good question, hurshy! {{{hello}}}
hi stid :)
Hup, got it... but it should be a blue tie! :) To prevent confusion with AIDS, to be similar to the plain blue ribbons for prostate cancer. Pink is for breast; I found one image that combines the blue & pink ribbon to be a "family awareness" pin: "test together, live together."
ankh, it was a follow-up on a google image but I don't exactly remember
yes, guess it should be blue, but Albertans go their own way...
where are all the vowels???

weclome to babble, have a look at the help section just above the chat log
Thanks, Mari, I suspected as much!
Thank you!
Hi, Volley!
ta5/12 my last word - help
Yes, just like Boggle. Be careful where you are typing; when you're new, it's easy to type all your words up here in the chat, and if you do, we throw fish at you! :)
volley - I think if you scroll down you will see Friends of Babble and there is a link to Anglesong's page - that might give you the rules. If not let us know.
If you cant remember
Ursh, Lynxxx clued it. Something like te + ***ependence Day.
LOL tooo funny; thanks so much, I have played Boggle, so if like boggle I'm okay; how long is each game here?
sord
no ank i need ta5/12
24 hours, Volley. They range from about 60 words up to as many as 300; somewhere in the high 100's seems to be most common.

thanks lynx
not quite ready for a paid membership; don't think I can add flag without paying..
good morning Flask:)
Hi Jean.....how are you?
Volley, still with us? See the tiny ? next to each word you've found? clicking that opens a new window with the definition. Huh, okay -- Dianne doesn't have a picture so I assumed she was unpaid, and she does have a flag -- but I guess I was wrong. Sorry about that, Volley. *blush*
and thanks kier
no problem at all
kier - wi4/8 plural and past tense
in8??
Ankh - I must admit that I don't know how to do the picture thing (really blushes).
very neat connection to dictionary. Do the question marks remain forever?
wi 4/9 and plural
Oh, Dianne, I'll walk you through it. No big deal. Today is Prostate Cancer Awareness day, but you don't have to do the theme. What kind of photo would you like? yes, Volley, forever.
a clue for in8 please?
Sorry, Flask, think of school sports and then end it with the Spanish word for two.
No idea Flask
Ankh - today is not the day - sitting here with the worse cold - next time. thanks.
These are the sports played by teams INSIDE the school, hint hint hint.
Even after Ankh's clue - go idea
Okay, Dianne, no problem. You can email me -- click my picture to get addy, write me any time.
lol....thanks all....got!
Okay, Ang. Think of a prefix in - - - that means inside. And end it with Spanish "two"
clue for se7 please
Thanks so much. I do feel like the outsider with no pic.
Thanks Ank
YW, Lynxxx. Oh, Dianne, it's WAY easy, you'll see.
Flosey... it's kinda hard, begins with a prefix that means six and ends with Ike Turner's EX-wife.
Morning all What a nice grid so far
Gorgeous pic, Mitch!
thanks Ank, got it
good morning FMitch:)
*blinks* Mitch, I'm sorry, I always thought you were male. Never noticed in profile before.

Oh, choke me with a shrimp! Thanks, Dianne, Flosey. Oh, YAY Flosey!
thanks Ank, need anymore?
Yes... let me try to finish my se's by myself first. Hey, Volley, you still with us?
Okay...se5,10?
still here
have 70 words left lol
careful VolleymomDee, this game can get addictive lol:)
Good morning all - just arrived to see what the grid has in store for us today.
Okay, you see how we talk about st5,10? That means we need a word that starts se, has five letters, for ten points. BUT you need to know -- 4 letters means points equal the numbers on the tiles. FIVE letters means DOUBLE those numbers.
Haz! Not so bad!
good morning Haz:)
se5/10 - think dog, Irish se**** - drop last 2 letter and make plural.
Oooh, have we caught another victim?
Yes, be nice to Volley, she's been her less than an hour.
Morning Haz It's been a fast grid so far but just ground to a halt at 103
lol it seems we have Haz
Looks like she is getting hooked from the get go.
Oh, Dianne, really, slap me with a sturgeon. I had the singular.
lol years and years ago was a boggle addict, but it has been a terribly long time ago
Yeah... she already longs for a wee flag, I can tell!
Who gets the prize for capturing her?
*buffs nails with nonchalance*
THis is like Boggle, but much quieter. In terms of decibels, that is. The chat here can get quite loud.
Ankh did, she is our resident mother hen today.
Well, VolleymomDee, you know who to blame when the going gets tough. Ankhorite!
*flaps her little hamster wings*
LOL
Well, I remember what I wanted to know when I was new, not so long ago.
it's wonderful being hooked but does anyone actually get a full ights sleep anymore?
No sleep, no housework, no food. You'll adapt.
I mean I get up to see to the children or to let cat in and I have to just check to see if I can find last few words *g*
rofl
Dear One has been abed for three hours.
I only got up to let the dogs out and here I am went to bed at 2am lol

Nice to meet you too. Thanks, Haz. *yawns a mighty hamster yawn*
Nighty night Ankh

Hello. Welcome to Volleymom!
Good morning Biltong.
Hi & thank you!
How are you, Haz?
I'm well, thanks, Biltong.
40 T words I had better get back to the search Hi Biltong
Gosh, I hadn't looked at the statistics.
Hi FMitch, one consolation though, there are no re words
I only looked as I cant see any more words at the mo. May have to go to the list soon True Biltong no re's does make a change.
I just popped in to see what the grid is like. I'll be bacl later. Enjoy!
Bye BIltong, see you later.
Later Biltong
Hi everyone, 39 words to go, but not a sniff of the 8? clues welcome!?!
rants
Haven't got it yet Ishult

OOHPS!! sorry, always do that after 1st chat of day!!!
Great clue Dianne, thanks.
Thanks, Dianne
TY Dianne
YW all
... and for those that needed to know it means ... the interior curve or surface of an arch or vault
Thank you, dictionary corner.
thanks dianne great clue
and look at me - i thought it had something to do with meeting someone..........
That sounds reasonable to me.
It does sound like that Dianne, now that you've said it.
especially in south America.
Anyone have clue for the 1st de7/32?
The first one I have is to make something clean again.
Yup that'sthe 1st one lovely thanks.
That's good! I've got to 110 and am about to trawl the che chat log for clues.
And I'll give my fingers and brain a good talking to, in order to get them to cooperate....
LOL Im on 112.
We'll agree not to race, shall we?
We won't race or play guess what I am missing :)
Just looking up the chat log - hurshy had 92 in 9 minutes. She's slowing right up.
Sheesh and I was pleased with my 80 in 30 mins
Going that fast doesn't give you the chance to welcome each word properly. And it's bound to play havoc with the keyboard, eventually.
de7/32 - de + what you get on you pants when you slide on grass.
Thanks Dianne
FMitch ihave 82 and started yesterday
just found a nice run of words - or5 and 2 x 6 all related to public peaking. Hi diem, thats a good chunk of words.
*public speaking, heaven help my typing.
public peaking - show off mountaineers?
I know, I know!
Better than private peeking. You can get arrested for that.
found o's related to clergy, too
WTG Volley
Just found a nice poem related se7 - six six line stanzas. se plus consonant then Miss Turner
was soooo excited; having an awful time with remaining a's
I have 2 a's to go....
Haz are you talking about Ike and T Turner, can't get yr clue to work :((
Yes - se plus consonant then Ike's partner
Or three letters relating to six, then the wild-haired one.
st 7 --- boos and his*** + ike's partner
Good morning Enemy!
Luckily I had a fresh haddock handy, finally got there
Hello, Haz
Are you freshly arrived, Enemy?
And what do you make of the grid so far?
I plug and plod and enjoy the search
Good morning everyone :)
That sounds good. I do wish we could have oxter (scots armpit) but the x is redundant this morning.
Good morning Karys!
Strange to ahve to address someone as Enemy Karys and happy cat!!!! Morning
I know - Beast is another one where I always feel as if I'm insulting the person!
I think ewess should be a word
Why?
lady sheep goddess?
it sounds cool when you say it lol
sure
morning, afternoon all. diving in for the day.
Good morning BDG.
Good morning Gwen
stuck now !

