still no luck - i'm tired, but have a minor hospital procedure tom's to which my daughter is driving me.
hope it goes well melon :)
hope it goes
meannt to say, hope it goes well too!!
tx, mrp. my kids are stepping in - the 21-year ol is driving, my 16 year old boy is making me chicken soup for when i get home. they are such good kids - my Wild On & my Wild One.
I have to ask lickety to post my xray for ya all
Wild One & Mild One.
hehehehe! i like that!
i got a set of those too lol
tx MVA - breast biopsy - last year was left, this is right - how freakin symmetrical! tiny tiny spot on mammo, but with my family history.
tho the wild one is only 11 and the mild is 14 lol
better safe, melon
luckily, the Wild One came 1st, if she had followed Mr Mild, I don't think I would have known what hit me. I think her 1st words were "don't tell me what to do!" a few years and a few miles, and we get along famousely now.
indeed, MVA, i take tamoxifen, too.
whereas my wild is very tender underneath
I went to the giant word list and still don't see the vi 7/8 {sound of hair tearing out}
i had a mild one first... my wild one set me straight ... straight back to celi bacy
I have the 4,8 & the 4,11 on either side - what is my problem???!!!!
lol!
ow, hurt myself laughing mrp!
lol melon
i was of the god cant guarantee me a girl and i sure dont need another boy so im not trying ever again lol
lol melon!
I am with you on that trip kiwi
I had a son first as well and he was a wild one, I figured god would not punish me twice and he didnt I got a girl the second time and she is as sweet as can be (well she wasnt that sweet when she was 13ish) lol
back from the giant list of 8-letter words - somehow that list is a hoot to skim - i saw plunkiest and viewiest, among others.
gotta strtaighten up - i hate coming home to a mass. . . may check in later.
48 words to go and I am totally stuck I think lol
did you find the vi8?

And good morning/evening all.
Hello Haz
g'day all
hi haz!
hi Haz
I am proud of myself on that one I only had to ask for a few clues
Hello there - a bargain basement of late alphabet letters this morning.
yes, this grid for sure will make you go huh? that cannot be pluralized, lol
mel a clue for the me6/18 please
*sorry te6/18*
you mean ne?
te 6/18 a little canvas shelter ?
root word above +2 vowels
hi rmcc, sorry i missed your entrance..how are you?
doing great, thanx pink. yourself?
Lickety sent me the download for the babble expert sure makes the grids go faster not having to double enter stuff
Hi RMC
hey herin. wind cold enough down there?
im well rmcc, its another beautiful morning in London !!!
don't have to rub it in, pink. it's freezing here.
where abouts in london you from pink?
one day, so my MM says, we are coming over*sigh*
you can get me back when aussie has its summer, and its bitterly cold here lol !!
clue pls, wi6?
I am hoping the boy has time off i have fingers and toys crossed
* wi6/36*
Im in East London Alex, Hackney to be precise, where do you live?
toys? herin
toys....?????
toys its what happens when your fingers are to cold to reach the E button. Toes people toes
I'm staying in West London, Hillingdon/Uxbridge, but live in North Wales, near Snowdonia/Llangollen
i've heard of Hillingdon/Uxbridge never been though!!
have you ever been to Wales?
wi 6/36 sounds like Eli the inventors last name
no i haven't Alex!
Any clues on the second se 6/18 and ti 6/21 ?
:), I've never been to Hackney, is it nice there?
meliae ???? who's eli?
SE 6/16 se+a tiny little bug (louse)+3rd vowel
he invented the cotton gin
its ok, like all areas of London it has its problems. its very vibrant though!!
ty Meliae
there is also a singer with the same first name and her last name is houston
I forget people are from all over the world and might not know american inventors =)
thax meliae, got them both
I dont like it here in London, I miss Wales a lot
i know someone clued it as cadet, that's right, mrp did, but it didn't help me. clue pls vi7/44?
