I feel so guilty lately. We had a real problem child. He just was NOT ready to be attending a public school, and needed a strong therapeutic setting, which he is finally getting. Everyone feels so relieved he is gone. The relief is palpable. poor young man.
we just WERE NOT the right setting for him, and it was hard not to get frustrated
no need for guilt. some things are beyond capanilities in a public setting
I would try, really really try, to look at him and think "child of god, child of god" but it was VERY hard to do so. God bless x a million the people who have him now
i know. there is a program for kids out of high school but under 21 to teach them work skills, we have them at the food pantry. the coach is just so amazing
people like that are worth their weight in gold
