They are beautiful birds. I see them up here in the summer.

We have a little country store here that has a lighted sign outside. It said, "Mary Christmas and Happy New Year's". Good grief!
Spelling and grammar mistakes irk me. A pizza shop has a sign "taco's."

I have thought about mailing the manager a note, but just laugh at the sign.
I look at my granddaughter's spelling and wonder if it's even taught in school
Most schools do not teach it.
I have seen my 4th grade grand-nephews school work and spelling errors seem to not be corrected.
So, what do they teach? Not cursive.
I was on call the last 2 days and got 13 pages yesterday from 12 (office closed then) and 8pm. All but 2 were about COVID exposures. Xmas gatherings effectively shared CoV.
Some school still teach cursive.
Montessori teaches cursive.
Maybe Catholic schools
my sons are 18 and 21 and cannot read cursive - were taught it for literally one week in like 3rd grade - I fought with the district for years for them to teach it - their answer "teach it at home" - ridiculous :(