RMC cold enough up there for you
its very fast moving in London
not surprised Alex! what are you doing down here?
herin, the wind is like a knife, goes right thru you
I have heating on 25 and im also wearing a house shawl
staying with girlfriend, looking for a job. She prefers shops to sheep
Fireworks -- those v's were rough
there are shops in wales! a few ...
yay ARB, well done, congrats!!!!
hopefully I'll convince her its nicer to be in the countryside than in the city
i know, i know. i've got woolly socks, sheepskin slippers, really thick trackies, singlet, skivvy and thick jumper. and i usually feel the heat
where i live in Wales you have to drive quite a long way to reach a shop
arb, WTG!!! now pls be nice and share????
The boy is late back so heres to hoping i actually get this holiday
clue pls, vi7/44?
wow you really are wrapped up rmcc... what is a skivvy and singlet?
vi7- looks like a French version of a little thing to be viewed on TV.
pik, singlet = undervest, skivvy, a long sleeved t-shirt, usually has a roll neck collar
*pink* lol, thanks rmcc!
sorry pink, this dratted nnnn key doesn't always work
yay Arb yes this was a little toughie
nope, haz, you've lost me!
Okay, it's vi, the cancer stick ending (for the end of cigar), join the two with a consonant.
thanx haz. went for a walk and all of a sudden it made sense. fireworks!!!
Congratulations!
bbl. dinner ready.
Enjoy - I'm going to take a quick break, back later.
16 left, bye bye all bbl!!!
wow! everyone vanishing!
my phantom today - identity
mine is catten. everyone knows a catten is a cat growing between a kitten and a cat!
is it me or is this one a bit tricky??
tricksy
as long as it's not just me!!
oh no
are there really 7 x j & 15 x v - it doesn't seem possible
it seems unlikely, doesn't it
had a rush of blood to the head and found 5 of the j's
got 9 of the v's. the others seem even more unlikely!
there's a j7/48
i've got 8 v's so far
and the j7
there's a vi7/44 too
yep - got that one too
ooo and a ji7/56 I've just found
ok - you got me there!
like the wi6/7 if you've got those
I mean wi7/36 - 8.52
no - not yet
wi6 is a town near oxford
good clue ata - finished the j's now
:):)
do you think it's just me and you playing???
I think so!
think everyone else is disgusted with the grid
sort of can't blame them
agreed
I keep wanting sashay
me too!
Hi. i'm here too. for some reason lickety add is not adding chat but trying to put it in word list!
hi frances!
hi frances
Hello Ata. How did your op go?
welcome to the grid from hell :)
I could be brave and say its fine, but really it *hurts*! But everything went well, and I'm getting better quickly
morning babblers!
what did you have done ata - if you don't mind me asking?
hi nono!
At least it is where you can't reach it easily.
hi nono
oh, just had a lump removed from between my shoulder blades. nothing drastic, but just in an annoying place where it hurts every time I try and move!
Good morning! <chat log looks like the Chris and Atatante show, nice to start the morning with>
Chris I agree about the grid from hell bit!
how annoying ata - looks like we're starting a party now!
recovered from THE DRESS yet, JB?
Oh, that was THE, um, MOST, oh, I still don't have words to describe!
lol I know! every now and then it just boggles me still
chris and frances - did you watch "Britain's Youngest Brides" last night?
Imagine the conversations later: "Honey, does this dress make me look fat?"
"look like the actual wedding cake?"
"does my bum look big in this?"
no - don't know that programme
Chris, are YOU in for a treat!
http://tinyurl.com/2b8vku <- watch THAT
Ata I say the clip and just hooted when they had to roll her into the car. Didn't anyone dare tell her what she looked like?
You won't even need coffee, Chris!
I almost cried with laughter at that point. So undignified! and so unlike anything I'm sure she wanted to portray!
Reminded me of one of those naff toilet roll covers.
I know, I know - the groom didn't want bride's mother there, so they hatched a plan to hide her (and several other family members) under the dress!
yes! a 20 stone one
But wait its that scary its 44 foot wide too
Thanks frances that made me laugh too
Thank goodness she didn't want a train as well!
It was scary
a train! yikes! can you *imagine*
I think Chris has fainted
just been to watch the video - oh my god!! her rolling round on the floor of the limo was hilarious!! do you think it was a fancy dress party - i've never seen anyone waddle up the aisle before!
She'd need the wheels and rails.
My boy just went OH MY dear followed by that is scary
Have you watched the second part of the video, available from heatworld.com? It shows the preparations....
but it looked so unromantic, as well
Really, tho
Enough to put you off weddings completely.
there's a 2nd bit??!
