in my own experience, if I have such a blind spot, it stays there, lol.
What's frustrating is when I get down to say 20 left, use the list and find a bunch of fish just slapping me that I missed. Plurals, simple obvious words etc
oh yeah. Same here. Even worse for me, if when I see I have some plurals where I missed the singular. Arrrggh!

yeah that is always taking me some time to get used to. We have such an odd word list in babble, an ancient version of enable.
To be fair, haha is a real word, not just a laugh. Also, many of those other games don't accept British spellings as 'real' words

And it is more one who goes around something than one who shapes
or maybe one who uses the shape to highlight ads in the paper that look promising for apartments or jobs
