Good morning spritey!!!
*hugs peach* Hello dear one, how are you feeling today?
Doing ok so far. And you?
just got home from the gp, lots of bloodwork to wait for now. All in all not too bad, just tired now.
Can you get lots of rest today? Just try to not do too much just now.
Are you having much pain in your ankle?
noes
Sorry
yes, I can take it easy, just a walk with Terra later on.
lots of pain lately, not just the ankle. Rose thinks it is FM. Doc is gonna try and exclude all other possibilities. It is nothing serious, anyway, so am not complaining ;)
Good.
and for the neuropathy she is increasing my meds, and if that doesn't help, we will move to another med that will allow for higher doses, so it looks like that pain will be treatable partly too. For which I am very grateful.
I will be 'sending' to you. Good vibes and energy will help. Sprite, I do believe that our 'problems' cause us upset in many unhealthy ways.
so very true, peach. Your sendings are invaluable, I appreciate it so much. And you are in my thoughts and prayers always too.
I'm having sinus problems which
causes presure
on my eyes.....so I've been dizzy a lot lately.....if you won't mind would you please mention it in a prayer for me? Thanks love.
absolutely. Will be very specific about it. Dizziness is so debilitating. It influences everything in life.
Indeed. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
(((((peach)))))
Thanks, dear one.
cooooeeeee
*hugs rose* Hello my dear friend, so good to see you. How are you doing today?
Hey there, rose!!!
doing better thanx honey. lovely to see you yoo. hey peach...now don't you run away, you hear.
loll TOO
I'm just piddling now, rose. Good to see y ou on board.
yoo hoo too you :D
what did the doc say about the TENS?
won't do any harm, and might do some good. She does not expect I will get feeling back there though.
today, granny and grandpa were called upon to collect Deacon from school. he wasn't well. he greeted me with a lovely hug, really folding himself into my ams.
awwww bless him. So good for him to have his granny to hold on to when not feeling well.
brb
no disrespect to your doc, but the formation of new neural pathways is ony just becoming a known fact.
hurrry back, peach
she thinks the damage is too extensive. But it is worth trying, and the stimulation can only do good, so I am to keep up with it.
stem cell research is forging ahead. some people who have acquired brain injuries, have now been able to learn to walk again.
extensive bloodwork, will hear next week, and then we will go on with the other pain.
I trust you got my email :)
okay, putting you back on the prayer list. like you are never off, but something new to be specific with the Big Guy.
thanks sweetie. Your prayers are very much appreciated.
yes thank-you my darling. can you remember when i held you in my arms? and i said... i will never let you go...next time you stat to spin-out, please try and coach yourself to close your eyes and remember that time. what it felt like, how my voice sounded.
I remember, sweetie. Very well. But but but... it is not the same as having you here IRL. Just sayin'.
don is having a lovely time. the local Toyota dealer has the new Rav 4 in stock. he is reading everything about it.
boys and their toys :)
sweetie, you/we can do this. you can separate yourself from physical pain, i have seen you do it. now let's work on the emotional pain.
hm I can do that too. Problem is, separating from emotional pain is not so healthy. Am learning better ways with Noud, it is just taking time... and energy. How are you doing with the fatigue, honey?
pacing myself of course. recognising when i need the fast-release med is hard.
probably about 30 mins before you think you do :P
perhaps separating isn't the right word. maybe recognising the emotional pain is happening, and take a deep breath, and try to remember that special moment we had together. allow yourself to be comforted.
I will. Doing the very best I can, honey, I promise.
hey, and where's womby in all this. a very tangible link to me is right there.
where do you think? Right here on the bed with me :)

oh, tomorrow myself and Kerry are going to see the Australian ballet perform Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. looking forward to it very much.
how lovely. I hope you will have a wonderful time!
Kerry is my off-sider who works with me to provide the community lunch on Fridays.
perfect :) A night out with a friend sounds just like the thing for you.
i would have taken June but she is very scathing in her remarks re ballet. and Don would prolly sleep and snore through the performance...loll
lol yes he would. And it is Jane's loss... you will have so much fun.
we had another big thunderstorm last evening. It is no wonder I am feeling so iffy. It just goes on and on and on.
poor you...{{{{hugs}}}}} btw, Deacon says granny's home-made chicken and vegetable soup is really yummy.
awwwww and he is right.
I'm back now....needed to feed the dog.

sweetie, I have been awake since 3.30 am, am tired. Am gonna try and have a little nap. *hugsssssss* and lots of love. Rose and peach, you are in my thoughts and prayers. *hugs*
Sweet dreams, sweetie.

so peach....you and i.... against the world...loll
And a mighty force we are.....LOL
yup... with the Big Guy on our side who will stand against us... loll
That is so true, rose.
you know, i don't think you and i have chatted at length much. what breed, if any is your pooch, and the name?
hokay....peach has left the building... loll night y'all.