hello everyone
(need to catch up!) 8-)
Good evening lynxxx.
ty gwen :)....hello lynxxx
hello
Evening lynxxx
hiya mitch, infernal!
ooo...this is a silly grid, I keep trying to go and do something else and then I find another word !
hello infernal
Hi BDG The grid is nice like that today Karys, words just falling out of it ... and then they suddenly dry up lol
yeah, and look at the right tier. Nothing! LOL
hey gwen sorry registring new backpack
right;...on this particular drying up session, I WILL go and do something else ( reluctantly )....back in a bit
(wondering how one registers a backpack, or why)
Oh soryry its a new targus laptop backpack by paying $100 aus (my otherhalf bought it for me) you get a lifetime warentee
TIme to go and do other things. It's a nice grid, very few really peculiar words, by babble standards anyway.
pardon my spelling i cant really see all that good out of my right side tonight
hmmm, just for the backpack, or does that include the laptop?
nope just for the backpack the laptop was a grand
yee-ouch!
(then again AUD are smaller than USD, aren't they?)
um hang on a sec
AUD1000 = USD700 = GBP400 ....ish
my eyeballs are crossing... is my game automatically saved?
Bye Haz catch up later :)
Yes it is Volley
It is Volley
good morning everyone. So far this has been a well behaved grid
Yep about that lynxx,
just storted
ty lynxxx; ty all so much for nice welcome. I'll be back to visit! Have a great day all!
Bye Volley
Bye Volley - see you again!
there is way too many doubles that im seeing double, bye volley
Hi Eva
Morning/afternoon everyone. Looks like I just missed Haz. I did get the Fireworks yesterday, but didn't bother chatting, there was a silly little troll making a nuisance of herself. Hopefully Rolin has sorted her out
Gwen my partner doesn't want the very expensive new toy to get damaged that is why he got me a back pack so i can travel.
Oh dear wren, thats not like rolin, must of had a bad hair day, how big was yesterdays grid?
Hello ExWren! belated congrats then for yesterday. You would be liking todays?
i cant wait to go and get this in pro form got the card now to do it
There were roughly half of today's total in yesterday's grid. I haven't looked at todays grid yet.
there was 78 words i just checked archive, i was too busy at work over the weekend to log in
ExWren - it seems easier today -although only half way through. anyway must get back to it!
infernal, ahh, i guess that makes more sense than what i was thinking 8-)
(only 33 words left and haven't starting "cheating" yet!!)
when i get a back pack i try to get one with a lifetime guarentee, its handy if its used every day, Way to go gwen i amk about to cave in
18 left....think I
think I'll rest for a while and then try the list
oh i already got 30
What is considered cheating? Where are the rules that establish what a babbler does to be considered a cheat?
I can't think of anything that would be considered cheating. Everyone has their own patters of what and when they use help.
nothing is cheating its asking for help, the only one you are cheating is your self, go as far as you can then look at licketys list
it's about keeping it interesting but not excrutiating
Someone came up with a great line on that Enemy - the only cheating is a solver program, the rest is research.
by "cheating" i mean looking at the licketysplit page and using the 2-letter clues. Oh, and also asking you guys for clues!
if nothing is cheating how can you cheat yourself?
some people use a2z, or different word finding programs. Others use nothing.
"cheating' is in the mind of the player only - no rules except those each player imposes upon him/herself. Hi Enemy!
(that's why I used the quote marks, ya know)
and when I'm really stuck i use that a2z page sometimes. helps find the "weird" words i've never heard of
When I use morewords.com I feel like I'm cheating, but I only do it when I'm totally desperate... not gonna say hi, just in here to shut down the computer. :) And most days I don't finish -- I'm not one of the big competitors. But once in a while, a missing word will REALLY annoy me, and then it's morewords time! BBLater, all.
Sorry i think to me cheating is when you look at the grid 'go i cant be arsed trying i'll look at the list' instead of giving it a go, I also say what lynxx said as its better said
sorry i really cant see the screen properly so i apoligise for the poor spelling
If I am going to be labled a cheater for specific conduct, I want to know what that conduct is. To be thought of as a cheater is offensive to me.
this grid today so far only has a few "weird" words and they're ones i already know
*blinks* I guess I missed something... I don't think anyone can label someone here a cheater. I label myself that way when I hit morewords; and I try to resist Lickety's list now that I have some experience; but I can't imagine anything anyone ELSE would do that I would call cheating.
I can't imagine that anyone would consider you a cheater. The only times I have seen people get a bit miffed is when someone comes on and asks for basically every word to be given to them, without making any effort themselves.
NO enemy not saying you are cheating i get grilled for saying 'im off to cheat when i use lickteys list and amo instead of saying 'my brain is dead im off for help
Oh,yeah, Eva, but that's just ruuuude. I've only seen it from trolls I suspected were under age 15. Okay, turning this off now, no matter how attractive the chat may be! BBL! :)
bye ankhor
Surely the best way is to do what you feel comfortable with. For myself being limited for time I try to get over halfway - thats a victory for me!!
hey hey hey, I'm the one who use the word "cheating" and it was in quotes and it was about me! so don't be miffed
I will put my hand up on that one eva, i was a multi cluer at first then i got the hamg of the game now i don't ask unless im getting a waffle head from the keyboard
'pokes out my right eye so i can focus the left better'
no infernal-you were enver like that. Asking for clues a lot int he beginning is just fine.....and sometimes we all geet tired and need a lot of help. Ankho was right-it's been trolls.
Anyway, we all seem to be in agreement that there's no such thing as cheating.
Um i think i could be classed as a troll at first to, but now im a reformed troll and try to respect everyone. I hit my self with the attitude adjuster stick
oh dear im really lossiing it i failed to se a we 4/9 since im cateering one on saturday
Far be it from me to challenge your trolledness herinfernal(-:
rasberry at eva. Im so dead i just told my partner that i would 'fix the bag up when im a lot more concentrated' i think i poored one to many jugs of cordial over the weekend
that raspberry woke Merp up herinferna
Who is merp?
my cat-the handsome guy in the picture
The best thing about the chat is the way you can differ but never fall out and do it over 2 or 3 continents - where else could you do that?
it is very neat JFB
CUTE
my neck and shoulders are sending me clear messages that I've been babbling too long, so time for a break. See you all later.
Great fun! I'm well past my target [103] so I ought to do something else. bbl
Bye JFB
Hi all - just back for a bit. I think we might be up to 5 continents by now.
Hi Dianne. you are right. have we ever had anyone on from South America (really, that is, not the people with the I-wish flags)
dianne, i thought i knew all the flags but what is yours?
I've never seen anyone from South America but that doesn't mean that there isn't a lurking player from there :)
Hong Kong
ahh, very nice! TY
finished - anyone need anything before I go?
Oy, you are too fast for me! LOL
Congrats Dianne! I have got too many to find - but you could tell me if you used the X in any words
(not ready to ask for clues yet, thanks)
yah dina
the x isn't used at all.
opps sorry that was yah dianne
TY
morning, all--snuck in for a minute or 2
good morning pam
thanks dianne, so the x is there to annoy
there's 8 or 9 tiles here that you can't use, as far as i can tell

