the current hoopla/panic related to the coronavirus is due to media involvement. Especially since this year is an election year it is to get society's attention away from the important stuff. Same thing happened with the Ebola virus. As soon as whatever was going on we never heard of the cases again. Out here in Oregon/Washington the toilet paper and soap manufacturers are making bank as the supplies are flying off the shelf. Costco, yes Costco!, sold out of toilet paper and paper towels over the weekend. The mass hysteria of people is just nuts.