(oops, starting over) Really, tho' she didn't have a train, she sure had the caboose!
omg! I just here and followed the link. bride looked so not happy with it all
Just going to look.
apologies if i offend anyone - but it looked so chavvy
There is a part 2
Atalante, I looked at heatworld.com this morning just to make sure it hadn't all be a dream/nightmare. They've included the prequel with her getting ready. The plasterer/make up artist at work etc.
There horror is there is kids wearing (slut) clothes
oh my. *finds link*
hello there!!
not to mention the kids climbing over church pews during the service
To give them their due, the travellers here don't wear clothes like that all the time. However, they do like to show as much flesh as possible (even in winter) and their daughters are always adorned with multiple hair-ribbons, bobbles etc. And there are always baby buggies, multiple buggies.
what is that poor kid wearing??!!
Not enough
for some reason the video cut out half way through, so didn't see the child
Must remember to show five year old on her return from sweden as an example of what not to wear.
We had a local programme here about the preparations among the travelling community for the children's first communion. When I say fake tans and stretch limos are not confined to weddings, you'll know what I mean.
she's near the start, chris, at 25 secs
yeah - just went back for another look
weddings, christenings, funerals, anything ...?
Anything. The hen parties are also legendary.
Think about it. If they wear those clothes to a church, what will they think suitable for a nightclub?
just watched the clips...... looks like a wedding for circus freaks
She was wearing trainers. Guess she would have toppled over in heels!
do they go to nightclubs or just party in the trailers?
She should have had roller skates, then she could have been pushed up the aisle and looked serene.
the trainers were probably the most sensible thing she was wearing!
lmao yes
Stretch limos get them there (to the nightclubs) I'm not sure how they get back again.
I loved the pint of beer on the dressing table too
and - um - where exactly do they get all the money necessary for this from?
They exchange their taste for cash.
obviously!!
well saucers of milk all round, i think
LOL Chris
Chris - we're being social commentators!
don't get me wrong - i love a good bitching session!!
after THE DRESS, what does she deserve!
ME ow!
apparently there is a new toy coming out - pole dancing for kids
Nooooooooo!!
EW ww!
It's already been banned from Tescos after protests.
They tried to sell that here infernal but had to take it off the shelves on taste grounds.
good!
I didnt know that it was aimed at kids
Pole dancing for kids kind of gives the hint, though?
and any parent that bought one for their kid needs a slap upside the head
you are fabulous, haz
I am?
and a kick in the seat of the pants
Absolutely, Haz!
fireworks! bye bye all!
for that comment, oh yes!
Bye, pink!
Congratulations pink!
Bye pink. Well done.
I heard it this am about pole dancing for kids. I didnt realise that this product was aimed at kids
ty haz, Jbs and Frances have fun!! *poof*
congrats Pink
lol, we're still talking about that video?
Did you think it was perhaps for those entering their second childhood?
there's a second vid feather!
Not for goats - you couldn't think it was for baby goats? I know they're nimble, but....
http://tinyurl.com/2kdqre
There's a lot to consider, feather!
We just booked a 3 night holiday. I didnt realise that Tesco Marketers would be that sick to aim what looks like an adult product on the products web page at children
*collapses*
It puts the lonely goatherd in a whole different light.
*gives a helping hand to Ata*
Oh, EEEEWWWWWW, Haz!! LOL!
That yodelling bit would suit the fast spins.
no wonder the goats ran away
does it stop halfway through?
Oh, look at the time, only have a few more minutes *dives into the grid*
yes for some reason *sigh*
It cut out half way through for me too.
The censor probably felt it best.
Feather should you be watching that video? You may laugh your self into labour
not awake enough to laugh yet sadly
and if i could laugh myself into labor, bring it on!
todays officially the day isn't it feather/
Had to have a look at what you were talking about!! Was she disabled or was it the dress/trainers making her walk so badly?? Felt the bridegroom was a bit of anh extra she could have done without!!
Deeha, the dress weighed over 200 pounds.
according to me, yes, according to the midwife, tomorrow
Also, she had to be careful to avoid walking on the rest of the wedding guests who were hiding under the dress.
