I have to finish looking up the words in the last one...
Good evening everyone :)
95 words today
Me too. Then it locked up! I don 't think this site was set up to handle so amny people.
hi nan, you were a clue in the last grid
good evening, nan! Glad there's fewer words today. I tend to panic when there's more than 150...
best I got so far is N 6/18. bleh.
Found a word that was in the last puzzle. no 4/5
only one 7 and one 8 today freep... so that's still good
hmm. I was feeling proud of my s 5/24...
good. I feel redeemed <g>
*scurries to look for s5* :)
Careful LeslieAnn! It's a trick stat --
ah, trick stats. see you're throwing obstacles behind you.
d 6/21... with only one 7 and one 8, i'm posting 6's!
I have 15 words already! 5 more and I can go to sleep! It's good to have concrete and measurable goals...
17 words, but no 6s... [pout]
Okay, 20 words, self-imposed limit to keep me from working too long. good night all, see you tomorrow!
g'night stid
s 8/50!
good one, freep
And better still, I actually believe it's a word! <G>
hint?
Night stid - see you again
I was told it's too early post-flip for hints....
c 6/30
hi gang kids in bed (I hope) so I am back
c 6/21
S 7/48
ok 7 and 8 ladies... how about it it from lower s or upper s? (and is it bigger than a bread box?)
both esses are from the top and S 7 is Hindu human.
hey now... they call me MR. Freep. And it's the upper S for the 8
uh oh... sorry freep
and the S/8 is linguistic
51 down for me, that's enough... good night, folks
'nite Leslieann....
night LeslieAnn
a 6/36
right or left?
or bottom?
Gotta hit te sheets! Adios and nitey 'nite, All!
Nite, Chic -- one more word and I'm quitting too.
night chic
I'm out too. See ya all tomorrow. Good luck.
Good night :)
Hello evilolive are you out there?
Good Morning. I have decided to join the game again today. Hope i have better luck today.
hi carmenb. trying to do a bit of this in between work!
Ha... how funny you big boggle nerd! How's Bump?
how many words?
95 words. bumps going great
By the way is this Carl or Sarah? I've never played this before - so I'm just meant to get as many big words as poss in the next 24hours? I've got 4 so far so I guess you're beating me!
yes thats right. you can get stats on the words from bab anon link on the right. its carl
Hey do u get Today Tonight in Brisbane? Did u see me on TV on Thurs night?
What do you mean I can get stats on the words?
no we missed it - at airport getting rellies. stats tell you how many words start with which letters and what the second letter is plus how many letters in the word.
gotta go. bye everyone
K see u Carlos. Give Myron & Bump a kiss and cuddle from me xoxo
hey jp
Morning dear gang :) Another small one, I see.
hi sprite yes but a hard one
Morning Sprite Did you finish sudoku?
FMithc: yes, but I guessed twice. Either I am not smart enough, or this one isn't a real good one. Probably the first.
LOL I doubt it Sprite, I am saving sdoku for later, having enough problems with this grid today, only at 1/2 way mark.
gelababe you in yet?
hi - just logged in.
Must be mu fastest ever. Some stupidhead words, but none we haven't seen before.
Congrats sprite
good job sprite I thought I was doing well (18 left ) LOL suggestions for nu 6/21 please?
No6 but with a small difference
thanks sprite got it
Hi folks aw..... I cant get it 6/36 nor ar6/24 and ca 6/30 does anyone have smart clues?
no it6/36 here lucky don't have the rest as I am working backwards and am at D 's
The ca6/30 has the same ending as a part of Spain. It also has the same ending as an item of ladies underwear resembling a corset
You know Babble put some spice into my life last night...
but this board is impossible..!
that is good to hear KevinE
Andy read again I meant aw6/36 lol
andy you always seem to be on whenever I am. do you stay up all night too?
no it is not sprite has already finished
I have no it6, but I do have ir6. Sarcastic metal. Ar6 is a familiar bastard, alt. spelling, imperative to express an order of dismissal. Archaic too.
ok lucky - same answer anything post D ask still 16 to go
And Aw6 is same as W5/22.
thanks sprite
andy good going ar6/24?
Lucky, see 2.41 am for Ar6.
no have yet :-) sorry lucky betwwen C's and D's now
Thanks sprite *zeer erkentelijk!* lol
:D Graag gedaan natuurlijk, als altijd :)
Oh andy sorry ca6/30 perhaps?
not there yet lucky LOL good choices though :-)
Andy maybe I can help You???
Ca6 = helmet, especially an ornate visorless headpiece of the 16th century. French looking ending.
Does anyone notice the clock is almost at its end? what is wrong babble apocalypse or something?
Lucky, 'refresh' should cure that.
da 5/12 please?
Put a different vowel on the end of the da word meaning fruit/day and pluralise it
Sprite h've been there tried that... no motion
I have one Da5/12 that is Da4/5, different last letter and then plural. The other is almost the same, but has a double consonant.
thanks haz - got that one I meant last one sorry for not expressing myself clearly
got it sprite *dankje wel*
And that one has a plural Da6 too, of course.
down to 9 c's
hmm Coit is a not a valid word???
Andy I'm beginning to get a teesy weesy bit jealous here only 9?
yes lucky but have been here for a while
So have I Andy nonstop! LOL
eeek, this one looks challenging today... maybe i'll sleep on it and then come back to it, otherwise i'll be up all night looking for my quota of 7 words ;)
sure why not?
Hey Andy are you practicing your Dutch??? Lets have it LOL
Lol phess... not that bad, really.
18 words between me and wifey...
you mean there's less than 7 words to find? :) excellent, then i only have 4 or less to go ;)
phess do not listen to sprite she is a grid wonderwoman
Kevin, better let your wife come in the first place then ;)
No wonders here, only stubbornness and pitbull mentality. But I just know phess can find a lot more than 7 :)
I always let her start on top... :))
Phess go for it!!!!
actually, the two i've found made me happy... one is a box of alcoholic beverages and the other is a deep-fried american "pastry". which reminds me, i missed dinner
How can you expect to be brilliant when you starve your brain? LOL So... eat. And find at least 10 more. You can do it.
DINNER???? I missed that and breakfast ... and still a slowpoke!
I rest my case :) Go eat, Lucky, brain and body need sustenance to help them through the grid.
Will do sprite if you'll clue!
phess go - you can do it down to 5 all c's
any clues for us5?
Clueless in Blaricum .... movie near you so7/48?
lucky if u got teh so 6/33 then a plural - if not let me know and I'll clue this word does not exist as per dictionary.com
us5 sounds like *ask*
thanks andy
oops, thanks lucky! :)
Andy clue me and you'll have made my day
eps it is latin find out Canadian coastguard motto (in Latin) and you'll see it
So7: loud women society at university.
lucky - with pleasure what u need?
And that was, of course, a brilliant clue for the So8. So7: vehicles for throwing seed at ground?
hahahaha that's a funny clue, sprite :)
Andy I need food and brains even so7 from spite does not fit if I understand her correctly can it be a teesey weesey bit easier??
I'm gonna turn in at 22....got an XP installation to finish...
BTW, so8/50 has more to do with resonance than hawt chix at a univeristy :) but it tipped me off :)
Andy brains grew fast sprites clue sunk in thanks sprite!
Bye Kevin! Say hi to the wife :) Lucky: no wonder my clue doesn't help. I gave clue for wrong word. See correction, lol.
Lucky - can't help with food and brain(but maybe with coffee as I am in A'dam next week) so 8/50 it is a female sisterhood at U's BUT it is misspelled third letter is wrong
cya KevinE
Andy come and have a drink or coffee or anything would be nice
It was meant as a cryptic clue :)
Hey! Let's have a dutch meeting then :) I live near Amsterdam.
Lets have a get together with sprite as well Are you in sprite?
will try lucky drop me an email pls @ andy12489@yahoo.com and will try
GREAT eine lekke biertje? (excuse my spelling pls)
Andy een lekker biertje coming up I'll mail you!
Thanks! Looking forward to it. As soon as I have hotel booked will let u know. A
there. 10. :) thanks for the tips. this one's kidna twisted. i didn't have nearly as much trouble with yesterday's
WTG phess! :)
I am in! My email is in my profile, just leave out the spaces. That should be fun :)
i'm horrible at this.
95 words done, phew!
perfect last 2 2 go can I lps ask for a clue for co 5/12 the one after misspelled singing c*** (sing/pural)_ and before italian for account (sing/pl) please?
no way, i only have 10 :P
Andy, same as account, change last letter.
Andy I just mailed you did you get it sprite your mail is coming up!
Great :)
any clues for so5?
got it lucky - nice email nick (I thought for a sec yuo were Ms. Wonka LOL) sprite THANKS 4 the clue - jsut sent u an email as well
eps - so 5 is In India, a mounted soldier.
and of course a plural
Andy my family started the chocolate factory in Weesp thats why
Sprite did you get it? My mail I mean?
I see. I do remember drinking your cocoa BTW as a kid
Andy hope you liked it!
of course!!
And I am at You have 0 word(s) left to find
Andy don't rub it in please LOL ! Congrats
Sprite, lucky - and all others - THANKS. See you all soon and will see Lucky Sprite (almsot likeLucky Strike LOL) in A'dam next week. Can't wait Will stick around for a few minuts to give clues
well done andy. i started around the same time as you on this game and still haven't got one out. hopefully this will be the one!
Andy is speechless folks What a bit of WONKA can do to a guy! LOL
Clues anyone?
Got both mails, thanks! I will really try to see you guys. This is fun :)
Andy of course ... did you think I could do without? so 5/18 so 6/30 so 6/33 and so 7/48 purrhaps???
ok lucky both so are in sing / plural
Sprite I am looking forward to it too I guess we have a lot in comon (hve read your profile)
so 6/33 - warning - this word does not exist as per dictionary.com consits of 2 words - to manually make dress + a vehicle so 7/48 is plural
Another clue for the so words would be vehicle for swine
so 5/18 - a horseman, especially in India. Or so + act of killing people on a large scale, a conflict so 6/30 is a plural
thanks Andy and Haz I am growing here!
woohoo got all the so's. thanks
anything else?
evilo congrats ... don't get too excited .. it might spook your wife
Andy do 5/14 and a biertje?
good idea Lucky - you know it is a favourite combination for my wife - seriously
Sorry Andy have do 5/14 meant to say co6/21 last!
trying to keep calm so i don't interrupt her tv viewing
OOPS Andy what do you do for Babble itching whilst in Amsterdam drinking beer???
I guess I will have to go through temp withdrawal LOL
Lucky, we can print the grids and bring them to him :)
Coaching nearby thanks to Sprite Andy... You'll both survive the Dutch take my word for it (since I'm not Dutch LOL)
Sprite you ARE a wonderwoman for I tried to print it and it did not work .. just a few scrap letters.
or maybe Dr. God will have a Palm version no?
A tool like SmartCapture should do the trick then.
Lucky: we'll get together somewhere easy to find and then go to Amsterdam together, if need be ;)
Sprite xcuse me?????
Sprite good idea I have a car but can only sit two (since my wheelchair is always in the back, need it only for long streches!)
I can pick you up or something?
Hello, everyone!!!! This is the closest I could get to my actual cat......
Sounds like a great idea :) I'll call you as soon as we know the date.
ok so when plannig let us plan time 2 options - I arrive morning April 5 (Tue) and so we could meet aft / evening - OR I am going back home via A'dam around 18 - not sure about teh date yet What is better for you ladies?
Sprite remember not on wednesday or thursdays please Hope that fits Andy and crowd?
so I hear April 5th late aft / evg is ok?
Good morning, movieman - this is my actual dog!
If I may choose would say 15th or 16th april is sunday or monday (Easter)
April 5th I have to work, so 18th would be better for me.
I will likely be comeing back afer Easter but do not have the date yet - shuld have it ni a day though QUESTION: Is Schiphol connected to subway so I can get to RAI? (I forgot, have not been there for 4 years).
I thought the 18th is a wednesday if so no can do sorry 15th or 16th or 17th okay!
so 17th then?
For me too!
ok then I hear 17th April
QUESTION: Is Schiphol connected to subway so I can get to RAI? (I forgot, have not been there for 4 years).
17th it is.
Andy yes you can take the train from schiphol to Amsterdam Central than take tram to Rai
ok cool i'm done! thanks for the clues everyone
Okay 17th April booked let me know further details
ok great thanks lucky I'll be in touch via email - douvbnt I'll babble much when I am on th road here till Saturday Nity nite all Lucky - any last minute clues?
Andy ... can't miss your clues wo 5/20?
Lucky - dio you have wo 4/9 - if so it is a plural if not it is like a young frog - just change first letter
Thanks Andy .... am looking forward to get together is it known if other babblers have done such a thing internationally?
