yes
Ahh; just like I can find all the weird medical terms (& I'm a retired RN)
I guess we're two of a kind
and I find the bunnies
LOL! No, not quite. I have to puzzle & puzzle over the grid before I "see" longer words.
Bunnies already, harp?
what really drives me nuts is when I see so many French words
no just ungulates so far

um, now everybody has it!
I've never had a foreign language class; and thisgame certainly reminds me of that at times!

goodnight all :)
good morning all! First word: taming of the ...... :)
cooee and g'day from me. {{{{spritey}}}} i have had a lovely day. just a small amount of clean laundry folded and put away. a bit achy after yesterdays session in the pool.
*hugs rose* Hello my dear friend. Sounds good! Glad you took it a little easier today. Yay on the pool work!
i saw GP yesterday. left shoulder has calcification in the soft tissues, a normal reaction to inflammation and healing. surface roughness in joint... arthritis there.
hm, okay, not fun honey. Painful stuff.
also my noradrenaline levels are a little elevated... could be cause of high temps, sweats, high blood pressure.
what kind of effect has that on you?
see below. higher levels bring on ghastly headaches... touch wood... i don't have those. i think the next step may be an ultrasound of kidneys.
oh, sorry, I misread. I read 'because' in stead of 'cause'
I am glad your gp takes such good care of you. I need you to live healthily till at least 100.
gp and i were discussing how my shape is changing. like my shoulders and thighs. she hopefully asked have you lost weight? i said nope. we both collapsed into giggles.
:)
you said so yesterday. I said it was because of all those muscles developing.
i refuse to allow scales and diet be ruling my life. too much stress
very wise. Just eat healthy, get a lot of exercise and judge the results by how your body changes.
that wasn't supposed to be a stopper ;)
NOTHING LIKE STARTIJG WITH A SPOILER!
sorry... cruising the new chic site. it's bracelets are to die for.
hehehe I knew you were squirreling, honey.
bonjour chere ruby
gosh their palm bracelets are gorgeous...
I did all our finances yesterday, rose. Such a relief to be able to manage it all. *HUGSSSSSSS* I told Rob off again for not opening his mail. Sigh. He actually was questioning me about the bills from his therapist, that had not been payed... no wonder if they are still in the closed envelope, right?
lollll.... men.....
ikr? Sometimes I feel like they just cannot get cause and result in the right order, lol
I think I will give up on this. I am going to open all mail that enters the house, and not expect Rob to open his own bills anymore. He simply does not.
*giggle*
the only way my dear
I concur. Have been trying to stay loyal to the rule that you should only open mail that is addressed to you, but it is not workable. Cannot change the man... gotta change my actions :D
Thank you Dr. God and Lickery <3
hiya Kate! *hugs*
hey ya {{{{kate}}}}
Hugs to rose, sprite, and ruby, if you're still here :)
how was your day, Kate?
Completely uneventful. didn't even step outdoors - just glared at the grey skies, cursing the approaching season... and you... other than opening bills, that is. Nothin g to do but wait for the house to sell now, I guess?
*gives Kate an extra hug* Don't curse the season, hun, invite it in and make it welcome... it might surprise you ;) No, we still have lots and lots to do. Still some closets to declutter and minimize the contents. Am dogsitting Caya's puppy, so lots of walks. Laundry Mount Washmore. And so on and so forth. Rob finished wallpapering the final wall the day before yesterday, so that job is done.
You're moving right along then! Nice to have a puppy in the house even if dog is not amused by foolish puppy. Laughing at Mount Washmore... :D don't really mind autumn, but feel like I missed out on most of summer. Like the cool crisp days with the blue skies, but we have had drear glaring down at us for days now!
grey days on end are draining, I know. Maybe collect a bunch of truly red autumn leaves and put them in a vase... bring in colour and fire and stoke your inner flame that way
Haha.. out leaaves have not yet turned traitor ;) (Well, one tree exceopted..) I am hoping for a very tiny windfall to come in the mail soon.. and I may break my budget an go buy some wine - or even sherry, it's just the sort of weather for sherry!
oh that would be awesome, Kate! *fingers crossed for the windfall*
our rose is still lost in chic country, I believe.
nope..... jaws now moving busily on crackers and cheese....
bracelets, did I see?
hehehe yummy
keeping my eye on you two... loll
Mmmm :D
yes kate... i love this site