I wonder if she'll ever realise how much amusement she provided around the globe
Hi all, I was not able to watch the stupid video. Whaaat? the dress weighed over 200 pounds!!!! whatever for?
Deeha did you see her being rolled into the car?
They were the ones trying to avoid police detection.
LMAO haz!
19pounds 40foot wide
remember the good old days when we dyed our wedding dresses and wore them to the next firms dance?? Wonder if she will - seems a shame to waste it!!!
Just realised they were keeping their stock of pegs they sell door to door under there.
Aloha Babblers!
LMAO frnaces!
Hello Fran!
hi Fran
HI Fran
Yes Frances -havent got my jaw off the floor yet!!
Hi Fran
hi haz, nono, peri, frances, deeha, infernal, heather, ata!
hey fran!
can't sleep again heather?
my wedding dress had a dark green bodice and a cream skirt. so I asked the wedding dress maker to make me a green skirt to go with it so I can wear it as a ball dress from now on. Aren't I clever??!!
it's almost 7am here. daniel woke up at 6
oh, i'm the one that's up too late!
yes you are, lol! was goign to ask what time it was for you
Fran, there's video part 2
You are indeed, Atalante.
almost 1am
oh no, really?
You would all be very proud of me. +The thing that I was dreading since I have been on my own happened. The was a LARGE spider!! But I was really cool - I got the vacuum and hoovered him up and I didnt even scream!!!
okay, give me the link
YAY DEEHA!
http://tinyurl.com/2kdqre
Well done Deeha!
yay deeha!
Yah Dee
ok, I need to hobble round the garden with hobbit. back soon
Deeha what happens when it creeps out of the vacuum?
brb
Along came a spider, and she sucked it right up!
You hobble with Hobbit, I'll spring round with Spangle. Back later.
brb too
DONT EVEN GO THERE Frances
Deeha, I used to do the same with roaches in Florida, then I would just change the vacuum bag right then
And, just on the subject of spiders, I treasure the memory of my older daughter, aged 3, reciting Little Miss Muffet - but with attitude. 'There came a big SPIDER, who sat down BESIDE her, and frightened Mis Muffet AWAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!'
I always find a glass and a piece of card does the trick. Put the glass over the spider. Slide the card underneath and empty iot out of the window.
I am hoping they suffocate in all the dust in there! So much for protesting wildlife!!
Bye!
I can do that with any other creepy crawly-even wasps- but spiders...............
was the video supposed to end as they are putting the hoops over her head?
playing with daniel, brb
Don't think so Fran. It seems to cut out half way through.
okay, that's what mine did too frances
i can't wait to see the reception.
Do you think it ended in a fight?
i'd be surprised if it didn't!
good morning all

She's fine! We're back after a walk so she's still in panting mode.
And the husband has arrived looking for food.
Is he panting too?
Not quite, but is making impatient noises. The kettle has been switched on.
So I'd better supervise things. Back soon, hopefully.

*think
and thats from a spiral fracture that goes around and down
ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
did they have to put a pin in it Lickety?
the poor girl....perseverance...my prayers go out to her..
it really helps to think about what mrp is going through
is the pain manageable?
oh Lickety, how awful,
no - they think it can heal on it's own
ahh! that is scary and painful
she's doing well - I have to wake her at 2am to give her more tablets though
hope they are right!
is this something that will take 6 weeks to heal?
it gives me the chills thinking about it
just so she follows orders and doesnt try to do too much too soon
6 weeks for the bones to become sticky, then more time to heal, then the muscles need to be trained again
she's going to go a bit insane
oh poor dear, a much longer time, must be awkward sleeping
she can't brush her hair, let alone wash herself.
Sounds like it will take months but will be worth the trial and effort when her arm is well.....patience is the name of the game
Lickety, my best to MrPres and to you too.
Anyways - I don't want to dull this Fabulous grid - I'm back to DVD's

question of some interest - this is supposed to be ENGLISH words right, but there are some SPANISH words in this and other puzzles - why must he toy with our emotions like this.
because foreign words can be adopted into the english language
enable is a very multilangual dictionary
there are amny french words too not on this grid though
but i think alot of our word origins are french and spanish
spanish, french, irish, scots, even dutch!
