Yes, sue. When we were in KS, we fostered for a boxer rescue. We had a dozen move through our house. We also had two that didn't leave.
every dog I've fostered has lived with me from then on
yes and no. its great to get them ready for a family. but depending on the personalty of the dog, it isn't always a good fit. eg: high energy dog in an older home.

but the house in NC has 2 dog doors, dogs, cats & adults and kids at times. It is a perfect foster setup. plus my kids have fostered everything from snakes to pigs to dogs.

welki, if you ever go near Hilton Head, there's a super nice campground at HH National. We played there and I lost a ball in a very gator looking area but I have like an 18' retriever and I got all kinds of balls people had left. (FTR, I was up on a retaining wall)
