hmm, we need a rule that says no fair saying words unless u say one that I dont have, so I can steal it
Has my picture change worked? It shouldn't be an owl anymore.
Ooh, that rule would be awesome... if we all knew what words you didn't have yet?
But I like the thought process.
nope, my rule is better - if you are going to type a word into the chat log, it has to be one that works!
Excellent, I see it has :D Anyone got the ten yet?
Yes, I do! me10
me10- plural of me9- the process of going between two opposing parties to reach a mutal agreement
Thanks knut, got it now.
I thought you were going to bed.....LOL
Miss ABS, did you get my message at 1:26?
THANK YOU now I am down to 96 words to go and I am off to my bed... good night to all...

As her Grammie, I can av4/7 that she is very bright and cheerful!!!!
She said she would miss you -- are you retiring or what?
Okay, g'night everyone, I'm off to bed (or at least, I'm off my computer) have a good night (morning, day, afternoon, evening, whatever)!!!

You've handled them all very well - the good ones and the naughty ones!
Oh yes -- and your icon is the wonderful Calvin and Hobbes
Thanks Jilli. It's always nice to hear feedback.
It is, I adore Calvin and Hobbes! They make me smile.
Too bad they're gone
I miss reading the new ones in the weekend papers.

Well, I have never seen it spelt that way!
well considering Internet isnt allowed then anything is possible
It seems to vary - I've seen ts, cz and tz. So endless possibilities it seems.
Ditto Haz but not with that variant in the middle, but this is babbleland after all!!
hey guys
I know the ending for the male offspring is 'ovich' but maybe the daughters are less frequently referred to and therefore not so well known.
Oh to have simple names :-)
But then the Russians probably think 'Smith' is a mouthful!
Those Russians - sheesh! :0D
Just found the va6 & 8 combo - if you were playing with a toy car you might make this noise.

Hey amanda I'm finding it hard word today but that is me not the grid
Good morning amanda.
Here's a babble anecdote for you all: within 24 hours, I ran across 2 babblets while reading - orts and weet! Unfortunately I couldn't remember what they meant...

Good morning all. *wave*
Hi quoth! Stid's in the grid today!

Time for me to be off things to do, see you later. Happy Babbling!
Demi is not in the dictionary.. obviously no homebrewers around.
Bye Fmitch - see you later.
Bye Mitch! How many words are there today?
214 words
7's, 8's, and 9's are easy today thanks to the "ion"!

Wow, we are all desperately looking for words, aren't we!
hellllllooooooo?
BOO!!!!
lol
good morning everyone. How's the grid today?
Ooo - you scared me, marso! I thought I was all alone here!
Hi Eva! First 100 or so went ok, now I'm looking at the wall, I think
hmmm-doesn't sound so good. yesterday's was a delight.
There's some nice, easy biggies though - and some biggies that evidently aren't so easy. At least I haven't found all of them yet
good day (from a long-lost babbler)
Cliff! Where've ya been?
Hey cliff! I was just wondering about you last night!
friend with terminal cancer, 2 pet medical emergencies, packing up my son's stuff, trip to Alabama for his Air Force commissioning ceremony, and yard work.
hope you've all been well. i've missed babble.
Wow! That's a load...
wow. How is your friend doing? Are the pets okay? It must have been wonderful seeing your son.
firend is no longer able to eat, but is trying to hold on for a big party on Aug 12th. pets are now fine. loooovvved seeing my son - hated saying goodbye again tho. he is now at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
Your friend sounds like a truly remarkable man.
very hard to watch tho!!!
he never ceases to amaze me. the doctors all predicted that he only had several weeks. he said he has been able to make it this far because of all of his many caring friends.
very hard to watch marso, you are right on that.
temple-babblets!
it is cliff,,,i have watched it twice now
I have also gone through that 3 times now.
Each situation is a world of its own. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone cliff.
this is a real stinker of a grid!
thank you so much. i have found so many supportive people through babble. hope i can return the favor someday.
you do already. Just by reminding us of what life is all about
:)
I wish I'd never started this puzzle. There cannot possibly be 214 words in it.
i'm feeling as though i've never played babble before eva - i'm not seeing many myself.
Eva - have you found the io4/4 which is a word in itself, but which ends lots of the other words?
I hadn't haz. Thanks for giving me some dbadly needed direction!
Hope it helps!
it already has a lot!
*curls up on a couch*
That's good. Good morning leigh!
Morn..
Hi leigh!
Hi
Haz- I have family in Ballymena...I never realized you lived there.
Good gracious! I've lived here for 24 years - still a blow-in!
I'm missing 2 v's - have 1 8-9 combo and 6 4's... help?
Heh. My grandma is from Portglenone.
Have you ever visited over here, leigh?
Once, about 7 years ago. I loved it.
amada-how about a clue for the long v's?
(you'll have to excuse me if I disappear for a little...I'm currently battling some bad nausea)
That's amazing - quite a coincidence. Hope you feel better soon.....
Thank you...
never mind-found them
va6/30 and va8/65 - do you have these, amanda?
hmmmm - a country full of peace-signs?
that's what I'm missing has - *goes to find them*
thanks again haz!
You're welcome Eva - you sound more cheerful....
If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?
well-I've made it to 100 and am waking up a bit, but can't say I see a whole lot more. I'm sure it will come though.
Testing?
Good Morning All, Haz, I do not have the ones you just mentioned, may I have a clue please

clues for the 9's an 10 please
clues for the 9's an 10 please
Are we all having issues?
Just back after the issues. The me9/66 and me10/84 refer to the use of a go-between to bring harmony to a conflict situation.
I think it's the server that's having the issues
thanks Haz
Stid - you are in the babble!
You're welcome, periwinkle.

