Tramadol and SSRIs are not good friends and i am so glad that Sprite your doctor has thought of this and i hope that he/she will find you a pain cure soon
yes, it is indeed a problem, my doctor and therapist agree on that. Their thought it that when the antidep kicks in, it will have an effect on the pain as well and they want to see if that works indeed.

no, pain is a killer, for sure. Worst part of it is it eats away all your energy. I never used to be a depressed person, even though things were rotten most of the time. But somehow I am out of energy and I cannot keep it up anymore.

I have taken almost 30 different anti-depressants and mood stabilizers
rmcc: we tried ibuprofen earlier. I had to take lots of it and it is very bad for the stomach, so we switched to tramadol and paracetamol. It's all trial and error, sigh.
nothing really works; in fact, many studies show the plecebo effect is as good as the meds in about 50% of the cases
ah, yes. the old fashioned way of saying haemorroids. sitting on a couple now. thanx BR. what pretty sparkling things fireworks are.
BabbleRabble: yes, I really hope there is, my doctor says the same. The thing is, one has to try what works and give it some time to set in... with the new antidep and now the blood pressure med and other painkillers I have to be patient for a couple of weeks to see what we get from it.

Did you know that even if you are a security gaurd for many years with a clean record you need to submit 3 references, doctors certs to say you arent crazy and then give the licence board about $350 for 3 years licence. So i quit.

well, the echo cardiagram was OK, but now I am on blood thinner and have to get tested every two weeks. Dosage was way high, now I had to skip two days and take half dose till next test.
Inge--I saw a family a few days ago in the office. Mom is from Germany and is teaching the kids German--boy is 4 and girl 3. I was speaking German with them and their language is beautiful to hear---so perfect