Lucky I wish I knew - I am here for 8 days only
ok good night all Lucky Sprite see you 17th near Schiphol and will be in touch
Nite Andy ... have a good flight to Europe!
Good noon, dear babblers! please tell me grid is nicer than yesterday's - that was the first time i didn't enjoy playing, and i don't particularly want to repeat the experience!
Amanda brace yourself and get a drink!
oh dear! well, coffee's ready, at least - here goes!
only got 28 but i hope thats not to bad for first day. I even got that pro thing :p night all GL.
amandacath - this grid is harder than yesterday's in that you can't really get any sequences of words going. But it is do-able.
Bye arisha - you'll get better results the more you try. Welcome to babble.
so i'm assuming there are more than the 24 words I've found so far...
95 words today.
95 looks manageable - strange how some sequences turn up day after day
I know - the moral for today is to try vowels on the ends of words, even when you don't think them possible.
hiya everyone!!!!!!!!
hey how many words are there in total?
95 words toady!
Hello bex - not at school?
95! wow thats a change compared to the 100's we've been seeing lately..
I won't feel to bad being stuck at 36 then :S
manjub - there have been grids with over 300 words before now. We're about due a huge one soon.
this is a toughie
ya looks like it..
nu 6/21 anyone??
same as no 6/18, just change a letter
evilo I do not have no 6/18 yet any clues ??
no + letter + past tense of eat
hey Mike... have you got the no clue yet?
last 3 letters are an anagram of eat
TY Evil!
yw lucky
no6 /18 - doodles on books
these clues are great thanks all
yeah, I know. nice clue. Babblers- it was Mike's birthday on Saturday! Happy Birthday Michaelden!
hi haz i was on sudoku missed your message. school is not on today as the kitchen people caretakers and cleaners are on strike
Thanks Bimini
my friend and i worked together, got 80!
has anyone an understandable clue for the ar 6/24 and ca 6/30 so far did not get them
That explains it bex - sorry to be slow in answering. I'm trying to figure out how to do a complicated medicine label thing.
ar 6 - a plus first name of cowboy Rogers, then shortened version of opposite of Old Testament
The ca 6/30 uses the qu in it. It sounds like what you keep wine in and is the same structure of word as a region of Spain which wanted to be independent.
Haz that was most understandable thanks!
You're welcome, lucky.
im stuck on that ar clue
Went to Spain and back... on the double .... thanks Haz!
great clues haz. thanks
Okay - I'll try a different version. A plus man's name (Evans of Liverpool, Keane formerly Man Utd) then the missing letters in 'no e**ry'
thanks!! i got it that time i had the right name but the wrong ending
we got stuck at 93 here :P
Good, bex, glad it worked.
oc 5/14 and oc 6/24 anyone?
DCGrendel - only 2 more to go!
well, 52 with help from the log - don't have much time today so I'm cheating to the list - hope there's one up!
got em all !
DC Good for you since your done do you have a clue for the co 6/21 and co 5/12 2nd, third, and last!
Well done! And amanda, you're not cheating. Using the list and any other resource is perfectly acceptable and a lot more efficient when you have limited time (or patience)!
anyone --- please help! NO 5
where do I find the magical lists?
Haz: co + 4 letter abbreviation for microsoft's "New Technology" <blank> system
i appologize if that was too easy of a hint.
Cheers DCGrendal
cheating is in the eye of the beholder, i suppose. It's just that once i have the 2-letter lists (AngelSong's page in Friends of Babble box, michael) it's almost impossible NOT to find the words
thanks amandaCath - I was wondering how everone knew what the second letter was
Grim-Bigyen: Plural of "Suggestive of danger or violence" or "A genre of crime literature featuring tough, cynical characters and bleak settings."
I tried to use that word yesterday or the day before and it wouldn't let me!
Done! Off to dry hair, get dressed and enjoy the sunshine!
any hints for co 5's and co 6's? i have the one meaning short story
Evil - Sorry I haven't entered my first word yet. Just sat down to get started. But Good Morning:)
hi faeriekae. good luck. some strange words as always!!
Thanks Evil - just looking it over right now. I have an appt in 2hrs wondering if I can get it done in that amount of time..What do you think?
its taken me longer than 2 hours, but i only started babbling last week, but i'm sure you can get a lot done in 2 hrs
Actually I've never finised one of these grids in 2hrs. not even the little bity teeny tiny ones....LOL guess I'll just dive in and get started and finish later. I left yesterday with 4 words to go. I couldn't take anymore.
i have never finished one either, but i only need 5 co words to do it. its 10pm here now so hopefully won't take too much longer!
Hi, faerie!
It is 7:00am here. Isn't that wild..
Good Morning Haz :)
its tues night here and today was a good day here, so hopefully tuesday is a good day there too... bit confusing that.
For the co's - change the vowel on the ending of the short story to give you an Italian word, then pluralise. For some of the others, think of a small house, take out the g (that gives you the 6 then remove the latin plural ending)
Evil-Yes, a bit confusing. Glad you had a nice day. You will find the co's your looking for. Go look in A to Z if you have to. I do.
Faerie - your dog looks lovely!
Haz - so does yours. What beautiful eyes...Is it a Spanial? Mine is my Shih-Tzu.
Spangle is a Welsh Springer Spaniel. She looks mournful in this picture but she is a very merry dog.
Haz how about the ar 6/24 please?
She is so pretty. Those eyes would melt anyones heart.
ar 6/24 - a plus man's name (Mr Rogers of cowboy fame) then shortened version of New Testament
haz, sensational clues. thanks. I have finished my first one ever. Woohoo
Well done!!!
Good morning/afternoon everyone :) faerie... I was about to ask if that was a Shih Tzu... I love that breed!
Hello everyone. It's a beautiful day here in Vermont 8)
[[[[CONGRATULATIONS EVIL]]]] *~*~*~*boom*~*~*~*
Haz - your dog has the sweetest face!
Hi gramma and macuser.
good morning gramma :)
Anyone for no 4/4 (last)
Good Morning Mascuser and Gramma :)
She is lovely, isn't she? She gets away with murder, just about!
The last no 4/4 can be written or played in music.
lucky do you mean as in a musical no 4/4
Here's a pic of my spoiled kitty :)
morning peeps
mine and mac's are very similar :)
The US brigade is arriving in numbers! Hi, Capone!
Mascus-Beautiful Kitty...Name should be smokey or something like that. *teehee* Hi Capone
lol, good morning hurshy... I think our cats are twins ;)
FAERIE!
hiya! does anyone no what the 8 letter word starts with?
faerie... his name is Bongo, heh
actually mac, it was funny, the rest of cinder's litter looked nothing like her, they all looked the same as each other except for her, the runt
so8
CAPONE!!! Toes is coming home today right?
the runts are the best of the litter... imho
evil and Haz got the no4/4! Now for the do 5/14?
Good Morning Hurshy - your kitty is also beautiful.
ty faerie
Sorry make that do 4/5 (last) pleese
She got back Sunday. Back to work today so she should be on. Haven't seen her tho...been laid up w/a bad ankle for 3 weeks now.
great lucky. do + ***s and bolts
Capone-Really what happened to your ankel? Glad Toes made it back home. Sorry she has to go back to work :(
oops. do + what you place a golf ball on
Gout most likely. Lot of sleepless nights lately....it sucks.
Capone-Sorry to hear that - I've heard that gout is very painful. I don't ever want to find out. Take good care and stay off your feet as much as possible. Dr. Faerie here lol. Really I'm glad to see you with us today.
last co5 (hoping the 6 is pl)?
hurshy, see hint from has at 6.02 (yes 6 is plural)
ty mr. palindrome :)
oops hurshy. its not plural. you add another vowel
evil, that is pl, just latin. um, nu6?
Thanks Faerie, its been a rough ride. I've had touches of it in my toe before, but this one started in ankle, moved to toe then back to ankle. some days I can barely notice it and some days its like HELLO! I'm here, remember me you fat f*@$?!
ahh. latins not my strongest point!! nu 6 has same last 4 letters as no 6
Capone-Have you been to the doctor this time? If not you know you really should. Nothing to fool around with.
easy enough, thanks evil!
I can't get the stuped "aw" :(
faerie, it's a+we5
wa 4/10 is too dificult, pleese help anyone???
Yea I went in last Thursday. He gave me some anti-inflams and reffered me to get a uric acid test. But, seeing as how they want to stick a needle in my ankle.....
thank you so much hurshey...I've looking for ever.
lucky, if someone tells you to be wa 4/10 it means be careful, watch out
wa 4/10 - watchful, on guard
bye everyone. i'm off to bed. good luck
must go get my shower. I really need to wake up. I'll be back to finish. Evil-Congratulations once again. Now your really hooked :)
Good Nite Evil :)
want some company Faerie? ;)
morning. note to gramma - beautiful day in New Hampshire too!
Thanks Capone but I think I can handle it alone. lol
Beautiful cat, cliffopa!
k, just checking.
I should have checked in before I left for work, all pics of my cat are on my imac at home. 8(
that's Casper, my old guy. he isn't doing too well right now so i'm trying to draw some good thoughts from any animal lovers.
*sends good thoughts to Casper*
How old is he?
thanks. he is 16 (or 90+ in cat years as the vet tells me)
Afternoon all
wow! 16! It's tough when they get old - kinda like us humans ;)
he's doing better than i will be doing at 90!
lol, I hear that, cliffopa! Personally, I hope I never see 90 ;)
so 6/33? (again hoping 7 is pl)
so 6/33 is a vehicle for pigs - or that's what it looks like.
thanks haz!
great clue haz
Excellent clue! Thanks Haz :)
you're all welcome!
haz the clue for wa 4/10 I did not understand and a2z doesn't help either.... I'm stuck once more Pleese help out????
us5? i can't make the points work.
You need to put the sometimes vowel on the end of the 3 letter word to do with battles. Look at the numbers needed.
wa 4/10, similar to what you do with clothes
Hurshy - don't forget the double letter tile.
sorry, my clue totally makes no sense.... sounds like what you do with clothes, except exchange the e with an a and..... i'll stfu now
haz - thanks, i remembered it, but forgot it was 2 letters so was trying to really get 6 letters 9 points
well, that's me done
Lucky - if you're still struggling and we5/22 - take out the e.
wa 4/10 Capone I know what you do with clothes but still do not get it ... must be getting reeeeeeally tired now pleese be patient with me!?
Lucky - we5/22 means tired (as you are now). Take the e away and you are left with the wa4/10
wa/4 black sabbath song wa* pigs plus the sometimes vowel
Tiped wa 4/10 in a thousand times and it did not validate untill now.... what is happening?
and I probably just broke a rule there.
But it has now?
Hi all. Lucky - it's an anagram of 'awry'.
got it folks thank you all!
Only o's c's and s's now
oc 5/14 and oc 6/24 please?
Great, lucky! Jacula, hello. I have to go now as I have to tackle a mail merged letter to dairy farmers about mastitis. The fun never stops around here!
HAZ will you be back later???
I just found my last word by silly typing. I tried a bit of Jonathan Ross speak for we6/30 and it worked.:-) I'm finished now.
Haz, that job must really get on your......<stop it - don;t do it - that comment is far too obvious>
Jacula can you stay to clue?
Lucky - I have to go for about 20 mins but I can come back to clue over lunch before I go and muck out rabbit & guinea pig hutches.
Haz - Have fun. 8-/
okay see u later then bye
There's got to be more than one word that uses the Qu.
theres no Qu's
i found two . . . .
I found one Squ--.
OC 5/14 OC 6/24 OC 5/12...... STARK RAVING MAD THEY MAKE ME! Can anyone call for help????
yeah theres an sq but no Qu only one sq
and the us word uses the qu
Shorty there are words with the qu in them of course!
oc5/12 eight people singing
seven swans a swimming
Macuser I don't believe that I have missed that one too obvious for words thanks!
lol, capone
oc5/14 - add the start of the name for what turns into a frog pluralise for oc6/24 oc 5 - add the start of ta4/4 (the sugar people)
6 geese a laying
You're welcome, Lucky :) Glad it helped!
5 faeries flyin
Hi..I'm back. I ran off right after I said hello I ran outside. One of the horses was down and I had some trouble getting him up. He looks better right now. I'm going to be back and forth for awhile.
ahh gramma why was he down?
aww, poor horsie :( Hope everyting is okay, gramma
gramma - love the chia pet
He's not wintered well. Quite old and I was afraid of colic. But, I can hear stomach noises and he's still up; so, I'll watch and see a bit.
I'm back. I've got about an hour before my appt. so I'm diving in. \splash/
hi faerie
Haz if I think what you mean the P (what turns into a frog ) is not in the grid!... Must be off track again sorry.
{{{{{faerie}}}}}
Chia pets are the best pets to have. You don't get so attached 8)