Enable has strange criteria for what is included in the word database
and japanese too
I believe the japanese slipper is in today's grid
some of these words must be made up :)
i know if we were playinga scrabble i would challenge a few
oh yes, and be proven wrong... terrible!
It's time for me to get some work done. Any last clues from me?

Still procrastinating.

Hope that makes sense.
if you have ji4/12 flask, add the letter that makes it an adjective
ji4/12 + sometimes vowel

yw
Going to hide out here a bit, then tackle stuff.
okay jellen, see you later!
How far along are you, Fran?
lol, i have 61 words! haven't looked at the list yet though
Ah...stayed out late last night?
we took my sister and her family out to dinner, came home pretty late
It takes an evil daughter to introduce a word-freak mother to this game 8-)
Yes, it does, Erilar.
no kidding erilar!
back, had a phone call
there you are. :-)
welcome to the addiction erilar! (i can tell already she's one of us guys!)
how are things with percy coming along?
they're not. hmph.
any bets on how long till erilar goes pro?
within the week for sure.
lol
If you have any questions, Erilar, don't hesitate to ask.
definitely before she loses her stats.
Fran and feather have all the answers :^)
ha jellen! wish i had the answer on when this baby was ready
Sometime soon, I would imagine.
heather, you switched them around, daniel was quick so percy is going to take his time
daniel was forced out, so who knows when he'd have gone if it was up to him! he was induced for low fluid levels
oh, well that makes a difference
i'm just bummed, as this is my primary midwife's last day before her vacay.
oh no!
yeah
Oh, that is bad.
OK, how do you avoid going cross-eyed?
daniel wants to paint, brb
ok, later heather
erilar, has someone pointed out lickety's babble clues to you?
when i start getting cross-eyed i go to the list
I'm a Mac addict. My daughter says this poses a problem.
I take quick breaks to chat or snack.
not really erilar, lickety's regular list works fine
it's just not all-in-one like the new version
i use a Mac
So where is it? I didn't ask enough questions before she left.
in the "friends of babble" links
The mac doesn't pose a problem here, just leave the snooty "mac-user" attitude at home ;)
down below the tile stats
Erilar: at the bottom left in the "Friends of Babble" links
there's something called "bulk add" that you can use to transfer your word list with
look for "Lickety's Babble Clues"
watch it abmoraz, i resemble that remark (i.e. the snooty attitude)
:-)
we know
*ducks*
LOL
My cat who brings me things has discovered the downstairs box of Kleenex. lol
cute jellen (unless that means you now have kleenex strewn across the floor)
ok, he's all set up
erilar, still there?
I'm getting tissues--one at a time. Better than other things he's found.
watercolors on the big easel this time, less mess
cool
my cats attack the paper towels. must keep them in the cabinet.
do you like your stand-in midwife?
lol deb, those evil paper towels?
tissues one at a time is very cute. is your nose running?
she's very young, and won't be able to catch the baby unless she's observed 10 births by the time i go. but yeah, she's nice. just like my primary so much!
No, my nose isn't running, but his is.
OK, found the list. Next question: Do I have to type in my words all over again or just open it as a separate window and juggle? I opened it in another tab, but that doesn't work too well 8-)
she'll be able to be there for me, just not do the actual last minute catching
gotta juggle, erilar
erilar, scroll to the bottom and look at the "bulk add" instructions
I use a seperate tab myself
i open mine in a new window
or you can open two windows and resize them to be side by side
going to go bounce on my ball. bbl.
later heather!
Ok, thanks featherbee--I was wondering if that was what I'd have to do.
bye, Feather
erilar, if you use Firefox, there's an extension that will allow you to tile your tabs so you can see both at the same time
erilar, did you see "bulk add" near the bottom?
en 6, 24 and 8 clues please.
Note to cat people: dogs can't reach some of the things that are cat-vulnerable 8-)
Dunno about Safari

I said your name Jac!
we were laughing and saying maybe there was a chemical in the air at the salon or something

Been out all day so have 55 words to find now. Good day though and very nice carvery lunch.
