good advice - just grabbed a bottle. bottoms up!
Especially with cocktails. Lots of stuff to get rid of, lol.
You know, this is a surprisingly small grid considering the letters in it. You'd think there'd be more words in here

speaking of boy's names: be7/36.
i never would have thought enable would take that one
Re7/28: what I wish my boss would do with my salary.
why can't I see the long ones? I have a be6/24 name
plural, jilli?
wow - i got that one mighty quick sprite
nope, the singular isn't there - must be a different name
it's slang for speed
True, sorry
on a related note: te7/28 x2 now
no pl there for my be6
it's a different name jilli
think be.... hill, then plural.
there are 2 be5/24's jilli
also slang for amphetamines
that's what I meant, not speed like fast car
jilli - I cecided to wait up for hubby to get home from bridge - so have been babblinh
*decided
vulcano day
ok, got the other name, speedily - thanks
ce5/16 - now I KNOW that is an abbrev. Why is that valid???
sprite, that's volcano ;)
LOL... sorry jilli! It is vulkaan in dutch!
sounds more sensible in Dutch, sprite!
It makes me suspicious when the kidminders are so close to the drugs police.
thanks for those n's :)

You are a bright star, Krys!

ty sprite
thanks sprite - missed that one
Glad I am not the only one, lol. Isn't it funny how brains work?
i got that one but i'm missing a bunch of B's still :(
I don't think mine is working :)
The boy's name(s) with one vowel less, Krys?
yup
actually, for all my complaining i just finished off teh B's. thanks.
LOL saphyre! Oh yes it is - especially compared with some others!
Not so sure spirte I still have 90 to go
wtg Krys! I am down to 4 and having trouble finding them.
But you had a late start, saphyre!
i'm using Lickety's list so I don't get a "WTG" rating, I'm afraid.
true... I haven't gone to the list yet
hi :) :)
Hi Ata
hi atalante!
I am using Lickety for those last 4 and I DEMAND a WTG rating! Hi Ata *hugs*
haha! the ar7 is a math word!
My favorite for today, Krys!
yes, because there are no K's - we all know how you looooove K words!
I have to show you all this for general amusement - look at the cat on full view! http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/41 130557/
I love your name, Krys, but otherwise... ;)
i have to go to bed now - i can't keep my eyes open anymore
good nite everyone :) & an early WTG sprite !!!!!!!

I can't stop giggling over that photo!
Oooohhh... it is a hero, Ata!
bye helen
True... you are right, Krys.
nite helen
night helen! And thanks :)
is Angb around?
Why do I always end up with S's to find as last ones?
Online, but with her nose in the grid or somewhere else, I think, Ata. She is too quiet ;)
time to go, my cat wants food, she's sitting in front of the monitor, bbl!!!
ahh... A's are done
Any hint on a ca 6/21 , the one before the person who preserves things in tins
Ang! Come and talk! I wanna show you something!
bye MVA
Hi there Ata. You calling me? I was off somewhere els.
ARB: same word, different last letter.
hi! wanted to show you this: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/41 190805/
my Maori picture :) :)
Hello babblers. Any hints on the we7,44?
I can't find ANY of the 8 letter words
plural the ca 5/12, ARB
Do I have to register or something to get in? Said I didn't have permission. I would dearly love to see it!
Really stinko on the long words tonight. No 8's, only 4 of the 7's and only 16 of the 6's
did you copy the whole link? you have to copy each line ... dear Babble!
mkl: rhymes with the last Ca7/32. Comparative.
Swill, it is not a plural!
Hi sprite. Don't even have either of the ca7 letters. Tough on the brain tonight
mkl: it is a comparative with a double cons in the middle.
Hmmm - don't know what happened but seems to be happening. Be back in a while Ata - after the showing!
The link works for me, Ata. Great pic!
ty! your pic is in the queue for the weekend, by the way! I have to Work today and tomorrow. Meh. Boring!
ca7/36 - nasty illnesses ca7/32 - people who put things in tins ca7/32 - what I'd be if I were more in a tin than you
last ca also means shrewder :)
thanks
I hate it when work interferes with my free time ;) Whenever you can find the time for the tattoo, I will be (patiently and drooling) waiting at the mailbox!
I like the 8 - Nooks & Cr** - English Muffins
Krys, thanks for that def! I was wondering about unC..ny, if the opposite would exist in this form :)
just letting you know :) I can't wait till I can give up work and just do art. May it happen quickly!
yup, i'm sure it's the same root
i just got a kiln last week in order to finally put some time into glass art - so excited to be getting started! lucky that I don't have to work right now.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, Ata, that it may happen soon! Ruins my typing, but hey, who cares ;)
Great, Krys!
Down to 3... argh!
Ata - that is just fantastic. That really gets into the Maori essence. Right colours, right feel of the motifs and patterns. Sorry I am no artist. But - I think you might me made a tangata whenua with that picture.
Thanks for the ca's Sprite. Can't find the "more tinned" though.
i am falling asleep at the keyboard here, and my husband and cat are both conked out at the foot of the bed. i'll come back to finish tomorrow.
Night Krys!
nite Krys
*poof*
hi everybody! night krys!
mkl: other word for tin and then comparative
*be made. Sorry - got a bit excited. Hope you don't mind but I have printed it off and will put it up on my wall. Congrats
Hi Fran

just popped in to check how big the grid was.
hi saphyre.

Hi Fran :)

I will try and finish my last 3 and then I will give some clues, mkl, okay?
Fran ... you'll have to tell us if it is anything like the cultural stuff on Hawaii - re the chat we had a few days ago.
Most excellent. I await the words of the master. Can I help you with your last three?
the link went below the chat.
*repost* http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/41 190805/
Only S's left to find. I don't hate S's, but argh, can they be elusive.
Fireworks :) This was a great grid!
YAY Sprite!
very nice ata! angb, it's like the tribal tattoo art that everyone is into here, so i guess it is like polynesian themes also.
yay sprite!!!!
gr8?
have to head out for a while, see you all later! bye to those that aren't going to stick around for my return! :-)
how much significance do *proper* tribal tattoos have in hawaii? The NZ ones describe a person's life and history - do the polynesian ones do the same?
8s: Ce8/45 - 1. (in several European countries) a unit of weight of 50 kilograms, equivalent to 110.2 pounds avoirdupois. 2. a unit of 100 kilograms. :) Cr8/45 - sounds like grandmothers with a C Cr8/45 - more wrinkled Gr8/45 - oilier Sc8/45 - thin or slight/squeaky or unmelodious Se8/45 - what conversations and texts are made of
Thanks Sprite. Got em. Notice how the chat suddenly went still? Everyone's furiously looking up your clues. :-)
LOL

Oops, I missed one. Could you try a diffferent clue for the sc8?
cease
sorry
mkl - it ryhmes with washcloth
Do you mean another word for washcloth? Cause all I can come up with is towel
yes, and sheets are made from it as are suits
In the US, it's used a lot for pajamas. Soft, napped cotton.
can i have another clue for ce8 plz
ce7 and ce8 are 100 kilos
Okay. I admit it. I'M A DOPE? Linen?
mlk, it is also a very velvety flower... a fl***** flower...