OK, I click the ? next to the us and it shows a dictionary.com page with no definition, redirecting me to other similar words. What's up with that?

it seems a lot harder then usual, have only just started todays game and usualy have a lot more words then this by now
Angel - I'm sure that I'll be at it for awhile lol. lots of strange words.

Hey guys, help me color the "C" box. CA6 is alluding me. Help please???
aww Une, that's great! Rescued pets are the best!
Bye Cliff
i did adopt a pet, but after a week he turned against me and went vicious
She was to be euthanized the day she was whisked off to "Happy Tales Humane"! And this is her big sister, Shelby, also previously a shelter dog. :)
my 2 cats are rescue pets
I rescued my kitty off death row, too
DONE...anyone need a clue?
Ouwatchita, ca6 please.
Congrats, Ouwachita! :)

Gramma - not sure how to help with the ca 6 but ca + go straight over to left column 5pt lettes + 2nd vowel.
hey, faerie, how's your page today?
ca6...is a helmet...it uses the 2 letter tile
Well Done Ouwachita !!
karys and macuser, your babies are so sweet--kudos to you for rescuing them!
All done - clues available for a while
ar is a plus *** rogers ( the cowboy) plus abbr. for the book after the old testament

The French black is here again plus the plural
thunderstorm here today. I love rain.
sunny day here and above freezing...like is good...lol
DA 6 ?? please don't tell me it's the plural of the one above it (I don't have that either)^_^

bye, jen, congrats!
cllues for the 8?
hi guys! :D diddy grid today? is it as easy as it looks?? ooh! I just heard thunder! should I power down? : /
change one letter in the opposite of "fraternity"
so8 sounds like what girls join in college... change the first consonant
hey, babbler, who's your pretty buddy?
Hi Babbler... what a fine-looking puppy :)
hi macuser, uneaixoise, angel, karys, gramma, faerie, ouwa, *looks around* : D sad to say I don't own a pet, so this is just an image from google. But if I could have a pet, I'd have a black labrador, like this one!
Babbler, I'll share my pet w/you 8)
gramma, where are you in Vermont? I am in Rutland.
spellit, Jen, Lucky!! didn't open my eyes looking at the chat log, did I?? lol!! :D hiya
hello there Babbler....bet it would just suit you if you did have one :)
heya, Babs!
*sigh* If I had a garden, I'd have a dog.... :' /
Gail, I'm in Cornwall
thanks gramma! errr.... what's your pet? looks like carrots or something... ?? :s
I'm back - thank goodness for mail merge. Lucky, how are you doing?
Carrots??? Put your glasses on, Babbler! It's a Ch-ch-ch- chia.
Prettier country where you are, gramma, but spring is in the air.
Gail. there's another player from Montpelier. Her name is Eva.
mike, you here? how are you doing with today's puzzle?
ahhh, just googled chia pets. I wasn't too far off the mark.... ;D lol
Two of us in our office babble every day.
Off the mark by a mile, I'd say. My poor little piggy pot has feelings too.
no hi for me babbler?
hi capone!! (soz, I think I need to give my glasses a clean, lol!!) :D
lol gramma!! :D
Gail, that's good to know. Other babblers get together or talk about having a gathering. I was always jealous of them. Now I know there are 4 of us in Vermont. What a party we could have, huh?
gramma - you should organise a canadian babble convention! I'm pulling one together in London, UK as Artlady is coming to visit in June. :D
Good morning! (I'm willing to drive to Vermont, need a vacation!)
/bow Babbler I was just being me...lol
Babbler, I do love Canada and I have a son in Montreal. But Vermont is actually south of there in the U.S.of A
hi bunny!! : ) I just thought - Vermont is in USA, not Canada?? what's wrong with my brain today? : /
bunnyvi, that's great!
Vermont, it's kind of like near Maine?? New England-ish?
Babbler, there is a Cornwall in Canada, you're not farr off base. People think Vt. is just a suburb of NYC. but we're a whole state, unto ourselves. Very rural and quite lovely.
does anyone no what integer means i am trying to do my maths homework
integer is another word for number, as far as I know
Whispers to Babbler.....don't tell anyone about us, we don't need any more newbies in this state...sssshhh it's a secret
*whispers* ok, your secret's safe with me!! ;D
I'm a noob, I'll leave. You should kick TSM for turning me on, to this game
Well, I am a flatlander from Chicago, moved here in 1987.
Done! Anyone need a clue before I scurry off?
Gail, no way! My daughter is trying to get a job in Chicago.
done! Enjoy the rest of the day/night, fellow babblers!
bex an integer is a a whole number like 1 or 7 but not fractions or decimals
bumper, you lurking?
macuser, how about so5/18?
I love Vermont, but I miss Chicago. It's a great city. My daughter lives in Boston, though, so I go there a lot.
gramma so + what it's called when two countries go to battle
Chicago is a great town. What does your daughter do?
Thanks, macuser.
You're welcome, gramma :) Gotta go now... happy babbling everyone!
She is a librarian at MIT.
Bye, macuser. See you on the flip :}
Gail, she's a librarian? I don't think they even use the Dewey Decimal system any more , do they?
Need kiddo advice, my three year old has a BAAAAD upset tummy in the south end, I have : Pepto, Malox and Anti-Nausea medicine. There's no way we are going to the store...will any of those help?
They do in public libraries, but not in academic libraries like MIT.
bunny..try some sprite
I m here Praes
Have none, have suppositories, phengren.... but I think they are for vomiting?
bunny, try clear liquids, no milk or milk products; also check out the BRAT diet until the seige passes. You could also try this: if you have Jello, mix it just as though you were going to chill it, but don't. let it cool a bit, then give it to your child to drink, in liquid form.
Hooked on a feeling? Bumper?
You must be very proud of her to work in such a prestigious school. I would also feel like she was in a safe enviroment. That's great.
Angelsong, you're dead on w/that advice.
bunny: important is to ensure the child gets enough fluids to help prevent dehydration.
what does that mean
OK, never heard of BRAT, have all but bananas. Will try the jello too! Thanks! Hopefully it passes soon! back later.
I am, she and I are still paying off all the college bills for her education. She always has some funny stories to tell when we get together. Brilliant people are not always smart, when it comes to common sense.
i got you hooked on babble. How far in are you 2 day?
11 words
Yay for librarians! (I'm a librarian too..) And Hi Everyone :)
just started.....6
We have Middlebury College here. Supposed to be the creme de la creme, I know exactly what she means about the not so smart brilliant ones.
Who's talking about librarians? I'm one too! explains why everyone on this website is so smart
gramma, I learned that advice when I was bringing up my two kids. They always did fine with it; if not, off to the doctor they went.
this one is hard
BRB
it appears that brilliant people often lack common sense... : ) mornin' all!!
Yay for Sidra too :) Working in libraries does give you some great stories...
Hi EB :)
Librarians are the best! I love reading and would be lost without our library.
I just got back from the Public Library association conference- a comic book guy in one workshop was talking about how all librarians were goody-two-shoes- I was so mad!
whatcha doin praes
(( EB !! )) I'm just over in sudoku, hun. :D
the usual, flipping between babble and work u?
That's ridiculous, librarians are real people like anybody else.
Librarians rule! That whole librarian image gets me, too Sidra. Did you ever see the Bacardi ad that shows a girl in a slinky outfit with a tattoo - caption is "Librarian by day, Bacardi by night" ? I have it framed in my basement!
trying to find more words i m not doing so well
I have a co4/7 that ends in the sometimes vowel. Any clues for the co4/7 just before or after it?
Bugsy, I haven't seen that ad, but I do have a honda ad that says, "the automotive equivalent of a really hot librarian"
My librarian daughter has three tattoos...
ah - work beckons...I'll be back later.... bye folks!!
Amen, Sidra and Gail :) And Angel - I have 2 co4/7s that end in the sometimes vowel - different 3rd letter
Angel...co 4/7 sounds like a small horse
See ya EB!
The other co4/7 is like Mr. Haim or Mr. Feldman
thanks Bugzy. I was tripping over that word and didn't see it.
Is this only for babbler pros?
no pro here
no, bilmster. anyone can play, pro or not.
i love ya babe gotta go work out
hi all. How many words today?
only 95 words today, Ambi.
That guy must not know any librarians! All the one I know are crazy (in a good way ;) So FAR from boring...
thanks!
Amen, BaronPuffPants too :) (And BTW, love that name!)
you cannot spend as much time around books and people as librarians do and not be cool. it's impossible.
Here's a quote from the Librarian Avengers website: "Librarians are all-knowing and all-seeing. They bring order to chaos. They bring wisdom and culture to the masses. They preserve every aspect of human knowledge. Librarians rule. And they will kick the crap out of anyone who says otherwise."
Ha! I like that quote. And it is true, too. All finished, time to do some work. I work for a psychiatrist, so she understands that Babble is a good form of therapy for me.
Yay for Gail!
I'm back. Just in time to say goodbye to my fellow Vermonter
Pat, if you are out there, I hope you are feeling better. I miss babbling with you today.
I'm missing one word 8( AW****? Help, please.
AW - archaic form of physically and mentally fatigued
is it animal theme today? Morning all babbleland!!
It makes sense that librarians would love Babble. I've only discovered it three or four days ago and already my boyfriend says I have a problem...and I should get back to work...
TY. I'm finished!!!
Before I go back out to that horse, clues anyone?
Yay for gramma! We can all quit Babble anytime we want, Sidra. Just keep telling yourself that!!
Sidra, it's not a problem...the outside world is the problem...really it' ok...you can always get a new boyfriend. Actually, you won't need one when you have Babble.
YAY Gramma! just got here, good morning all!
Howdy, stidmama!
Hello stidmama!
Well, I'm off....heading to Iowa for my Mother-in-law's 80th birthday. See you guys next week.
Bye gramma - have a good trip :)
bunnyvicious... just saw the note about the 3 year old, is she doing better? For me, black tea (decaf works too) is always the answer... the tannins in it tend to get things solidified. The trick is to not put in a lot of sugar as sometimes the sugar makes things worse.
So whats going on today?
I'm back and ready to finish this thing.
Apparently not much, hillobeans! :)
Hi Faeriekay.
Hi.
Hello Vicuna. Kind of quiet here today.
Mornin' fairiekae, you are you feeling today?
Nobody here but us letters...
Hi hillobeans, faerie, vicuna ... Stepped away for a mo' :)
Hi Bugzy :)
these co's are killing me.
faerie, what's happening? you finish your therapy?
I haven't even got to the point of figuring out what it is that's killing me!
I will give you the co's Faeriekae what do you need?
Angel-Yes, back home and going to hit this grid for a few minutes before I go outside. It is so nice out today It is supose to be up in the low 50's so I can clean out some of my flowers gardens.
Hillobeans - thanks I'm down to the last one the co 6/21
Low 50s is cold. Bur
I need the middle two to's.
low 50's is the best I've seen so far this year so I'll take it. It is much better than the 30's we've had for the last month.
Ok. my next message will contain the word so don't get mad.
it was in the 80's in January here.
Angel-Wish I could help - but I only have 22 words at this point . LOL. No t's at all.
LOL, me to Faerie.
the only tos I have are the warty things that turn into princes. I have one, and I have several.
Faerie - it's supposed to hit 60 tomorrow. Bring out the bathing suit!! LOL
Angel-I need to come and visit you. I'm a summer chick for sure.
Capone - I'm really slow today......
and a warty thingie - the 1st vowel
24 words now thx for the clue stid
to's- I have the plural of Mrs. Lincoln's maiden name, and my husband's name (means expensive or opulent)
I am too Faerie. Trying to balance work, babble, pain and heartbreak.
Bugzy-I've got my swimsuit out. Ready. LOL
Angel, regards the to's ... I have the following: relative to green amphibian (and then plural) ... drop the first vowel from the to5/12 for another to
I love summer also, Faerie. Cold makes my muscles hurt, and it's harder to move around. CP is funny like that. I used to think it was all in my imagination, then a therapist assured me it isn't.
oh, and the final to I have is the Broadway award.
Capone- aweee whats up with the heartbreak??
Oh, nothing.
come on Capone you can talk to me remember I'm your fav SBB :)
lol, yes you are.
made you smile (*^_^*)
8*(****
there is the to** awards (with the sometimes letter), to**, like the word for small kids, but with a d.
It's ok Capone....She still loves you.
Who?
TSM
LOL, I wasn't heartbroken over her.
remember your little sock monkey.
What are heartbroken over then?
I'm heartbroken over the fact it's only 11:00 am on Tuesday.
LOL - you are my fav SBB.
Hi all.........
morning cait
Hi Caitlyn :)
Hi Caitlyn :)
Greetings, all... how goes it today?
Hi Jera - this grid is a killer for being so small.
jera your pet is a fairy????
How many total words?
95 words
Hi Jera :) It's a little one today, but a toughie
I just uploaded our new pet... His name is "Lucky" 'cause we rescued him. He's pretty, and poetry in motion, now that he's healthy.
Stid-how nice. Looks like a good watch dog.
Awww.. he's beautiful Stidmama. And good for you for rescuing him. We rescued our girl beagle, and she's been a great family member :)
stid he looks a real cutey
Ok - I need to get outside and get some work done. I can't stay in with it being such a nice day. I'll be back a little later to finish. Bye all.
I'm baaaaaaaack!
I lost all my scanned pics of my cat when my puter crashed last year.
Actually, he's pretty quiet. It's the one the size of a cat that tells me when someone's coming! Though I have to admit, one good growl from the big one and I think King Kong would stand down.
B some S Faerie!
Speaking of a SBB...
Bye Faerie - enjoy the day - it's raining down here :(
{{{{Toes}}}} Hi....Welcome home....
hey tsm!!!
(((( all ))))
Shhhh, guys, don't let TSM catch on to what we said about her earlier. I wouldn't want Fareie to get in trouble.
Welcome back toes! Hi everyone. Brb to play. have a sick child home today.
I'm really going now. Capone behave yourself the best you can. LOL
This pic isn'tmy boy beagle - looks a lot like him, though - all my pics of my dogs are too dark or too small to show up on an icon !
I just reread it all
Later faerie! :) Hey MM!
Hi Toes, Kissmy, Musicmom :)
Hi TSM hows the bump?
did anyone pick up my to-clues at 10:02?
LOVE all the puppy dogs today! Wish I could show mine :( Are the pics of your dogs? They're all so cute...
Inge-- Just got here. . . what were they?
The teen who's home sick just inquired, "Mom! Are you obsessed with that thing? Mom! Mom! Can I play on Dad's computer?" [sigh] It runs in the family...
hey bugzy
Hey bugsy, kissmy :)
i have a 6 mo old pug, but these piccs are not of him... :(
Hey cait! Goooood larger I think :)
Capone, how is your bump? ;)
Oh, pugs are so cute!! My mom's neighbor has one. Those little tails!!
TSM, is that your favorite pick for a dress? It's gorgeous!
Prob full of Florida grapefruit eh TSM.
clues for the to-words: one frog, two frogs, ****awards (with sometime vowel) word for young children with final d instead of t,
My dog is really old now nearly 17
My bump is fine, for now.
Got 'em. Any other clues anyone wants to share?
refresh for new icon :)
I could use the nu 6/21
Wow, cait, 17? What breed is he?
Ahhh, tsm -- LOL. That's definitely not a prospective dress or any other kind.
Hi is a cross labrador and unknown father!!!!!!
Very cute, cait, and that's so cool that he's lived so long!
nu 6/21: what squirrels did with their specific food, reverse the grammar and run it together.
=o) hehe
Capone - email :)
Never mind, I figured out nu 6 at long last
This isn't him, but it looks kinda like him... he's a brown tabby...
I'm back. Sorry about that. how is everyone?
A clue for the nu, inge?
Jera, pretty cat! hi musicmom!
Hi musicmom
Hi Stid.
Hi cait!