Book Dr. - maybe a self tanning lotion with botox in it ?
Thanks dianne you just gave me a word
infernal, wish i knew -- found the picture on the web somewhere -- it was a while back -- i just saved the picture in my colection of DW jpgs
mmmm first doctor of new series
the dalek is out of proportion (from a "real" dalek) but fits in the plate nicely
you need to google, darlek yellow truck for the darleck song
infernal, you find the 9th doctor hot?
infernal, yup, seen the yellow truck video. very LOL
umm kinda cute but the captain was cuter
oh bleachh! the captain was not my type!!
i said kinda i didn't say hot, johnny depp is hot
evening everyone :)
sorry, i can't help you LOL
see you all later! enjoy
Hi Sunny !
ta pam!
hey Lynxxx!
BBS getting coffee and clearing my head for the next rush of words - not!
found some more words at last, down to 20!
i've only knocked out 32 words so far..... you guys seem to do a whole grid in a few hours or less!!
sunny, it's called OCD <g>!
Good morning fellow Babblers! Excuse my jammies and yawns, I'm awakening when I'm usually preparing for bed. (bf is doing a day shift today so we're topsy-turvy)
back in a sec of to do some ca work
hiya Metal :)
hiya metal, still liking your Cha-La-Gi icon!
One measly 'e' at the bottom of the grid is NO help whatsoever
tyvm... what's today's theme? I'll dress appropriately for the day and save the syllabary info for another day
It is Prostate Cancer Awareness
ty ExWren
brb y'all
wren, you will come to love that E
Hi Metal.
ExWren - its Mo'vember in Melbourne (at least). Guys grow moustaches and raise awareness - and money - to support Protrate Cancer Awareness - do you have this over there?
hi lynxxx, didn't mean to be slow to respond, was getting my ribbon
opps, I am suffering from a sore throat.
Wait, what happened, first I said good morning all and thought I had hit return...
Not that I am aware of lynxxx. It seems as if we are only just beginning to talk about it at all. If you have read my profile today, you will see that my husband has had the big 'C', but we also know at least a dozen men who are in varying stages of it
wonder if I might get a small clue for the in 8?
can't help yet phandmd.:(
Wren, I don't mean to pry, but how did you first become aware of your husband's illness... I mean, what prompted you both to see a doctor?
G'd Morning all! I hope this grind is gentler with me than yesterdays's was
grind? is that a freudian slip?
This is an excellent subject choice. My Father is a 15 year + survivor.
hi Lori
ExWren - perhaps you can pinch this idea then. Prostrate awareness has become quite 'commonplace' over here as a result of a lot of media attention/publicity. All very good as the earlier it is detected the better. I haven't read your profile yet but I will - best wishes for your husbands total recovery.
LOl Phan, nope, just a poor typist
hi Lori
ph it starts in
Yah, got that far...
Without putting too fine a point on it metal, he found he was getting up several times in the night, then not able to pee
got to get some work doen, see y'all, bbl, bye
bye Gwen
Later bdg
see ya later Gwen
There are more and more articles in the press about it now
ty Wren, I'm sort of the health watchdog for my fella and was wondering what to watch for
A regular exam is the way to go, signs or not.
SWAP (baseballcards) drop last letter add two in spanish
I shall never forget the look on Bill's face when his Consultant just came right out with it and said "you have cancer".
ExWren, how did he feel going to a doctor?? My MOTH is very shy about the whole consultation side of checkups. He says he has enough to cope with getting regular colonoscopies for his Crohns disease.
In Aust tey are encouraging ALL men over 40/50 to have a simple annual bloodtest with rectal examination as well which can detect early stages of the disease even before other symptoms - my husband actually had these done this week.
The examination and biopsy is not a pleasant experience, but better than dying an awful death.
thanks Diem.. good clue
it's an uphill fight to get my fella to go to the doc. when he has pneumonia... but after eight years together, he's learning not to resist when I "encourage" him to see the doc.
was that a clue for the in 8?
I'll make it a point to see that he has an exam next trip to the doctor.
When he was diagnosed his PSA blood count was 6.9%, they cannot detect it now.
very good clue indeed Diem
Gosh, now I feel stupid, I don't get it :-(
why do most men have such a hard time seeing a doctor??
Because we're cowards!
especially about things... "down there".
phan... what do you do with baseball cards? you swap them. what's another word for swap?
lol maverick!!
combine that resulting answer with the spanish word for two
It's changing with the generation IMO. Dad is now 85, my brother, who previously would NEVER go (is now 56), goes regularly and has convinced male friends of teh ebnefit as well.
intra
:) @ Maverick
Oops - wrong box. Sorry!
I had the first part it was the last part I didn't get, think I got it now
yup
thnx
yvw phan
But, yes, we're cowards, and we'd rather die than have some guy fiddle about with our private parts.
I think most women feel the same way about pap smears but the benefits outweigh the embarrasment
I see a female gynecologist and that seems to be the trend lately
111 words!
Exactly sunny.
true sunny
you're doing great phan!
wish I was feeling great though
you're sick?
Go phan! What is the word total today please?
I seem to be the exception, though - I've got no problems with doctors taking a look. Or nurs... Never mind...
146; yeah my daughter decided to share her cold with me.
woo i think my head just did a 3 sity
Thank ye phan
load up on vitamin C and stay hydrated
hey Herin!! how was the wedding??? wait.... it was last week wasn't it??
um on the bellow comment one of my doctors had above the table 'its moments like these you need minties'
Bless you, Phan. Chicken soup, a nice up of tea, and wrap up tight!
C and Eccinachea (sp?) and zinc. I got to get better as my oldest is having her sweet 16 this weekend
this weekend is the wedding the last weekend was a 5 day do for the church group
lol Herin :)
thanks for remembering sunny
i just found out someone i know is rorting social security and it isses me off that we have dobbed him in before and he keeps doing it
are you prepared for it or is the groom still giving you grief?
grief lots, i must go find two grooms now
oh sunny your little one is a cutie
im so cross right now im grinding my teeth
Herin - keep ratting on him. He's defrauding the taxpayers.
thanks Herin, he is a livewire. A mega personality
we do from 2 people and they don't listen, he just got 2 grand for selling a website and in the 30 min i was gone i found out this information and im not a computor nerd
And there's nothing wrong with a guy being like that. Think about it - he has no control, he's praying he doesn't say the wrong name at the altar, and he's hoping you won't kill him, the best man and half the guests if he passes gas during his speech.
no Maverick... Herin is the caterer not the bride.
My apologies! Replace you with she... Although, if he's paying you, he should be a bit more courteous.
yay me, 100 words so far and haven't resorted to the list yet. don't thnk it will be much longer before I do
go metal! only got 79 :(
well done metal
Well done, milady! ONly 85 here...
maybe my new secret method (four and a half hours sleep at the wrong time of day, an hour and a half of the cat stomping me, then getting up when I'm usually going to bed) seems to be working. LOL
tyvm
Um mervick its a commitment cerrimony its two guys i thought i said that earlier maybe not, opps sorry if i confused you
I've not been here too long, I'm afraid. And I've had about 3 hours sleep. I'm just... Ugh! On the plus side, coming back to the puzzle with a fresh head seems to be working...
stalled at 116, bbl
im just looking at a way to screw this person legally
so why isn't westie a word?? or is it just aussie slang?
witt
we call a west highland white terrier a westie
darn it!! sorry
I've half a piano keyboard left to find, I'm hungry and my feet are cold. Perhaps taking a head-clearing, food finding and sock putting on break will solve all three problems
I thought it was too. Mind you, I can't believe I wasn't allowed trainset...
No it isnt just Aussie slang we call them westies too
Herin, you in the UK?
and a good strong cuppa metal...
trainset is a nice word
I have my cola at hand already, but a nice cup of strong tea does sound a treat, or perhaps hot chocolate.
lol deeha, they're everywhere!
brb
I like your hobbies deeha!
I am such an old snob!!
Well, I'm a student, and I think it's a great hobby!
I was onbce accepted on Weakest Link but found out you had to stay over night and I couldnt leave my disabled husband so couldnt go but that might have been a case of biter bit!!
nah.. game shows are always good for a laugh! esp the ones where suspense builds for a question like "who is the current prime minister?" and thay have to phone a friend!!
*they.
One of my best was 'who wrote'I wish I'd looked after me teef' and the answer was Wordsworth
Could be worse - my family are desperate to get me onto the X Factor... I'm the retirement fund!
You wouldnt have a lot of competition!!
X-factor?? not familiar...
wind
winds
sorry sorry sorry sorry
OK, do you have one of those really stpuid Idol shows, where you watch it to laugh at all the really bad auditions, and then don't care who wins?
yup!
The singing ones?
yup yup!
Sorry Maverick my details are Female, 29 years old and live in melbourne Aus sorry i was busy
thats exactly it I give up once the serious competition starts and watch reruns of Poirot and Midsomer Murders!!
Oh, OK. Just wondered if I could be any help, but I'm UK-based, as is my knowledge. Many apologies.
And sunny - it's like that, but with Sharon Osbourne as one of the judges.
soclsh!!! what a debacle that must be!
Its ok maverick if this guy continues to be a pest im sure someone some where will turn him into fish food, his issed enough people of
Hi all, may I have a clue for the 8 please
hey perri aint got it yet
woot i just counted 3 'battle'scars from this weekend of cooking
Little trick from the lovely Brazilians - get a can of expanding foam (think the stuff they use for wall insultaion). Grab your victim by the Adam's apple, and hold for 10 seconds. When you let go, they gasp. Shoot the foam down their throat. Fills up their lungs, then disintegrates inside the body... after doing the job, of course!
No help here, just got started a bit ago. G'd Morning peri
we get aussie idol, AND american idol,AND so you think you can dance, AND dancing with the stars, AND the list goes on and on... I am getting pay-tv back on to escape!! Hi Peri. in+ ****baseball cards but drop last vowel+ spanish for two
Wow whats your hobby maverick amateur assasin!!!!

in8.45 - in***veneous injection + the doctor gave me a ***e of medicine to make me better
No, I studied global gang cultures for my French assignments at college.
oh sunny i saw that 'you think you can dance' in thought it was crap
In australia expanda form is great for sticking in tail pipes of cars
I'm nobody! Who are you? Are you nobody, too? Then there's a pair of us – don't tell! They'd banish us, you know. How dreary to be somebody! How public, like a frog To tell your name the livelong day To an admiring bog!
I am learning so much today and not only new words!!
mmm theres an idea bog of eternal stench
Random clue time! Or 6/18 - Looks pretty, and expensive...
8start in then swap (baseball cards) drop last letter add spanish two
oh and potatos for a less permanent problem thanks merick
So, is that a renunciation of Ms Dickinson's work?
thanks sunny and diem for the 8 clues

De 7/32 (There's 2, they use the same letters, different order) - to remove a mark, or to imprison
i am tired but my other half wont go to bed, so im mothering him
thanks Maverick
Tis a pleasure!
i think the boogle box got broken befor this clue box was made
Despite all the S, A, T, and Ns, I can find neither Santa, nor Satan in this!
Anyway, I'm gonna run, guys. Good luck!
But the grid does contain a lot about speeechifying
Thanx for the in8 clue, Lynx. I never would have found it alone.

hi annie
G'd morning all new arrivals!
hi inge and hodag, and anniebrook. we share a common name annie:)
hi ya Lorip & sunny
hi sunny, I read about your little boy. I hope the time goes quickly for you and him. It will one day be only a memory. Everything will be fine.
hi inge, hodag, annie
hi metal!
Hi Sunny - read your profile - hope your gorgeous little guy gets sorted - remember - every everything passes
thanks Annie.
gm meatal hows it going?
thanks Ursh.
it's a bit odd today hodag, I'm up while the sun is shining. bf is doing a day shift today so our clock is shifted accordingly
a switch like that takes some getting use to metal.
metal, you're going to get jet lag
LOL and prayers to you and the little guy sunny.
I agree wholeheartedly Annie, hodag... it's only for today and tomorrow it's back to nights for two days, then one day off then another day, then a day off then two nights.
lots of switching up for these next several days. it should even out once he switches to the new job.
he'll be two weeks one schedule, then two weeks the other schedule. still hard to change, but easier than switching every day.
It sounds as if he is a fireman
lots of luck to you metal.
it's a change from all nights, but the commute is much shorter and the money is almost half again per hour.
Can someone throw me a bone on any of the last 4 st's please? I apprear to have had a major case of brain fog.
he was a fireman at one time Annie, and is still certified as a firefighter I. his job now is as an emt provider and security officer and he's transitioning into dispatching for the city 911 services with an eye toward possibly becoming a paramedic later on

I thought it was an unwritten rule that 3rd letters weren't given out.
st's involve, for example, being left on an island with no means of escape
oh dear really i am sorry, its news to me, i shall not ask again x
np M3
there apparently are many conventions that some follow. As far as I am concerned, we are here to have fun. There are no written rules; only opinions by some.
is the de 7 a fish?
i got now xx
I have two de7's, neither a fish. one holds back, the other removes an unwanted mark
the de 7 = de + st 5/10 see a fish lol

The board was too easy today, I was trying to put off housework?!
change the vowel, evan
What is this housework you speak of....
lol evan - you are making a ro4/5 for your own back!
Tis a bad, bad word. Was thinking of shoving it all under the bed.
I have a couple weeks of work starting tomorrow, and I'll have to Babbble in the evening (I hope). Be a real shame to avoid the housework....
The twins are at grandmas for a week and all I want to do is laze around, but I know I should get done those things that are hard to do when they are here, like tearing down the old trailer in the back of the property, sigh.
Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off until next week!
Lol, I'm having a sign made! You're my scape goat to when the hubby comes home to a mess, I'll say "LoriP told me to!".
I've said to the hub and the kids many times. I don't want to be remembered for my housekeeping. :-)
I have broad shoulders. I'll take the blame!
LOL. I'm all talk, I better get started. Wrap the last of my presents before the kids find em, they are poking around. Ya'll have a good afternoon.
I periodically designate several days cancelled for rlack of interest ... and quite often am neither for nor against apathy
Have a good one bunny. Now I feel guilty because I'm avoiding my work. Well, not THAT guilty.... :)
LOL Enemy. I like the way you think!
i remember i had an elementary school teacher who had my favorite poster ever in her classroom -- it was a picture of Garfield and it said "I'll procrastinate later..."