Nope. Gregory Peck starred in a movie "The Man in the Grey ******* Suit".
OH. Slap on the forehead.
BIG SMILES. Got it

Just proves. You can walk a donkey to water, but you can't make me drink. :-)
stick a carrot in the bottom of the trough.... happy days!!
my hands are blue
ok, I'll bite. Why are your hands blue?
sorry broll! was helping my daughter with her art work, and I got blue paint all over my hands... came back to the keyboard.... typing way and there is blue everywhere!!! but I am onto the C's.... so that was going to happen anyway!
the C's make me blue! Oh I don't like C's!
You're right there have been wayyyyy too many c's over recent days!!.

Morning all

hi FM!
Morning Ata :)
I still need seven, 7 letter words. ar7,32 ca7,32 ga7,36 na7,28 The first re7,28 te7,28 and the we7,44. I'm sure some of these are plurals, but I don't have the singles either. Clues?

Thanks for the ar clue Ata
phantom - tenrec
Any clues for the ca7,32 na7,28 te7,28 we7,44 or the second te7,28?
The larger words just confounded me today
Ah the little ratty hedgehog - the tenrec, one of my fave Friday icons
na7 - people who look after children
yup! had to give him a mention!
Confounded. That's a good ten letter word. Should be in the puzzle. Course, if it was, I couldn't find it.
the other te7 almost rhymes with the na7
Any hint on the first re 7/28 ?
there's to lift up again for re7, but not sure whether that the first one
That's the one I have also. Still need the other.
Anyone have the we7?

yahoooooooooooooooomrp
YAHOO Mr president. Give me my two 7 letter words and I'll send you a gazillion dollars. Can't go to bed till I find them
ca 7,32...deadly disease

The word stats - how many words of each letter length there are. Manjari
That's the ca7,36

thanx mrp..... actually i managed to get 30 words....
we7 alt spelling for small.... ca/7 take the ca6/21 above and stick an R on the end

thanx friends iam now aware of the tile and word stats
It is what Heinz is! The are a ca of beans
Good morning/evening all.
Morning Haz
Manjari Have you found Lickety's list yet? When you run out of ideas - scroll down to Friends of Babble and click on Lickety's Babble Clues
I have that ca7. I need the other one. I may have confused the order they are in
ya sure Angb
Hello FMitch - this looks like a fun puzzle.
Hi Haz
Yes it is so far.
Not really. This is the most trouble I've had in weeks. Can't seem to wrap my brain around it.
I've managed to get an 8 letter by myself, so it is looking okay at the minute!
I'm with you mkl. Got the first 50 OK but ....
I still can't get that *&+)$ we7
And my favourite psychiatrists are there.
I KNOW the first four letters. Can't find the last three
LOl I am watching them on TV now.
It was probably my favourite comedy ever.
I have 25 left. I had 25 left 15 minutes ago. ARGGH
You are ahead of me mkl I've still got 60+ to go.
Haz, which 8 did you find?
mkl u sound to be very funny... i enjoy reading your words... i am new to this game...
gr8/50
Even more John Travolta and Olivia.
thnx haz
Ah I have that one too, change the 1st letter to a c for another one
There's a cr that rhumes
There's also cr8 - along the same lines....
lol we all have that one too
Well it rhymes actually ...
I can't see how it's possible to make that comparative, but it's points on the board....
10 more mins and I must stop!
I've just discovered a Pride and Prejudice family - was surprised!
well who would have thought that, thanks Haz.
And there's an se6 along the same lines - comedy films.
I have been sitting here for 10 mins trying to figure out the ar 7. Now who is going to tell me how easy it is!
clue for ce5/16 plz and thanx
ar7 compund word 2 math terms
Short for star - famous person oggy?
thanx angb
Aw shucks - maths? Now I know why I haven't got it
Gosh, there are c's all over the place!
ar7 = ar4/5 minus last letter + s4/4
Oh there is another ar position. Another handful of hair has left head. Thnx fmitgh its easier if you look in the right place LOL
Thank you for the mathematical ar7.
ea6,18?
Someone who ea4/4s
One who brings in money, one who makes it look simpler
Glad to help :)
Have the money one. Need the last one.
Never mind. Found it myself couldn't have been ea****
It is more simple mki - ea6/18.
Gee I thought that the ar 6 might be like my sister who has a bigger behind than me! LOL Invalid
18 to go. Have to go nite nite before I explode. Have fun everyone.
Cheers haz and mkl - now I have both
Nighty night mkl
Good night, mkl. Sleep well!
Haz if you have found the we7 could you do one of your great clues please.
Night mkl
I haven't found it - I'll look for it and get back to you.
oh thank you!
It's Babblin time, hello all
we7/44 - it has a comparative ending and has a double consonant in the middle. I'll work on a better clue.
Hi Colhad
hello Angb
Got it - thanks Haz
Good! Still thinking of a better clue, though!
I have found it F Mitch. Its when a spider made its cob w** more!
Believe me I have only had 2 glasses of wine!
lol Angb
And wot TV programme is that !!!!!! Did you get it FMtch?
BRB
I am going to bed. You had better change the middle consonants.
I'll put my sudden outburst of insanity down to stress.
We'll do our best. But the n's say they're not for going.
It's sounds like the thinkness of stockings but double the middle consonant.
*thickness
I'm working on the lines of almost the away we4/8 and sounds like the close ne4/4 but that may give away too many letters.
FMitch has gone very quiet.
Back again (phone reminding me that works is looming)
She's probably on the phone. Either that or the greek god of love has arrived back unexpectedly.
hi all!
Hey Fran!
Hello Fran!
Hi Fran
hi fmitch, haz and angb!
haz, is that your dog as a puppy?
It's not actually her, but is just what she looked like.
how adorable!
We were talking about puppies last night, but not having digital photos of her, this is the next best thing.
Awe, a little Spanglette, what age is Spangle Haz?
Spangle is now approaching her 6th birthday.
Well I really am off to bed. Have been working on the c's and put words in the wrong place and have spent the last 15 mins trying to find a word that is impossible to find LOL> Brain is obviously past use by date ... see you all.
night angb!!
Night Angb
Goodnight Ang. I don't remember a grid with quite so many opportunities to have a Hawaiian goose!
I had the word and had forgotten the meaning
i know haz, i got it many words ago, but i keep seeing it and trying to add it again.
And cr in three corners out of four - most peculiar.
the volcano(s) is there too
si6 is in the grid, but saint is a phantom

