We had some pretty sh***y behaviour at our beaches so they introduced laws to stop people gathering.. was highly embarrassing for this country

same here - it was Spring Break in Florida, the beaches were packed. Then the other day I saw a map of cell phone tracings for the two weeks after , from just one beach - they went home all over the eastern half of the U.S. and some spots out west as well.

We have to do what we can to protect the elderly and ill healthed people. I am worried about the jobs that people might lose by the time thos is over though.
Our biggest issue was travelling youth at Bondi Beach, and the virus spread expedientially

More than anything, unemployment is now a major concern. We are a country with very few... and our jobless rate is now 15%. Unreal
The young think they are immune to this virus but here in the UK a thirteen year old boy with no health issues died from the corona virus yesterday.

YNo we are fine to be honest this routine is no different now to what it was before the lockdown. Nothing has changed for us. As we do not go out anywhere anyway.
Rob is okay, still healthy, thank God. Tim is back in the Netherlands, university is closed and exams are cancelled, he has automatically been promoted to the next study year. Caya has graduated magna cum laude, very proud of her. She will go for her Master's in the fall.
YMy day consists of getting up going to parents look after them come home. Then repeat the next day and so on haha!

I will tell her, zooz :) We are a bit worriesd about her, she complained of a sore throat and coughing, and her girlfriend had a cold. There has been a contact with someone with covid19, so it is a possibility. But yesterday she wasn't worse than the day before, I am praying that means it is not the flu. I cannot recommend getting it!

well, I didn't have to go to the intensive care and I am still alive, so I am not complaining.
N no illness is good. High temperature and consstent dry cough are the main symptoms.

I know. Am still coughing like mad, but the fever is down, haven't had a fever for 36 ho5 now, so that should mean I am over the flu. Got pneumonia, which is over now too. And now bronchitis. Once the organs are damaged by the virus, bacteria grab their chance, alas.

Pneumonia is the pits. Trying to get the phlem from your chest is a ruddy nightmare. I had it end of september and even now I am still trying to cough it out.

I would think everything would be closed due to all the lockdowns going on.
quite possible that the lockdowns in Aussie are not as tight as here. We have a much denser population.
Not sure what the timeline is here. some say a few more weeks and they might relax the lockdown some are saying it could go on for six months.Will just have to wait and see I guess.

Yes they are. The only problem with that is they tell us one thing and the NHS is saying that that is not the case.
oh how frustrating. Here, they are doing it together. We had a press conference yesterday and it was clear as a bell.

Sounds good, Sprite! Glad your government is being quick about it and being open and honest with its people. I think ours are trying to do the same but they got the strategy wrong and so have had to change course and are now fighting a catch up game.

Since the hospital allows no visitors, I couldn't talk to the doctors and find out what the main issue was. Blood test all out of whack. He thought he had everything he needed to test, but there was no battery to run the glucose test

Bless you, Kam trying to deal with this on your own must be hard. They should of made sure he had everything he needed. I would make plenty of noise. But for now you are tired and so need to rest. Have that then write down your plan of action and go for it.
You could also look on social media sites like facebook to see if others have had similar experiences and how they resolved them. Take an hour or so to do that. There might be some good suggestions.