Thanks MM... yes same here. I am still in the Florida spirit after my vacation is all :)
lol awww me, capone?
did you have a good time?
thats not you in my icon TSM, thats pedro...
what? I swear it still says TSM for me....
email babe :)
Your eyes must be bad from all the sun.
Bugzy, just saw your question. cf no 6/18, sounds alike
TY inge. Weird word...
What's the web site that has clues on it?
lickety's babble clues linked on the right has clues
there is a link to it from Angelsongs page at the right.
tmcs go to angelsongs page on the right of screen lots of links from there
I missed that Baron - it must be new.
There are fish in the gird today - good good.
huh?
duh grid
There is a rabbit as well!!!
I hadn't found that yet cait. Great!
Capone - email again love
Capone are you coming with me to the doctor later today after work? Maybe we can get something to eat after words
Not to mention those green amphibians!
Good thing what they give you isn't there.
Nah TSM, I have plans
Well my ultrasounds is at 7pm because I thought you were going to go...
So close, though, MM :)
C'mon babe, you know how I feel about doctors. Ick! I've seen enough of docs for this year.
Yup!
Get ready ladies and germs, I have a feeling I'm in teh dog house. Maybe someone can put my pic up for their icon.
Well its not a doctor doctor... just an ultrashound tech.... :) please babe?
Maybe, I'll call you in a few.
ok hun
Do you ever get out of the dog house Capone?<G>
FYI, I don't even like taking my cats to the vet, so It's not that I'm bailing on her.
Its that sterile smell..makes me sick.
Okay, refresh to see my sweet boy...
capone you will see a magical thing.......your baby!!!!!!!
plz giv me sum words
Gotta go folks, I have a VIP lunch date...
Bye Bugsy!
ra5? I'm running out of time, and have 2 words left.
Lucky Bugzy have fun
capone, I usually don't ever give unasked for input, but in this case I have to agree with caitlyn... the ultrasound test isn't like a regular doctor's office, and you will miss the opportunity of a lifetime. Truly.
My son's school is having the kindergarteners stay for lunch today to practice for next year... and the parents get to come today. Chicken nuggets & tater tots never sounded so good! BBL :)
TSM - are you able to have the 3D ultrasound. Very cool! I wish I were closer - I'd go with you. Nothing like seeing that baby on the screen or hearing the heartbeat.
Finished!!! found both of the words I needed :)
Well done angelsong
TSM - put some of your perfume on Cap's hankie - he can hold it over his nose.
And (unsolicited) I agree with ch1212 and MM - an ultrasound is one of the coolest things ever!! Not something to miss... See Ya
u losers giv me sum words
... not to mention the incredible pre-birth bonding that takes place between the parents when they are both present!
or chloroform... oh, hi folks :)
DOOODTTTT DOOOOTTTT Angel!!!!
ra; like the animal with masked face, drop an o.
ive got 20 kids
YAY Angelsong!
Damn you TSM....you HAD to throw this out there....now I feel like an asshole.
I AVE 20 KIDS
Hey ella, I <beep> your mother last night, worst piece of <beep> I ever had. She still owes me $50 tho...tell the <beep> to pay up.
LOL Leslieann. Hi!
I AVE 20 KIDS
Oh, capone, don't feel bad. Whatever decision you make is ultimately yours, and I'm sure everyone will respect that. I think we're all just rooting for you, TSM, and little toesock.
Oh wait, we AREN'T supposed to feed the trolls are we? Sorry ella, but tell that <beep> of a <beep> mother of yours I said hello nonetheless.
hi every1 i ave 20 kids
im nt a troll u s h i t e d
oh that's so cute... little toesock. can we call the baby that from now on?
And you also <beep> <beep>, so whats your point?
Capone, it's not her fault: women naturally want to share their experiences. We experienced mothers know how she feels... And the ultrasound can be really cool, especially if the baby is "awake"! On the other hand, I dislike doctor visits too -- maybe it's possible to get a copy of the videotape or images they will take? We did.
Capone - beware the trolls. Maybe they'll get bored and starved if we don't feed them.
I AVE 20 KIDS ANY1 WANNA NO DER NAMES?
No they won't, trust me.... <----- former troll
ANY1 WANNA NO ME 20 KIDS NAMES?
aw6?
Finished! Anyone need a clue before I head out?
A troll with a gem for a belly button :)
yay ch!
YAY ch1212! I am stuck on the middle two ocs...
Congrats CH!
leslieann, aw6 = a + w5/22
clue for the 8 please? :)
hmmm... thanks ch, doubting the wordiness of that one
middle to oc's = oc + abbreviated beginning of a frog, then plural :)
heya all
Thanks CH
TSM, the 8 has had some interesting clues (none of which I got) earlier in the log. How about... take what submarines 'ping' on the bottom to see where they are, change the second vowel to 4th vowel, then add the vowel for 'me', a beverage, and the sometimes vowel.... is that too strange a clue?
WOW Ch - that was great!
hello everyone
Thanks ch1212
Wow that is odd clue but let me see what I can get out of it
hello
Hi
Hey :)
any clues for the first 3 un's?
Careful TSM.
I'm afraid we have a plethora of Under the Bridge creatures the past few days... I hope they don't decide to move in permanently. Well all, enjoy your babbling! See you tomorrow.
oh boy this is hard... .for me lol :)
musicmom are you thinking on the same wavelength?
Good afternoon from Kentucky everybody! I just arrived, had accidently found the so 8/50... how about: opposite of campus fraternity with third letter changed to another consonant? That help?
i got the eight. The clue helped but its a doozy!
Yes Cait. I believe we are.
un 5/18: un + male child but change the consonant to the one before
thanks ch1212! ttfn!
Hi peester
ty peester!
peester! WOW! That was "clear as a bell" --- thanks.
Hi Peester - bye TSM.
stidmama got it ty
Hi stidmama, temple, everyone. I just checked back in the log a bit... looks like it's time I went pro to be sure not ever to be mistaken for a troll, lol!
Hehee. peester. I don't think we would confuse you now, but go pro anyway. it's great!
w 5/22?
I am not leaving MM
The other two uns are a little black-capped bird, with the initial consonant removed. un + short form of business word, like "Sears, Roebuck & **"; then plural
MM don't make me leave!! lol
Hey ToeSockMonkey. Can I get with you? I love prego <beep>es!
to - I'm w5 (sick and tired) of all the stupid trolls.
Temple - think tired
temple plural of 4/9
Oh Ooops sorry I thought you were leaving. You were saying bye to someone else. (((((TSM))))
tyvm musicmom, this can be a tough crowd! btw capone, I relate to your sense of humor -- nothing like a smarta** with a good vocabulary ( my father used to say that about me!)
hello everyone:)
Is that really you in capones picture ToeSockMonkey? Very sexy. I'd hit it hard.
Hi Cnan.
hi cybernan
Hi nan :-) trolls are back... :-(
Hi cnan
is there anyway we can block certain users comments?
ToeSockMonkey. I want to <beep> you and I never want to <beep> anyone. Email me sometime lets get together.
hillo yes that is me and what do you mean by that last comment????
hello great clues, stid!
Praes - unfortunately I don't know of any.
omg hillo stop!
stidmama thanks again run the bird one by me once more ?
YW harpjane, good morning!
I think he wants to <beep> you. Maybe its Roht?
Hi Harp - cute puppies.
tsm, ignore, ignore, ignore. it's a "tried and true troll trouncing technique."
the first un is written exactly like the name of a little bird here in Washington, with the initial consonant (j) removed. You could also think of this word as the last un with a different consonant...
Dr_God emailed
thanks snowyowl!
Hi Snowy!
Thanks mm. They're not mine. I have cats, and no digital photos....so I just found a picture on the Internet...
Those are our kittens in my icon but you can't really see them very well.
hi snowy!
you're icon is a coffeepot? Shall I refresh?
Yes Harp that is a few days old:-)
ty stidmama!
was anyone else having trouble logging on? i couldn't get the site to work for about 10 minutes
Leslieann - I haven't had that trouble today but some times it is really slow taking my words.
nu 6/21?
i was trying to type in ir 5/14. maybe it was trying to teach me a lesson
C- similar to the no6. Change that initial vowel.

You lucky thing !! The schools were out here also
us 5/18 uses the qu too
only off for one day!!!back tomorrow:(
I don't have it c-nan. I need to go for a little. Be back later.
us 5/18 is the gaelic word for whiskey.
what kind of a strike is that??
we 6/30 is like a person who has a speech impediment trying to say the r word for "intelligence"
we 6/30 reminds of elmer fudd
un 5/18?
Wow our power just went out here right after my last post
Leslie its not the teachers its the dinner ladies etc All council workers were out today
Great clue for the 8, peester -- thanks.
morning kids. wow, it seems as though the chat turned a little raunchy this morning...

Hey boreetos... yeah what the heck is up with that dude huh???!!!
Your lights went out a long time ago TSM.
I wasnt mad but I was shocked and a little discusted later MM
hi boreetos I was worrying about you TSM
co 6/21: plural of the co 5 before it (latin with + opp. fro)
yeah tsm, I wouldn't have thought that an online word game would attract that sort.
mine too, capone...now i need a clue for the r word for intelligence!!!!
Capone! =o( Your bogus!
Oh - yeah that tooo. I meant at me for telling you bye when you weren't leaving.<g> See you later.
boreetos, your chocolate today :) mmmmm
still looking for un 5/18-- please?
You momma TSM.
Maybe we should agree to always tell trolls that we are 8 year old boys, when they ask personal questions....
I'm going to let you in on a little secret TSM...I'm ALWAYS chocolate, even if my icon doesn't refelct that. :)
I think I love you boreetos :)
Hi all -sorry =- had been lurking whilst photocopying & saw the chat & then 2 of the littlies came to stay while their mum does some tutoring. Don't know if it will work tho' -usually does. We could do with a few Big Billy Goat Gruffs around here sometimes!
hey here's a question for everyone: Can non-pro users read our profiles?
then mention that the site is regularly patrolled by child porn feds?
cybernan i have the co 5 that is a short story and the co 5 that is a plural of the co4/5 - another? please
lol :)
nan un + a three-letter word that rhymes with opposite of girl
Oh, harpjane, what a great idea! Too bad we can't send 'em some of those rude underarm-pumping faffing sounds, too!
hi everyone! did I miss something? porn? trolls???!!!
Ive got to go now enjoy your scan TSM catch you all tomorrow happy babbling all bye
yes boreetos!
boreetos, yes I think so

ar6....a + cowboy Rogers + negative minus the vowel
What up D-unit! LOL :) Hey sugar how are ya?
Boreetos is making me HUNGRY
Angelsong, I am stumped by two da words; a 5/12 and the 6/21
i do what i can. :)
Hi boreetos, Hi TSM! someone had last week off and hogged the computer. didn't get much babble time. How's the bun?
ah thanks karys
WHAT? You love boreetos TSM? /breaks up with TSM /breaks all her pictures and burns all her love notes /gives her undergarments to the perv down the street
karys - awesome clue!
ew
Stid....da5...same as the one before plus double constatant and plural
Capone you know I love you babe.... But if your going to be mean and not come to my ultrasound and poke fun at me, imma poke back babe.... Who agrees with me!?!?

Hi Atalante
Hey Ata Capone you dont mean that....
so6 = what TSM is
Atlante! how are you?! must have slipped in unnoticed!
ooohhh dear..ATALANTE...HELLLLLOOOOO. ....are you well ?
HI ATALANTE!! WE MISSED YOU! HERE ARE SOME WELCOME BACK FIREWORKS *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*atalante~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~
Hi atlante!! *hugs*
co 5/12 -- change the last vowel of the story (co 6/21 is the pl.)
OOOOOOHHHH Atalante!!!!!!!!!!!!! SORRY -got caught up in the clues as I'm really cr** at this grid! HI!!!!
of course I mean that TSM. <don't>
DA clues: begin with the da 4/5 for when you want to know what the da** is from a calendar. Now, for the next da, change the last vowel to a round one. The da5 in a plural of this word; for the da6, double the consonant from the 5/12.
hi atalante! : D thanks mr write
Atalante, I've been gone too! Happy to be back and see you again.
*giggles* I've just finished sudoku - finally! and I've just got back home after trying to cheer up my friend with icky Crohn's for a few days!
Woah....
welcome back deutsch! sorry i must go now - see you later! happy babbling!
well welcome back both of you x
bye Temple :)
Got to go -hubby alert!!!!! He thinks I'm really working hard in here!!! LOL hope to be back later!
well, as always this has been an interesting and entertaining break, but Imust once again get my posterior back to work. See you all at lunch.