I've got an re6 that's used to curdle milk for cheese making etc.
thanks jac

good evening everyone
hi andree!
Hi Andree.
i've not got both cr 8,45
manjari - are you looking in all the nooks & cr******* for it?
yes still blank about cr 8's any clues
we7/44 please
the other cr8 rhymes with the gr8, it means more folded
sorry andree, don't have it yet.
got it, more of a large facial tumor.
that was the we7/44
thx Fran, will ponder on that
andree, a we* is a facial tumor, the we7 is more of or more like it.
it probably means something else, but there is no definition.
we8 - Think of Peter Pan's friend, make her more so, then replace the d with another consonant.
Back later!
Good one, Haz. I was just sitting pondering on how on earth to clue that. I was going along the lines of an indigestion tablet... would have been complcated.
*complicated
thx Fran and Haz
is there a w8?
Don't know, Fran. Not using a list yet.
that was the we7, right haz?
no Fran
No there isn't Haz meant the w7
okay
Fran - Haz clued we7/44.
There's an se6 that rhymes with the re6 milk-curdling word.
there are 4 we 4/8 's i got only 2 of them....
clues for the other two we 4 / 8
sounds like steering wh***, sounds like we** off the bottle, sounds like shredded wh***, and we** off the deep end
manjari - probably the two Scottish words Fran's just clued.
now only got tw 4/8
man they all start with same 4 letters
tw4/8 - affectedly dainty.
wow finishd all the tw's

bye penny!
bye pappou
last te6/18 please
the one i have is denomination of american bills
make that a sport
don't know if that's the last one though
have the sport and the money, maybe not the same though, not american, more english
the money i have sounds like one who does the number after nine.
thats the one I have and plural
so there is another te6/18 after the sport?
there is Fran
after sport te7/28 then te6/18, still looking
hey i got the two na 5,12's
cool manjari
need clues for the 2 na 5/12's ?
thanks i have them already.
thats gr8

Good Morning everyone, boy do we have the snow this morning! They are escourting traffic across the "Mighty Mac" this morning due to high winds and snow.It looks like Jan.!
looks like it's going to be tough, pida - but fun
good morning hodag. Snow? Wow
hi ursh
Ursh...for 3 of those think of Pooh eating legumes
hi wolvie
hi chiley
hi Wolvie
chiley - i have the veg am missing 6/24 - 5/14 - 7/36
and another 6/24 before crooked word
the ones i am missing come just after the sesame and the crooked word - total blank
Good morning Babblers. How is today's grid?
isnt chili con carne a word or am i crazy
one of 6/24 is a form of Benedict....or think of the OLD comedian....Be6/24 Cerf
for carne i mean
morning scrabbler
hi Scrabbler, did you get any snow last night?
wurdygurl - minus the last letter and it will work
and yes, I agree it is a word, at least around here
carn
I got that one mom and thanks for agreeeing with me
I thought it was a word, wurdy
glad too
i agree with you too but it is a spanish word and yes babble takes foreign words but we are at their mercy
oops,thanks for the clue
We are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow, which means I have to pick 47 green tomatoes today.
How much snow do you have hodag?
put them in a brown paper bag and they will ripen scrabbler
hi annie
TY for that idea wurdygirl.
hi wolvie!
Is that your dog Wolvie? Very adorable.
no prob...or just fry em up and have fried green tomatoes and watch the movie...that would work too
chiley not getting the clue you gave
we got about two inches durning the night and two too four for today. It is way to early for this!!!
How about the singer Tony Be6/24
I know, hodag, I have so many leaves to rake.
that i got thanks
It always snows before we are ready.
chg last letter for another 6/24
we havent had snow here before halloween since i wa sa kid
Right now it is pouring rain and I have to bring out my garbage and recycleables. Yuck.
and leave off last letter for 5/14
For sure.. I still have flowers to take care of ,good thing this won't stay.
i am still waiting to plant bulbs
Yes, I have to move some perennials around.