Anyone have a cure for nausea.....?
Either ginger or peppermint are reckoned to help.
leigh - ginger tea or ginger ale might help
other than 7-Up and soda crackers, you mean?
wha do think is causing it
I dunno. My mom thought it might be because I took the vicodin on an empty stomach..
that might be it
This is soooo bad.
leigh - have you actually been sick?
A little. And I need to get sick, but nothing comes out because there's nothing left in my stomach.
leigh, if you have nausea, it might be cause you ate something bad and actually getting it up may help.... lots of water now....
hi mr p :) an anyone i missed
You may just need to rest - if it's worse when you move around it could be related to an inner ear problem. Why did you need to take the vicodin?
I had a tooth pulled.
well, that explains it!!
It's probably related to the tablet then. It will pass, but it's not pleasant.
I'm going to go for now. Thought I could play and it would help distract me, but it's not helping much. Thanks for the advice, everyone. I do appreciate it. Perhaps I will be back later.
Good morning all. Please note my standing in the rankings. Finally made it to 1030. Hope I can stay there, casue have to give a Detroit tour today and review my facts yet. I was hoping for a short grid today. Oh well.
take care of yourself leigh/
Go back to that couch, and curl up, leigh.
good morning everyone. off to get a shower. must get ready for work but had to take a look at the grid (am I addicted or what?)
Congrats, inge! And thanks. Happy babbling everyone...
you're addicted, judy. It doesn't take long.
Afternoon all!
Good afternoon, sprite.
Hi Sprite! Have fun with Hurshy yesterday?
Lots of fun! It was so nice meeting her in person!
That's great! Judy - love your teapot!
my entered words are not sorting alpabetically - just in the order I havve enetered them. I only came on 15 minutes ago. Anyone else got that problem?
lynxxx: no, not me, only just started and all are in alphabetical order.
try refreshing lynxxx - I think you came on right when the server hiccupped - maybe that's why
can one of you pros tell me how many words from each of the o's - I can't find my last 2
8 from the left, 4 from the upper right, 1 from the lower right.
thanks sprite - maybe that'll help...
Formless: amorf? Not valid though.
Good morning all, any clues for to6/21?
aroma therapist = aromist? won't take either...
Hi Marc!
Hello amandacath, was your clue for me?
nope - I'm looking for that word now...
t6 = widely distributed European titmouse with bright cobalt blue wings and tail and crown of the head
A mouse with blue wings... no wonder I cannot find it.
hmmm, I'm not up on my titmice, Kateq...
Thanks, got and it ends with a word for a womanns breast.
google is my friend
Thomas the tomcat plays with the To6.
And now I want avatar.
I'm still getting nowhere on the o's. Have everything from the righthand ones, from the left all I've got is grain, the non-foul, and the roman harbor (I hate o-words!)
I tried avatar too, Sprite!
amanda, do you have Oi5 thin-walled spores produced by fragmentation in certain filamentous fungi? Oi + greek for through.
no, don't have that *calls greek monkeys*
greek monkeys are also my friends
Gooooood monkeys!
*~*~*~FIREWORKS!~*~*~*
Yay MrP!
Almost the same word: Os5, small opening or orifice, as in a body organ or passage. Also plural. WTG mrP :)
Well, I'm off.... bed is calling!! night all!
Night mrP
sleep well, MrP!
Ah, that plural is my roman harbor, Sprite - I'm giving up on the o's for now - too much monkeying
I am cranky because iwis is almost there.
etwi is almost there too - or is that one of the alt. spellings?
amanda, do you have the singular of the harbour?
yep, got that one from your clue
I believe it is either etui or etwee, and neither is there :(
Oh, and the singular of the oi too!
And On+S4
Any clues on st6/33?
but almost! I just found a strange n - sounds like the beginning of a region in Spain
Marc: one of the divisions of a poem, composed of two or more lines usually characterized by a common pattern of meter, rhyme, and number of lines
Hey, found the V8 :)
V8 - yummy!
Oh, another V8, and a 9! Nice grid :D
So what clues for the long v?
One is Va + R6/24 The other is distribution or arrangement of a system of veins, as in a leaf blade or the wing of an insect (+ plural for the 9)
There is an incredibly rewarding ending in this grid. Gave me lots and lots of long words :)
all the long ones end the same today!
(pretty much)
I do have one 7 that has another ending. Past tense. Lots of vowels. Catty sound.
and one 8/9 pair....
Oh yes, that beautiful Tz pair :)
Pair? got Ivan, but I it won't take anything I've tried for Catherine...
Did you find Mi7/44, to speak erroneously? And no, the pair was plural and singular, not man and wife, alas.
Thanks, Sprite I finally got st6/33;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;
?
I am sorry i don't know why there are all the semi colons.
cat on the keyboard again?
amanda: tz8/80 and 9/102, daughter of Iwan, or even a wife.
NO cats
Marc doesn't even need monkeys, lol.
found the m, that's an odd one. Will have to monkey with those Iwan offspring (that will be my last 9, when I've figured itout)
I have the st5/12 with s in front of what a watch tells but I need a clue on the other one? Don't understand the monkey comment?
Sprite, I have a lot of friends in Vlodrop now. I was there last year at this time and I love Holland.
I have Ivan, but not his wife, or any plurals...
Ah, found it - had tried it with each of those consonants in the ending, but not with both!
S + past tense of what you do with laces. I meant you don't need monkeys if you have such a smart cat. Nice you've been to Holland!
wtg amanda!
sprite - are we looking for the daughers name as part of the TZ clue ?
I'm missing 2 more 7s.... I have: ed, en, ev, mi, na, or, ra, tu... what am I missing?
Thanks, Sprite got it. I don't have cats and realy don't want monkeys.
pa, Grace - it's completely unlike the others
Mi x 2, see 7.14 am
And pa7/36, ends in what the watch tells.
lynxxx: the Tz-words are daughters of the T4.
I have the mi7 mi+sa5/16....
Grace: in that case you need what the cat said.
the tz words also have a 4-point word in them
I meant 4 point letter
thanks sprite - don't think I would ever have come up with that one! It uses all the vowels, btw, just for useless babble-trivia
I can't find any of the tz words except the four letter
Yes, it does, it's a kind of fun word that way :)
matty do some monkey typing. You know the 4 letter start, that there's a 4 point letter in there somewhere and that you can put a plural ending on it.
the other tz's are 8/80 and 9/102 - you should be able to monkey it from the values
cool thx sprite...
tz + first vowel + race an engine + one hump letter and a vowel then plural
gotta run for a bit...back later!
Got to go, see you guys later. Happy hunting!
informational question: is that the title of the t4's daughter? bye Sprite!
Finally got it - strange.
See ya Sprite, Grace ...
abe, it's the daughter's title or the heir's wife's title - I think
interesting...i am now pushing the "memory" button on my brain...thanks Amanda
my brain has stopped working at 167 words - I'm going to the list
you can do it Amanda ( i just started so i have to pump the brain for a few more hours)
anyone got a clue for the TO6/21 plz?
oh, that was that stupid bird.... boy's name + breast
ty amandacath, FIREWORKS!
Yay jakes-mum! and yw
Any clues for os6/24?

