Hi Sprite! How are you doing? Healing quickly, I hope!
*hugs Kam* Hello dear one, good to see you. I hope so too, lol... yesterday was kinda brutal. Nail training while hurting all over and being dizzy. This morning, things seem a little less nasty though. How are you and your beloved doing today?
He got a *lot* of yard work done, and I'm feeling more human, so we had a good day! I'm sorry you're still so sore.
sounds good, Kam, progress!
Yes! Onward!
rose is enjoyed a well-deserved outing with Don now
That's great! It's spring there, so it should be a lovely day for an outing. We're actually supposed to get a drizzle of rain tomorrow - will believe it when I see it. We need rain!
she will be away for a couple of days, I hope she has the most perfect weather!
brb, I should eat something
I hope so too. She works so hard with the church stuff and life in general, she deserves time away from it all.
she sure does. One of the best people in the world, our rose.
woot, quite a lot of 'above' words
Fun grid
very much so. Am flying through so far
I have to go for now. *hugs Kam* Sleep well, dear one, and take care. To all, a blessed day and a peaceful night. And a hug for rose, wherever she is :D
Hugs back - just finished and had my nose buried in the grid, so you're prob gone already. Hope you have a great day!
Okay quick first run through and I have 76 words to find. Got some 8s one 9 and a 10 lettered word so far. Will go take my bath then will come back later to see if I can find any more words. Happy babbling everyone!

re10 - describes a 'light-bulb' moment word. It ends in the English nickname for a Conservative.
Build on the preceding re5/16.
Oh thanks Haz....appreciated!
You're welcome.
Hows life in the Emerald Isle today Haz....we have sunshine and wind
It's quite nice, no rain so far, and it's still reasonably bright.
I do miss the long summer evenings, though.
hi, folks
Hello, welki.
Hi welki....
Haz can you clue the other re8/9 combo please...am struggling today...
re8 and 9 - do up your house
More than just a lick of paint, a bit of a dramatic change.
The re9 is the one who makes the changes.
Got it thanks!
Great - well done!
Back for a few more words...
Good morning, all. Good God. The world has gone mad at our little police dept. Every call, every walk-in... Nutso!
Something in the water, Judi? =)
We are seriously wondering. And it's past the full moon phase.

That always helps!
sure does:D
Haz, My wife's family is from Ballymena! Do you live in town?
Sorry, godthaab. Was texting my daughter. Yes, I live in town.
Small world! When did they leave?
Or wait, maybe they still live here?
They are still there. He cousin runs the big shoe store in town. Its name escapes me at the moment, but it is a good Irish name.
McKillens
Yes!
We met some wonderful people who helped us find out where her great grandmother lived, as well as finding out about relatives she did not even know. He even directed us to grave sites.
It's certainly the biggest shoe shop, that's why I knew it straightaway.
I bought a pair shoes there, and they lasted for years!
It's fascinating to do family history, though very time consuming.
Yes, they sell good shoes. Not Barker's by any chance?
Oh yes!
They are good, though expensive, shoes but they will last.
I don't remember the name.
Still, I'm glad they sold you good shoes. When were you over here?
Maybe 8, 9 years ago.
And remind me where you're from?
Toronto, Canada
Okay, I couldn't remember if it was Canada or Australia.
We travelled through most of Ireland. We just missed the southeast part of Ireland. What a gorgeous country. We are definitely going back.
We always find that visitors from the States/Canada/Australia are fascinated with the countryside and also the age of some of the buildings.
Much to my wife's chagrin, I had to stop at every castle.
There are castles everywhere...
Canada only has two castles
My 'home' castle is Carrickfergus, a Norman castle.
I know that castle! We stopped there. A great Castle!
It is!
We took the ocean road from belfast all the way over to Londonderry, with a few side trips. Amazing!
It is special, you're right.
There's a show on Netflix, The Fall. It's set in Belfast
Oh, I don't have a TV.
I haven't watched it either, bichon, it's pretty dark in subject matter.
very, but acting is great
The other famous show that's filmed over here is Game of Thrones - again, I haven't watched it but loads of people come to see the locations.
Neat! It has been nice talking to you - I have to get back to work. Talk to you later.
Have a good day, so interesting to know you've been to Ballymena!
Small world.
What a bunch of nonsense the ov words are!
Are you overwrought? Overcome?
LOL!
Some are a bit of a stretch but I can go along with the first ov7. I've done it.

Sorry bout typos, on tablet
sounds lovely, crossy
It is. The hot tubis up to temperature, and the champers ischilled
yay!
hello everyone. :-)
hi crossy. diane!!!
sounds wonderful, crossy......and probably with the autumn leaves wafting down all around!
Celebtating our 25th. :-) howdy seain, diane :-)
Mother nature isputting on a great display. :-)
:-) .....crossy, welki, dcseain
oh, right. you're far enough North trees are changing already, yes?
Happy Anniversary
Howdy, welki :-)
Yes, Seain. The sugarmaples are in full autumn blaze of colour
We often get a nice, long leisurely fall, but this year.......it came crashing upon us. We had a couple of nights of frost and they turned colour almost overnight. Then we had wind and now the leaves are all in clear bags to go to the compost.
our leaves will all be down tomorrow - had a huge dump of snow last night
where i am, they won't start changing until late this month. last many years, we've had to mow grass in December and January
Now we'll probably get a month of nice temperatures ( hopefully) but it will look SO drab and dismal. We have had snow twice, but nothing this time, welki.
Chose this lodge because it is pet friendly--our new lab pup is snoring away beside me
help with any re8 pls

I learned the ar 4/7 by chatting to Australian friends online. :-) We continue to learn every day and wherever we go!