Good day, Mom
Hi EnemyisME
hello Mom
hello, what's our theme today?
mom? are you my mom? She is 90 years old and just learning the computer!
Hi Mo
Hi Harpjane
hi everyone
Cherrypop, not quite 90 -- 49. How neat that your mom is doing that.
HI Capemaggie
Prostate Cancer awareness is the theme today
She just got back from a trip to Hawaii! Just can't keep her down!
That is wonderful. May she have many, many more years of travel and excitement
Hello Harpjane, it is Prostate cancer awareness. I am hoping we can save a few men's lives
I have alerted all my male relatives since a friend was just diagnosed and had surgery.
'Morning, all. ExWren, thank you for your icon. My hubby just completed an 8-week radiation therapy regimen and is recovering well... but it is scary and exhausting for him. All is quite good, now.
Hi Scarlet
Hi Mom!! That sounds so wonderful to say.
My dad, at 73, just had the radiation seed implants in October.
My loved one also has Parkinson's Disease, and was not considered a very good candidate for the seeds nor the surgery.
Best wishes to your husband, Scarlet. My husband finished his radio therapy two years ago now, and his PSA count is zero
I am "mom" to everyone, except my mom and dad. It is a title I treasure.
ok, im missing one R -- its either a 4 or a 5. heres what i have: ra4 5 ra4 4 ra5 10 ra4 5 ra5 12 ra4 4 ra4 4 ra6 21 ra5 10 ra4 4 ra5 12 ra5 10 ro4 5
I am so sorry Scarlet, I hope this will have helped and no more radiation will be necessary
I love being Mom, and "Baba" to our four absolutely fabulous grandchildren. Well, Mom, loved one's PSA is .02, and he will continue with the Lupron for another two years.
r 4/4 rodant
*BLIND* i swear i tried that one! *DOH!* thanks enemy!
I will keep you both in my thoughts. I am just Mom, no grandchildren. Our sons are 22 and 18 and in college and no serious love interest.
ExWren and Mom, loved one will never be allowed to have another regimen of radiation... he had the max allowable by science.
Dad will go back for blood work and check up here soon.
My friend going back for test today-hope the news is good.
any breast cancer survivors here beside me
I am not, but my mom is 26 years cancer free
almost 3 years for me
that is wonderful Capemaggie
Congratulations capemaggie

bye rolin:)
hi snowy
I felt that way in October, snowy... luckily this month is not so hectic.
ty for the na5
It's nice to see you, snowyowl! We were talking the other day about strategies for looking busy while babbling and Jacula hadn't heard about your keeping a duster in the study at all times. A stroke of genius.
Ah, but Snowy, strangers are just friends you haven't met before...
Thank you, Haz!
There are some strangers I'd rather NOT make friends with.....
welll i have eight left but it's walk time - see you later.btw - if you can come up with strategies for work...my boss know the geen screen so the ability to chage color of the grid would be good
first in 6,18 please

So the duster wouldn't work at work? Hmmmm.

Or Fireworks, whatever the case may be
Well done bubba!!
YAY bubba!
and we cannot get lickety at work
Guys, there's always the classic quick-change. Hold ALT and press TAB. You can change the screens really quickly...
Everyone is so friendly here which is great, but you lose touch when you babble irregularly. LolHaz - I have loads of those, my friends mother used to spray polish into the air as her husband came up the drive & he told everyone what a marvellous house keeper she was!
congratulations bubba:)
bubba is just thinking about what type of tree to put up: pine, spruce, fir, artificial...

Either way, I get stung . .
msilver -- are you still having trouble?
{{{tor}}} *offers hot chocolate and fresh sugar cookies for dipping*
Yes. I have an appointment witth a neurologist and I have to have an MRI.
Torgone's either fantastically brave, or incredibly stupid to answer back to a woman...
Both, Mav ..
I was in a car accident about 20 years ago and have some lingering effects with speech as a result. I am glad you are going to get yourself looked at.
Excellent!

okay, total brain blockage. AD 5 please?
LOL Tor!
On the lickety clue page, how do you know which word the clue is for, in terms of the order?
where are you seeing the D at evan?
You're kidding me???? The D?
stid -- to decorate
Just a reminder before we go too far, children sometimes play this game... keep it appropriate.

blood -- thanks! i just downloaded the new CD, so i need to get familiar with it before sunday!
ONE ...
so anticlimactic... a plural
that shouldn't be too hard. they're pretty easy to listen to over, and over, and over, and over again...
firewords
YAY STID!
bllodaxe -- "how bout the power...to move you..."
Thank you Torgone.
okay, now I need to play with stidluck, who has tried to climb into my lap three times in the last twenty words. *sigh* german shepherds are so persistent!
hahaha...brilliant even. my fav is OBVIOUSLY Tribute...the best song in the world.
later all!
bye stid.
Hooray and bye stid!
"there shined a shiny demon....in the middle....of the road...."
Hey Peaches! Good grid today, once you get started, it flies!
"...Or I'll eat your souls", and we said, "Okay".
"plaayyy the best song in the world...or I'll eat your soul"
But Tribute's not the best song in the world. It's a tribute to the best song in the world. And if you look at the music behind the song - there's even a small section I've only heard on the live recordings that's blatantly taken from it - the song's all about Stairway to Heaven.
that's right dached!
this is true maverick, but i can honestly say that I like Tribute much more than I like Stairway to Heaven.
"he asked is *snarl* 'be you angels?' and we said 'Nay. we are but men.' Rock ON!!"
hahahaha..ROCK!
Hi Dachef - CATHB had lunch at your place last week & enjoyed herself -I still haven't got there yet! Am planning an escape route so mry get there sometime!
It's more fun, I'll give it that, but Stairway's just awesome.
dang, now i wish i would have brought my dvd with me....7 loooooong months until i can see it again.
MissyNelson are you around?
Bye Stidmama!
But why should you not be alarmed if there is a rustle in the hegero
Oh, goodness... Livin' On A Prayer just came on my media player. Do I let it play, or not?
Hedgerow, even?
you TOTALLY let it play!
Dachef! Hi!
Because it's just a sprinkling from the may-queen.
the dvd has footage for them playing on tv shows. they played on Mad TV and Dave Grohl was playing the drums.
It's just a spring clean for the May queen . . . .(?)
Hi Ata! LTNC!
Maverick...you NEVER turn off Bon jovi.
The weird thing is, neither of us knows if we're right. I think that's the nature of Stairway. Plus, the unbelieveable reverse lyrics...
wow evan....it's obvious that we're both 27;
hah -- its a good age to be bloodaxe!
ok I have to jump in too now to join the 27 year old club!
it's the best!
yay catty!
Oh, I still insist 19's better. I was born the year this came out! Love Bon Jovi, but there's better songs than Prayer...
The lyric "sprinkling for the MayQueen" is an allusion to a pagan festival, where the men were encouraged to consecrate the ground.
bon jovi was my first concert....i think i was about 10...heh
BTW, I just totally made that up.
maverick, my favorite is "Blaze of Glory".
And now Extreme have come on... Get The Funk Out! :D
was a huge BJ fan myself.... weird! Dry County.
good work evan. mine was Willie Nelson. I was 5.
see, prayer is one of my faves... i guess wanted dead or alive is close up there too
I'm a fan of those too . .
tor -- *tsk!*
Raise Your Hands is awesome. And, yes, I'm a Young Gun too...
Oh YEA... I forgot about Raise your Hands...the intro to spaceballs!
that's one of the best guitar riffs ever!
for an intro, that is.
My first "concert" (because my sisters wanted to go, so they used me to get their own way) was the Backstreet Boys, age 6, or something...
ah, Spaceballs! "You didnt see anything did you?" "No sir, I specifically did not see you playing with your dolls again sir!" Classic movie.
my first concert was the backstreet boys hehe
"they've gone plaid...."
maverick, another one of my firsts was Amy Grant.
I would've judged you without those inverted commas Mav!!
"may the schwartz be with you!"
"oh my god, they've jammed the radar!" "mmm, raspberry. I hate raspberry."
I also know all the lyrics to Mmbop - by choice, though...
bloodaxe used a word, bloodaxe used a wooooord...
OH NO!!!!
I DID...i'm sorry.
i'd better settle down a little. i'm getting too excited about all of the early 90's talk.
Anyone remember Warrant? :P
catty, are you from scotland?
dirtyrottenfilthystinkinrich
will -- jani lane is an "actor" in one of my favorite movies...haha
i grew up on that stuff maverick.
jani lane's in a movie? is it anything like Bret Michael's movie?
Yup. Glasgow to be precise... (Mmbop is okay- good cheesy pop)
I was introduced to some of the wors... Err, I mean, better cheese through a very hairy friend of mine...
OK off to prepare dinner -We now have a fully functioning loo & the door is in place -air only pale blue -husband only slightly stressed -good result! BBL
hah....its called High Strung *friggin* hilarious
And now you've said Brett Michaels - Do that Unskinny Bop for me!
aaaaahhhhhh.....Poison....the band that made me a man.
your momma dont dance and your daddy dont rock-n-roll!
26 to go, back to work bbl
dang..i have to go. evan, check out "Letter From Death Row". Bret Micheals has a shaved head....
And Pamela Anderson a woman, ironically...
I think one of my first concerts was Devo ...
poison was my FAVORITE band growing up! ive seen them 4-5 times...
maverick...you said you're 19? it makes me so happy to see the the next generation is keeping REAL music alive....
bye everyone
Bubye!
bye blood

Gwen - ra 4/5 - rhymes with what you use to clap.