not likely, but it sound slike a fun time!

Hey Temple. My brother and my dad went to Lehigh - have you ever been to Nearfest?
no matty - i haven't heard of that.
Good afternoon/morning all. 42 left to find so I'd better get stuck in again.
I've only got 44 - I dream of 42 left :-)
hi haz and katie
I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but does anyone have a clue for the MA 5:12 please?
Hello Temple Owl!
good morning everyone from hot and steam new york!
that's exactly what I'm monkeying now, Sue. Hi Annie
ma5/12 - same ending as the measurement taken from around your middle.
if you say so, haz - very strange word...
Thanks Haz - my monkeys didn't come up with it even for extra bananas.
I know, strange but true.
i think this is proving to be a hard grid....
It's a lot harder than yesterday's and strangely enough, I'm having more trouble with the shorter words.
How many words are there today?
Same here.
214 words.
FIREWORKS!!!!
Congrats!
wow, wtg Amanda!

Hi Ping

just checking on the word count for today - 214 hmmmm
hi ping!
leigh, are you sick or pregnant?
You can't tell me you just came in to check the word count and you won't enter in one tiny little word or two. =P
And I was sick. Took a vicodin in the middle of the night on a very empty stomach. It came back to haunt me!
ow...that sounds bad, leigh...hope you're better soon
(i joined in the icon theme, ev'ryone! two days in a row!)
do you feellike you wnt to do one of my phantomwords here?
Thank you dorens!
And I already did. Yuck!
it will get better....and i don't know what you're taking vicodin for, but you do reallize it may not be in your system now, right?
Oh, it most certainly isn't. I can feel my gum throbbing! I had a tooth pulled Tuesday morning. =: It's getting a lot better though!
Good Morning (at least for me) everyone! Had a dentist appointment this morning. Just got to work. Things are slow here, so I just may have to Babble. lol
you'll get through it....and maybe something friendlier than vicodin can help you now, if it's been two days
Hi Judy!
good luck judy
Indeed. I just was using it to help me sleep.
Hi, leigh. So sorry to hear you're still under the weather. Did the vicodin upset your stomach? (Sorry if you already answered that and I missed it)
ahhhh. well, better luck tonite
thx Dorens. Another 200+ today and my Type A personality makes me want to finish it!
Yes it did. Pretty badly. Now I've learned my lesson though. *giggle*
hmmmm one of my favorite bakery/coffe shops is in here, and they won't allow it
Only had a cleaning today, leigh. Nothing major, but my gums are sore. I feel for you. [pats leigh on head]
yeah, judy i'm the same way....on a mission here, now that school is out ....when they ask how i spent my summer vacation, the sad thing is that i spend three hours a day or so on this site. but i AM seeing a lot of fireworks
Clever Kettles Ping!
I will be busy at work later this month, so I have to enjoy this Babble time. I'll be freakin' when I can't get to the grids until the evening and probably won't be able to finish them. [I'm hyperventilating already]
Maybe there will be a string of baby grids for you!
sure hope so leigh

Oh, I didn't even see that!
glad to help [chuckle]

**puts out bowl of chips and onion dip**
thx abe. How nice of you!
Lucy, want some?
*starts munching*, thanks abe!
yw, and if you have them with a salad, the calories are cancelled out
what wonderful logic, abe. I'll go with that.
All done. *curls back up on a couch and eyes the grid, then ponders getting the list*
Judy, the sad part is that i actually have a salad for lunch, with no chips :( Hi Leigh
I always crush my chips so the calories run out.
'lo Abe
I must get more words before looking at the list. Where's lola with our pink babble martinis?
Wow, Cherry! You people are experts.
great idea Cherry!
"Necessity is the mother of invention."

phantom word: avatar
tz8 is an odd spelling for wife/daughter of the tz4/9, but it uses that v.
He's bringing it over...the dentist said it would be good for me to have. He went to work for me this morning, so I have to wait until someone else shows up at work.
anyone got the va,8 clue?
that's the kind of dentist I need!