Sorry I have it. Was trying to see which 7 you were missing :-)
Good afternoon. May I please have a clue for ov8-55 the 2nd? Thanks
*Loves the phrase "boisterous festivities* : D
Hello, Gapeach. It ends in keeping thing tidy.
Oh sorry that is the third one.
Second one ends in opposite of far.
Hi there, zooz. Thanks so much. How are your parents?
Mother is still the same, Gapeach. She is off to the doctor AGAIN tomorrow. Dad is still plodding along but frail. Hope you are keeping well?
treed
Molly, my next door neighbor has boisterous activities nearly every weekend :-(
treen
You all are still in my prayers, zooz. Sometimes we just don't understand why things happen the way they do.....so if we turn them over to the higher power it takes some of the worry from us.
Yes it is hard to watch parents suffer when there is nothing you can do about it apart from try and encourage them to get more help. But when they do try and get help the help does not seem to come. Very frustrating but we keep going :-)
i don't mind seeing my parents suffer actually .. doesn't bother me a bit
Thankfully my parents are not like your parents, Ruru.
most aren't
:D
Sorry you had bad parents though.
Also glad you did not turn out like them too!
that's the breaks
If people had to pass a test, a lot of them would not be able to become parents
no.. I made it my mission to not be anything like them.. or at least as much as I possibly could
my parents would have never passed any testing
People have to prove their worthiness in order to adopt animals, but not to procreate
I guess the best for you would be to do your best to try to remain calm....not an easy task but ultimately you are the one that will take care of them and yourself. I will ask for that in my prayers.....just try and calm yourself whenever you get a chance.
Be back in a few minutes.
((Gapeach)) I do. Hence why I am here iin babbleland! Plus I listen to a lot of music to keep me calm.
Well form what I have seen here, Ruru, You seem to be a nice person with a great sense of humour!
From*
what do your Boisterous Neighbors do Zooz?
actually I'm an asshole with a warped sense of humor
:D
LOL
They stand outside smoking and seem to be hard of hearing as they shout really loud. Then they drink to excess and play music a tad loud. They then go out (thank goodness) but return around 4am and bang about again.
banging at 4 am.. gotta hand it to them :D
I knew that was the wrong choice of words to use once I typed it lol
LOL
me being considerate.. I would bang at an earlier time
They are around 19- 20ish so I can sort of understand where they are coming from. Been there and done it. Just do not like it happening on my doorstep.
I had to clean up sick off of my driveway last weekend as one of the ladies they were entertaining threw up on it.
yuck..disgusting.. have you brought it up with them?
No I do not like confrontation as it brings on my panic attacks.
oh..
you want me to come over and have a come to Jesus moment with them for you Zooz?
Yeah I know...I sound like a right bag of wind.
LOL thanks! I think a baseball bat my get through to them!
tell them you want to show them your Robert De Niro impersonation of the Enforcers and have a bat handy
I used to act like that when I was younger but I did it at a nightclub. Would not dream of acting like that with my neighbors.
LOL they would probably just snatch it out of my hand and whack me with it.
my neighbors are pretty innocuous .. I have no neighbors behind me so that helps
Are you not moving again?
perhaps the local cops could just happen to drive by when they are in full flight (without naming names)
morning all
Morning, Lynxxx :-)
in a few years zooz.. not quite yet.. I will need to be closer to retiring before I move to Canada
Ha! the police here would not come out for a burblary let a lone a neighbour noise complaint.
so you have a super or a apt manager who can talk to them about their habits and noise
Burglary*
These are street houses not apt blocks. No there was a neighbourhood watch but that stopped years ago.
Really? I thought in a smaller place they would be good. Do they bother any other neighbours - maybe a few of you could get the police to give them a warning
One of my other neighbours works nights. And none of the others seem to have noticed or do not seem to care.
hello again -- 10 left for this monster
I used to have neighbors who had wild parties almost every weekend. The last one they had resulted in a young man standing in front of his new truck hoping to protect it from the drunk driver running off the road straight for it. The young man was hit and lost a leg. They never had another drunken party for as long as they lived there.
I dislike inconsiderate people
Wow that is one way for the parties to stop, Funhs!
hi ru --- are you getting any of the rain that has hit us?
you could say that person went out on a limb for the party
yes.. it rained here today nan
LOL
at least the damage didn't cost the owner an arm and a leg :D
I hope the drunk driver got stopped and arrested also.
yay -- are the fires out or under control now?
yes.. I think they're pretty much done right now
I gave you a clue earlier, Nan but you had already left.
i thought I'd get a groan for the last pun
Yuo got 30 or them how many more do you want!