I was born and raised in Mich - miss it still. :-)
By wurdy.
Winter is a beautiful season, but by March I am ready for spring.
nare
DON'T try that at home.
Me toooooo......
I am finding this grid rather annoying!
clue for the ce8/45
me too scrabbler
this grid is really a dilly today. I won't be on long!
11 words from that T on the left-???? The G---???
I've got 4 of the Gs
No, hodag, you have to go shovel snow. LOL. And that will be my chore tomorrow.
I have 2 G's and 2 T's from that left column.
afternoon all :) how many today
ce8/45 - start with an American money for four letters, then finish with what is added to part to make co-workers or mates for life
I have this little bit of hope that it may melt while Im in the shower> LOL Scrabbler
hi marso, hi haz
170 marso, but they are not coming easily
oh god another one lol cheers scrabbler :)
ty ty haz
You're welcome ursh.
I'm working on that clue, haz - thanks
ar 7/32?
gr8 oilier
Maybe, hodag. But with 2 inches you probably don't have to shovel. Be careful driving though. People always forget how to drive in snow, so there will be cars sledding out there.
and cr8 needs ironing
dont talk about driving please lol
you've got that wright scrabbler
hi inge 2
ar7/32 combines two mathematical terms.
hey wolvie :-)
TY for those clues--gr, cr, ar, ce--I am up to 41 with your help.
ty haz
thanks haz - got that one. :-)
You're welcome.
still don't get the ce 8 tho. must need more coffee
We have a christmas tree farm and I must say the snow is pretty laying on the trees! There is even a Cardnel at one of my feeders, just like a Christmas card.
I have three of the six 8s - ce8/45, cr8/45 and gr8/45 - what am I missing?
aw nice, hodag!
haz, is that spangle as a puppy?!
It must be beautiful. How cool to have a Christmas tree farm!
very nice hodag
hi une
There are two cr8/45 at least.
morning, wolvie!
sc8/45 matty
Hi wolvie
just 2, haz
and se8/45
Hello Uneaixoise - it's not her but it is a Welsh springer puppy who bears an uncanny likeness. Cut, isn't it?
Any clues for those elusive 8s?
Cute, even!
cute doesn't even begin to describe that puppy's adorableness!!!! :-)
se8 string them together for writing
cr8/45 can either be what goes with nooks, or what deserves a good ironing (a doubtful comparative)
I mean the sc and se 8s...(and the other I'm missing)
TY ursh, I was searching for that. Found the sc8.
good clues, guys!
The tree farm is pretty, we don,t work it any more but the kids love to come out and cut their own Christmas tree down and I always cut a small one to put by my bird feeders the birds love it for shelter.
I don't understand the ce8 clue. The first part American money, but not the second part.
same here, bichon - still working on that
Wedding or business part***, then add snakle for the 8
american money + my husband is my Par****
my collection of Babblets (odd Babble words) is underway for the new section of the resource pages.
Can you please clue the sc8 and the se8?
Okay, try thinking of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - what sort of team in crime were they? It's the ending of the word.
thanks matty
bichon - end of life parT***
good deal angel. :-)
Please?
part*** - sorry
Great, Angelsong. I want to learn them and use them in everyday conversation to impress people.
se8 several of them make up a paragraph
Pretty please?
thanks ursh.
matty - se8 can mean words or a term of imprisonment
se8/45 string them together when writing
Thanks Unea, and Haz - that's the SE down - two 8s to go (the SC and something else)
Have to say good by and start the day LOL everyone
if you'd like to add your Babblets, see my post on BA/General/Wanted: Your Babblets,
Bye hodag--your snow is coming my way tonight. don't send too much, please.
bye hodag
bye hodag
matty the sc8 rhymes with a soft fluffy fabric
OK, I'm being stupid now doubt, and I have the SE8 (still need the SC8 hint hint), but I can't see how you can get it with the letters as they are.
How many words today please ?
170
170--and found with great difficulty
Thanks
matty it took me a while to see how it fits
rect
sc8=part of 3 in one machine hooked to a computer, fax, printer and sc8
sc8 - sc plus past tense of what Paula Radcliffe does (three letters) then the start of Dame Melba's name
it zigzags to the left then zigzags down
ursh is the soft fluffy fabric the stuff of winter sheets?
matty - se 8 to make leave se 4 plus past te*** - alt spelling. altogether, it makes a term of imprisonment
Oops, that is only a 7.
sc8 - rhymes with the stretch of water that divides Britain from the rest of Europe.
thanks, haz--never heard of that one . . .
but it says it's not in the dict.
mornin babblers!
Hi evanadine
Nor have I, but then what's new with Babble?
hi evan
nm got it
Who is Dame melba?
true!!!
hi evan
An opera singer who gave her name to Peach Melba. Let me think of another one....
what a word. wow
how are we all doing this morning?
haz, how about "movie starring jodie foster"
that works well, une. :-)
Ah - light dawns - was Liam Neeson in it as well?
yes!
and natasha richardson
Yes, I know that movie (loved it) but I can't figure out the beginning letters
i have no idea what movie that is
And who is Paula radcliffe?
What about the elephant who packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus - or is that a British children's song?
sc, kids r** for the icecream truck, and the beginning of the foster movie
Paul Radcliffe is an athlete who races on foot
Paula Radcliffe is an athlete, winning numerous marathons. She's pretty famous over here.
Ah, my monkey found it. What an annoying word to find.
How about this clue--rhymes with soft cloth used in pajams and bedsheets, fl*****
good, scrabbler
oh, good one, scrabbler!
bichon had given it earlier but I didn't get it
or for the sc8 try: anagram of what's left on skin after surgery + double consonant + elevated railway
have we had all the 8 clues, I must have missed one, had to work for about 5 minutes
Yes, good clue, ch1212
clue for the ce8?
between all of us I think we've covered every possible avenue for that sc8 :)
I have to get ready soon--I have a newborn to see for hospital rounds this AM. The favorite part of my job.
think middle, but add a consonent after the t - then plural
that was for the ce8
*points out my icon* thats the logo of the gallery i used to work in at the air + space museum in dc. :)
ce8 is the one starting with the money and ending with the part**** for life/in crime.
thanks, wolvie!
yw
Lunch time - back later.
ce 8 think the ce***** of the universe and enter another hump letter
bon appetit!
Cool, evanadine
oh cool, evan - I've been to the air and space museum.

2 cr's kt
I must go. I'll be back tonight. Good luck with the grid folks!
nooks and cr*****, or wrinkled
do you have nooks and cr******?
bye scrabbler
no ty une
I am seriously considering making a separate page for the upcoming Babblets section of the resource guide, instead of adding it to an existing page.
I love the air and space museum---it is awesome
good idea, angel
Angel , that's a great idea!
have to get going, be back later....
i remember going when I was 12 and the thrill of seeing The Spirit of St. Louis (had seen the movie with my mom!)
Babblets?
Because I think it is going to take on a life of it's own in short order. By the way, please do help me collect the Babblets by posting them on BA/General/Wanted: your Babblets.
Bunny, babblets are those odd babble words that keep showing up on the grids.
hey, angel!
by the way, the Babblets can be any length, not just four letters
OK, thought so wasn'
hi, Une!!
t sure. I was out of the loop longer than I thought.
I missed you, Bunny!
does anyone have the other cr8, not the weird word?
I missed playing, but now I'm playing from MY house and not a rent house!
one is nooks and cr*****. the other is more wrinkled bichon
cool, Bunny!
thanx Wolvie
yw
I'm missing one 8 - I think it's the SC8...
scrabbler gave a good clue, matty - like the fabric fl*****, just use scr instead
I've added a post to the Shoutbox on the Babble Guide community page, everyone.
I thought rect was a word...or is it recto?
scane
oppsy, sorry
good deal, angel
before abel's brother i am missing a ca5/14 please clue
bunny!! Good to see you back! Just read your updated bio. Glad to hear your move went well and you are getting settled. We had 8 more boxes arrive yesterday so still getting unpacked. That's all. Just wanted to say welcome back!
ch: greetings, and thank you for your e mail. your comments brightened my day.
ok nm got it
I just moved ten miles down the road. Nothing llike what you and Faerie did. Hope everything gets to you safely!
Thank YOU angelsong :) My icons this week have been photos I've taken of the fall foliage here. So beautiful!
ch, is that your yard?
no, it's a small farm down the road from us. We have woods, lakes, rivers, forests and farms all around us.
Beautiful! I'm green with envy! We get so much heat that nothing turns brown in the fall, it has already melted or burnt off through the summer!
ah, but you have the amazing Texas bluebonnets. I've been to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio for work (conferences) and enjoyed what I've seen of Texas.
Except for those pounding, awful thunder storms :)
I love the storms. Green skies, I've only ever seen a few tornadoes. I forgot about the bonnets, I'll need to plant some and make sure the hubby doesn't mow em over.
If you click on my icon you will see another photo, this one of 2 canoers on the lake about 1/2 mile up the road.
I'm moving again... we have a dried up creek bed down the cliff in the back. You take excellent photos by the way.
thanks ... moving again!??
Yup, in with you! It so nice around there.
LOL!! :D
I don't know where we'd put the twins, but I'm sure we could find an extra bed for you :D

