good morning all
if you can have a footnote, why not the opposite?
I'm turning that one around in my brain, Sprite. It would practically have to be a forethought.
the opposite is in the grid
:D *hugs Kam* Lovely to see you.
jess... you are totally right. Must have mistyped it the first time, because it did not take. Thanks!
*Hugs* Sprite!
yw sprite
I automatically assumed it wasn't a word since you said that, Spite! See how much I trust you ;)
lol! Better not, I make mistakes by the bucketfull!
One of our little towns that really got hit by the quake is in the grid. Hmmm.
was it close to you, Kam?
We didn't feel it. I think I measured the distance at ~317 miles. People to the north of us felt it, but we're on solid rock here.
am glad. It was a big one.
My daughter doesn't live too far away, but they said they didn't feel it. I'm surprised, because they live closer than LA, and LA felt it in a big way.
maybe also on solid ground?
Yes, it was big - it's the longest "swarm" I've ever seen here. I lived down there when the Northridge quake hit, and it emptied out my bookcases!
They feel small quakes at their place often. I don't know if they were home. If they were out and about, they wouldn't have been as likely to feel it.
wow! Must be a really scary feeling. We do not have earthquakes here, just a few minor blips when they emptied the natural gas reserves out too far.
Once you live through one, you never forget it! It's pretty unsettling.
Time is up, alas. Lovely to have seen you, Kam! *hugs* *leaves big hug in chog for rose to find* And to you all, a blessed day and a peaceful night.
Good to see you too! Have a great day!
Good to see you too! Have a great day!
I will, grin. It is my birthday today, and Rob and I will go out for dinner. Must first work a lot though... am helping at my volunteer job to train new volunteers. Fun to do, but busy!

well, folks, anecdotal evidence that chocolate is healthy - I never had ankle swelling problems (except with one pregnancy) until I was in the hospital for 3+ months last year. Got home, resumed regular diet (including "choklit") and it went away. Ranout last week, ankles began to swell. Shopped and got some yesterday, this AM ankles back to normal. Hmmm...
hmmm indeed. I always knew I can't live without it.
chocolate reduces swelling hmm?
i better stay away from chocolate then :D
lol hokie we have chocolate ice cream sandwiches in our freezer
bwahaha!!!
mo 5?
What type, rbud? Dark, milk, high cocoa content or just regular chocolate. By the way I love them all :-)
who doesn't love chocolate zooz?
I know some people who don't like it or say it gives them headaches. Can those people be trusted?
I do know several people who hate chocolate. Bejond me why but they do.
i don't like white chocolate too sweet for me
i'm really not big on chocolate..
well, I had a few cookies (kind of like oreos but with chocolate-y centers) and a lil' hershey bar, too, so not sure.

Hello, Featherbee :-) Long time know see. Hope you are well.

i have the same problem weedie :D
feather i have the same issue
I dislike using Google Docs sometimes, because it actually doesn't keep up with my typing always
I think I've read that chocolate may be a migraine trigger for some?
it can be rbud
beer is a trigger for migraines for me
weather and stress are my triggers
one can and I'm aleing
might be the sodium content in the beer
ha
hey, ya'll want to feel old?
doesn't alcohol in general cause headaches or is that just from a hangover?
Daniel's starting high school next year. Nick's starting middle school.
i didn't know there was sodium in beer?
If someone hit me with a baseball bat I would get headaches then.
wow weed..
that's amazing
sugar is in it too as far as i know
Daniel turns 15 in a few weeks
I like your photos in flickr, Featherbee :-)

went looking for references for the sodium in beer... now wondering if it was just a personal thing for Hubs - he used to say Bud gave him headaches and Busch didn't. Thought it was sodium or maybe preservative content, and thought I'd read that it was possible back then. Now I'm seeing smaller numbers.
maybe they healthied it up in ten-fifteen years...
i had heard recently that chocolate is good for you
Chuckling at feather's comment about being old with a 15 yr old son -- old is when your grandkids turn 30!
they've been saying dark chocolate is good for you for a while now. I just pretend all chocolate is good for you.
I'm with you there, hokie carla!
When it comes to chocolate, damned of you do, damned of you don't.

hokie neither did I when I first turned on the tv this am before I ate she was playing but it wasn't being shown. Men's match instead. Hadnt watched since
I am so disappointed she lost
tr 6/18?
never mind
she was up against a recent #1 player in the world, and acquitted herself very well - she did seem to lose her nerve in the second set a bit, called for a trainer at one point, and had a pretty high number of unforced errors. But she broke serve at least once, and forced deuce a lot
very clearly not the last we'll see of Coco in the major tournaments
I hit 200!

*!*~*!* Thanks for the help and hagd everyone :)
good enough for me, it must be a good clue.
I shouldn't have sat down...=)
my clue would have been most of the word that was a major plot point in the movie series I already mentioned in the chat. and then maybe one person would have gotten it.
I'm having a really hard time with the first co5/12, 6/21. will accept any clues. :D
me too need the co 24
I have a plural for the first co5/12
Maybe the dove sound with extra vowels and plural?
whoops, 2nd one
probably that. I have been trying combos like that.
need the penultimate one
Yes, dove sound, etc...
co5/12 is something a British person might call out.
think of space, Neil de Grasse Tyson's show
Or Australian, I guess.
sorry, don't use Brit speak
The penultimate 5/12 is a mathematical term, used for a smaller "group" of something within another.
Nine left...Monday things to do...
no idea hat that is Gillie
It'
*what
It's just the same as the previous co5/12, except for the last consonant.
don't have that either
The mathematical one looks like a mispelling of a word meaning to pamper or coddle.
No idea what that is
co5 binding undergarment without the R
ty Molly and Gillie
I'm having clue deja vous
whoops, I clued the ultimate co6/24, not the penultimate one

carla, clue for the co 6/24, pls
i have a plural co6/24, and also one that's a bird
pls clue the bird
they're from California?
the penultimate one is like to rope off an area, or a british guy with an american late night talk show
nearly extinct, vulture type bird
the bird is an anagram of the one you're looking for
ty carla, have the bird
how many co6/24 are there?
actually the British guy is spelled differently but sounds the same as roping off an area
i have four co6/24 now
looks like there are 6
to 5/12, first one, pls
thx hokie
only to5/12 i have rhymes with another word for twisted/braided cord

thx Bea

the en8 is like a made up word, you'll have to look through the chat where someone did a good spell it out clue.
en8 - final + cell biology change
co 6/24, last one, pls

that's the one I clued accidentally earlier, think of space or the universe.

Idiots, yes. Some folks on that show. I wouldn't go so far as saying...idiots...Americans. I still have great love for this country and the folks who made it great.
i should clarify... these americans are idiots... not in general :)
Good evening. May I please have a clue for an7-32? Thanks.

Aunt Beulah lived from 1915-1960

i'm descended from john and priscilla alden on my mother's side, and from roger williams, founder of RI, on BOTH sides. he was very cool so i am proud of that one.