TheFiz - just checked your profile, and we're the same age, so, if you don't mind my asking, when is your birthday?
DONE...anyone need a clue??
the 5s are killing me today
wtg, ouwa!
wahoo ouwachita
10/16. Libra. You?
10/01! Hooray for October birthdays!
Go Ouwa!
Congrats Ouwa!
(Movieman - we
're the same height too)
22nd February, 1978, so I'm a Pisces.....although I am unable to swim......LOL
Bloody hell, TheFiz, there's a coincidence......
that's my 100 with all of your help-Thanks and see ya
CiociaJudy...where in PA?...I am in PA too
Schuylkill Haven, Ouwa
see ta Cherry
i'm a 10/01 too, but a little older
<<North of Scranton, near NY border
It's a good birthday, no matter what the year!
Movieman - my son is Aspie too :)
good old I-81, Ouwa!
Haw Yinz Doin'? I'm from Pgh....
on the way to my friends in owego...
i went thru owego last night
that's a mess
Okay....90 left, I think I can go get the list..
Lucy - that's very interesting to know, so what does he have difficulty with? In my case, it's meeting new people and new experiences in general......
i'm going for the list, too
afternoon all!
definitely those - anything social is a tribulation. Has a lot of trouble expressing and reading emotions, social cues, etc.
hi evaN!
MMMM, Kettle corn!
great minds think alike, Evanadine
wish i had some right now!!
That seems to be rather a common trait amongst Asperger's suffers.....
we are very lucky though. he is still young and we found a wonderful school that is JUST for aspie, add, etc., kids. classes are very small (10 or less), and the teachers work very closely with the kids, paying careful attention to social development. Of course, costs a fortune, but it's worth it. He's so much happier there.
Also, folk with Asperger's tend to only have one or two interests, in my case it's movies (as if you needed to know), and music......
We think my dad is Aspie too - his feeling is that after 50, who cares if he's a little weird and antisocial. He says he's looking forward to the transition to "eccentric" as he ages.
;) great thinking Fiz
I think he may move out of the house and into the garden - his "thing".
The cat wants feeding, be back in a mo.....
in my son's case - it is VEHICLES of ANY kind
My friend's son is like that - he's 12, I've known him since he was 5 - he can't remember my name so he calls me Hyundai.
interestingly, most of the Aspies I know love cats and not dogs
Fiz- Do you drive a Hyundai?
it's bugs at our house (8yr Aspie)
More laid back in their affection? Less pushy with love? (yes, leigh - sadly, the same one)
anyone have any clues on the mi,7,40
ah, mine is 7 yrs
Well, I think that's interesting. I mean, he could call you Peugot or something. But it's your car, and he remembers that about you...
in my boy's case, the cat is quieter! :) he has a major aversion to loud noises.
Aidan refuses to flush the toilet. He says it makes his head explode!
Camig, my son's Aspie best friend lives for bugs too
Misu - it's the sound a cat makes, past tense.....
I just looked at that asperger's syndrome test for kids. Almost like looking in a mirror.....
Misu (and spelled INSANELY)
Afternoon from sunny Wales
Well you don't want that, Camig! Better to flush later....
Lucy, it seems to be a them with quite afew of them
yes, head explosions are quite bad
Hi Caitlyn. Cloudy and muggy in PA.
right
Everyone who comes here knows to look before you sit!
ha!
I had i liking for bugs and creepy-crawlies when I was a kid as well!!!!! I used to collect snails by the bucketful.....
mine is currently begging for a snack, brb
wow, cant say i've come across that spelling too many times

Hi takuma
hello Takuma
yuck I know
hi takuma
but it needs to be done and will help the sell of the house I'm sure.
I haven't tackled anything new since the dining room. Probably will do one more room in the fall before it gets too cold to have the windows open. I'm thinking about our bedroom.
wesnurse
Oh no doubt fresh paint always helps. Just be careful with that basement. Don't want you falling again!
Oh Music you really should do your bedroom you will be so happy when it is done
LOL thanks for your concern. I have my handrail up now.
I can't decide what color. The carpet is very light grey so many things would work in there
any clues for the first ra 5/10 & ra 6/18 pls?
what color is your bedcovering?
Lots of rooms are blue already so I don't want that. Have to be careful of pink because of Greg's sensitivity.
wicker material, alt spelling
ra5/10 wicker

It changes with the season. The winter one is a dark scrap quilt called "It Was A Dark and Stormy Night". The summer one is a cream on cream quilt.

feather, first 3 letters of water armed forces + first *** for injuries
ty
take the me5/14 and add last four letters of the na6 min. This was your clue to me FranMag. I cannot see the letters I need between me and last for letters of na6. I need three letters between me and ending for na6, is that correct?I can't believe I cannot get this!
featherbee, na 6/30 looks like a spanish version of a word for country.I used somebody elses clue for that
a little as*** - my icon is actually an outtake from the movie - you can find it on deleted scenes from sorcerer's stone, although it is a bitch to get to, you have to play a few games to get to the outtakes - but it's priceless rickman - he's lecturing potter face to face & at the end , he looks a little sideways & says, in that voice of his, "wellllll, why aren't you all copying this down?" i can't believe they cut this scene - it's great!!
take the me 5/14 and add the last 4 letters of "country"
min, take the me5/14 which is news me***, add the last 4 letters of na6 which means country
wow, you're doing good on working him into the icons helen!

min, mi7/40 is past tense of the cat sound

wouldn't be so bad, except i'm so slouched he is sitting on my stomach rather than my lap!
e + n 6/18
oops.
bambam, country with internet access.
thanks shade
Sorry, I don't have the mui 4/6 word either FranMag!
mu 4/6 I mean

mi 4/6, boy I really cannot type today! AARGHHHH!
os6/24 is the latin singular of the os5/10, same way that last pair was
mi 4/6 is center line + a vowel

min, it's the daughter of a russian ruler
I always look at how people have scored before me
Does anyone have a clue for the tz 8/80 word please
oh, i think in and out was the one i did bad on too today, kept guessing wrong
Daughter of a Russian ruler? Should I know this word?
Minveryork, the t begins with t 4/9.
Today on In and Out, I saw that Jeorge had done well, and everyone else was pretty far behind him... that told me that it was probably an unusual combo of letters.
I need some help on the mi 7/44.....HELP!!
tz4/9 + anagram of weather va4/7
oooo, good point
Then I looked a the blanks (was it foul play?) and figured that it would be better to start with an O instead of an E...
erda, mi + person who puts money in the bank
And there's the word, plus its plural.
yeah, think it was foul play
then I tried A, and then I was able to guess it
wow!
but if I hadn't looked at other people's scores, I wouldn't have been thinking that way
FranMag, that's a nice clue for the t 8.