Wi 5/18 - Wi + what you do in the sun (and it's not Wi-burn-to-a-crisp!)
catty, what is your kitten doing? Sleeping all over the food? LOL
another new word, TY maverick!
LOL yea- I think he overdid it!! (not my own cat will be getting one soon though)
So, anyone need any more?
help, i still need TE 5/12 and 6/21
not male anatomy, i hope!
Te 5/12 - Te + seek, and ye shall (f)___
Te 6/21 - pluralise it. :P
ty mav
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! firewords!
wtg dr gwen
Thx. Will for the clues. Just getting started on the puzzle for the day and your clues were a great way to start!
well hello, Duff.
hmm, archaic word for tithe. who knew that? not me!!
Well, this is only my second puzzle, and I finished it thanks to some little bits of help along the way. I felt I should pay my debts back! :P
Hi, Wovie. How's it going?
maverick, exactly what i thought when i start lo these 3 weeks
good. That is my last name, you know. :-)
your handle, that is. :-)
32 left and time to hit the list
we need more puzzles like this, where you can just ignore 8 or 9 tiiles and really concentrate LOL
I hit the list at 30 as well, sapphie. :-)
No, I didn't know. My handle is not my last name. Just a reference of my love of golf.
Well, Sapphie, you missing any of the big ones?
missing the 8 and 3 of the 6's, but i'll work through the list and see what i get thanks Mav
figured. ;-)
bbl to help clue, bye for now
was thinking maybe I had a relative playing the game. :-)
bye Gwen
good morning - I've just gone to the list at 20 and the first word I get is the volcano (shame!)
Sapphie - In 8/45 - In + a word for swap, minus the last letter + Spanish for 2...
*yawn* im still semi-awake... anyone need any help?
I have 2 de7's, or7, se7, and st7. Can anyone please tell me the 2-letter start of the one I'm missing?
Maverick, I still don't have wi 5.18 about the sun. I don't get it.
lynx- thanks for the volcano. I didn't have it yet, either. I NEVER get it!
in, Vic
Vicuna...its
morning lynxxx
Am short a bunch of st's. st 6/21, 6/33, 6/18 and 7/32....
in7/28
In 7/28. Plural of In 6/18
Thanks, Wolvie! And thanks, Karys??? :)
hi lynxx
Wi 5/18 - Wi + Sun-___ Lotion
(Oh, there it is. Karys!)
yes...ok...I know...I get carried away sometimes ..LOL
St 6/21 - A thin piece of something, or an old British song - "Let's all go down the St____"
Thank you and there was one more wi.
TY maverick
St 6/33 - A word for how the meat in St 4/8 is cooked
st6/33....st***** as in prunes or lums
St 7/32 - Plural of St 6/21
Maverick, wi 5.20 I already have the breeze and color
St 6/18 - Money For Nothing, but ther'es nothing Dire about them...
Wi 5/20 - You put something on the end of the colour to get 5/18, but is there anything else that goes on the end? Look closely...
Maverick, I love them!!!!
What you've got to remember for the clue I gave to St 6/18, is it's less BrotherS in ArmS, and more Brother in Arm... If you get my meaning...
I already did that
Thanks guys!
with the color ending
it's amazing how many simple, easy words I miss until I look at the grid. sheesh
So, you got the 5/20 about the breezes? That badly-spelt colour has 2 letters that can go on the end of it...
It says I need one more W
have you the one to come first in the race msilver ?
I wish this was like ebay and you could bay a certifed babble instructor to come to your house and help you until you knew what you were doing. I would just once like to get fireworks.
clue for te 5/12 please?
Know where youre coming from silver..
Hey Spanner, that your dog?
te5/12...te + breeze - first letter
One of them..
te5.12 - te + ***dependance Day
Well, I guess that was it and it's only a 4 leter word, not 5. Thank you. And thank you Maverick. I am so confused. I think I have brain damage from the car accident.
I've been playing almost 2 years and never had fireworks. Of course I am always at work...
thanks lynxx and karys!
Spanner, I adopted one of those 2 1/2 years ago from a rescue in North Dallas. She's the best!
yw :)
Clues for the W words, in order, with number of letters - Marries (4). Not East (4). Soaks (4). Breeze (4). Breezes (5). Comes first (4). Wi + Sun-___ Lotion (5). A colour, without its second letter (4). Add a d to the colour (5). Add an s to the colour (5). Intelligence, smarts (4).
tried everything but the d. ;-)
Really? Its good that you did that sioux, cause they can go completely off the rails without firm handling. Blue is a sweetie though, a complete marshmallow
And you're welcome, msilver. If you need any help, just shout! :)
thanks mav- I'd missed coming first....the irony!
FIREWORKS
thanks for the help guys. :-)
wtg wolvie
Same with Reagan, a marshmellow, velcro angel! Took her camping for Thanksgiving and I believe she's still sleeping from all the exercise!
Congrats Wolvie !!!

Wish mine slept He is from workinf stock, both parents championship gundogs, and he just keeps going....and going... and going..
YAY! Fireworks!!
congrats momato
Have you introduced your dog to the concept of his own tail, Spanner? Not only great exercise, but so funny to watch... Too cute!
ty. :o) This puzzle seemed fairly easy. Not too many crazy words
thanks all - and Duff - hope i didn't upset you - it's just so unusual to see that name/word - unless you watch the Simpson's. ;-)
Congrats Momato!
Well done, Mamato! :D
congrats mamato1!
Hes docked unfortunatly mav
hi and bye! just dropped in to say my great niece was born this morning--healthy, beautiful, and with a full head of curly brown hair and a dimple--daughter and mom are doing great!

congrats une!!
hi/bye/congrats Une!
congrats une!
congratulations Mamato
Bye Wolvie
Sounds gorgeous Unea!
Sweet!
Rea takes turns sleeping on my bed when I am not home and on my 9 yr old sons bed at nite! Her tail is docked, too. Isn't that done when they are a couple of days old?
thanks! heading back to the hospital with flowers and cookies :-) BYE
last st6/18 please
I know I'm gonna kick myself but- ra 6/21? ;)
Docking, and Ear Cropping for dogs, just as is Declawing for cats, are cruel and barbaric practices which should be banned. Stepping down off my soap box now.
ra6/21 - past tense of ra4/4
St 6/18 - Money For Nothing, but there's nothing Dire about them...
They have banned it over here metal
great clue Mav
that's good to hear spanner. i wish they'd do the same everywhere
have that one Maverick
Though for working dogs, a good vet will do it, because the tails can be a hazard for them
I am immensely glad my cocker has a docked tail.msimply because she would spend the entire time with it getting caught in brambles and hurting it
yup! just like spanner said :)
Change the last letter, and take the St****!
Absolutely right Spanner and Atalante!
can I have a clue for or 6.18, please
Thanks Vicuna, (as promised am kicking myself!)
Don't kick too hard, catty!
I'm after the last st6.18 - after the st**** of hair
or 6/18 or****carving, intricate
lol, Am sure it won't be the last time tonight- 28 to go!!!
I understand your points, but will agree to disagree. on to a less volatile subject: the weather here is lovely today. clear blue skies, warm enough to have the windows open.
Oh, there's another 6/18 - Fender St***(ocaster), but this one can see through its *...
st6/18 - change the last vowel on a word meaning layers
Just 4 left, and determined to do this now w/out the list! Need one more 7 - I have st7, or7, de7x2. Missing?
clever clue, maverick
de7's??
back into the grid now, to ferret out the last 13
TY maverick
missing an st5- have twinkling things in the sky and to begin
ty mav, good clue
Se 7/28 - If Jesus was a girl, he might have been called Jesus Chri*****...
A friend of mine has a working weimeraner, which was undocked. it broke its tail 6 times and eventually the vet had to amputate it, causing great distress to the dog as it was 3 years old
de7- take away a soiled spot
Yay I have a new icon... It is a Snow Pirate!
de7 - pl of de6 meaning to keep in custody
Peri - st5 - a beer st***
thx vic, do you have the other too?
sapphie, I'm sorry. I knew I was missing one OR. But believe it not, I had that one. It's the little 4/4 that I just can't get.
nvm! thanks!!
So how old is Blue?
thanks lynxxx
I've seen the same thing with working labradors ... though I *do* understand your position, metal
4/4 or like the second so 5/10 and take off s
msilver - any p*** in a storm + plural
(Hi there, did you see the clue for the other de7?)
He is 2 now Sioux
nods, and I understand yours ... somewhat in the manner of one side of a coin understanding the other... or like US and British English.... linked but different
gd se7 clue maverick. TY.
yes, thanks! only 2 words left - or6+7. Help!
last one: in 8,24. little help?
Reagan is 4 1/2. We take her to the park and don't even need a leash...she's so sweet except when she counter surfs!
hi there, to make someone a priest
Or 6 - what you do to a priest/minister
Sorry I seem a bit slow but the dogs were having a fit at the logs falling in the wood burner
Hi Thre - in the church a priest is or**** ed + plural
Thanks BQ!!!! fireworks!

