? I copy and paste and either the list disappears, without adding the words, or I get a message telling me I'm trying to add too many words and that's not allowed. Any advice?
Paste it in from Clipboard - after using your mouse to drag over all your Babble entered words - then Right Click on the selection and choose Copy. You can leave length points values - it takes the first word. Also - don't worry if paste from Firefox adds 'Look Up Word' or tabs - this handles that. If you use Internet Explorer - use the Paste from Clipboard button, otherwise Firefox :Use 'Ctrl V' to paste after clicking in the box.
I forgot to add to click on Add Bulk.
Ya, I should have added to my original post, I've read the directions and I follow them, at least I think I do and still, doesn't work for me. Clearly there is some fundamental step I am not understanding. I could've sworn it was just a simple copy and paste, but that doesn't work. I've literally dragged the list over, click Add Bulk, and nothing.
The only way I've ever added words is to individually add them, or copy and paste the list, then take the time to delete the numbers and spaces, which gets tedious. You'd think by now I'd have figured this out, computers are not exactly my strong point.
Thank you though, Smdnjv.
Try highlighting just a few. Copy, click in the bulk add box and paste. Click Add Bulk
boatierra, do you not have Babble Expert?
The doing a few at a time seems to be working. And yes, I do have the link, just haven't thought to use it in a long time.