Quite a weird one - took me right back to 1st grade when we did the animal noises...
those many vowels in a row should not be allowed!
Except in scrabble...
Makes you wonder who comes up with these words in the first place!
could i please have a clue for: tz 8/80?

many are archaic forms of common words...we know why they are no longer in use!
woops sorry!
clm27, tz8/80 is the tz4/9s daughter, tz4/9 + anagram of va4/7 (weather va**)
clm~think russian ruller + what you do to your car's engine
the tz9 is the plural of course.

Well, Min - you're doing better than I am. I was on for a couple hours earlier and only have 121. But then, I was awfully chatty...

Congratulations Dorens on fireworks!Hooray for you
hi stid
I changed for tomorrow. I hope I'm right - orange??
Tea was very nice, thanks! the Cherry Crisp that Grant and my mother made turned out nicely. Coming home, the cable line was out (and across our driveway). So...
who wants to hear the rest of the Saga?
me! me!
I'm listening [ear to monitor]
we do!
what happened, stid?
ok, one more togo - and i'm sure i'll need the fish passed - but can someone help me with the ti 6/18 - the first one(after the clocks past tense)
i do!
LOL okay, you asked for it!
Oooh Ooh! Mememe!
i do i do
ti + opposed of crazy
debb, an herbal infusion, ti + not crazy
I parked two houses away and let our neighbor know it was my van in her drive. No problem. She started to tell me about a fancy garden art show she will host next month and invited us to attend... so I sent the boys home to feed the dogs and wait for me.
inquiring minds want to know stid! continue
And she was taking me around the garden, and I was admiring the plants and asking questions... and I heard a bellow from home.
yay fireworks!! - it was making me in**** thanks to everyone - yes, sorry for interrupting stid
ti6/18 - ti +sa4/4 - a kind of tea
way to go deb
go debb go!
yay debb!!!!
yay, debbinla!!!!!
congrats!
Went flying (practically) as fast as I could to see what had happened. Like Miss Clavell in the Madeleine books, sure of a disaster, I ran fast -- and even faster!
hooray for debb
YAY Debb!
Deb, nice work, but keep it down, would ya? We're having story time
whoo hoo debb!
good storytelling sid
stid
So Stid - what was it?
and.........................
Jumped up the three stairs to the front door to find Grant in front of me, MAtthew at the back door, and Tom (who had gotten home just then anyway) in between them.
type faster stid
oh, stid, we are waiting!
* on the edge of my seat *
*waiting with baited breath*
and...................................
Matthew was incensed that Grant had played a trick on him and locked one door while he was unlocking another...
go on...
Tom was understandably trying to figure out what the problem was, when other doors were obviously wide open.
....gasp!
Grant was playing the innocent wide-eyed child (as if he didn't know that it would really push Matthew's buttons).
And I broke down in tears.
oh dear
......oh my -- why????
Oh, Stid!
[hands stid some tissues]
but lol at the boys
oh noooo
Congratulations debbinla on your fireworks! Hooray!
oh my goodness
Oh no - Phone! brb
poor debb! YAY!!
(thanks min and everyone else) -- but why stid?
Well -- obviously Matthew is on restriction, Grant is trying to make up for it by being an angel. My knees hurt (the arthritis doesn't like to run) and poor Tom came home to a house and family in disarray...
((((((((stid))))))))
i feel like that sometimes stid!! it was probably relief that no one was hurt!
big hugs to stid
*blows nose loudly on tissues and hands them back to Judy*
......whew!....
thanks for listening. I feel better now.
sometimes ya just gotta let it all out. Really, stid, you didn't need to return them!
Hugs Stid! and lots of aleve for the aches
ROFL stid!
Oh, Stid - did you at least feel better after getting the cry out?
Wow - babbling and therapy all rolled into one!
whoa stid, i was away changing my icon, and it looks like i have to go way back and read this story!!!
eeewww, makes note, give stid box of tissues with no return address!
tears are good for you stid!
yes, better now, but embarassed. I really don't cry very often, so I was perhaps more upset by that than by the rest of it!
look on the bright side, your name is in the grid today, STID!
lovely sunset Dorens. I was thinking of going in that direction, too.
A cry a day keeps the stress away stid! Great story!
don't be embarrassed stid, sometimes you just gotta leak them tears. Keeps the men folk on their toes!
Mommy tears also help the kids calm down for a bit sometimes ..
*singing Free to Be You and Me* "It's alright to cry, crying gets the sad out of you. It's alright to cry - it just might make you feel better!"
what kind of arthritis, stid?
ain't that the truth lbd! my husband doesn't know what to do about it sometimes!
thanks torgone... it sure did get them back under control this time!
Fiz, didn't know you could sing. Sounds great.
I damaged my knees when I was a young woman, have osteoarthritis now. Usually doesn't bother me, but running makes them hurt.
ooh, the orange icons going up are great! i may have to change now too.
Well - thanks Judy. Not sure the neighbors agree...
Fiz, that was lovely! Encora, Encora!
lol yup fran, my hubby hates it when the women at his office cry! he just excuses himself and mumbles something inaudible
Excellent icon, torgone. Thought of that movie but didn't know how to put it into an incon. Very impressive.
I tried typing your name earlier stid, but it is not in the dictionary. You definitely deserve to have your name in the grid, what w/all you great clues&stories!
oh stid, everyone has those times when there are kids in the house....you can cry when you feel like it.....and then later on you cry cause you miss them and all the crazy situations that occur.....
{{{{{STID!!!}}}}
Bummer knees, stid -- sorry
aw shucks, Min -- speaking of which... does anyone need any clues? I've got loads of time since I am just sitting here anyway this evning.

