I just started playing this game about a week ago...I don't get how you know lengths and values before stats go up? Also, do you use particular dictionaries on line to help? Thanks!
I wrote a program that generates those lists. The dictionary used is the Enable dictionary.

Babs, try clicking on the question mark to the left of each word you've found. It will take you to dictionary.com, at least mine does.
The Enable dictionary is not online per se, but you can download the enable wordlist from some sites. a2zwordfinder can use the enable dictionary as can www.puzzlers.org
Hit f5 to force a refresh for the stats. And you may not have access if you are not pro.

yes, sprite... firefox. also sometimes it will "half-accept" a non-word, even show it in the word list with a letter count and no points, but if I refresh it will be gone

Yes, GothicAngelMT... I think it has to do with a spotty connection. Sometimes I will even lose valid words that way, and not realize until later that, even though I entered them, they didn't take.

grey, the q7/8 is a maths term. It's hard to think of a hint. Sfneil, sorry, it sounds like what you've left are just the small ones -- keep going to and f__ and you'll get them.