YIKES! 5?! Gosh,bunny... love ya and all that, but really need to think about this ... :D
pbr, do you have the plural Nikes?
Ya know, I STILL don't see how you can get the SE8 (which I have) from the grid. I must be blind...
ch1212 -- i do now...thanks!
matty use the lowest 'n' when you zig up to the 't'
matty it uses the lower N first, does that help
This is our back yard, has a nice view. It was cloudy that day and I'm going to clear a little foliage out to open up the view some.
OK, but how do you get to the C??
It will be glorious once you get those bluebonnets planted -- really, nice yard!
wow, i really want this word
matty, from your 't' go up, then to the 'n', and zig to the left
matty it uses the bottom C
Ope, Chopper is up. Gonna get her some breakfast. Back in a few.
wurdygirl, your screen name has to do with it... you form the se8 when you write
bye bunny
i finally got it and i agree how do you get it

up then down from the t, wurdy. :-)
oops - too late - sorry. :-)
:) I've got loads of stuff to do today so I'm going to concentrate on the grid and 'turn off' chat for awhile.
that was a tricky find
Ooooh! I was looking at the wrong C. Thanks!

the se8

Happy as a pig in mud ..
Hi Flask how are you today?
yw abe and aloy
happy with life flask but very unhappy with this grid...
Hey Tor!
Oh no........well can anyone clue me the we7/44 please?
happy as a word nerd in BabbleLand
Hello Flask - have you got your thinking cap on?
I'm missing an N, I've got 6na, 5ne
Lol....Haz, do you really believe it makes a difference with me????.....lolol
make that missing 2Ns
we7/44 - Step 1, think of Peter Pan's friend. Step 2, imagine more of her. Step 3, replace the d in the name with another consonant.
remember the comedian with the violin, Jack Be**y? Try the pl of his last name for be 7/36
There are 7 ne words
I have two 4s two 5s and a 6, what am I missing?
monkey found another 4
no go on the we 7/44...I keep trying...
green: if you get the word I just clued, substitute the w and you have another one..(-:
3 ne4/4 1 4/8 1 5/10 1 5/18 and 1 6/18
what is short form of that is green
For the we7 - think of a word meaning flexible but beginning with b and rhyming with Peter Pan's friend. Make it more flexible and take out the d. The we7 follows the same principle.
Hi folks. I'm back from a somewhat eventful grocery shopping trip; the power blacked out in the High St.:( I'll be back when I've finished putting the shopping away.... Unless Haz would like to do it for me?? *grins*
You have GOT to be kidding, Jacula!
ty caitlyn, looks like I'm missng a 4/4
Hi Jacula
How did you pay for your shopping if all the tills were down?
Tee, hee Haz. I know how much you 'love' that job.
ah got it
Haz.....I know his friend....after that am stuck!
Hi caitlyn.
Haz - Well, we got kicked out of WHS & had to put our stuff back, the pet food store just took cash and wrote it down & ASDA have their own generators. (Still went dark 3 times in there though!)
Okay, Flask - imagine the we word is an adjective. Make it more of an adjective - as in be**y becomes be***er then follow the rest of the directions.
Have you had the thunderstorms Jacula?
cait - we did have a storm yesterday. None today though. Not sure what was going on.
My worst experience with shopping was one year when I had just about finished my pre-Christmas grocery shop and we had to clear the store because of a security alert. I was murderous that day!
Haz - I can imagine! What a waste of time.
haz that happened to me once, although not prexmas thank god, some kids had set fire to a paper towel in the loo's
I felt really sorry for the people who worked in the store as they were going to have to put everyone's shopping back on the shelves....
cleared the whole damn store because of it
Following procedure I suppose.
One a brighter note, when I arrived home a sparrow hawk was sitting on my side gate and flew off as the taxi driver took my bags up the drive. Quick as a flash he (the taxi driver) says, 'He didn't read your notice then!' (There's a sign with 'No Hawkers' on it in my porch window.)
A witty taxi-driver!
LOL Jacula!!!
green got we 7?
time for me to leave work, might be back on later when I get home :D
Bye kth
morning/afternoon
thanks Haz
Hi hurshy!!
I once had a group of teenagers knock my door to ask what 'hawkers' were. They had got it into their heads that it was something to do with 'whores'. ROFLOL.
It worked then, Flask - told you you would need your thinking cap on!
green have u left?
i'm a little puzzled about the top C. i have penny and a famous person abbr... can't find the other 2
That is really funny Jacula
could someone clue me in on re7/28 please? Ihave the higher one.
has anyone got all we 4's
of course Haz, the fact that I was going in the wrong direction didn't help either!!
Hi hurshy. I was playing WebBoggle as 'Team Babble' last night along with a few others. We wiped the floor with the opposition! Pity that TEAM_BABBLE, TEAM BABBLE & TeamBabble didn't join us! I kept coming on here and saying type Team Babble.
The other two are ce7 and ce8
went
lol, well, glad you did well jacs :) i played a bit yesterday or the day before with somebody.
Where did you go Flask?
manjari i have them all - wot do you need?
haz - are they weird? and if so can i have a clue?
the third we 4 denny...thanx
I'd better go and put that shopping away instead of holding up clueing by whittering on. BBL for my last 51.
I've never heard of them - add what you put on the end of a part to make a mate then plural.
I should say - add to the coin.
manjari - sounds liking spending a penny with a cuppa!

