My goodness, I didnt know he was having surgery. My gran has just had her cataract removed on Friday. My brother had surgery on his knee on Wednesday and I stabbed myself on the hand with a screwdriver - an accident. Its been a rather hectic week and a pleasure to have a short grid.

Yeah, I only feel it is such a shame. And so totally unnecessary. The solution is simple enough. All that would happen if the cursor were to jump back to the Add Word box, would be an occasional error when you enter your chatmessage into the word box. That would only bother yourself. And you would notice, because you hardly ever enter one word messages in the chatlog. Ah well, if he wants to be stubborn about it, it is his site, so he is within his rights. A shame though.

I find it easier to tie a knot for a button. You can also just hold a tail of thread on the back side and stitch over it to secure it.
exactly. just think, do you really want to be sewing that button on again? make it good and you won't have to. That's how I think, LOL! : )
For embroidery the 'rule' (whatever that means) is no knots on the back. In competition you lose points for them.
For quilting you hide the knot between the layers by popping it through the fabric.
Where else can yu find a five minute discussion on how to sew a button to a shirt. This game is great!!!
For a button - I say use a knot.

I have done quite a bit Evanonut and enjoy it. I do crazy quilting which incorporates all the embroidery stitches and fine needle work. It is a Victorian sewing style.

Something that's curious is that there are two C's next to each other, and both of them could start two C words, but the tile stats says one C starts one of the words, and the other C starts the other word. You could just as well say one of the C's starts two words, and the other C doesn't start any!