wtg bernice
Congrats Bernice
peri, went on a long tirade
NM
congrats Bernice
GJ BQ U R cool!
Have you heard of a "Gentle Leader"? It works in the same way as a bridle on a horse. Goes around the snout and when they pull....pressure. It's a dream for walking them! Not sure if they have a website...
last ra5/12 please
sorry, have 4xso4, 2xso6 - is there another?
peri, the map maker ra** mcnally, pluralized
go that Bernice
I have one. They are called halties over here, but dont ask me how he did it, but he bucked so much he got his whole head through the muzzle part and we had to cut it off him!!!!
the past tense of ra 4/4 then
that was the one, thanks Bernice
ooo just realised got 3 left!
13 eft here
Dachef there is another so4 - 5 in all
lol so did my brat spanner! at least she managed to get herself entirely wriggled through all the wrong holes!
Sounds like he is quite a character. Gotta love 'em tho!
We live on a common and we also own a couple of acres so the dogs get tons of exercise and they rarely need a leash to be honest
sioux - gentle leader does have a site; it's where I ordered one for my dobie mix. she's a good girl-she just gets VERY excited when we take her out of her own yard. This has made the task possible not just easier!
ty Lynx!
Atalante I am so glad to hear it, people accused me of putting it on him wrong
My sister adopted a Weimie too and she has problems walking hers....am getting the Gentle Leader for her for Christmas!
missing an ra4/4 right before the ra6/21 - have to r*** and rave
The dog, not my sister.
Beautiful dog Spanner, reminds me of a weimeraner/chow mix I used to have. She was a real beauty.
Peri - Indian royalty?
great gift sioux!
take the ra** and rave word, take off the last letter and then add 3rd vowel
They are excellent. Our labrador is a real sweetie and walks beautifully and I think it is porimarily down to the haltie. (He wasnt clever enough to do away with it!!)
peri, past tense of run, then first person pronoun
yay ***FIREWORKS***, ty for all the great cluers tonight
yayyy sapphie!
woo hoo
mine doesn't really go on her lead much either, only when we're crossing a road or somewhere near traffic. otherwise she just poddles along beside me
Congrats Sapph !
thanks Bernice\
yay sapphie
www.gentleleader.com
np, peri
12 left all T words
i'm off, gl on the rest
Thx Tracy!
Atalante how wonderful to have adog that puddles...mine both bound
"bye Bernice
well ... she bounds for 10 minutes, then poddles!
mine bound for 3 or 4 hours then sleep for 1 then want to go out again
metal that must have been really unusual. what colour tongue?
2nd ta5/10 and ta6/18 please
we have some lovely weimies round here. Hobbit has a weimie friend that she meets down on the beach every now and then :)
Really. Blue is the only one round here. Its real handy if he escapes....
She looked like a weimaraner as far as coat/coloring/conformation but if you "rolled back" her coat... she had the thick woolly undercoat of a chow. her tongue was black, and when she was a puppy her eyes were ice blue, changing to light amber when she grew up
peri, poisoned food is ta***ed
hi all!
hi Fran
Hi Fran
HI, Fran!! and thanks
She sounds lovely. I do love my weimie, though it wasnt my first choice to be honest. I wanted a hungarian viszla, but when I went to view, Blue chose me...
Not too many Weims in West Houston either. My folks had one for 16 years and the other for 14 years when we kids were growing up.
hi lynxxx! hi ml! hi peri, yw.
I have a friend who has 2 Weims. One of them ate an entire bath towel and had to have it removed surgically. Is that a Weim characteristic -- to eat anything?
ml, now i know why you complimented my ribbon last night! your icon hadn't refreshed for me yet!
ta5/12 please
There is a girl in a nearby village who used to have one. She had it put down due to the amount of destruction it caused. Thats why its nice to hear of people adopting unwanted ones
ta 5/12 anyone?
Tupperware, entire apple strudels, halloween candy, bars of soap (2), you name it!
great minds peri!
They are such a beautiful breed!
ta5/12 is a music term, slow down
ta5.12 black sticky stuff and a new hair**
we got lady because the salvage yard owners who owned her parents and used them as guard dogs didn't think she was much to look at or would amount to much. They saw her when she was about six months old and offered $500 for her. (She was as tall as a Weim., a bit stockier, and absolutely gorgeous... very protective but gentle and well-behaved)
they used to call slow kids reta**ed, add a vowel
If they are kept mentally and physically stimulated they are adorable and dont chew that much
thanks Fran and lynxxx
thanks guys
Mine just gets mad when we leave her. She thinks she needs to go everywhere we go!
yw
Mine do go everywhere with me but thats more my problem to be honest..
think I am missing the 3rd ta4/4
so does mine, spanner ...
peri, why in ta**ation would you think that?
At this moment Blue is tugging my trousers gently, cause he wants a walk
thanks Fran, I tried that word earlier and it was not accepted
yw peri
As a puppy, Lady was never a problem-child. No chewing, no problem to house train, no yapping. didn't even bark until she was about three months old and it came out basso profundo
Blue dear, its dark!
Arent they loud. When a weimie barks you really know about it
peri, you mean you don't try words over and over again no matter how many times babble says it's not a word? that's what i do. :-)
I do sometimes, Fran
she didn't like getting her bottom tickled by the grass when she went outside though... so when she was still just a wee thing, we had to take her to the edge of the grass so she could take care of the necessities there.
Hes not scared of the dark Ata, hes got a little flashing light on his collar, so I can see him too
how many words today?
146
146 braves
Arent dogs all complete characters I can never understand people who mistreat them
awww those things are great! hobbit has a special darkness collar with little red LEDs on
I have a Yorkie that thinks he is a German Shepard. I'm afraid one of these days he will learn the hard way.
We need them here....no street lights
te5/20 please
Duff they are so tenacious arent they
peri, te + married
Lady barked judiciously as opposed to frivolously. No growls, no warnings, just this huge volume of sound. Very effective as a guard dog... we lived in a rough part of town with a lot of foot traffic past the house.
thanks Fran, dear
no problem peri!
Yes, Spanner. He will not relent for anything. I wish I had that much spunk.
Weimies are excellent guards
3rd tr5/10 please
Nm found it and FIREWORKS
KNow what you mean. My sister in law breeds them. Does well at major dog shows. Bought one to my wedding on a pink satin cushion!!!!
peri- I keep nearly asking for a clue and you just beat me to it...it's getting spooky!
I'd like to have a Fila some day. We'd need a very stoutly fenced yard though because of all the children in this neighborhood.
Congrats Peri
Evening all
Congrats Peri!
hoooray Peri!

hi chic
and thanks peri
i need tr 6/18 and wi 5/20 please folks...
Hiya metal!
hi chic, i don't see a se6/33
I need the se7/28
Hi Fran, I meant st 6/33....
the tr6/18s are both plurals of the tr5/10s before them.
chic past tense of the 4 before
wi5/20 moving air, more than one gust of it, plural of the wi 4/9
chic, cooked a chicken for a long time
thanx fran, that's just how tired I am...
just need the st6/18 and the se7/28
se7/28 is a type of poem with six lines
I to go...or 4/5?
start with prefix for six + a woman's name
st6/18 is layers or plural of a type of cloud, it's a greek plural (not s on the end)
chic, or + commercial
clue for in8 plz
thanks fran
yw another
still trying to work out the se7/28
thanx, fran! that's me done... Time to lie down...

hi and bye ren8! i missed your arrival
bye all!
This is the first time I've ever played this. It's diabolical!
you take care fran
diabolical?
Well, challenging
it's certainly that
it's also very addictive
Hello wjydna, it is but very addictive
VERY addictive
can't go to bed until I've had my 'fix' of babble
How obscure are the more challenging words?
some of them are really obscure but everyone on here helps when you're stuck
sometimes deciphering the clues your given can be as intriguing as doing the puzzle
you're I mean
and there's always Lickety's Clues list to fall back on
the bible for us babbles
Am looking for the first st5/10 and the last st6/18. I'm getting square eyes looking for them and I have lessons to plan for tomorrow!!! help please :'(
catty: st5/10 a mark or spot on fabric
haven't started on the st's yet sorry
st6/18 layers, an anagram of the 6/18 previous to it
omg. I thought I had put that st 5/10 in so i was ignoring it. You're right though thanks metal- no wonder I couldn't find it!!
and... the "spot" is an unwanted one ... that may help
What does st6/18 mean? And such
yvw catty
Hi all - popped in to shut down for the night early clue for that st6 was plural wispy clouds
thanks metal, thats 2 less for me to find when I start on the st's
hi all
Hi Ursh
the letters are the first two letters of the word you're seeking
the first number is the number of letters in the word
and the second number is the total point value of the word
and kthdsn
hi ursh
hi kt
Had ladies dinner - good food - nice wine lots of man bashing so good laughs
wjy... if you'll look near the bottom of this page, beneath the grid, there are various links... the one "Angelsong's..." will take you to a great page with much information about Babble
wjydna - you need to bring up the lickety's babble clues link
there's a link there for Lickety's clue page also
that tells you what the first 2 letters are of each word and how long it is
hence you see people asking for clues for the st6/18 etc
************FIREWORKS*************
Thanks folks xx ;)
yayyyy catty!
congrats cattyrina
tyvm metal. x
Thanks! Looking at the links now. I just sat in a conference call and agreed to something... this page is VERY distracting!
it is like the Borg
resistance...
what's a borg
it's a race of Aliens/Hybrids from Star Trek
oh ok
they absorb other races, enhance them bionically... and are intent on taking over the entire universe
is futile
one of the lines concerning them is: Resistance is Futile
absolutely right EP
ok I've heard that quote before
hello........dropping in for a short break

ta 5/10 is between your * and your whoo-haw
angela! are you really evan?!?!?!
hahaha...ta5/10 whoo-haw, ta5/10 *....brilliant El Payo.
not last time I checked blood :)
:)
just checking. she had the same picture. and i couldn't read it then either.
so i still don't know if i'm a real man or not :(
you can read it better if you open up the profile...i ran into her earlier - i forgot we had the same icon!
belatedly, thanks for the de clue
no worries sally... te 6/21- te + look beh*** +s
na 5/10 please
(it's plural of te 5/12)
Two of one of the brothers on Six Feet Under = na 5/10
i can't read it in your icon. it's either too small or i'm too blind, which doesn't bode well for my manhood
hehe - I believe it says "Think you're a real man? Take the real man test"
thanks. it didn't take it singulair so i didn't try the pleural. tricky
hm...i guess i'll never know.
or 6/18 please
Catty, tx. I can't believe I didn't try the plural.
yvw sally ;)
no blood? how come?
or 6/18 - richly decorated
because i don't know what the test is.
two or6/18: either 'intricate' or 'talks to a crowd'.
thanks el payo
Oh! Today is national prostate awareness day - that would be a prostate exam we're speaking of.
lol!!
lol!!
hahahaha!
thanx catty - didn't spot the 'speaker' one
oops!
lol
no worries El Payo.
I keep thinking I can see witness but it is my eyes deceiving me
please a clue for se 5/10. i know i should be able to see it, probably something simple

