I do sympathise but everyone is going to find things in the chog they don't like - there is no moderation and no specific rules (apart from 'don't be an arse') - I am sure there are people who aren't keen on my chat subjects, and yours, and pretty much everyone else's. I kind of feel that as long as someone isn't trolling or being cruel, it's not down to us to decide what is appropriate and what isn't.

You can actually close the chog as well, if you're so inclined. I tend to just ignore it unless I fancy looking (or need help). Yep, Babble Pro is a thing - it's free, it's a PC program that makes some things rather easier

Hi zoos. I'm sorry to hear about your mother's diverticulitis. I had to take a friend in to the ED at 10 PM 2 weeks ago; she lives alone & had a bad attack & told me she'd drive herself in. I wouldn't let her.

She had sheet given to her from the hospital with things to eat and things to avoid.
The diet does help; and the antibiotics to get rid of the inflammation.
She had antibiotics but they did not touch it.
Did she tell the doc that?
She could eat something one day and it would be fine then have it again another time and be really bad.
Yeah she told him and said the only thing is surgery.

How is her health otherwise? (&, truth be told, my friend is still trying to get back to her "normal" also)
Frail but not too bad.
She refuses to have surgery but at her age I get that.
then maybe she should go for it? IDK, My 1 Aunt just had major surgery on a colon cancer last January; she is 84 & although she had some complications for the first monthor so & was weak afterwards; she's busier than she was before surgery now; I rarely catch her at home anymore