ty dan
sorry dan I don't understand?
well I meant ugh the re's earlier, but I actually breezed through them. it's the ro's giving me trouble.
MLF, think of Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot
the six reminds me of the clinical word for needing to touch but change the vowels
If you changed the t, it is a type of medical exam nobody wants
they are detectives?
still have to change the last vowel too origami
Good clue, Origami
Hercule Poirot is a fictional Belgian detective, created by Agatha Christie. Sherlock Holmes is a fictional private detective created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
yes
name that Monty Python proper noun

ty dan
nbt
the corner t ends like winning the trif____ at the track

phantom reselect

but not a word according to Enable
exactly
I gtg will be back....
got last 8
MLF is going for an all day pass to the PB : D
it's not a phantom if you can actually see it. is it? :D
My understanding of the word "phantom" as it is used here is words that are "almost" there. Not words that are there, but are not accepted.
Mr. Baldwin. He is in the grid all the time and I never, ever see it. My brain just refuses to recognize that word.
I'm over this grid...
yeah, I tried it with a k on the end (like smart-) and did not expect the Baldwin version.
oh, because it's obsolete according to the def
well, 18 left after first pass-through of list. now I must go do some work and hopefully they'll come to me later.TTFN!
dammit.. realtor is almost in the grid
Enable won't take that anyway
Are you still on the right coast, ru?
nope i'm back home.. it was a great trip
took the early flight out yesterday
Still drinking low acid coffee?
yes.. i have to
that word is in the grid and is valid but not in enable
lorena bobbit's husband would say decock is a word
Have you tried cold brew coffee? It is supposed to be lower in acid.
lol ruru
i'm a hot coffee guy by rule in the morning bzz.. but i can try it out sometime
ruru very similar to a word today
bzz I didn't know that?
You can heat cold brew up to have it hot. It is the brewing of the coffee that produces more acid.
ah... i didn't know that
Good morning, all.
i'm miserable without coffee in the morning

Looking for my last 29...
Okay, today's odd Babble grammar lesson for me is that a word ending in x can have a ces plural. Ooo, that makes my brain hurt.
Any word ending in X makes my brain hurt.
index, indices
I think I can honestly say that I have never used the word indices.
And since indexes is also correct, I'm sure most people use that.
it's pretty archaic
Maybe my profs used it...
Oh, my new word for the day is ta7...
Yeah, that one got me too. I suppose you could use it in reference to a baby after a bath, but why? : O
And the electric car gets me everytime...
Off to take the kids to the airport...It will be quiet here this evening (Thank goodness)=)

Crikey. I’ve just finished watching that HBO series Chernobyl. What an amazing piece of television. I can’t say I enjoyed it, given the subject matter, but utterly fascinating. Very well worth a watch.

I agree, Soodle....
Hey Trif. ((((Hugs))))
Taking dogs out to pee....
Your little man is GORGEOUS
Yeah. He’ll do. LOL. He is perfect. In every way. I’m liking this whole Gramma thing. They are all back home in Ireland right now & he is good as gold. (Apart from the waking every 2 hours thing....)
Hello Gramma Soodle
Ruby Ruby Ruby!! I emailed you, but got no response. ( I know you were having email problems). Great to ‘see’ you. How are you doing?
L never received your mail, but on the rare times l see you in here, l try to follow your wonderful story.
Yours is the only good news l ever see
Ah, Ruby. There is nothing on Planet Earth more positive than the birth of a new baby. All that potential ahead of them, no bullshit infecting them yet - it’s all so blooming POSITIVE. It’s infectious. It’s exhausting. It’s exhilarating. It’s marvelous.
oh ruby that does sound awful to bear
l'm sorry to dampen babble euphoria
eclat
sorry
No. I’m sorry to be baby-zilla! How are you Rubes?
l'll write to you tomorrow
lt's rainy and cold but the roses love it

My mother is on her last legs. She is 87 & 1/2. My son’s partner has just given birth. Between the very very old and the very very young, my brain is fried.
Precious precious wee one!!
hi again -- and congrats again soodle - beautiful baby boy
He IS a beautiful child - love the eyebrows, so expressive. Are they close to you Soodle?
Thank you, Nan & Une. I am beside myself with pride and joy.
Lynn - as I type, they are here with me, but they live in the UK. But Ryanair do ridiculously cheap flights, so, we will be over & back.
Beautiful baby soodle, what is his name?
I foresee many Soodle tears whn they have to go back. He is just delicious.
Thank you Nancy. He is Paul David Dickinson. A big name for a little man. 🤗
Is he your Mums first great grandchild?
Lovely name. Kiss and hug him up for me. I adore babies.
Lynn - Fingers in ears, going ‘La La La ‘. (Not thinking about the going back bit) . Just savoring the moment. He is here in my arms at the moment helping me find words. Only 2 weeks old and already Babbling. This little fella will go places!!
Thank you Nancy. Newborns scare the bejayus out of me. Even my own newborns freaked me. But I seem to be more relaxed with this little guy.
That is part of the joy of being a grandma. When he looks up at you and coos and smiles, you are a goner. Then when things get dicey, you can give me to his mom.
=him to his mom