Hi, Hetty.
thanks Jill -- I figure it just makes me be patienter with myself. No use being "brave" or anything. So I just do what I can and let the rest go.
Hetty, how do you feel?
I am back, will try to finish, missed the reason that you were crying stid but will send hugs to you ((((((stidmama)))))). Yes I will be asking for clues too
Hi Peri. We're here to help.
hi peri
hi peri! thanks for the hugs. it was just one of those parenting moments. You know how it goes...
*humming to self* Raindrops from your eyes, hmm hmm hmm"
hi hetty! stid you relax those knees and let the boys fend for themselves - big hugs
peri, it's worth going to the archives for stid's story!
za4 and ze4 ?
raindrops keep falling on my head --- send in the clowns --- just dancing, and singing, in the rain... *drifts off key and cracks voice*
ZE 4 is "nothing" rax
ze = number
zero
THanks for all the TLC. I' home again, glad to be free of a catheter, but very sore.; I'll phone you this evening. Dear babbler friends --I feel uncomfortable but much loved, Thank you all for upholding me. I'll talk tomorrow.
za4 rhymes with another word for upchuck
ZA 4 is Z +what a dog says
za rhymes with throw up (other word)
cool, thx
wrong box, rax
later hetty!!
sorry
okay hetty -- be easy and call or email when you are ready. There is no hurry. I am just so glad you are home. *starts to cry -- happy tears this time*

later Fran... just changed my icon for tomorrow, too.
back to that verse:
mi7/44 anyone
mi plus opposite of miser
Life is not all froth and bubble/ Two things stand alone/ Kindness in another's trouble/ Courage in your own
MI 7/44: M + "one who" puts money aside for later
Jill -- that is an exquisite verse. Who wrote it, do you know?
stidmama, can't figure out the mi7/44 and am tired , anything else you can tell me about it
try a title for young unmarried woman less one "s" + AV 4 peri
mi 7.44 mi plus a person who opens an IRA account
okay I got it with that clue, thanks stid
testing out my new icon too
stid - no idea who wrote it, but it impressed my father so much that he copied it out.
yw peri!
Very cool, Jill. I am going to put it in my "book of pithy sayings" that I keep on my desk. Thanks!
hi feather! refreshing...
tomorrow should be fun to see what people choose
It served him well when he was imprisoned by the Japanese in Hong Kong, 1941-45, civilian internee (word in yesterday's puzzle!)
Mon dieu! "dieu" is not allowed? Zoot alors! Neither is "zoot"?? Sacre bleu!
my college dorm room as a freshman was Orange...
wow stid! must have been...um....bright?

Now I hope everyone will look up my profile to see what my icon is all about...<g>

hi helen
Hi Fran, thanks
nice orange feathers...feather!
hee! (wonder if helen can work alan into the orange theme?)
this season is not as exciting - i think that is because all these 'all-stars' have been there/done that
hiya ping

lbdawger, thanks
peri, one is a giant, one is a plural
the other TI 5/10 is like "boobies" (plural the ti 4)
Goodbye Anniebrook! I'll see you tomorrow in the log!
feather - i don't quite remember, i've used him a couple times in the past, now it's like a little challange - a wee amusement
stid, that's what they call boobies on my mom's island, wonder if that's really what it means?
ti5/14...clocked, 5/10 plural 4/4
got it now jilli, although i had to copy and paste in pieces for some reason!
Good Afternoon Everyone
*off reading, brb*
yw peri
later feather
just looked up that ti4/4, it's a type of shrub or tree
Hello Tiny! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid!
hello Tiny! how has your Thursday gone?
hi tiny!
horrors, we're dressed alike!
brb
ooh seeing double!
i've heard of billyboys before!
LOL
How are you minver and stid it is Friday here at 10 past 12 lunch time but it has been good
I wish it was afternoon for me! I'd have more time to finish this! I have been on since 4:00 my time and I'm not done! I have been doing this quite slowly though!
Hi Fran
okay, i changed while Tiny is on
I have heard of them too -- but never really knew what they were. Thanks for the eddicatin' Jill!
lol, fran just ran home to change into another dress
what can we do to assist min?
oh Tiny -- I keep forgetting how far ahead of me you-all are!
arrgh! on the phone with my mom - whom I love - and she won't stop talking!
ask Mom to help with the grid! LOL
Checking another icon for tomorrow ... this is just a test
go Min go!
that's really nice too faerie! more orange than the other.
We do do crosswords together... maybe it'll

