Does anyone ever miss Jacula? She was a "spirited" one. Full of opinions and a bunch of vinegar.
a.k.a. someone I'd rather avoid and not deal with/a real bitch.
Back in 2005 you couldn't get a word in when she was around. She was a very vile and nasty person. Others applauded her behaviour though.
I like Jacula and think she is a strong, interesting woman. We all have opinions. It's our differences that make us interesting.

I remember it well. That was a bad time. Especially when lots of people still thought they were for real, and got mad at the babblers who already said it was a troll. But somehow we have managed to heal our community and it is stronger than ever.
M's daughter's wedding is April 19 in the Lake Tahoe area - will be a long weekend, and we're hoping there isn't any weather to contend with! Getting cables for the car just in case of snow. It's hard to decide what to wear! I'm not part of the wedding party, but she wants me dressed up for photos. Bad timing for this post...

When I told her what I planned to wear, she asked me to dress up more - we've already spent more than we can afford for hotel, tux rental and dog boarding...and it's Easter weekend. I'm not spending money on a bride's mom type dress - I don't dress up well and can't wear heels.
Christine - the weather changes so quickly in the Sierras! The forecast has said sunny and we've driven through snow flurries several times.

it all depends on how you look at that mirror. If you want to see a wrinkle-less young thing, you will be disappointed. If you are willing to see a beautiful elderly lady, who went through a lot and wears it with honour, you will see how beautiful you really are.

At 82, I still look 30. My secret is to close my eyes, whenever a mirror looms. That said, I'm probably healthier than I was at 20, and I'm looking forward to the next 20 years ... being a couch potato helps, 'cos I don't often oass a mutror.
