pace is beginning to pick up as we are very close to the end of Lent and all that entails. this year it is our church's turn to host the walkers who will walk from a church about 30 minutes walk from us. it is the Walk of Witness. followed by an ecumenical service for all five churches involved.

my feet are crazy all by themselves. With the nerve damage, it is hot, cold, freezing, burning, stabs, hot pokers, numb.
an old dutch song went something like this: I would wanna dance with you, but my feet are hurting so bad. (Ik wil wel met je dansen maar mijn voeten doen zo'n zeer.) And when I need to let Rob know it is really bad, I just sing the first line and then he knows. Better than complaining :)

I hear you, mine are going the same way. I remember the neurologist who diagnosed me. He said, it is idiopathic polyneuropathy. I said, so lots of my nerves are sick and you have no clue why. He laughed and confessed that was what it meant.

i've been pretty good today, diet wise. still have a bit of forbidden foods in the house, but stock is diminishing rapidly. Don has hard boiled some eggs for me. i'm allowed two/day. and i finally got my act together and have chopped up a huge bunch of rhubarb, and several apples. stewed them in low joule lemonade. ready to have with my low fat yoghurt as my supper time snack.

it's like taking pets into stores other than pet stores. I took my dog into Lowes once, and a lady had to cover her face and leave. when I was leaving, she was outside. I told her that the dogs are friendly. She said she loves dogs, but she is highly allergic to them. I never took my dogs into a non-pet store again.