bye temple! bye snowy!
and bye to both of you....I'll be dizzy at this rate !!!
later boreetos!
Bye snowy, bye temple...
bye boreetos
um did anyone ever figure out the r word for intelligence? (i know it's a we word but apparently i don't have it!)
Bye boreetos, TO and snowy
bye boreetos
what a cute kitten, Karys -- yours?
I wish cyber !!
cybernan - got the co's ty
LeslieAnn, I wasn't trying to deliberately confuse you, but my clue was pretty obtuse. The ra words in this grid don't have anything to do with intelligence!
leslieann the reason is you gotta talk like elmer fudd
the second ra word is what they do at NASCAR, with the last vowel changed to the sometimes vowel.
ra 4: think of horse**** or auto****, chance final letter to the sometime vowel
oh i know stid i just couldn't think of a word that starts with r that has to do with intelligence to rhyme it elmer fudd-style
Well, my system for keeping me from sitting too long (unc omfortable chair) is working... BBL!
ty -just got the we! Think ' winter& summer are se**** lose the last s and change the initial letter. Really gone now!
bye Snowy!
aha thanks snowy
tomorrow its the 2000th babble puzzle!!!
um i think it's 1100, bex
so it is bex !!...we should celebrate
oh yes ....silly me...not so good with numbers !!...specially after about 20 drrrrrrr
bex, carried the one tooo far! 1100
any clues on ar6?
only 901 to go really!!
oooooh atalante such a cute kitty
ar6....a + cowboy Rogers + negative minus the vowel
Power hick up AGAIN..... bummer
and getting quicker all the time Atalante
woah....thank you! I never would have gotten that one!
yw beck
Capone left huh?
didn't say anything TOeS
last two: ca 6/30, nu 6/21
Nu6....same as no6...change the obvious
ca6....starts with thing you pack + the 'q' ending
hmmm... thanks karys
why the 'hmmm' ?
yay done! wish i had time to clue but have to get ready for work. bye all!
oh just cause i thought it was a weird word
Good for you....have a good day x
Yea, LeslieAnn and see you later
so 6/33
sorry asking for clue -- so 6/33?
I can smell everyones lunches! I am SO hungry! AH! 15 more mins before food time :P
lol tsm -- you sound like someone who is dieting!
TSM, what are you having for lunch? I'm hungry but I have to go to the store for food.
Nothing here for food. I guess I have to get something out... Lots of pick from around here. Maybe Jimmy John's Beach club sub ! Yummy
Not a diet! Just preggo
TSM., that does it! Bye, everyone. I have to get dressed and forage for food. later days!
Deutsch - what is your favorite food? :)
congrats! -- when are you due?
Middle of September :) And thanks hun hehe my first... nervous!
I'm still here TSM.
TSM., I love tomatoes, cottage cheese and broccoli!
LOL later Deutsch :)
Eat well and do the prenatal exercises -- it will be a piece of cake!
and as you can see from my avatar, i' m still in the dog house 8(
Mixed together??? Hey Capone
Yes I see that Cap
TSM., well, sometimes. I've been told I eat odd mixes of food. No one will eat my tuna salad.
Anyone have so 6/33?
what do you put in your tuna salad?
deutsch, I will try anything at least once.... wow tuna salad sounds good time now...
I <3 Tuna salad as long as ya leave the mayo out!
cybernan, so pig + what you drive to work and the plural
so6/33 - apparently a vehicle for female pigs. I can't imagine why it's a word, but start with the pigs and add the auto...
OMG Deviled Eggs!!!! MUST HAVE THEM!
how about the so8?
Deutsch's infamous tuna salad can of tuna, cottage cheese, horseradish, worstershire sauce, hot peppers, bleu cheese dressing, mustard, a little mayo (you can leave it out, capone) parmasan cheese, onion and garlic powder.
who here is up for a PBBJPC sammich?
That's an eclectic tuna salad you've got there, Deutsch. Sounds like you've got all the bases covered... at once!
Huh *taps finger on chin* sounds like a fun mix.... I want to try some! lol
capone, ?
that is different. I don't think I would eat it either, I don't care for horseradish, blue cheese, or peppers
What is that Cap?
(sorry, walnutchen, I don't have the so8 yet, either)
peanut butter butter jelly (my fave is cherry or guava) potato chip (pref fritos) on jewish rye! good stuff
When I was a kid we would mix weird things together and eat it. I remember mixing butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together and thinging it tasted like cookie dough.... sounds sick now though lol
I created this, uh, dish when I was in grade school. It makes tuna go a long way.
Make that grad school. Duh
Wow Capone... Sounds like a wild mix of flavor. Yum :)
doesn't sound too bad capone. I think I would try that one. (changed my icon by the way, refresh)
ROFL Deutsch :)
one time, i dug up some ants and grasshoppers, threw them in a pot of melted chocolate, let it cool and poured it on my ice cream.
Alright i have to get going ..... ttfn!
TSM, that's very creative. I bet it was good when you were kids. (Lots of sugary yumness)
bye toe sock
Thanks, Deutsch -- can't imagine either -- unless it is for the railway?
A man walks into a talent agents office and says, "Have I got a great new act for you!" .....
Later, TSM, I'm really heading out this time. Hugs for all!
so8: think opp. fraternity and change third letter
cyber, good point. Hadn't thought of that! bye again...
bye, Deutsch
thanks cnan.
Thanks, cyber. I was fooling around with those first 5 letters for ages. And I bet you're right about the so6.
anyone found the we 6, yet?
we6 - what Elmer Fudd calls the faculty for logical thought
He might also say, "No one needs a we6 to kiww a wabbit!"
thanks vicuna
bbl. TTFN
thank you Vicuna -- all grey!!!!
cybernan - so6/33 = female pig + auto
got it a while ago dl88 -- thanks -- I'm done now.
cybernan - sorry bout the delayed clue, just realized I was locked up for a while! ooops
Congratulations!
anyone want a clue before I leave?
Hi All.....Vicuna, your we6 clue was great!!
and what, if i may ask, is the def for we6? i love the clue, but i've never heard of the word. again.
Hi monpazier -- haven't seen you here before -- are you new?
Hello, monpazier, your new horse looks lovely!
no idea, tg! -- like many babble "words"
I've been around for several months, but only chat once in a while. I love the game and the banter when there are no trolls. :)
No def. I know of travelgirl. Just one of the charming vagaries of Babble!
Thanks Vicuna.....Shamrock was born this past St. Paddy's day.
i love this place, but i wish the "words" really were... the standard for allowing and disallowing them appears to be chaotically random at best...
Good Afternoon All - I'm back for a little bit. Looking for the nu 6/21 please.
Doesn't look like anyone needs help, so I'll be off to get some sewing done.
nu6/21 and no6/18 differ by only one letter. I bet you can figure out which one!
CONGRATULATIONS CYBERNAN *~*~*~*BOOM*~*~*
nu6 to rock, sway, or nod
Bye Cybernan! Happy stitches!!
Vicuna - ty :) got it.
faerie -- change first vowel in no 6/18
monpazier - I agree with you. the trolls seemed bad earlier today, just wanted to smack them around
thank cybenan--this grid is a killer.
NO don't tell me we have Trolls???
faeriekae - not right now, earlier though
Fortunately, they die when we don't feed them or Dr. God dispenses with them.
dl88-what is up with that? I just don't understand why they have to be so rude and I guess stupid.
not sure, some of the things they type are really offensive. just trying to get a reaction, good or bad
Monpazier-I was here a one day when we were getting them right and left so I just hid the log because I was just getting too pissed off. Wanted to reach in and smack someone.
I've been here too when it has gotten bad. They really do feed on reaction.
I have been around, off an on, since last fall. Have never seen them as bad as they have been the last few weeks
Good to talk to you all.......headed out to a meeting. Happy Troll-less babbling!!
Yes I think they are all coming from boing boing. It really gets bad for the players who use thier person photos as icons. I just hate it.
Later Monpazier :)
that should have been personal photos.
oops I have company bbl. See ya dl88
FAERIE! You came back to me!
have a great one faeriekae, Im OTL as well
morning all
TSM are you still here?
hi all
hi zion very quiet here
Hello again, I just got back from a break and everything suddenly made (more) sense! Need any clues before I get back to painting?
hi ca$ :)
i'm back for about a half hour to finish. Have to teach this afternoon. Stid - what are you painting.
i'm doing terribly today. only 46 words so far :(
TSM went to lunch shorty.
I need help with the second no4/4, please...?
I'm painting a "tree" today -- I usually paint flowers, but I decided to experiment with a canvas I had lying around. Funny, the tree got covered with flowers yesterday, and today they want to sprout all over the canvas! [grin] My usual thing is greeting cards and notecards and stuff. I'm not very talented, but I have fun.
a clue for us 5/18 pls
second no 4/4: japanese seaweed used to wrap sushi; was in yesterday's grid
Never mind, got it!
That is very cool Stid. My daughters and I just started going to ceramics painting class. They are terrific at it -- i'm mediocre.
i havnt been on long either lool
us 5/18: us + the unusual tile + the second vowel
us5/18 - alas, another no-definition word, uses the special double-letter tile
Hi Jera. Are your kids better?
Ca$hmyre, it's not an easy puzzle, just shorter than yesterday's! And there are some really obscure words in this one.
stidmama, I see we have a lot in common: at home with kids, gardening, poor housekeeping, enjoying art... (and, of course, Babble)
thnxs vicuna what a strange word !!
stidmama, i'm from WA, too! also a mum at home with three. two in school right now, one asleep. so i'm babbling instead of doing housework or paying bills :)
musicmom, I like painting ceramics, but it's so expensive to go to the shops that I don't get to very often. Maybe if I make more than I spend someday I'll be able to expand my repetoire
Stid - it is expensive - especially with the girls doing smaller pieces and finishing every time we go. I have been trying to limit them to once or twice a month. We have a friend who has the studio in her garage just a couple streets over.
afternoon all - anyone have a clue for the so/8? i'm wasting a beautiful day looking...
hi TheFiz so 8 = opp of fraternity, change one consonant
so8 - the quality of having resonance, sounds like a bunch of girls in college
Male child + end of a female college group.
thx. both - sometimes my brain just freezes up and I can't see the semi-obvious. off to see some New England sunshine...
How nice to have a studio close by! Ca$h, so glad you get a break while the kid sleeps -- when mine were little enough to take naps things like Babble didn't exist! And I'm glad I'm not the only mother who wastes time on things like this!
better babbling at home than at work - shh!!
babbling isn't a time waster...it's...umm...a brain developoment and strengthening exercise...yeah, right!
Stid and Ca$h it is NOT a waste of time. Mamas need time to rest and relax too.
LOL, thefiz
you know they say word games keep you from getting alzheimers. you're doing it for the kids.
i'm doing it so i can impress my friends with my knowledge of weird four letter, unpronounceable words
evening all :D
Nice, Ca$h - how would you use us 5/18 in a sentence?
Hi Sherb
haha! i can't even find that word in the dictionary. how can it be on the grid?!
ar 6/24? :s
Okay gang - I have to take Hannah to a babysitter so I can teach. She is usually in this class but she has the "throw ups" today and cannot go.
hi mm :D
gotta run and pick up child #2 at preschool. have a babblicious day everyone!
bye Ca$h!
later peeps :D
faerie, you here?
where are you snowy owl
and what sort of word is we6/30? ...sound like something elmer fudd would say...
Bye Ca$h and musicmom, enjoy the rest of your day!
Okay, really need to do something that doesn't include the computer for a while! Bye all!
okay, I'll just carry on here on my own...
Ar6/24 Ar+ elbows and knees are j****s use a y instead of an i

Sherb, I work with number all day and have only been able to finish one sudoku...it was a medium. Figured it was time to change careers or give up sudoku...
lol, Schro :D ...these are like no other sudokus I've ever done... designed to humiliate...
I finished!! Off line for a long time. I had to look up a couple... the us word: Latin (all the time, all the way, always, at every point, continuously, even (to), right on, up (to), up to, up to)). we 6/30: means windpipe/throat, scottish, Robt Burns: But monie daily weet their we**** Wi' liquors nice, An' hardly, in a winter season, E'er spier her price..."
well done peester... and informative too :D :D
cnan said earlier the us word is gaelic for liquor
help needed please...so6/33 and so7/48... i assume they are related!!!
ty sherb... those fake sounding words (the ones with no def) tick me off! Can I help with clues?
no5/10 please?
I mean, "may I" help with clues...
yikes! almost got busted by my boss - quick recovery with a complex-looking spreadsheet.

Hi Mo, think of female pigs in an auto....

Tigereye and Schroeder thanks very much ...i dont think i would have got them

CO6 ... PLURAL OF THE PREVIOUS ONE
Thanks for the clarifications, Sherb. I just dropped in, since I am addicted. I finished around noon, did my shopping and am now waiting for a student.
do6 & 6 ones who gives money away
thank you mary :)
hi inge... Babble is certainly addictive... but harmless...
thanks for the explanations all ..re :D
Mo, I've got that one, it's the very last co6/21 that I need
np mo ;p
ah ok, add an e on the end of the one before it.
If I were to go pro, could I change my nomer, or would I loose all my points and standing???
Got it, thanx all. I have Fiiiiiiniiisssshhhheeddddd
Evening all. The last co6/21 is the latin plural of the co 5 before it. Or think of a small house and take out the g.
capone ..now you are teasing me ..what does ;p mean?
wink + sticking out tongue
inge... from memory, you can change your sign in name before you go pro, but not after...

Hello, sherb - has it been a peaceful evening on Babble?
Thanks Sherb, I am thinking of becoming "legal"
hi kids! I was lurking, swipin' clues right & left and have finally finished... for a 'small' grid, it was a bit of a beastie!!
Hi Haz!!
Hi Schroeder - I should really scroll back and see who all is here.
lol, Haz... came here looking for some action, but it's been very peaceful... I actually like the trolls... I find them fascinating...
I just wish I had the cute little puppy in my pix to make me feel better after the trials & tribulations of finishing this one!! : ) *sigh* when I have a house I'll get one!!
(((EasternBlue))) Congrats!!!!
I know what you mean - it's probably the same fascination that led people to visit Bedlam!
hi EB :D ... you're not very B today...
hi Haz...we are not lurking,honest
We had the same troll as the past two days this morning. She didn't hang around
<3 trolls
the fact that they return indicates some loneliness on their part... sad...
sherb - nope...went with the theme & couldn't find one with a blue background...but isn't he CUTE??? (I LOVE Goldens...)
I guess I cut out before it got crowded under the bridge
Can someone help with so5, please? I've probably been staring at it since 8:00 this morning and just don't realize it. ;)
Time to heat up lunch.....BRB
so/5, mounted indian soldier
so 5 - so + opp. of peace
so 5 - what George Bush declared after 9/11. Or just add 'conflict'
The Trista: last three leltters are word for battle between countries.
Thank you, inge, Haz, Eastern, and capone!

