i have only grayed 4 tiles
gee...i have grayed 6 but i have 75 words left to find....
I have several close ones
i have found that just working on one tile at a time finishes me faster in this game
perhaps...but i don't think that is as fun for me....

once i have exhausted what i can find, i sometimes just look for fours and do that systematically....and i often attack letters that are missing lots of words....
I work on one tile at a time on first pass and then again on subsequent passes, but have to move on eventually when I can't find them all.

last night I was -16 almost the whole round and couldn't figure out why when I was typing nonstop as fast as I could. then about 30 seconds left noticed a -ing and finished -7.

I have read how the formula works but it makes no sense in action. I can lose a huge amount of points but then I beat higher players and they only lose 1 pt.

When I did quick errands, I used to leave my cell phone in my car when I went into a store. For the last few years I now take my phone with me "in case there is a shooting." I also note exits in all places.