I love you silly girls :D

changing my style...don't usually wear bracelets and rings and necklaces.
she deserves a reward for marching herself down there week in and week out!!
she deserves a reward for being rose
Ladies and gentlemen, the ever-evolving 50 shades of rose!
awww bless you both....{{{hugs}}}}
i realised the other day i have things in shades of purple, blue, pink, teal, blue.... not a lot of red.
you would look great in red
You wear a lot of the same colours as I do rose, I wear a lot of red! It is my best colour <3
i have several pairs of brightly coloured pants. and the tops i have bought, some are plain colour, others patterned with a main colour.
i love the boho look, also the vintage retro look.
Do not go gentle into that good night... bright colours are lilfe-giving!
boho? A well to do hobo?
I am an autumn colour girl all the way. All the warm reds, oranges, browns, greens. And black, for contrast.
btw you two... that lovely ght run of letters gets a great workout with this grid.
sure does, rose. Am down to 4 without even working hard at it, lol.
thanks for the head's up rose. I have a feeling I will be into Lickerty before I even get half way ;)
final word was a numeral, ugh. Should have seen that one earlier. Fireflies.
congratulations spritey!!!!!
WTG SPRITE !!!
time for me to go walk the doggies. It is funny, indoors, Te5 moves as soon as Lewi comes near. But as soon as they are outdoors, he couldn't care less and just goes about his business.
xoxoxox sprite. good for te5. enjoy your day honey. remember little steps...
One is definitely his territory, and outside he's not so possessive aboutr?
*hugs Rose, Kate and Kam* A blessed day and a peaceful night, all. *extra hug for rose, just because*
Kam is here?
nah, he is not possessive at all, he is simply not dominant in any way.
Have a good day sprite, enjoy your walkies :)
she is on-line.
Kam is lurking. She is not always in the mood to chat, but she usually reads along.
thanks, darlings!
she wasn't feeling well, last I saw... hope she's feeling a bit better...
nearly dinner time he4 kate. going to love and leave you honey. xoxox
no worries, have a good dinner and pleasant sleeep rose :) Need to dive into this grid if I'm going to wrangle it into submission!
ls anybody he**?
First shot, l found 137 words but then life intervened -- two nurses at the same time, blood test, etc
Hi ruby, well done on the sweep! Nice to see you!
HI Kate
How are you doing as fall (ugh) approaches?
Is the rest of the day yours now that the nurses have had teir way eith you?
Ha! I've already had my daily moan about the changing of the weather :) Hoping for clearer skies as it's almost dawn now.
Our weather continues to be perfect -- cool nights, Sunny warmish afternoons
And how about you? Are Ruf & Raf still as sweet as ever.. giving you lots of company?
lt's very dry and my lawn crunches, but th*** ere still roses

Nice to have your garden brightening your day. How does it look, now that the gardener has taken out the trees and it's had a chance to fill in a bit?
just hadmy third telemarketer call
rotten telemarketers! Driving you crazy, no doubt...
Still many trees and shrubbery, and the holly is trying to take over.
l started by planting one small holly and now th*** are at least 6plants
:) It's always something - that will be next season's project.
No, they're beautiful!
I like the holly, so pretty when not much else is going on in the garden :)
There is still a lot going on - lots of otheerflowers
There is still a lot going on - lots of otheerflowers
roses doing nicely?
The roses are wonderful and more are coming by post and Gilles, the gardener will plant them in a Week or so
l had no id** that roses we** so easy to grow
dreds
Once they are established, they are pretty low maintenance ruby. just keep in mind that roses don't like wet feet ;) What roses do you have coming in the post?
l have no idea
what colour are they, white?
l know Nothing except color and l have a very specific palette. The colors throughout the varikous flower beds have no yellow or orange(the day lilies dont give up)
color range frompale pink, through every shade of pink, red, salmon and violet oh, nd blue
Some white but not too much
Eventually you will get all the lilies, but they do dig in if they are happy
lt's a little bit wild, like an English garden.
I thought I remembered you talking about white, maybe that was flowering shrubs? I keep the colour mixes separate too. Used to plant the cool colours where they got afternoon sun and the warm colours in morning sun. Funnily, I have always lived on North-South streets, so front/back might switch for sun exposurem but it made it easy.
I like that, not fond of an overly formal garden. I like things scrambling around a bit.
Since l Don't get outmuch (gross understatement), others select many of the plants, not Always successfully
And when they're happy, they multiply
You need a big bull horn thingy so you can sit on the terrace and "direct traffic" when the gardeneer comes. Did you mean select plants to be put in or removed?
put in, l decide what goes out
ah, those lilies... tried to help a friend get rid of hers, it took 3 seasons of dedicated digging to get them all!
l Don't mind, it's only a Week or so
bye, see you later -- starving as usual!
Bye ruby, rake care!
haha.. and take care too ;)
And as always and again, Shergar is missing

Ah, gotya. Not yet seeing it, but perhaps it'll spring out
This is the first grid I remember every having seen that doesn't start with at least one letter greed out.
It's an odd sort of milestone, but there it is
Heh. May I have a nudge on that elusive si 9/10 combo, please?
I found an si8....but clearly, that's not a 9 :)
thanks for the si10
The second word uses that unusual and fruitful letter combo that runs up the grid.
Perfect nudge, thank you!

please bear with me, but was just sent the following, which tickled my funny bone and have to share... Why I quit golf: Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed my clubs, slipped quietly into the garage and proceeded to back out into a torrential down pour. The wind felt as if it was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible." My loving wife of 20 years replied: "Can you believe my stupid husband is out golfing in that crap?" I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I have stopped golfing...
love it nan
I think you have to be the wife of an avid golfer to appreciate it
or cheating on one
I don't golf or cheat but I loved how easily she wound him up
exactly bugs - very annoying when a ton of things need doing around the house and you wind up working while hubby sails off to the golf course when there is an inch of frost on the ground --- the sun might come out you know
