we're plodding along, emptying the house, hoping it sells quickly when we list it. the foot, even two years post-op, is complaining a little with all this stair-walking, but it's so much better than it was

up to the lake, scrabs. small house with no storage, so we're scrambling to purge everything we don't need. there'll be no need for surgery on the other foot - the surgeon was right. once the really bad one was fixed, the other wouldn't have to do all the work and would calm down. but i am waiting for surgery on a ganglion cyst on my left wrist - with surgeries cut back, it might be a really long wait

it's not what you or i would consider a 'lake house,' but it'll do. when i hear 'lake house,' i picture a house on the water, misty mornings and loons calling. this is not that by a long shot :)
it's more of a golf cottage with the lake in walking view - short cart ride to the dock where we keep our boat

some of the mountain lakes here are spectacular, scrabs - some are difficult to get to, but worth the trek