te7/28 - I have the money one...
good on you hurshy - does there seem to be an abundance of nonsense words today?
make it end like you, pl
i dunno, i guess a lot of the words are silly but they are pronounceable and have normal letter patterns, if that makes sense.
i think i need a pointer on se8
second ca 7/32 and first te 7/28 anyone?
denny, do you have the shoe one? pl of what you wear to play the game with rackets
se8 what words make
You'll only make a fuss about how stupid you are if anybody hints on the se8.
ca7 - if something is weird it's un****y, and you need to get rid of the un and make it more so
ok thanks haz
2nd ca7/32 smarter
now i have 5's and 6's left. finished the 4's way too early.
uh no i don't think so aloyisuis - i just thought they were called te**** shoes?!
So did I, Denny.
yes, denny.... so give those shoes a nickname, and you have it...
how about some L assistance. i have an le5/10, what other 5's or 6's might i need?
change the s to the second vowel and pl
What a silly word! Rhymes with pennies.
yup, hydra..
5 or 6, i should say, since there's only one more L

na6? . . .the voices are not helping today . .
We ALL do it, Diane, and we've complained about it to the good Dr. but he says there's no cure....I suggested a flashing red cursor....
na6 - one who looks after someone elses children
Mary Poppins was this, Tor- a watcher of kids...
Maybe something that comes over the speakers like "Don't forget to move your cursor,Dum-Dum!",lol
Thanks . .I should have had that . .
on that na 6, the end is not a "Y" but sounds the same...
It isn't an obvious word because it goews all around in a circle....
*goes
I like your idea, Diane!
bbi a sec
ce 7/32 and 8/45 please
ce7 - ce4/5 + Lil Ab***
the middle of a circle is the ce****- now put an "N" before the "T"

That's the second se6,21. I need the first
They are formed at random, and so they are never alike,....
But thanks jaianniah
Oh! Sorry! What gypsies hold in a circle in a dark room....
ooh, i must be getting good then, if everyone else thinks this grid is very bad.
se6 is when people get together to hear from the deceased ??

it would be interesting to know what they hold in a dark room then :-D
Thanks floe
I should have said "mediums"- you are right, hurshy...

lol I lived in Wolverine in the 77/78 storm hodag
beebee - palm like the betel palm. (Or try adding a consonant that sounds like what your eyes do instead of the single hump one to the sports stadium word)
I don't miss it

All those who are asking where hodag is, just click on the icon and it will tell you - same goes for other icons
ar5/12: ar + eu*** ! I found it! But change k to c

Hi Annie.
y/w, beebee.
(also arat)

Une, that puppy is adorable!!!
wow thank you Jac...fireworks
hi annie
terri - it sounds like a US political place.
Well done, terri!
hodag, are you still snowed in???
ty ty **bowing** lol, it was grueling today
sorry!
congrats, gramma
Noober - the lining of a calf's stomach (extract from) is used in cheese and yoghurt making.
ce5/16 is giving me fits
no idea
noober like RE* and stimpy + what you put a bball in
whoa, that's a word?
and btw that is why I DO NOT eat cheese and yogurt Jacula lol
lol and it is the last se too I found out
brb - must feed birds, etc etc. I have 31 left to find
I don't use re-yuck-yuck to make yogurt....
I'll brb too going to make a drink to celebrate I made it thru this puzzle today lol
There used to be a dessert called Junket that used re**** as a base
See you in a while, jilli.
You, too, terri.
Annie, I remember junket...loved it as a little tot
Yes, Annie. I remember that.
ce5/16....calling SOS...
I wasnt too crazy about it but my mother made me eat it way back when...
Inge - are you looking for the ce5/16? If so, it a short word, beloved of TV and newspapers for famous persons. Ce***ritiies.
inge- short form of what famous people are
do not have that one Inge
well since I'm a si6/18 going to have a smoke too lol
famous people are.....greedy
beebee, that't the one! thx very much
I'm amazed that word is in any dictionary! However, I read today that 'bovvered' is about to go into the OED.
as in "hot and bovvered"? lol
Colhad - I think I saw you talking along those lines earlier? Did someone in particular upset you? (If you don't mind me asking.)
thanks Jac.....what is bovvered, noun, verb, meaning
Annie - These days it means 'bothered'. Back in the 70s we had skinheads/bovver boys and the word meant trouble or bother.
It was also spelled 'bovva' sometimes in the 70s.
Jacula, Thanks! never heard it before....as in dont you bovva with me or else,,,,
beebee - thanks for the ce clue
Quick trip gotta go now and make a snow pumpkin, see ya.
Annie - Be glad you haven't! This latest version stems from a revolting but sadly true character from a TV programme called 'Little Britain'. Look 'Vikki' up on their site.
See you, hodag.
Make a snowman for me, a snow woman for Paul and snow angels for Babblers!
ah, a snow angel---how nice
Jacula, going to google Little Britain---
I will try,by all
Go to the BBC site for it and choose the video clip for Vicky Pollard. Get yourself a stiff drink first, Annie!
'Bye hodag.
(Don't forget to photograph them, hodag!)
whose got the sc8/45?
I was at a coffee bar when I got the sc8 Inge
sc + moved very fast + movie with Jodie Foster, Liam Neeson, and Natasha Richardson
my friends helped me come up with a good clue
ghetto pajamas cloth lol
rhymes with wintertime pj fabric
ah, excellent! tx!
Jacula, I just think those people we speak of come across as arrogant, greedy. They tend to think they're better than the average Jo Blo, I like em as actors, but as people, generally they are not nice people :)
"Little Britain" is very funny, but very British and not for US audiences. I can't see Yanks laughing at the only gay in the village, or allowing four-letter words on TV.
Jacula, didnt get to the videos of LB --but read a review and it sounds awful....they speak of "casual racism"---sorry, no such thing. In the States we have South Park which I like very much and that's about as far as it gets
Annie, did you not HOWL at the SP season opener--the video game?!!
In South Park they ridicule people who can and do fight back (Tom Cruise)
Une, Yes I did....i love those kids
2 to go--gotta go watch The OFfice--BBL
Annie - I can't find the clip where she's in someone's face and doing her, 'Am I bovvered? Do I look bovvered?' Pointing then at her face... 'Does this face look bovvered?' Her face, is unfortunately the face of the UK's 'chav' culture kids.
Vicky Pollard:
lol, South Park, NAMBLA episode is probable my favourite
It seems to me that LB is making fun of vulnerable folks
http://www.littlebritain.tv/characters _vicky.htm
Annie - my favourite character from South Park is Eric Cartman. His version of 'O Holy Night' cracks me up every time I hear it.
The North American Marlon Brando Look-alikes
there's 2 NAMBLAs, won;t go into the other one :P If anyoen is a SP fan, you'd know what I'm talking about ;)
hello
oh yeah, yeah, no, oh yeah, no, yeah LOL
hello Smiley
Good evening everybody
how is everyone
ca 7/36 pls?
hi smiley, fine and you
hi charm!
struggling with my last 7, smiley, and you?
Hi, smiley
i am doing okay
Annie - No! It's talking about the sliding morality of the country. Unfortunately, some people seem to think the chracters are to be looked up to.
hi jacula
daisy, it's the plural of the ca6/24 right before it (crab of the zodiac)
Hi, Annie!
ohh...fish pls and ty
Jacula, I agree with you...
HI scatty & anyone else that arrived whilst I was away in Little Britain.