gooo ping!
stid - can't you get new ones? - knee replacements?
thanks, fran!
peri really stands out against the orange!
fran what did you mean were dressed the same
pa6/36
i hear the technology has advanced a great deal stid.
same icon tiny
i had the same icon as you earlier tiny, i went and changed quickly
Stid - she just told me she spends her day sitting in a chair and not moving.
maybe, but I have a real fear of hospitals and such.
so helen, no sneak peeks at orange alan?
fiz, introduce her to babble! she'd be perfect for it!
pa 6/36 is the german tank
like the german world war II tank but with a different third letter
awe sorrry fran you didnt have to change it I would have but it shows GOOD taste
you read my mind feather! i can't wait to see him either
yes, I know it has. But most of the time they really don't bother me. It's running that does 'em in. One of these days, though...
aw, it's nothing to get excited about - he, himself, won't be orange, lol
Oh, feather - she's 89 and has your stereotypical Jewish pessimism - I'm not sure she can handle it. And I'm sure she thinks computers are the devil...
tiny, when two people have the same icon, it's confusing and overwhelming!
helen, have not idea what a german tank is, can you give me another clue pleae
yes, Fiz-- definitely would be a candidate for babbling... does she do computers?
lol fiz, oh well
lol fiz!
oops -- posts crossed in the aether...
pa 6/36, what you cook in, plus the first three letters of the number 0
Back again. What lovely icons. [returning from doing household chores]
The Word That Got Away - or - The Phantom: ersatz
peri, think of a big black cat and change the TH to a Z
peri -- pots and pa**, spell with a 6-point tile, and "one who" ending
hi melon!
just popped in for a quick hi..originally typed "pooped" in..
peri, what you cook eggs in + nada without the o at the end
hi Judy, come and rest a bit... *hands MJCL pot and a mug*
thanks for all the help, got the pa6
pa 6/36 = frying *** + omega + the lone rang**
If you ask how she is, she invariably answers, "functioning". Or - "I'm not getting around too fast, but where I'm going, I'm in no hurry."
the other pa 6/36 is the same, but with a different 3rd letter
hi melon!
aahhh thanks stid. I needed that.
hee, helen, everytime you show up in chat, i sneak a peek at alan to see if he's orange yet
stid, I know many people (at my advanced age and theirs!) who have had brilliantly successful knee replacements. Have some courage -- it can change your life. Don't be scared of hospitals -- there are very kind people there, which I've known MANY times
LOL -- Fiz, my paternal grandmother was similar, but stayed active until she was about 90. Then she just sorta sat down and started to fade away.
hi - i'm sleepy - may not get to the flip. + an overly busy day tom'w.
2nd pa5/12
oooh - i just reloaded this page - the orange icons are gorgeous!
featherbee, i don't get the clue for the other pa ...
thefiz- you need to introduce her to my soon to be 90 year old next door neighbor (mother-in-law of my computer, plumbing, general fix-it guy & mom of the lasagna maker) she always tells me 'don't get old'
Stid, my Dad just had his right knee replaced at 79. Walking much better now.
peri, where you sit outside
peri--you mean veranda, porch, deck, pa***
PA 5/12 # 2: not a porch, but ...
jbp, you got the first one? just change the third letter to a cross letter. instead of cooking in a pa*, you pa* the dog's head
thanks lbdawger and jdp and stid, I knew that word just didn't see it
10 to go
well, one of these days, I will do the knee thing. But not yet.
ok, no one cares...bye
go peri go!
jilli, just read your icon explanation, how fascinating!
Helen - I think she could use a little social stimulation. She was diagnosed with diabetes in September and moved in with my parents - and while everyone is still alive for the time being, it's certainly chafing all of them.
krista? did i miss something?
Go peri ! What do you need?
gooooo peri!!!
Krista-- wait -- did you need something?
bye krista - but no one cares about what?
I am popping back and forth between this and other websites, so missing some of the chat...
Bye Krista! Thanks for "pooping" by!
sorry krista! saw the poop and just didn't have a chance to say anything!!
the chat is moving turbo sped right now, didn't see you come in! i'm sorry!
Missed Krista coming in. Sorry Krista!
2nd pa6/36
wow...that's a word? in English? who knew!
Hey Krista dont go I was busy looking for words
peri, change the N in the first one to a T
peri: just change the third letter to a cross letter. instead of cooking in a pa*, you pa* the dog's head
just like the german tank but change the third letter to the cross letter
peri, that is just like the other, change out the third letter for another
fiz - i hear that -taking care of elderly is so draining & the explanation i get most often for them not wanting to meet new people is that they will all die soon anyway :(
*I think Krista's a little sensitive about being ignored - we need to give a little TLC if she pops by again*
Fran-- I thought so, especially for international word people!
thanks everyone, found the othe pa6
Well, Helen - I think that's what Grandma Ada would say. Where she's going...
yes, it's tough when a person has decided to be "old" and sorta gives up... though I think the apathy can also be a symptom of the diabetes?
what next peri?
I did not even see her entry as I was busy looking for words still need 100
go Tiny go!
yeah fiz - you're right, it's a little hurtful to come in & no one says 'hi' to you - but i always give everyone another chance by saying 'hey, is this thing on?!?!?!' or something like that, lol
go Tiny go
ve4/7
peri, ve** wang
She says that she never felt her age until last June, when she aged 15 years. The diabetes is under control but the loss of independence is taking a toll.
VE 4/7: one of the blood vessels the VE** cava
sigh....no orange alan yet...... still hopefully waiting........ and waiting........ and waiting.......
the first one is ve** cava
ve --norms wife in Cheers
ve + united **tions
thanks, didnt think that was a word
ve - oh, ok stid (show-off quick draw mcgraw) that's exactly what i was going to type!
Waiting for Alan -- wasn't there a play like that? LOL
lovely orange feathers, feather. Did you dye them just for this occasion?
stid, i think that was waiting for Gidot
Krista -- if you're still there (and I see you are by checking "Who's online") -- I've been through that too when everyone is chattering - apologies and please try again
Stid - yeah - but nothing happened!
ai4/4 pls?
well Helen -- so you have time to change and give us the official "sneak peek"
why yes, i did judy! *blushes and turns proudly*
oh, ok i'll go change him, but i'm telling you, it's nothing to get all excited about - basically a variation on what i have today
Godot
AI + first two letters of russian emperor
need one of the firs va4/7 - have the thing that tells the weather
thats right Jill and lbd..
ai --helper
jili - right, that';s what i thought too, godot!
cathar: the assistant is an ai**
I know someone who's kids are named Didi and Gogo.
peri, vehicles for moving things
that was Godot - and let to a hilarious Britcom called "Waiting for God"
va** - not cars, or trunks, but in between
ty...got it
brb, baby wants down from high chair
Fran and helen, thanks
fiz - what planet do they come from?
yes, that was a funny show, Jill -- I loved the old cranky guy on that one...

Yeah, right! It's really Dorothy and Margo, but stil...
The best Britcoms are the best anywhere
one AT + short for mother; the other A + T**dancing

hi lucy!
I know! a twofer :)
st5/10 and st6/33
yes, he babbles when he can.

st 5/10: scots for "rock"
lmao, "a twofer!"
lol...nice fella...how old is he?
st 5 to loock at?
peri, don't st***, it's not polite.
he bragged about u
5/10 bad spelling of what red wine does to white linen
said u always get way more words than he
the st 6/33 is a phrase in a poem
stid, have no idea of scots word for rock

the icon shape is pre-defined. if your image has a different ratio, the computer scrunches and pulls it into the right shape.