Hi All! Can anyone help me with my last 2 words please? the so 8/50 and us 5/18....... I saw some of the previous clues but they aren't helping
Hi Mamabear - wish I could help but I don't have either on yet
to 4/6?
us5 - add the first letters of a reigning monarch (female)
to 4/5 award for a play
nowhere to4/6 is a man's name or the award for stage performances
wo4/9?
still looking for so8/50. someone offered a clue that was the opposite of a fraternity with a letter different. unfortunately, I still can't find it... any other clues?
Thanks Haz!!!! Now I just need the so 8/50 to be dun, dun, dun....
mama - so8 is like female sisterhood with different 3rd consonant
mama: not fraternity but so****** sub another consonant for the middle one...
so 8/50 - first three letters, male offspring, next two, word of alternative, last three, ending of the c*** of Washington or Paris, or New York.
vp/mama - meaning has to do with quality of sound
You have 0word(s) left to find Love those words... thanks Haz, Gromit and Temple!!!! See yas later!!! Anybody do Sudoku today? Looks like a rough one.
finally! thank you all :)
congrats mamabear...I just started

{{{{CONGRATULATIONS}}}
been away for a few days -- just starting this short grid and am stuck on ar 6/ 24 ar 5/ 10
ar 5/10 one who plays with fire
Hi! I'm new. Ar5 -- ar + male progeny
finished!!! night everyone im off to bed!!
ar6 - a plus man's name (Rogers of cowboy fame) , shortened form of New Testament.
Night, bex - sleep well!
Congratulations Bex nitey nite :)
Oh my gosh my dog was chewing on a ant trap does anyone think it will hurt her?
Did she get to the poisony center?
I don't think!
Shorty - probably not but you might call your vet to make sure. Or just ask Haz. I think her hubby is a vet.
Haz what do you think?
Haz - where are you? Shorty needs you.
Beck - LOL! Your description almost sounded like it could be yummy (poisony center)
Haz must have left Shorty....call your vet.
We don't have a lot of experience with ants. Ring your local vet for advice.
co 4/7, not the one that's like the new york island?
theres bite marks in the center but not all the way through
ok will do
ive got 94, I've missed one out and I can't figure out what it is!!! *headdesk*
a poison center could help too.
Shorty what size is your dog 10lbs 20lb?
really!!!!!
like 60 lbs
Nowherepixie - LOL
hehe its ok i figured it out! finished :D:D:D
Shorty, just my opinion, but I'd err on the safe side and call a vet or go in. We recently had a near-tragedy with my son-in-law's Italian Greyhound. His topical meds spilled on his food, which he ate. He was on a respirator for a week, nearly lost him.
thanks praes and haz1558 -- hopefully i'll get back in the swing of the grid!
Nowhere - congratulations!
could I get a clue for at5/14? It's making my head hurt.
Shouldn't hurt then. Doesn't take much to kill an ant but for a 60lb dog that didn't actually eat through it should be safe. My shih tzu got into mouse poision a few years back and he was ok.
nu6/21? please...
Congratulations NOWHEREPIXIE
Hi, all!
Congratulations NowherePixie! I have one left - co 4/7, not the one that's like the new york island - can you help?
gromit - like no6
nu 6/21 - add ta4/4 -
Hi-I'm new to this. Is it my imagination or some of these words "made up"?
at 5/14 - a + award for a play
Hi Jera :)
elfie - they're not made up, but some are very unusual.
Elfie - LOL - sure looks that way doesn't it.
thanks, VP!
The us 5/18 I can't find in any dictionary. What does it mean?
Ahhh! Thanks Haz.
vpchat - Actor ***** Feldman, first name misspelled
The other co 4/7 ends with the same letter but different consonant. Sounds like a name.
clue for first co6/21. please?
How about the so 8/50 anyone. Please.
leep - great clue! You must be a child of the 80's
TO - add 2nd vowel to the end of the word just before it.
staring right at me. thanks leep - I'm finished!
ca6?
faerie - like a sisterhood, but change 3rd consonant. has to do with quality of sound
CONGRATS VPCHAT :)
I also could use a hint for the so8/50
Yay for vpchat!! gromit - just watch a lot of TV
faerie - there are various versions for the so8 Either opposite of fraternity, and change the third letter Or description of quality of sound Or - Male offspring, word for alternative, c*** of Washington.
thanks Gromit got it :)
clue for the first co6/21. please?
LOL! That boy hasn't been on anything for a while!
co 6/21 is plural of co5/12
and i am DONE!
Temple - look at 3:17 clue
ca 6 - sounds like cask. Also same structure as a region of Spain which sought independence or similar to ladies corset-like undergarment.
temple do you have co5/12 right before it? add the second vowel.
Congrats Temple :)
got to go! see you tomorrow!
Thanks Haz!!
Bye Temple
Everybody's finishing at once - congratulations all round!
grommit - think flying. also, do you have sa 4/4? one letter difference - guess which! - then change the final vowel and you'll have another
TheFiz - sorry, I forgot what I was asking help for.
No word back from Shorty yet?
Not yet Haz.
this puzzle is hard
Sinnergy-yes it is.
Just to make you feel better, one of the more expert Babblers did it in17 minutes this morning.
Haz-who did that?
Sprite.
Someone did this in 17 minutes? Wow, I spend hours
Didn't make you feel better, did it?
Noway....that is incrediable....
elfie - most of us do - even with lists!
ad 4/5 anyone ?
Haz-are you trying to make us feel bad? Not working. I could have done that but I'm not a show off. :)
Pluralise a Shakespeare play - Much *** about nothing
zion - much ad* about nothing (plural)
Sorry - I shouldn't have said anything!
need a little help with the no5/10 and the no4/4 after it.
leep - pluralise the no4/4 before it (French black) and then the following no4 is an anagram of the first.
I only have 29 words left to find...LOL now I need the "so" 5/18 please...
so 5/18 - add a word that describes a collection of battles.
fairie -One who spreads seeds with a slight spelling change
I found it.
pleural of the so 6/30
Gosh, faerie, you're on a roll now. We can't keep up iwth the clue giving.....
LOLOL
this may be a silly question, but im pretty new. why does the q have a u next to it?
I found the sq all by myself...yeah
Owlmovement - it's probably to make things a little easier as q is always followed by u. Without it the q might be even less used than it is.
so do i still add the U? or is it implied?
owlmovement-there are no silly questions ask here. the qu counts as 2 letters and always go togather
ah, thank you so much.
You need to enter the u along with the q.
18 words to go....I quit last night with 4 to go...
oc4, anyone?
haz1558 - not ignoring you with my thanks, but i am still working on ca6/30.
The Trista - which one?
oc4/5 Think whales with one letter removed
PBR - the ca 6/30 ca +plural + go left to the 5pt double letter + 2nd vowel
TheTrista - sorry, I'm an idiot! There is only one. Like shamu minus a consonant
ar 6/24 ?
Thank you, leep and grommit! And grommit, no problem. I did the same thing earlier. "Why can't I find that other one?" Because there was no other one!
ca 6/30 - Use the word that you use to pack your clothes in for holidays. (ca**) and insert the two letter tile in just before the end.
so- do you all change your pictures all the time? did someone choose today to be an animal theme?
so6/30 anyone?
faeriekae -- when you word it that way.....I found it -- boy am I rusty -- I was only gone a week and did finish at one grid while gone...thanks..moving on
gromit - people who spread seeds, with one vowel change
so 6/30 - plural of so 5 (so plus collection of battles)
ok she'll be ok she would have had to eat 100 0f them
PBR - no problem I really couldn't think of any other way to clue you LOL - strange word
That's a relief, shorty!

leep - plural of french word for night (which is also on the grid)
No 5/10 - the word is French for black, pluralised. It might also be what US citizens think of the tax authorities.

eegads...tks....but i can't imagine what the meaning is of THAT word!!!
ah. this puzzle does what a hoover does. ahm goin.
its like the equivelent of "take off, hoser"
No definitions were found for ar6 --- i think the dictionary (dictionaries?) used for this site should be burned and replaced with something perhaps a bit more current, realistic... sigh...
ok, I gotta get back to work, see everyone tomorrow.
i agree on that the dictionaries used here suck
32 words and im stuffed !!
cheder is a word but nano isnt, naan can be used but not dosa..what gives..oh and emes can be used but not goth

Hey all! I've already finished, but wanted to see if anyone needed help betwixt eating and doing dishes... also, I missed out on a lot of drama yesterday and wanted to see if I missed any today!!! ;)
what happened yesterday?
Hi Everyone! Does anyone have a clue for the so7?
cause the day before, the pros were toying with trolls - fun to watch
Hi marigold!!! Don't have that one yet.
Hey HK, it was something about a teenaged troll that wouldn't let go... but seeing as how I missed the Miy-controversy, the TSM proposal... I'm keepin' my nose in as much as possible! :)
Hi I need a clue for the no 5/10 -please
no5/10 is the plural of the no4/4
and this was such a nice, distinguished site when i first started
so 7 is a vehicle for female pigs!!!! in the plural
no5/10: plural of the 4 before it which is no4 French for "black"
what is the tsm proposal? if i may ask
inge, thanks so much, got them both, stupid words
so8/50 anyone?
so 8; opposite of fraternity, change 3rd consonant to n
As I understand it... and this is from strying to slog through all the chats, capone proposed marriage to toesockmonkey on the chat (very seriously) and I personally have yet to figure out if she's accepted, turned down, or is keeping her answer to herself! Yesterday there was a troll, Miy-lemon was a number of weeks ago....
peri - so 8 = not daughter but so* + either ** + big town - c
thanks inge and renfield
thanks for the clue got that need no4/4 after no 5/10 please
marigold, you still here, did you get the so7?
no4/4: the Jap. seaweed used in sushi
rosalind, do you have the japanese seaweed, it is an anagram of the French word for black
I have an so6 that could be a pig vehicle. I can't see the so7. Any more hints. please
thx jen - wow- a marriage proposal, for real? i've talked a bit with toesock - we live in the same place, i seem to recall that capone lives pretty far away from here
marigold, add an s
marigold, just make the so6 a plural :)
Thanks Peri got it now I am finished
Thanks so much peri. I was looking in the wrong direction.
no problem, marigold
helenk... I dunno... I asked capone directly one day and he said it was for real! :) But I don't know what else to say... to be honest, I totally thought TSM was married in the 1st place, seeing as how she is preggo (NOT judging!!! just assumed and I know that makes an ass out of me!)
i gotta av a smoke
lol jen - i knew she was having a baby & that's exactly what i thought too, not sure if she is married either, lol - then we are asses together
* sneaks ups very, very chalker stalker quietyly behind ren * BOO! - chalk mustache!
did tsm and capone know each other in real life or did they meet on Babble? I am just being nosey :)
oh & for the record - i weigh quite a bit under 200 lbs - there was a fat-loving troll on here saying every woman on this site must weight over 200 lbs because of the type of site it was - everyone wisely ignored him - so for the record - normal sized women love words too ! ! ! !
{{back off chalker stalker nut}}!!!! LOL hk, as long as there's someone else feelin' like an ass/fuddy-dud along side me, I'm cool with it! :)
ok this is my understanding that tsm and capone are not getting married they were playing around
freaky doogle
hi eva - you are a major nut - LOL
Hi, Doogle, haven't seen you in a while.
hahahaha nutty buddy.... 8}O..look what you did!!!!!!!!
As long as we are recording weights for the troll, I am 5' 8" and 135....
thanks hk, note that nut is in the grid
Doogle, I have two more to find. Both to words...
rennie!!!!! i just got my overtime, it's UGLY

i'm gonna kick insurance a** - but i guess i'll let the dr's try first eh?
hiya toe ! oooooh, you were topic of conversation - so, do tell, are we hearing bells?
Hi everyone, I had to leave about 5 hours ago, only needing 3 words to finish. So I have looked in to do just that. Committee meetings can be a bit of a nuisance, it takes you away from Babble!
Deutsch, do you have the one that is like a frog
to 5 1st t o 4 plural
Hi TSM. I guess you had your lunch by now! LOL
hi wren - those rotten meetings!
Wow.. interesting I am reading it all here
deutch, the to 5/12 is plural of he one above it
First of all I am not married... But I love Capone :) we have known eachother for a long time. He travels here to see family and I met him that way... And i fly there when I can
Peri, please hand me the fish of obviousness! Leaves just the to 5
and the second 4/5, take the a out
Deutsch, add an "s" to the frog
deutsch...to 5 = 1st to 4 plural
I am a preggo this is true, thank you Capone....but sadly due to work and other things he has to be there and i have to be here... for now
Does any of that help at all?
toesock - oooh, very, very cool - so this is serious?
toe, gets me thinking that we should write a babble soap script.
Hey TSM!! I truly apologize for talking about you in the 3rd person but I was being asked questions that I couldn't quite explain! Please forgive if I offended.
jeez ya nosey people! i wondered why my ears were burning.
ren, scatty, peri, Thanks! (((HUGS))) My last words are always simple, everyday words. Oh, well, thanks again
As serious as we can all be online! lol Sadly its the only way durring the work day we can talk.... thank you for Babble! lol
HI there TSM!! I wasn't really being nosey, just curious. Hope you are not offended.

I must be dense but I still can't get the co 5/12 or the 6/21 have the cheese one have the person in jail and the for
Peester - if she asked for that stuff I would give it to her and make her throw up<G> Seriously, she is pretty good about not faking the sick thing.

That would be fun wouldn't it Zion?
No Jen. That is just the way of the 4 year old. Just be comforted that I have the meanest mom in the world title sewn up so you are in no danger.
oh Jen! you're definitely not an ogre!! 4 year old boys can be though!!

iron sudoku is great, only i couldn't crack it today.
HI all -- finished this morning, just peeking in to see who's here. Haven't seen Mamabear for a while -- is she still babbling?

nu 6 is the same as the no 6 except for one letter - guess which one.
I'm finished!!!