Hi charm.

se5/10, not sure if its the 2nd one - river in Paris.
got that one, Charm
sorry, inge. I've a long way to go tonight.
Inge - se6/21 (the last word I found today despite it being a Babble fairly regular) = a member of the NA Indian Iroquois.
Inge, add a letter to the river to make it one who does
se6 is se4 + vowel plus same letter on the end
those are the first ones, have those
Inge - the French river is the first se5.10. The second is the pods you take to unblock yurself lavatorially.
could someone clue ca5/14 please??
sounds like exlax, Jacula
if you have the river one, change the vowels round
Inge - yes, but what does that contain? se*** pods.
Col - ca and vowel and abbrev for large western state
(Rhymes with the dye that makes your hair red.)
My last post still concerned the se5/10 (bowel unblocker).
hair dye did it...never heard of the pods...lol
Inge - ask your chemist! LOL.
still need the se6/21 right before it
inge, the one under the 8
Inge - the first se6/21 is the table with the upturned wine glass in the middle and letters and numbers in a circle all around it. People hold hands and ask, 'Is anybody there?' They are trying to call up the spirits of the dead.
I have that one. I am looking for the 2nd one, right after se4/4
Oh, the Iroquois Indian word?
inge, same as word above + its raining+++ and dogs
Oh, there is another - one who frightens.
scatty, that doesn't work...wonder if we're talking about the same one. Jac, that is a sc

jilli - No. I need to get off to acouple of other sites where I 'moderate' and then I may Team Babble on WebBoggle. If you want to join me, sign in exactly as I type it.... Team Babble. (Don't use capitals anywhere else or lose or insert spaces. The site is case sensitive.

oh ty pida! that is a babblet!
Douglas, thanks for the updates
hi scrabbler

I tried the grid this AM and got frustrated, so I am back for more torture.
good clue scatty
hi scrab
Reyes hits dribbler to short, who steps on second for the final out of the bottom of the third.
temple, angelsong is going to make a page consisting of babblets--she is asking us to contribute
thanks whitewitch, i'm not very good at understanding complicating clues so i try to give really easy ones out
we are having a wicked snowstorm here--the northern suberbs have no power from downed tree branches.
great idea - babblet page!!! woot!
whoa, in upstate NY?!
Scrabbler, are you near Buffalo?
can you send some snow this way, we never seem to get any, it always seems to miss oxford for some reason
the wind is really blwing here - cold front coming in to drop temps 20 degrees
easy clues are better for me, scatty, especially because english is not my mother tongue
Douglas - you've missed your calling as a vivid baseball reporter!
Yes, I am 35 miles southeast of Buffalo. Where are you Annie?
can someone clue the ar 7 please?
new york city
final be6/24 please?
ar 7 is made up of two math terms
Natasha, the ar7 is a trigonometry term (compound word)
what's a babblet?
Not to gloat or anything, but the tmp here today was 21C or 70F in the shade, and there wasn't any - sunny sunny sunny
I have a sister in Bergen County, New Jersey
ty!
be 6 Wimbleton game, change the 1st consonant
Naughty bits in the lower right corner
the 2nd na 5/12 pls?
I'm in Madison and it was only 35 here today, which is unusual
ar7, first 4 letters are the same as above + not out ** +2nd vowel
ty again, pida!
that's Wimbledon, please :), no t
brrr Natasha! you can keep it!
I got home 30 min ago and went to the vegetable garden to pick green tomatoes before the frost tonight.

Leadoff Cardinal walks in top of 4th, Encarnacion up...

scrabbler, it was 70 degrees today in new york, wow, what a difference, same state
TO, did you get it
tndaisy, click on scrabbler's icon for the answer
hi daisy
temple owl whats the temp in c
This is an unusually early "lake effect" storm. Lake Erie provides the moisture and the cold winds come from the west and create snow over the lake.
yes, 70's here in MA too
I'm back. Moderating is done.
hi Annie :)
and they were saying this was going to be an unusually warm winter in the states
The nweborn was very cute, Annie, and ready to go home with his parents.
your missing the snow storms jacula
welcome bac, jac
brb *not getting word hunt done*
scrabbler are you a pediatrician?
2nd na 5/12 pls?
the first snow is so exciting...no matter how old you are
Hi Jacula--how are your bunnies?
Encarnacion flies out to shallow center, Pujols thought it was going to be a hit, and was doubled off first by the center fielder to end the inning. Glavine is getting the benefit of some excellent fielding on the part of the Mets
daisy, woman's name, Na*** Sinatra, but with a real vowel, not the sometime one at the end
TO, be 6/24 De****, the Menace
oh ok ty Inge :)
yay mets!!!
What kind of word is that, pida?
One of my first year medical students was with me today in the office and she is from California. She has only seen snow at Lake Tahoe. She was stunned today. I had to tell her about a snow brush/ice scraper--a new tool for her to purchase.
ty for those be clues!

Hi Scrabbler. They're fine, thanks.

Beltran grounds out, Delgado up, 2 out, no one on. Jeff Weaver is doing a great job...

You don't know the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints? He did quite well in San Diego last year...

Wright pops out to third, ending the bottom of the fourth
back
I googled the New Orleans Saints' roster
adree, plural of ca 5/12
I paid particularly close attention to him because he was a quarterback at Purdue, and I grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana, home of Purdue University...
My dad went to Purdue!