Helen it's because there doesn't seem to be a way to tell Dr G or whomsoever to "constrain" the image
hi judy
*pops over* Yay Lucy! *pops back*
helen, if you just make it square it won't be distorted.
helen, if you're photoshopping, just make sure it's a square
hi ping!
no, I don't really, I just go into my paint program when I want a new icon and "crop" to an approximate square...

for In and Out game today, for instance, the first thing I did was check out the scores for people who had gone before me (I play around 9AM, and there are usually a dozen who've already played)...
s + man's neckwear in the past tense min
I then check the scores from yesterday
there once was an o.j. named fligger, who dreamed to be a stick figure. He jumped in the shower and yelled orange power... Then fell and *klunk* cracked his head.
mymuseisme, how can you have the icon if your trial period is up? My icon is just a ghostly looking person!
and I try to see if there are any strange patterns, like today, with In and Out, where the top scorer had 1100 points and everyone else was below 1000
I can't keep up with all this babble - going to get some late supper
min and jilli, I meant the other word game site that nrkii told us about: the problemsite.com
the last ti6/18? and the ti4/4 that follows?
I saw that, have to become a member to play the 3 games that I really like
can I get an F?
i like that site too my muse
Goodnight jillibus! Thank you for the wonderful clues!
It's hard enough keeping up here without othergamebabble!!!!
I figured from that it was a strange phrase.... then I opened the game up, and looked at the spaces and guessed that there would be no E, no R, no S, no T, none of the easy picks... so I started with O, and then ruled out X, and then picked A... then I pondered the phrase __ O __ __ __ __ A __ for a bit and figured FOUL PLAY was a pretty good guess for a farily tough one.
i have boys sorority and plural and not to
nite jilli
sorry jilli, almost done
short point is, sometimes looking at other people's scores can really help how you think about the games
very good nrkii, that one did me in
ok, now i'm really going
(and muse, you can keep playing most of the games without paying)
Does anyone have a clue for the ta 5/12 word please

Oh, I'll be ba-a-a-aa-ck!!!! Maybe even before fliptime! Heheheh, cackle

os 6 is the Latin singluar of the OS 5 which is OS +spanish for "aunt"
min, first 4 letters of the os5 + ending of auditori**
os + musical note that sounds like drink + auditori**

yes Morris wants fish
Jai has been here off and on several times the last few days... I think she was having computer problems for a while.
knutmeg's online somewhere too...
*tosses de-canned tuna to morris*

I have 3165 point now. What word am I still missing?
although since you were cooking was hoping for scrod
almost done - two more the ve8/55 and ve9/72
di 5/22 perhaps Min?
ve+ country and plural
VE + "country" then plural, pbr...
pbr, ve + country (n6)
ve + country(na6/18)
assuming I am correct Min, it's DI +first letter + last letter +vowel
di5/22 is spanish day + first 2 letters of go fast z word
So I need 22 more points stidmama, is that correct?

its looks like its going to another hot day the sun is shining already.

yes Minver lives north of me, I'm a nightcat...lol
what is it, about 5:45 am for you oggy?
blah. hot. blah. as much as I would have preferred no rain today (it drizzled all day long) at least it wasn't hot...
i have to gat up for work.
*wonders what it's like to surf*
oh, that word again! LOL. I never minded getting up early when I could work -- it got my day started, and I love seeing the sunrise and hearing the world wake up.
cats don't usually surf...
I do not remember who live where either stidmama!
the dog across the street surfs, i've seen pictures.
*also wonders what it's like to surf* the only time I even tried waterskiing I fell down three times and never got up!
lol...well that is where the fish are
Goodnight to my fellow Babblers! Thank you for clues!

night min tomorrowthen, pleasant dreams!!
really lib, i guess some of his pictures are on the sites that show surfing highlights
talented dog!
his owner brought pictures over for the kids to see.
that's just too funny, muse! I am far too timid to try it even if the water around here were warm (which it is not)
i think he's a lhasa apso or similar dog.
does he hang 20? :oD
went water skiing once in my 20s on a bet with the instructor that he could get me to stay up on the skis, I lost the bet but it was a lot of fun
lol lib!
i've been poppong in and out all day.. I am still so far off from finishing... too busy daydreaming today.... picture postcard perfect day
brb, baby wants bottle
Good for you, muse! my brother used to waterski beautifully, but I just didn't have the upper-body strength to hold that rope.
hi phish!
hi there
hello phish, and neither did I stid, only did it that once
I used to water ski a lot, til the old knees gave out
anyone want clues before the flip?
it was a nice way for them to drum up business in Miami
well -- you're in Santa Rosa, one of the best surfing areas isn't it?
too late for me. I still have 87 left
If you don't mind Great white Sharks in the Red Triangle
I bet we could get you to almost 50....
I keep typing the same words over and over
do you have the 7s, 8s, 9s, 10
A couple years ago my mother and I took the boys to see her mother and aunt. Went to a little place called Pebble Beach just north of Pismo and walked out on the pier. I always thought sharks were pretty rare. but there was a fin cruising the water just beyond where the surfers were lined up....
they are very common here
and the water is way too cold
that would be enough for me to swim n a pool only
and then the really surprising thing... a dog on a fishing boat was just walking around and all of a sudden a HUGE sealion lunged out of the water and tried to grab him! Poor puppy ran backwards in the air and up to the cabin and hid...
At least the wine is great!
;-)
someone encountered a great white in hawaii last year, very rare around here
Wine goes well with everything... even sand in your swimsuit!
wow stid! that would be scary!
oh no stid, lucky puppy
I had a friend how used to go to the beach with me in San Diego. She never went in the water.
yes, I remember reading about that Fran -- they seem to be getting a bit more aggressive -- or maybe they're just a newsworthy item these days.
I was body surfing when I was 6 months pregnant
hi guys, I thought I would say HELLOOOO before the flip
hi shirin!
hi shirin
hellooooooooooooo shirin!
did you finish todays grid?
????phish???? I bet that was interesting! did your belly act like a keel?
hehehe
My friend's parents came with us once. i thought her dad would have a heart attack!
i guess that phish ending in your name refers to your love of water!