Thanks, musicmom!
no probleeeemo
magbag - make a reminder of on paper.
book - think of word for when somthing changes (especially in comic books as a result of exposure to radiation, etc), then change first consonant
no/6 N**=negative + past tense of eat

nu: what the squirrel did with the the thing it ate.
yahoooo, rebekb!
thanks for the help found the us5/12, another new word for me
ty gromit!
un4/6 - hope it is not an easy one
My favourite word in the whole grid was do 5/12 -- haven't been to Tim Horton's since I went on the South Beach diet a year ago! mmmmmmmmm....
Now I have to look up all the words I don't know :)
ar6?
make that do 5/14!
un + not for but against, minus n (un4/6)
okie-doke... guess I'll sign off for the evening and watch Power Rangers with my son (SPD emergency!) see you all tomorrow and have a great evening!
that is, not pro but ***
ar 6: a + cowboy crooner Rogers + 2 consonants
<g> C- nan It made me want some.
Thanks cnan.
music - a + mans name (*** rodgers) + word for negative - vowel
last one for me ca6?
Thanks gromit
musicmom, not a masque, but rhymes
ca6 -- a type of helmet
ca 6: ca + curvaceous letter + french what
I have to go fix dinner... any last minute clues?
Thanks Reb and cnan - - I missed that one a few days ago too. Thanks to you all. I'm finished.
or is it french that?
...that I can provide, I mean.
That was my last word, too. Thanks!
congrats, musicmom
High school french was a long time ago. I have no idea, but I got the word - that is all that matters.
cyber - I know it spanish, not sure about french.
congrats to you too, getup
Getup - is that a Hawkeye? My cousin was a Hawkeye
Yeah getup and musicmom!!!
YAY musicmom and getup... just stopping by quickly while checking email. Hi y'all!
off to Eight1 -- back at the flip!
have a great night everyone!
bye - have fun!
Sure is. Fighting Herky.
Woot MM! :)
hi stid!
Very cool. He was a distance runner.
Cool
Hi Stid - it took me all day to finish today
un 4/6 pleaaase !
un+the first two lessons of a business. **mpany
zion - un + shortened word for a business
What exactly does woot mean?? un 4/6: pun- the p, plus a short name for a company.
That should be "letters" not "lessons" I'm trying to write lesson plans too.
w00t, i'm out for now. check ya later
thnxss to all for that god im crap loool
Ha! musicmom
You're welcome everyone. I'm going to hang around but it may take me a few minutes to answer. I am tabbing back and forth.
zion - no worries!! You're just fine.
I'm out of here. I have 54 total done, and I'm feeling SO uneducated. *sigh*
so is this game more fun after you become a pro member?
Zion the beauty of this game is that we all help each other. No big deal to have to ask.
I became a pro because it was so much fun without being pro. the stats do help and I love having an icon and a handbag.
please help US 5/18 and nu6/21
tmcs, don't get discouraged. These games do get easier with practice...
nu 6 is like no 6/18...
us+two letter tile+vowel nu6 same as no6 change second letter only
Joesyphh -- I just went pro a couple days ago. It's not more fun, but I get to express my personality a little bit with the icon and all; and the stats page really helps me keep track of where I am in the game.
ok, thanks for the help so far. I feel really dense--any hints for the os/4?
sorry i dont have the no6/18 also what is a 2 letter tile??
os 4: what they give at the Academy Awards - c
Maybe I'm just missing that part where the fun comes into the game, this is my first time playing and it just seems like it is taking awfully long=P
tmcs -- I have an MA in english and I have to keep looking up the words!
It's great brain exercise
got the 2 letter tile sorry been to long at it
no6/18 -- to put on paper - no*+past tense of eat
Joesyphh -- yes, it can be really tough. Some people set a personal goal of so many words, or how many words they can get in a set time. Some "grids" are easier than others, a lot of words are completely new even to the really good players... I have felt very unlearned ever since I got here 10 days ago, but every day I feel I know just a little bit more. It's nice to grow!
Joesy - welcome anf well met! Like any other skill, Babbling takes time to master :) The real fun is in the interaction w/each other as we express our disbelief at what the game considers to be words! ;D
P S -- Hi All!!!
Good Evening, GW!
oops -- and, not anf :D
Hey stid -- (*hug*)
Thanks, ((GW)) -- yours was the first bestowed by someone without a stuffy nose today!
Finally done! Hi GreyWoulf!!
ti 4/4 pls i tried all combos !
I currently have Seb on my chest -- poor little guy got his first shots today - 4 of them! :(
YAY periwinkle!
ti 4/4 is the same as ty 4/6, different spelling...
(*peri*)
GreyWoulf, please give your little guy a hug from me.
Poor Seb! That's hard. I used to put teething stuff (the herbal, clove-based gel) on to numb the skin a little bit first... it seemed to help our boys.
will do, peri :) he is calming down - he just got some tylenol
going to read a book before I go to bed, see you all tomorrow.
g'night periwinkle!
g'nite, peri
im still 2 short one is un5/18 and no4/5,and thanks to all who have been kind enough to help me
hint for ar 6/ 24 please
hi babblers. late start for me tonite - went to dinner and a movie.
How many words are possible?
no4/5 - something you do with your head
mamma avnt got ti 4/6 either !
un5/18 = un + name of doctor on star trek (minus first two letters)
The hardest part of holding Seb while typing is that I have been babbling so much, the letters have worn off the keys! I usually touch type, but can't with only one hand ;D
LEGUUUUUUMES!
there isn't a ti4/6
cliff -- its a little one today, plenty of time :)
So, do I have to become a babble pro before i can see the things like: un 4/6?
ti 4/4: ti + how you get a boat down the stream - r
ar6/24 = a+ *** rogers + nt
wow - only 95 words today...i've already got 20+
thanks!
thnxs mama
Babbler's Anonymous in the "Friends of Babble" has a list of the clues for the puzzle; Angelsong's page has a bunch of great resources to help solve words; and Lickety's Clues is an online tool to help keep track of which words you have!
josyphh, no you don't have to go Pro. us 5/18 = first two letters of the word # of ltrs/pts if you go to Angelsong's Babble Page link on the right column you can go to BJ's word list that shows what all the words are in the puzzle
oops, gotta go
hi/bye Ca$h...
Yes, only 95 words, but some of them have been real stumpers!
which is typical of a small grid ;)
back in a bit -- diaper change time :)
Hello everyone Have only 5 word left..so...whats up with the "so" words, cant find any of the big ones???
so 6/33 is something pigs might go for a ride in.
Ah yes! The big "so" words! They were mean and cruel... try so + word for armed conflict; also its plural
so8? so5? so6/30 and 33?? and the so7/48??
six words to go. What about the so6/30?
so 7/48 is so 6/33 plural
the best clue I've seen for so 8 is that it's like the counterpart of a fraternity; change the first r in that word to a different consonant.
Hellow, fellow Babblers. Long time no play. Evil overlords at work decreed "no more computer games". Nazis. Anyway, need clues for the Aw6/36 and the CA6/30.

**F**I**R**E**W**O**R**K**S** for wolfie!!!!!
congrats woulf
drdc -- sorry to let you down, but it doesn't have much appeal for me
lnelson you can see the stats w/out being pro click on green links to the right either Babblers Anon (+follow) or Angelsong
LOL wolfie!!!!!
question for you Babble vets... earlier i was on and a bunch of people were talking about Trolls being here...what's a Troll in Babble?
i'm not a fan of watching cars go round and round. plus i don't like the crashes as twice idiots have crashed into me at high speeds.
still on a business call
thanks, jeffer!
wolfie..will you explain trolls? i like drag and street racing
Sure thing ren
I like pigmobiles the most
what r pigmobiles?
A troll is not a Babble thing -- it is a chat log thing
haha, it was just a dumb hint from me
so it's an undesirable on a chat log?
it was good lnelson i knew you were talking about so 6
lnelson, i get it now...duh!
A troll is any person who shows up in a chat environment with the primary intention of disrupting the chat --- they will usually make inflammatory statements and then act surprised when people get upset
I just got back from dinner. YAY GreyWoulf!
i see woulfie...so it's somebody with nothing better to do >:(
Re: Trolls, think of most of the people at IMDb
Reading down a little further... YAY andy! How did your young one like the game you installed the other night?
Over the weekend, we had a couple of trolls show up. Unfortunately, we have had our share here in Babbleonia and they did not get the response they were hoping for
Exactly Ca$h
Hello everyone. I only have us 5/18 left. I've tried all different combinations. I'd appreciate a clue!
renfield -- if that your pup? Looks like a golden lab. Had one when I was a kid. Nice dogs.
The best response to a troll is to either ignore them or treat them like a boggart from Harry Potter -- laugh at them -- it makes them all confoozled inside and usually they go away quickly
stid - she 1/2 goldie and 1/2 chow...she is a lap baby!
Riddikulus! (points wand)
us + 5pt letter + 2nd vowel
us5/18 us + "a line of people waiting their turn"
prana us 5/18: us + "acting shy"
prana -- us + spanish for what
ren - love the curly tail. my chow is the same color and has the same tail.
ca$h --- ROFL!!!!
Hey everybody look at my butt I've got my pants down a mooning you right now. (being a troll) Hey Gang !!!!
Thank you! I'm new to this, and didn't realize that tile would count as 2 letters.
ah, that explains the exaggerated "feathers" near the tail. Chows are supposed to be nice, too, though I've never known any personally.
how many words are there?
g'nite, and thanks for all the fish (clues) signing off, book
i saw your puppster cliff - beautiful!!!
Freckle -- 95 today
nite book
sorry prana, my brain must still be at dinner [slinking away]... my clue was for a different word...
hey faerie!!!!
so long, book!! Great meeting you :)
Hey Ren are you finished?
Bye book! See you soon!
Stidmama, I thought maybe it was another definition for that word!
Hi and Bye Book
no faerie...i've got 20 something on the grid lwft to go....
my chow trys to help me babble. he is under my desk right now. he only knows chinese tho.
LOLO cliff - is that your kitty as well?
g'nite book
You'll get it Ren..I over heard that someone finished in like 17 mins this morning.
anyone want to throw me a co or no? i've only got a few of each, and they're all i have left.
showoff
i just noticed...i need to get an icon! but alas, i have no furry friend at home
that'll never happen for me faerie...i have to chat and watch a movie and look for words....i finish in like 17 hours maybe!!!! 8D
no, cliff! Which one(s) do you need?
eveing -- I am back from vacation and need to finish the grid yet...onward.
yes ren, today's icon is my old guy Casper. he is 16 (or 90+ in cat years) and isn't doing well. i probably won't be at 90 either.
LOL - it took me all day.
pbr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
how about no 5/10 and no 6/18
cliff, my favorite co is co 5/12 pane***** (type of Italian cake)
89!
no 5/10: lots of black (in French)
Heh, that wasn't supposed to post twice. Sorry about that.
go lnelson, go!
uh-oh, my baby just woke up. better run. g'nite!
i only saw it once lnelson
no 6/18 to no + cross + 1st vowel + cross + 2nd vowel
no 6/18: same as nu 6/18; a better clue I saw earlier was no + "Little Man ****" (Jodie Foster movie)
nite ca$h
faerie -- sounds like you could be talking about sprite -- she is utterly phenomenal when it comes to solving the grid -- she doesn't even use the 2nd letter list -- just the stat board and the log when she slows down
good night ca$h!
Bye Ca$h...
G'nite ca$h -- give the littleun a hug from me :)
you're all lucky your kids sleep through the night now!
Grey Woulf you are exactly right...I had no idea that she didn't use the letter list though. You have got to be shitting me. That is unbelievable.
got the no clues, many thanks
89 words...so close...brane hurts
UGH I give up. I'll talk to you all tomorrow. The phone is ringing off the hook tonight.
No, Sebastian is still getting up anywhere from 3 to 5 am depending on when he fell asleep -- and since I get up with him I get very broken sleep before going to work at 7 AM

Good Night Music Mom (((MM)))

Good evening
faerie -- sprite is the BAbbler's Babbler and one of the nicest people you will ever have the luck to meet, and as you know Babbleonia is inhabited by LOTS of nice people :)
hey amerine
hello Amerine
evenin amerine
Hey all
Hey sis! :)
Amerina - Welcome - good luck with the puzzle.
MM - that is how my day at work goes -- you get the option to turn off the phone at home, I can't at work :\
Thank you, gotta love ones with Qu in them :)
Amerine talked to Capone today? I just emailed him ultrasound pictures
((Toes)) how are you feeling? prego lol still eating bbq?

Yeah awes awesome! I cried!
was awesome* too excited and cant type lol
I got your ultrasound pics TSM! Woot! Baaaaaby!
awwww Toes got to see Baby Toes today....how sweet
oh, I remember how happy I was when I "saw" our elder one for the first time... the pictures were so clear, and it was so nice to know he was okay!
hey cliff -- if it isn't too forward, where are you from? My inclination is to interpret your name as being cliff of pa :) if you wish to retain your privacy, that is cool :)
that;s great tsm...amazing isn;t it!!!!
I will see if I cant get one for my icon might look to odd though
Amerine, gotta love those black and whites ;) lol
[chanting] baby pictures! baby pictures!
says not the correct file type... might have to resave another way then
hmm. no5... Any clues?
Ok Gang - I'm going to bed. Everyone have a good evening. See ya tomorrow.
nighty night faeriekae
no5 - plural black
g'night faeriekae
nite faerie
Faerie!!! Come SBB b4 sleep!
no 5: plural of French for "black"
dream deep, faerie (*Hug*)
the world wants to see your pics, TSM
Faerie!
no 5 = no 4 plural (like film no** pluiral)
LOL Capone - Toes you got your hands full girl.. nite nite
Nighty night sugar
nite faerie
Where can you find the two letter list?
4 to go . . . all co . . . last co 5/12 or last 6/21 anyone?
just updated my icon to show my cats, better late than never
5 words to go and i'm stumped ;-( co4/5, co5/12, co6/21 and da5/12, da6/21 all help appreciated, i'd love to finish my first babble cheers
thanks!! I had somehow missed that one AND the singular version.
GW - just saw your note. I can't take this one off the hook. We are starting a new infant class on Thursday. These are prospective parents/clients. I have to take the calls.
Capone - you are the maker of your own destiny.
da 5/12 plural of 2nd da 4/5
last co6/21 starts like a white thing used to make fabric use first four letters then first vowel then second vowel
co 5/12: first five letters of small dwellings in English countryside; also it's plural
da 5/12 - look at da4/5 change last letter da 6/21 is plural
TSM - I cried at my ultrasounds also. Glad it went well.
bj - go to the right to friends of babble. the 2 letter list is under links at angelsong's web page....or under bab anon under general
andy and stidmama - got your clues now, co 4/7's?
I think my chat is stuck... testing
did you get all the co help you needed?
I am going absolutely insane here.
nope, it's fine, nevermind :)
OMG READY!?
MM - then you have a good idea of how my work goes EVERYday :) TSM -- Congratulations!!!!!
just finished -- I know it took me longer than usual--guess I am rusty!!
first co 4/7: like a small horse, but starts co
ready for what?
co4/7 new york island park, think hot dogs...then replace middle consonant
cliff - co- ice cream co**- last letter+sometimes vowel co+growl letter+sometimes vowel
VERY small.... refresh!
Thanks! :)
lnelson.. you are not insane...it's the rest of the world...you are fine...just like us!!!!
YAY pbr!
what an ugly kid...def takes after his mom.
OMG it's your ultrasound!
Oh TSM, that is just about the sweetest! Looks so perfect!
I'm having difficulty with one of the no4/4s right before the no6/18
haha, thanks ren
CAPONE!
TSM - what a sweetheart!!! YEY!!!!!! I feel for you GW - I hate the telephone. I prefer to do most of my communication through email.
Looks like you cropped it a bit - good - easier to see what it is :)
one no 4/4 means Japanese seaweed; the other is the same four letters that begin the 6/18
no** bene
although it does have my nose
no4/4 - a short letter - change the last vowel to the first instead of the 2nd.
Hey sis, I called mom but she isn't home. I sent her an email too though
TSM -- Kirsten affectionately refers to this as the lima bean stage :) Such a wonderful feeling to actually be able to see it, isn't it?
no 4 = no + cross consonant (not the x) + 1st vowel
da6/21?
Well, it's Tuesday, doesn't she work late on Tuesday? She'll be thrilled to see it.
LOL - Lima bean stage
OMG
da 6/21: pluralize the da 5 just before it
LOL grey totally right! lima bean!
gasp!
da 6/21 - insert a cross consonant in 1st da 5/12 or make 2nd da 5/12 plural
Im so sad right now
I'm ready to start giving more clues I guess. :-)
sad, capone?
lnelson - are you ok????
Cap, you should crawl up there to rub her tummy.
why, capone?
Why sad hun?
I had lima beans for dinner... I may have consumed our son. 8*(
yeah, ren. I'm great!
TSM -- Kirsten thanks you for sharing with us -- it made her smile :)
*hugs capone*
CAPONE!
lnelson - are you finished?
thanks ren! i've got a co4/5, co5/12 and da5/12 to go and i finish my first babble!
Oh capone, how do you think the lima bean got into TSM's tummy? Men! So silly!
:-) ren
bonkler - do you know which ones you need?
CAPONE!
lnelson - do you want fireworks?
lol, not entirely sure no
sure
Can i call you in a bit to talk about names Cap hun or are you going to bed? :)
I want to see fireworks for lnelson
and whats really bad... dinner has passed into the nether zone.
**F**I**R**E**W**O**R**K**S** for lnelson
You're really sick, Cap
1st co4/5
Okay - do you have the one that is a group of singers - a consonant? and its plural?
I need sleep. We can talk about it this weekend.
YAY lnelson!
Thanks ren!co4/5 -- think of a group of singers (perhaps of the mormon tabernacle sort) sans an 'h'
The da 5/12 are related. The first is the plural of a 4. The second is the four with a double consonant in the middle.
OMG am done. record time for me. sleepy time. nitey nite.
co5/12 is plural of co4/5
YAY cliffopa! Congrats on new personal best!
Bravo Cliff
I'm sick Am? Aren't you the one that went swimming in the lake of poo after watching Jackass on MTV?
HI all!!! ok, odd to log on. 1. is it dog day? 2. is that an ultrasound?
**F**I**R**E**W**O**R**K**S** for cliff!!!!!

