if david beckham married posh sp5, and if other men married other sp5 girls, does that make them sp5men?
definitely
you know, that's a marriage i would've expected to have ended by now. good on them!
:D
cooee and g'day from me in Marysville. very quiet country township which was wiped out totally a few years back in a monstrous bushfire. have been doing some sightseeing and walking. now taking it quietly. we go home tomorrow. mwahhh. {{{{{sprite}}}}} {{{hurshy}}}
for some reason, I always try 'snew'. As pa4 tense of to snow. I know. So stupid.
oh oh oh roseeeeeeeee! Never thought I'd see you before you would be back home, honey. What a treat. Are you having a grand ole time?
i try it too cause of the joke - fozzy bear on the muppets - "hey have you met my snewman?" "what's a snewman?" "i dunno, what's a snew with you?"
english is stupid indeed, and snew ought to be a a word!
lol hursh
it's been lovely sprite.
english is a fascinating language. Even exceptions have their exceptions and there is no way in hell you will know pronunciation from the written text.
ah, am so glad, rose, you really needed that. Is himself behaving himself? :D
there is a great video on it, give me a sec to bitly it
I learned so so so much from babble. Chat, mostly, though my vocabulary has grown exponentially too, though mainly with obscure words.
super useful, lol
obscure... you mean you don't use 4-letter words to talk about volcanoes with geese and ducks all the time?
lol, yes sprite. we have a great room. the sun shines in on us every morning. but.... he is still learning to live with someone with a disability. he forgot to ask for a room with facilities for someone like me. ie a stool or chair in the shower. at least the shower is a walk-in... no straddling the edge of the bath this time,
well, okay, that I do. I was thinking of hairy-nosed dolphins saying vowelless words while talking about currencies.
ah, poor man, at least he is trying :) You should help him, honey. Make a list of things he needs to check on when he wants to book you a surprise.

found it on youtube, gonna watch it now
lol, interesting!
went to youtube to find it too, quite a good synopsis
indeed!
not sure if you already know, dfmc, there is a babble dictionary in my profile, as well as a list of babble idiom including many babblets
oh that's a great list!
it is fun :D
*sheepishly admits to having severe case of babble blindness, last 2 words yesterday's grid were "iron" and "over"*
that is kinda normal for me, lol. Most days, I finally get my last word and then have to hit myself over the head with a smelly fish.
there ought to be a word for when you misspell a word and it turns out to be another word, too
make up a good one and I will add it to our list!
surpreebee - freebee you get through misspelling a word How about that?
hehe sounds good
:D okay, in it goes. Let's use it often and make it into babble idiom.

Mother is going to the doctors again today. Hope they can get something sorted.
dfmc, it might help to know it is a botanical/zoological word and it is an alternative spelling...

fireflies. *hits self over the head with smelly fish* Final word: common se5. Right.
dfmc, it was a pleasure chatting with you. Have a terrific day. To y'all: a blessed day and a peaceful night. *leaves extra hug in chog for rose to find*

mo8...first four of what you pay for things with + last four of guy who waves a wand and says Abra-Cadabra
ty molly....
Just curious, that was a repeat clue. When people are looking for clues, do they not look at previous chat? I have often wondered about that.
i only look at what i can see on the home page....i can't see myself reading through the whole day's chat....
Thanks for answering Pen. I sometimes wonder if people click on that icon above that says VIEW ENTIRE CHAT LOG to see if words have been clued.
understood...i do not....i figure there are usually people around who don't mind clueing...
That explains why there are so many repeat clues from the previous days chat. Thanks.
yw...
i am done....not a bad grid for me...
congratulations pen
ty...
heading out....goodnight all....
goodnight pen
I am done. See ya'll.
Some people like the chat and banter that come with the requesting and sharing of clues in real time, Molly. Sure, one could cull the entire days log, use morewords, and Google, and finish the puzzle and not ask for a single clue, but everyone plays the game their own way. As for myself, I like the sharing of clues now and then. For those who do not, they can simply close the chat feed.
Crossy!
Hody, Jen. :-)
Howdy*
I am down to 132
when I open the whole chat,,, I lose the puzzle.....
:(
I can get back,,, Mmmm maybe I could open 2 windows... never tried that
I used to do that wgen I felt like culling the log.
I guess I'm too lazy,, I just scroll what I can see on this screen
weis
and then that happens!!!
The beauty of Babble is that you can choose the play style that works best for you. :-)
Lol
yes,,, my sister got me started....