(btw Blood that was my teacher voice you got for a moment there- sorry about that!!) ;)
Hi Babblers. I don't get the ta5 clue--the whoo-haw thing..Maybe I already have that ta5, but I am too dense to get the clue.

hi scrab
The nether regions

it's not really a whoo haw, it's not the front nor the back . . .
The ta5 to sully, like a ta5ed reputation ..
hi Angela, TnC, Scrabbler, torg... and anyone else who arrived while I was off looking for Firefox extensions and new Distributed Computing projects
hee hee! To be fair, not sure how many badgers there are in Glasgow either- certainly no monkeys though :'(

I love it actually blood. I would have answered differently last year, I was in a REALLY rough school so it was really demoralising. I get a lot out of my job and have real fun. It's hard work but I would recommend it! What do you do (apart from delivering eggs)?
{{{{nut}}}}
hello again...been concentrating so hard but I cannot get these last few...could someone assist please?... ta5/12 to start with please.
Evening Mo
((((((OWL)))))))))
hi ren.

are we singing big eighties songs? LOVE that sound
ta5/12 to stunt growth is to re* * * * growth, + a vowel at the end of the word
ta 5/12 that is...
well, delivering eggs is really a full time job. you'd think that just because i only "work" one day out of the year, i'd have a lot of leisure time. but the eggs don't make themselves...and it's a lot of eggs.
hey TO!!!!
Hello Mo!!!
thank you metal.
hello Angela
but i'm thinking about changing careers and one of the things i'm looking into is english language programs in arabic speaking countries.

You're right, Angela, but I imagined a pirate first. It is true Nut.
i think it would be. i just need to find out what the requirements are. i'm a poli. sci. major so i have literally no training in teaching anything...let alone english.
tyvm Scrabbler, mo
Fireworks!
If you think people misjudge the hours you work in your current job, don't expect that to change when you go in to teaching though!!
I did not have that one Mo, cheers
arrrrrrrrrgh, had it only been pink!
yw

Well done Metal

hi eveyone
hi bil.
I bet it will blood. There are loads of great tefl courses in the uk, so I'm sure there are elsewhere as well. Class sizes for tefl would prob be smaller, though I dunno how it works over there. If you're up for working hard, there's no better fun than teaching a good lesson and getting positive feedback.
Hi Ya Biltong

the kids had another late start to the day, then I babbled until I finished, then I did the piles of dishes from Sunday and Monday, then I spent time with my folks before picking up the kids early from school. hiya jili, stid, harp
where do I go to find out what the daily icon should be?
microwave, stid, and *blush* butter
we're getting downright cold here in Montana, how are you canadian's doing?
LOL
Arlene, angelsong has a calendar, or if you put Babbler in your list of friends, she always has today's and the next week's list available in her profile
arlene, there's a link in angelsong's babble page at the bottom.
It has been in the 60's here, but will be high of 28 on Thursday...sigh.
my part of canada is actually warm.... it's only about 7C.
arlene -- go to Who's Online, and Babbler. She lists them all. Then put her in My Friends and you can check any old time.
there is a place for butter, Jill -- aren't lima beans and "butter beans" the same thing?
hi all, where arlene?

oh yes, saw that flosey -- I saved a few for today and finished earlier
kit -- many of us are using "Lickety's List" link at bottom of page. Open it in a new window or tab so you can go between here and there easily.

jili - reminds me of a story from childhood - in the second grade everyone had to bring a bar of soap to school - for the sole purpose of putting it in you mouth while standing in front of the class if the teacher thought you were talking too much - we always used ivory, i only had to do it once, but now i wonder if i would have been a much bigger talker if it tasted like scotch! yeah - in case you were wondering, it WAS a catholic school, lol
*se
Hi Jilli & Stid!
hi relarion, stidmatt

arlene -- you can also go to Lickety's page and on the right had side find Icon Themes
I have to tell you - hubby prepared supper, has table set in front of the fireplace, candles everywhere

I know, flo -- funny too, and brainy....
you're missing a wi
in the 4th grade, for some bizarre reason, all the girls would erase all during class & then keep our eraser shaving in these tubular pencil sharpeners everyone had - productive, no?
okay, back. wi x8
kids just do strange things, that's all there is to it.
Can I have a clue for SO 5/10, please?
shoot, I was afraid of that, stid!
you said it nat!
stidmatt had his internet restriction partially lifted -- so he could do homework. Babble does not qualify! LOL
there are two wi 5/20..., two 5/18
stidmama, you are sooooooooo mean! LOL
ah -- missing a 5/20 --- have the ones that blow
yep. that's me -- the BAD MAMA! as stidmatt declared when he was about 18 months... *sigh*
wi's -- breeze & pl, has a victory, wi + lie in the sun, misseplling of pale colour and its past tense (!) and pl of the colour, brains
Jilibus, can you give me a clue for so 5/10
change one of the 5/18s
let's see.. did that work?
arlene! you have a figger!
i just ate 1/2 a container of ben & jerry's neopolitan dynamite - 1/2 cherry garcia & 1/2 chocolate fudge brownie
helen, that sounds -- indulgent. And very very yummy!
thanks, everyone -- found it
how many more, nan?
so 5/10 -- pl of so44 before it -- née ( arrived on earth) with diff 1st letter
4 t's left -- ouch
yummy!
it worked ..it worked
YAY done!!!
Good for you, arlene!
YAY shorty!
ms silver... plural on of the so 4's
YAY arlene
the Ts were hard for me too -- except the last which turned out to be a plural.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*FIREWORKS~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Wooooo Hooooo (((((SHORTY)))))
ty stid
wtg arleen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm having a hard time with the or's....
{{{{{{{FAERIE}}}}}}}}