Meaningless protest on the absence of carne from the dictionary, as in chili con carne
Just been out of here for a while now chatting to daughter & her b/f. But they are now doing soduku (separate ones) so I've left them to it. The are being fuelled by the Eccles cakes I baked earlier. LOL.
andree, sorry dont have that one

Yes, Douglas, I tried that this AM and was disappointed as well
andree, just like the tinner, but different last consonant

Well, we are in baseball mode here.
Chavez makes a diving grab in left field to put out Belliard, Molina up, runner on first, two out
Scrabbler - puff or flakey pastry surrounding a filling made from butter, brown sugar, currants, mixed dried peel, fresh orange peel, cinnamon & nutmeg.
eccles cakes are a light flaky pastry with currants inside - jac - you can explain better - I've never made them

Molina walks, Weaver up, runners on first and second, two out
Molina hits the eccles cake hard, it's going far, it's...a home run, and the cake is intact and caught by a fan who gets a fee snack.
jili - i do love your icon
Hooray for Temple Owl!
YAY temple owl!
*free snack
re + 2 smalll humps + ** you like it and vowel
they are not like cakes - more like small pastries
You enclose the filling in the butter-made pastry rounds and then slash them 3 times atop. After that you glaze them with egg white (for a shiny finish) or milk (for a not shiny finish) & caster (fine) sugar and bake for 15 mins.
lol!
thanks again TO!
Yay for TO--good job!
Weaver strikes out to end the top of the fifth. Once more, Glavine gets help from superlative fielding

hmm...will have to think about that I suppose. ty TO
feel better soon!
I'll put the recipe for Eccles cakes on my recipe thread on BabAnon. I'll include the butter pastry recipe, but you can just use a ready made fresh or frozen puff pastry if you like. You can't cheat with the filling by using Xmas mincemeat though; it's not the same!
no, TO, have only seen one autogyro in my life - when I was about7 -- ???
Jacula is on the mound for the next inning. She is grasping the eccles cake in the forkball grip and throws it hard, low and inside for a strike.

Pujols up, runner on first, one out
Drizzling in New York

Hi Hell!
Hi Helen
Hi Helen.
this is hard
They went on and on about how well Pujols has done against Glavine this year...Pujols lines to short, but the runner gets back to first in time
jacula- the roofers are finally going to start tomorrow (*hk knocks on wood*) - can you believe how long i've been waiting already?
Encarnacion up, runner on first, two out
I can believe it, Hell.
Very hard, Smiley.
hi helen *peeking at chat*
lol yea
Well, I am really a Yankee fan (it's genetic) but my grandsons are rabid Met fans and Douglas has made the game very exciting so I am going to watch it on the TV, see you all tomorrow, my fellow babblers!
Bye Annie
brb - turning on TV as if I need one more distraction
Encarnacion flies out to right, ending the top of the 6th
hi back at ya'll
I came in here today expecting to see lots of talk oer the 10/11 aircraft crash into the Manhattan apartment block. (I had first made sure my friend in NY was okay.) A NY Yankees pitcher died in the crash, I believe?
True, Jacula.
Helen, what are you watching now since BB is over? Bachelor?
In the first few minutes after the crash happened, terror must have struck the hearts of those in NY at the time.
An image of the martyred son of the late Nancy Hanks
That is what every American was thinking!
Jacula, Evanonuts and Renfields bios might interest you re pitcher Lidle
The likelihood of the same thing occurring on 10/11 rather than 9/11 is, well, not that likely. But, had I been there, in those first few minutes, I'd have been frightened.
heya whitewitch! - yep, i have the bachelor, survivor, ar & top model now - the bachelor is like watching a sad horror movie - but i love top model - how about you?
Inge - I will read them soon. Thank you.
Glavine grounds out to second to start the bottom of the sixth...
This always happens, I have 32 words, slowing way down, too lazy to go to the Lickety page......
Jose Reyes up, nobody on, one out
shea isn't in the grid today for a change
1/2 way--I can quit now. REM sleep is summoning. Good luck with the grid, with eccles cakes, with baseball, with the new roof, ....see you tomorrow.
I like Bachelor. I wish I could be one of those girls. Espacially because I love Italy and I speak the language.

Enomis - look in all of the nooks and cr***** for that word!
oops
Yeah, and I like to look them up after if I just guess, Scrabbler.
Reyes grounds out to second...
jacula - the world gets scarier all the time - all the time - so many advances, so quickly - there are so many small plane crashes, we don't hear about alot of them unless they're local - (i want to re-read toffler's 'future shock' )
Give me a real word the next time Enomis. lol
Lo Duca up, no one on, two out...I didn't put the space between Lo and Duca the last time he was up...

The o in Lo Duca is in lower case on the back of his uniform...

Lo Duca singles past the third baseman...
(see, I'm watching)
whitewitch - yes, this bachelor is very interesting, i like the whole european flavor - but those girls still keep making fools of themselves, sad
Beltran up, runner on first, two out
brb - phone
douglas, your description is so much better
go beltran
I'm glad you and the other Babblers are enjoying it...
ce 7?
Back to the 10/11 aircrash in NY thing. I heard someone say the plane was doing 'aerobatics' before it crashed. It took off from NJ some 15 mins before. Was the pilot showing off, did he fall foul of the weird thermals that surround cities and high buildings? There will be a black box left from the plane after the carnage... but will we ever know? Also, something we in UK discussed earlier... how the hell do you explain that one to your life insurance company? Well, I was sitting in my flat on the 20th floor, watching TV and eating a snack when a plane came in...
weaver licked his fingers and pretended to wipe them on his shoulder ---- YAY mets HR!!!!

SE5/10 immediately below the indian tribe please? I have asked before but had to watch csi.
Hi everyone....Jacula there is no black box because it was a small plane. A pilot commented that he saw the plane tilted darply to the right which from his experience meant mechanical problems
*oops could not fly
My Dad worked for a civil and military aircraft company. His job was to analyse the data from the black boxes (which are NOT black, btw.)

Oh, it's lovely to have a man in your bed, unless he pinches your space, crowds you, snores in your ear, grind his teeth, bashes you with a roving elbow, etc.... Ohm and if he's a restless sleeper it can be like spending the night on a ship in a storm. I'll keep my man though. I like the cuddles as we go to sleep, the comfort after a bad dream, even though he is sleeping and doesn'tt know I've had a bad dream. I think, though, having had 2 beds pushed together during our hol in Crete. that separate mattresses in same bed may be an answer. V. expensive though!
*oops- no na/just n