Hi smaller - it is pets day and yes that is an ultrasound
rofl, your fantasies are a little too vivid I think, Cap
Hello smaller, almost yes, and yes. It's pet day.
I 'm not a dog person, so I posted my cats. Revelation is the black one, Pedro is the gray.

renny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HI MM. Capone ate his son? Mine's too caked in mud. It's tough to even go near him.
1st co 4/5 is something you wear in the winter (if you happen to live wher there is winter) not....
i said a word, i said a word....
yes its true, I ate teh baby.
Okay all. i'm going to bed. I have to teach in the morning - a rare thing for me. I typically teach the afternoon/evening classes. I'm facing 6 =18month - 3 year olds 1st thing. Need to have my energy.
LOL Smaller - yes it's an ultrasound
Just about to finish my first ever Babble! Need a lil help with aw6/36....
Hey Stid(underappreciatedhardestjo bonearth or aka)mama!

Hi Amerine!!!! I've never seen you before! Nice to meet you!!! i have 38 words. I'm done right? no more than that?
Amerine is TSM sis
BRB, kid needs fever medicine...
yay smaller!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's okay, bonkler. I missed the french word for black, for crying out loud.
Amerine is my sister yes
Yep. I'm not on here much, I have a phobia of becoming an Babbleaddict. And yes, I'm TSM's sis.
Renny, thanks for supporting my delusion! i can always count on you!!!
Thank you!!! I think being a starfish would be lovely, btw.
hey - i'm the queen of delusion!!!!
Ahhh, Well Amerine, congratulations on your future Auntieness!
G'nite MM ((**HUG**))

Yep Ren - I don't know if the coffee will help more before or after class. Probably need both.
i need a co5/12. i have the group of singers (minus the 'h') and i have the artist's crayon.
Thank you Smaller! May I always be known as the "young pretty aunt" lol
thanks GW (((hugs)))))) back.
Renny, I'm such an overachiever, I now have 40. I'm sure Dr. God will be thoroughly impressed. Hey would should have Babbler of the Month!!!
hello all -- TSM, what a beautiful baby! Just dropped in for a quick hello, and was hoping ultrasound photos might be up. It's astonishing and wonderful how so many of us around the world feel a sense of kinship simply through this game, and the chat log. Anyway, congrats again to you and capone! Is it official -- a boy? girl?
when you drag in here tomorrow mm - we will all be kind....
Actually its all a lie. TSM is really a fat bald 40 year old guy named George that lives at home with his mom and Amerine is his 38 year old brother Stan.
Bonkler - do you have the one that goes with terra co***
LOL capone!
yup, gotta terra
:P Cap, delusional as always...
HI CH1212!!!
co5/12 = pluralize co4/5
Too bad you got a fat bald 40 year old guy pregnant then
hi smaller! anyone need a clue?
smaller - youl will get you picture posted and a dnner for 2 at billy bob's crawfish kitchen..
yea I know. Im so ashamed of myself.
cant really tell yet... I think its a boy but not sure
Ren, is it chocolate coated?
i need helppppppp i'm stuck in the c-son of plenty...and need to get out!!!!
Ignore TSM, shes a bit out of it atm. It will be a boy and I shall call him Cletus
chocolate coated crawfish????? dessert is chocolate jell-o
:D renfield -- which ones do you need?
why is "awos" not a word? as in "i need my bow and awos b/c I"m Wobin Hood"
co 4/6's 1st 3 co 5/12's 1st co 6/21
CLETUS?! Are you from the South? Do you remember that country-western parady singer named Cletus T. something or other?
Cletus hun?
I'll brb. Don't tell anyone, but I've gotta go get some chicken mcnuggies and caramel dip. I know that mcd's is the devil, but I gots the cravings.
Cletus T Judd I'm from Jesery, WESTwood, to be exact
mab oh mab where are you???fred and ginger are coming on the tube!!!!
Oi lnelson, that's a humdinger of a craving?!!!!
I'm back. Man, this parenting thing really gets in the way of my socializing! [grin]
first co6/21 apartments that you own but swat out the 'd' for a cross consonant
bring us back some yohurt lnelson...smaller wants chocolate yogurt
at any rate, I need sleep. see you nuts tomorrow. nite Am. nite Toes (luv ya much)
smaller -- if you have nothing against mcdonalds, you should definitely try the caramel dip! they're there for the apple dippers, but they're even better with the mcnugs
good night capone
okay, renfield, here goes... co 4/6 - one is a plural fish, the other is same 3 letters with first vowel at end. co5/12 -- film no** with a c, actor Tom Co***, same first 4 letters with 4th vowel... then plural that last for your co6/21.
thanks bonker!!! nite capone
I am turning in for the night -- too tired to chat much :) Be back tomorrow (*HUGS for all*)
i'm surprised humdinger wasn't bleeped. it sounds sexual by nature. lnelson, don't worry if it's a sugar vehicle, I shall certainly try it!!!
good night (((Grey Woulf)))
'nite capone, night GW. Sleep in peace and joy.
nite wolfie
Night CAp :)
((((((Grey Woulf))))))) Sleep well and dream deep right back at cha!
i have 44 words! I'm on top of the WORLD!!!
the 3 co5/12 words, i got two (with some help) a group of singers, like the mormon tabernacle (but without the 'h') and the other i got was a co*** crayon
renfield, if that clue about the actor Tom is too weird, try this: the definition is "a short story or novella"
hey bonkler- cool name!
go smaller! go smaller!
Ok I am about 13 weeks right now and I think they dont so unltashounds until 21 weeks but I have had some problems lately so they wanted to do one... make sure all is well

TSM, glad you got the ultrasound then, and please keep us posted if there are any complications. Between everyone here and our various prayer traditions on all sides of the globe, we'll have you and baby toe wrapped in good thoughts.

nite ch1212!!!! be nice and give renny the ca! and then be even nicer and give me the rest!!!
good night ch1212
oh, that ca6 ... it kept me up too, renfield. Okay, it uses the double tile and that makes it a bit confusing. ca + curvy + dbl + 2nd vowel. Really can't be plainer than that... now to bed - nght!
yay bonkler!!!
ca 6: alternate spelling for what wine is stored in, uses the special two-letter tile...
thank you thank you! ren ca6...sounds like the poe story the ca.... of amontillado. or something you'd bury the departed in, using the double letter and dropping the 't' at the end
hey hey everyone!
ty ty ty ty ty ch ty ty ty ty smaller ty ty ty ty std i'm a happy person now......
thanks for the clues ch1212 and stid(spitcleanseverything aka)mama!!

ren - kristin need any clues?
renfield -- so, your eyes are we 5/22? Did you know that's most of the aw 6/36?
aw 6...i'm a little dense tonight....today...ok...all the time...

kristin, oh there aren't any more than that. You're done. Dr. God lied.
I prefer biking and skiing and swimming to running
Two A-M? Wow, you're seriously Babbliefied!
or rather stubborn :-)
ren if you're tired you might be we***, if you're poetic you'd put an'a' on the front
Andy...good for you for being done-usually it's you and I and a few others sweating to the end. No clues yet, still seeing what I need. You know me, I'll hollar! :)
ok!!! i'm poetic!!! thanks!

kudos mrpresident...nice helmet! a fine melon headed meow there
thank you thank you!!
thanx i cant believe how narrow my vision is today. I have 90 words but ive been working all darn day.
Could someone give me some help with so 8/50 and nu 6/21 please?
so8 a women's fraternity analog with the 'r' replaced with an 'n'. musical quality
hi elfie nu 6 = nu* (like pecan or pea***) + to have already eaten
so 8/50 sounds like wonen's university club change 3rd letter
so8/50 -- go to thesaurus.com and look up "volume". it's in there.
ar 6 is not fun... a + *** Rogers (film cowboy and singer) + single hump consonant + cross letter
thanks stid...i love *** rogers movies!!!!!
ar6 um, ar + a child's plaything - t and the ultimate degree - h (if that makes any sense)
good clue bonkler!
Wow! Thanx, those were hard-never would of figured it out.
I'm taking a quick break, back soon!
k stid.
nu6/21 if you are exposed to radiation you might begin to change or mu**** replace the m with an n
ar6 - anagram of troyan
what about some help on co 5/12 and 6/21 (the ones right next to each other)? Thanks!
sorry, late on the clues today!
co5/12 and co6/21 terra co*** then addd an e
kristinc - account in Italian or co*** sounds like apartments but not the rented ones but owned ones change 4th letter
co 5/12-a small house and 6/21 add an e
that was co5/12 co 6 is a plural
where were you this weekend mrp? i did fireworks for a lot of people!!!
oops, oops! Thanks but I didn't see ther are two pairs of co5s and co6s. I need the middle pair (so sorry!)
How about so 6/33? This puzzle is driving me nuts.
:) every day should be pet day :)
Hi Ren..!! Been flat out stupidly busy!! Soccer and netball started, and party for my son is on the cards...
co5/12 and co6, google: "helena hellwig per" "mio"
i have 3 more pets to go...hi hurshy
so6/33 a lady pig's auto!
so 6/33 - pigmobile
so6/33 plant seeds + automobile then plural for the so7
wow mrp - you are a busy type socer/ netball mom!!!! what kind of bd party are you going to have?
agreed, hurshy! Hello to you...I have another kitty that looks almost like yours (medium long hair though) and her dark coloring meant she was too dark to be a workable icon so she was upstaged by her brother.
thank you lnelson (so embarassed--I hate asking for erroneous clues)
i have 2 other kitties, marty is on display on sudoku, and mitten has been on display on each site at some point. this is cinder.
krisitn co5 and 6 an apartment that you purchase trading in the 4th letter for a cross consonant then plural
I'm way slow, but I did get it... thanks to all...now I have to go take care of the daughter with the sprained ankle(5 years old). I found 69
The birthday party is at this huge kids entertainment place at the RSL where video games and bowling and climbing arcade and everything is in the one place... and food and cake and fun and I don't have to clean up!!
elfie - icon SOOO cute
well kris...i'm going to upstage you..i need a ta 4....i have the ski place, and the little fellow....what am i missing?

hello oggy, or if I remember correctly, bore da!
Go Kevin!
good job Kevin, a lot of time now which ones?
Kevin, you can do it!
so 8/50 so 6/43 so 7/48 un 5/14 un 5/18
how was 2nd food group, stidmama ?
going to work soon, just waiting for the new grid.
so 8/50 - female fraternity - just flip 3rd letter to anotehr consonant
so 8: like a fraternity, only for women, change the first r to n
Kevin I think you mean so 6/33 a female pig + a vehicle so 7/48 is a plural of the above
un 5/14: put an s on the end of the previous...
so 8 = so* (opposite of daughter) + either ** + new york c***
missing a co 5/12
un 5/14 is plural to the one above it and un 5/18 drop consonant and add sometimes vowel..
S'no good all ths virtual food talk I now need the real stuff......mmmmmm tea 'n toast with my mates homemade damson jam.....brb
already have co**e and Co**a
un 5/18 change the final s of the previous to the sometimes vowel.
un's un 5/14 = un 4/6 - plural un 5/18 = un 4/6 + sometimes vowel
try co*** - same as French for black, replace first letter
I had yummy peach sorbet, and a couple left-over pancakes from dinner.
tbear, send some over.
And... it worked! I'm awake again.
co 5/12 with 4th vowel ending
stid mama - will you stick around after flip?
For a little while, I really like getting a head start on the new puzzles.
same here, but not for long have to get up early
I am actually doing pretty good for only a little while to do it, over half
Way to go Nat! That's a good amount in such a short time!
Nat, then stick around for next one as you are on the roll
I just know I'm 4 short, and I don't know what I'm missing. Thanks for all the help.
thanks stidmama
Kevin - how are you doing there?
I have conte and conto missing other co 5/12
Kevin -- look for missing plurals!
that was my plan, I wasn't going to play this one, I just couldn't sit back and not play
co 5/12 like the beginning of small english country house