hi Faerie!
YAY shorty!!!
what do you need, Natasha?
Thank you guys
wtg shorty..
Hiya Shorty just passing by and saw that you finished. I have company right now so I'll have to finish up a little bit later on :)
or 6's and the 7...
Hiya Stid :)
past tense the or 5/10
better go and get that supper over with -- lots ofcluers here -- back asap
i have the one that happens to priests
ty Oh ok if you need help just let us know
gotta run later everyone.
then "plural" the or 5/10
and "plural" the one that happens to priests
BYE FAERIE (((((HUGS)))))
lol, I need the 5/10 too!
will do thanks :-P
and the last or 8 is "very highly decorated, ornamented"
missing a t 4 from the bottom t --- anything weird there?
the 5/10 is to speak. o + ra 4
ok, I deserve a fish for each of those! thanks, by the way.
the te 5/12 is a babblet that is weird...
yw Natasha
there is also a te 5/20 that is a past tense of the te 4/8 that comes after.
it's a te 4, stidmama -- what are the total points for this grid?
1553
1553
plural edwards, nan?
* t 4 -- not necessarily a te
have that
and the ta 4/5
then either "quiz/exam" or "plural" the last te you have?
it's a t 4/4
hi all!
nan, do you have to**, to**, to**?
btw, I think butter beans are the yellow ones like the green ones. Limas are different
nan: "sits in sunshine to get dark"
also ti 4/4 what the british call cans
that's it, stid --- must have overlooked it, because I thought I had it! thank you.
nan.... a horse tr**
hi Fran!
has anyone ever cooked with fava beans? I need some ideas
YAY nan!
hi stid!
fireworks --- thanks, everyone, for all the help that allowed me to finish listless. :)
harp, i hear they're good with a nice chianti
wtg nan
I LOVE fava beans! what sort of ideas do you need (and do you know that a few people of mediterranean heritage find them toxic?)
beans, beans the musical treat.....
awww, fran you beat me to it!
yay nan!!!!
lol natasha! i thought i might have had the quote from silence of the lambs wrong
excuse my while I go for a glass of pinot gris -- then I will clue for a while.
hiya fran !
wtg nan!
nan, does that mean you didn't look at lickety's list or are you just tired?
hi helen!!!
whoo hoo Nan!
Hi Fran, Hi HK, Hi Stid, Hi Natasha!
hi lbd!!
hi lb
brb, phone
Arlene! you have an icon!
hi lbd!
loved the new chapter Stid
thanks. I didn't write one today. Not sure why, just managed to wander through my day without.
fran -- means I didn't use anyone's list
HI lbd....
hee, i know nan, i was joking...you know listless, droopy, tired. :-)
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the weatherman just announced that we shouldn't expect a thaw anytime soon :(
we're actually getting cooler weather here too, they're predicting low 60s overnight this week.
oh Fran, break out the parkas!
colder at higher elevations.
yes, nan, I heard that earlier. WAY colder tonight than it has been, and perhaps even more snow on top of the ice...
i already broke out my down parka. it got up to a blistering 10 degrees today! it was 4 when i got back in my jeep tonight.
I could easily take that kind of cool at this point, Fran -- I wasn't ready for such an early winter!
i'm going to have to stid! (maybe a sweater)
*has no sumpathy for Fran, sitting here with pellet stove on, freezing my @$$ off*
stid, i saw the snow on the field during the mariners v. packers game i think it was
lol daisy -- I agree!
I have on long johns under my clothes, two shirts, a heavy sweater, a blanket, my laptop (like a portable personal heater) and a dog on my feet...
yes, that's the game! *and WE won!*
in 5,10 ??
sounds toasty Stid!
sorry, wasn't looking for sympathy, just pointing out that it's cooler everywhere right now..
in 5/10, the first one is to put something "in" something else, like woodwork or jewelry
thx
the second is short for in*****tion, to make an acquaintance
there are two: one is a p.i.p. the other is a prefix for "beginning"
Fran, i imagine that 60 there can be rather chilly especially with all that water around you.
*that means beginning"
bb after boston legal
*grinning at Fran* but for you, 60 IS cold! I remember what it was like in Puerto Rico... *offers a warm cup of tea and a couple cookies*
later helen!
lbd, it's only chilly for me because i grew up in Guam (90+ weather all year and never goes below 70 at night)
enjoy HK
this canuck is going to leave before the rest figure out it's going to be 14+ C tomorrow and thursday.... have a good night all
never mind the warm tea --- this deep freeze calls for a hot toddy!
*gladly accepts cookies and tea from stid*
night Arlene! stay cool! lol
night arlene!
later arlene... enjoy the balmy weather (it'll be hard on the plants when it changes though)
hot toddy, hot tub, thermal undies, flannel sheets...
hmm, brb everyone, arlene had the tap handle i had picked out, going to look for another one.
anyone want a clue before I go and watch jeaopardy?
ra 6,21
so close to the end!!!
RA 6/21, past tense of spoke angrily
ra 6/21 -- past tense of the ra 4/4 before it
go jafro go!
back at the flip -- bye for now :)
later nan!
night nan
daisy -- is it really cold down there?
not "really" as factually, but "really" as intensely
se 7,28
it must be stid, she's frozen and can't respond
LOL lbd!
se 7: "a poem of six six-line stanzas and a three-line envoy"; se + consonant + singer **** turner
ah! never would have figured that one out...thanks again!
it's really quiet now... *shhhh --- do not disturb!*
it's one of the weirder ones today Jafro
i know, everything is in one little quadrant on the board
people must be having lives or something Stid...how dare they?
it's not freezing here in TX yet, but i'm sure frozen on this game...
where in tx are you Jafro
what part of TX, jafro?
LOL lbd!
central TX, the armpit of the state :)
so while we're waiting, what would you like to see in the next installment, lbd?
hmmm, i'm curious about Sebastion, but i also wonder about Nan.
oh -- one winter my family was driving across the country to come home to Washington. The snow in texas, that long, flat stretch of freeway was amazing, and there were nothing but country radio stations.
what do you wonder about nan, lbd? i miss getting the instant feedback of telling the story in the log
wait...you mean there's other kinds of music?!?!?
Just if she's going to get better and how her life is going to turn out.
lol Jafro!
*giggle* apparently so, jafro!
okay lbd, and what about Sebastian?
what will his next adventure be, and how will he get off that island and what is he learning from these experiences.
okay, thanks. I'll see what inspires me tomorrow! :-)
i'm not a country western fan, i can listen to alabama, eagles, and a few others for about one song each. driving through cw country would drive me over the edge!
i also love the stories about Adam and Ava courting, and Paul and Gwylly. all your characters are wonderful. Esmeralda is also a mystery.
Thanks lbd. *blush* my favorite parts are the ones that almost stand alone -- that explain something about a particular character or relationship.
lbd, that's about all the "county" i can really take, too...but my mom is stuck on Toby Keith
I think that's what makes your story so special. each character can stand alone and you wonder about him or her and what will happen next.
country, sorry
*wondering who toby keith is*
I try to be open minded about music, but i really cringe at "the tears in my ears lying on my back crying over you." songs
you're better off not knowing, stid
lol Jafro! aren't we glad there are cd's and tape players in cars now!
my Tom won't listen to country -- ever. Not sure why. But I like some, generally the older stuff that is more like the bluegrass and folk music I enjoy
welp, gotta go put the ol' body to bed. nighters everyone. see you tomorrow.
night lbd!
night lbd! see you tomorrow!
jafro -- did you finish?
still have 5 more! ARGH!
24 left an im getting stuck
i feel i may be addicted lol
hi babble_she "might?" *grin*
aww wish i`d called myself babble she now
what do you need, jafro?
oh! LOL sorry -- I misread your name!
icon test
lol stid, im just a mere bubble
well, i'm still short two of the de's -- 6,21 and 7,32
um -- appropriate to Hawaii, I think Fran!
i can't tell what it is in the small icon though
jafro: to "hold back" like police do to suspects?
theme is "taps"?
tap handles stid.
aw, geez (ramming head against wall....)
3 more now!
okay, I'll see if I can find something.
jafro, owie!
ouch
figuratively, not literally :)

i have to be up for uni in 4 hours :O

plural the previous 5/12, jafro
oh yes, I met Mav this morning (my time)
we were triplets then, metaleather had the same one too!
hmmmm...got that one, it's a 5/21

no te 6/18
yes maverick did but we are now quiet drunk an hes helping
whoops, sorry, i got lost in my own letters
do you want the 5/20?
cheating really but im a n00b so its ok ;)
oh -- drunk and babble don't work so well.
i think i need sleep :)
but i've got to get the last 2 now...i figured out the te6/21, thanks
i no its doesnt work so well but is much more fun hehe
just need an st6/18 and wi 5/18
st 6/18: the very last is anagram of the one like the st****of juan de fuca between the Olympic Peninsula and Vancouver Island
wi 5/18 you are missing is an old English, maybe Saxon?, word meaning "high council: wi + what you get from sitting in the sun
i've got the two angrams on the st's...can't figure the spare
that's the only one I've got left now!
do you have the one that ends in the letter after M?
like what you do with peas and bananas so a baby can eat them...
go jafro go!
im getting help an i still have 16 left lol
or s + choo choo, jafro...
got it! now i've just got to get the hubby to let me go Pro so I can get fireworks!!
anything I can help with, bubble?
YAY Jafro! before the high tech fireworks, we did: ~*~*~*~*~*~~*FIREWORKS*~*~*~*~*~ *~*~
hey stid, I had to go. just saw your note about fava beans. The only recipies I've found are for hummus-type stuff? what do you do with them?
jafro - were fine. 14 left!!!
thank you :)
what time is it where everyone is...its 4.16am here
no prob, best of luck to y'all!
10pm here
trads
we used to steam or boil them and then use them like peas. the website "All About Fava Beans" says: Add fresh fava beans to risottos, spring vegetable stews and ragouts and soups. They are great with their springtime partner - artichokes. A favorite traditional Italian appetizer is peeled cooked fava beans sprinkled with olive oil and salt along with salami, prosciutto and slices of Parmesan or pecorino cheese. Simply wonderful!
thanks, I'll check out the website!
i hear they're great with a census taker's liver and a nice chianti :)
I used to put a tomato sauce over them. They were tender and fresh and very "meaty" not dry and mealy like lima beans, and not too bitter
jafro, that's silly. Poor census taker!
okay, I am taking an eyeball break. hope to see you-all again later or tomorrow!
well, since I've got nothing left to offer tonight but a few odd movie quotes, I think i'm off to bed. Have a great night, all!
night jafro!
bye stid!
nite tx x
and hi again just in time to say bye stid!
frozen baby lima beans done in the microwave are not dry and nasty -- I just enjoyed some!

no hk, not yet
hi -- helen -- interesting map -- wonder why the distribution is like that!
i love house! enjoy hk!
hi everyone -- just got back from supper etc
polar bears drowning (for lack of ice) was especially sad to me
I'm sick of House!
fran - love your tap handle!
japan is reddish too, makes it seem like technology causes prostate cancer
thanks jilli!
you don't like house jilli?
jili - i bet it has at least something to do with meat-eating
hi all!! Hope your night is going well!
i'll be back later, have to help make dinner
technology, bad eating habits, co2 emissoins - as the planet spins brightly into the new millenium :)
it involves cutting up vegetables and if i let my husband do it everything comes out chunky and uneven.
hi voll
and not very appetizing.
okay fran - uh, you're not like a total control freak, where the vegetable have to be in perfect little cubes are you?
HI happy midnight all
HI happy midnight all
well- you gotta save your family from the unappetizing part !!!! see ya later
hi hodag!
bb at the flip, bye :)
I was thinking red meat also...
hi helen
I liked House at first but it's too formulaic and I preferred the star as the twit with Jeeves
Red meat? The beefeater Brits aren't as red athe North Americans
hodag, it's only 9:11 here
any V mars fans out there
hi all
hello chj
very quiet just now
yeah, I am off to bed, fading too fast to find the last 46
hey jilli
good night, nat
actually, the countries that show up red on the map are also some of the longest-lived countries... young men don't often get prostate cancer and it's usually slow growing even with older men.
sorry I missed you Nat!
I haven't been chatting much, it's ok stid, I was on earlier, and then was busy helping my roomie scrapbook, and just jumped back on a bit ago
Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone?