I admit it. I'm procrastinating and hiding out from reality here today.
i just hit 100, what's a carvery?
there is this big run in Oregon called to Hood to Coast where runners do a 36 hour relay from Mt. Hood to Seaside, OR. He is running in it in 2 weeks and has slacked a bit on his traning...now is frantically out running all the time (and stinking up the place)
Sounds like meat to me.

yep. supposed to help with positioning.
twive seemed logical at the time i entered it....
may i have a clue for the sa6/24, por favor?
Haven't listened to Babblecast 11 yet, but it's up on my reader.
odessa, i'm slowly losing it
ah awesome, thanks ;-)
A rather non-trivial grid...
11s good, with stid and mrp
and hello odessa!
Psych doctors test you for it, odessa
sounds good to me heather, twive
i might disappear at some point, doug and daniel sound like they're coming in soon
okay
hello fran and everyone
i was just thinking percy probably likes the bouncing around on the ball, he doesn't want to come out
Sounds like a Jabberwocky word
got three left, i'm stumped
trying to knock him on the head enough to annoy him out
Hi, odessa
it does jellen
twas brilling in the (something something) when gyre (?) and gimball in the wave....lol, or something like that. was i close?
hiya jellen!
sa6/24 -- what those of us who babble have lost!
Feather Tread mill
don't have one herin
that's about it mom. :-)
twas brillig and the slithey toves did gire and gimble in the wabe, all mimsey were the borogroves, and the mome raths outgrabe
Did you decide on a middle name, feather?
Or you have an already stubborn one on your hands.
hi hursh!
Hi back and hi arse
nope not yet. nicholas james, nicholas michael, nicholas logan and nicholas rowan are the latest ideas
hmm, what goes with percival?
thank you hurshy!!!!!
If you can have reve5/20, then you must be able to have ve5/20...
my friends named their son rowan (first name)
Hi, hurshy. What a great memory you have!
beware the jabberwock, my son, the jaws that bite and the claws that catch. beware the jubjub bird, and shun the frumious bandersnatch.
she's amazing
i like nicholas james --nice easy flow when you're mad at him in a few years!
clue for the second wi5/18?
*applauds hurshy*
he took his vorpal sword in hand, long time the manxome foe he sought... so rested he by the tum-tum tree, and stood awhile in thought
i do too. that list is sort of my preference order.
wi + coloring from the sun
and as in uffish thought he stood, the jabberwock with eyes of flame, came wiffling through the tulgey wood, and burbled as it came
thanks jellen!
No belly button type?
i think i just need to take the list out
Feather, our son's middle name is Loren, does taht appeal to yu? Nicholas Loren hmmmm
nope candyman
excellente, thanks jellen
ok, is that all from memory now hursh? wow
hi, al... has anyone seen stidmama?
hi inge!
one two, one two, and through and through, the vorpal blade went snicker-snack. he left it dead, and with its head, he went galumphing back
Any family names in the running? I'm fond of family names.
that's a nice one inge!
Guten Abend Babblers all over the worls
nope, don't like the family names much.
"and hast thou slain the jabberwock? come to my arms, by beamish boy! oh frabjous day! calloo, callay!" he chortled in his joy
Guten Abend, inge
Nice one Hurshy.
Of course, he is Christopher Loren, and you gave up the Christophr
oh how funny inge!
twas brilling, and the slithey toves did gire and gimble in the wabe. all mimsey were the borogroves, and the mome raths outgrabe.
I just reallised i said 'hi arse instead of hi back' oh dear still need more coffee
i was wondering about that herin, but decided to ignore it! lol
shows where your mind is herrin
there, and yes, that's from memory, i love nonsense so much i simply had to memorize jabberwocky.
*clap clap clap* standing ovation for hursh!
awesome!!!! take a bow!
inge, how did your husband like his theme day?
maybe she could appear on Babblecast with that, so we can all hear it
*Whistle* Bravo!!
ohhhh good idea
i don't know why it impresses people that i have scads of useless things memorized...
fezzik! are there rocks ahead?
if there are, we'll all be dead
well, you have lots of useful things memorized too, right?
I can't remember my own name sometimes, hurshy!
vizzini...he can...fusss....
i don't know, maybe. ask me something useful.
fuss, fuss... i think he like to scream at us
probably he means no harm
he's very very short on charm
ah, you have a great gift for rhyme
yes, yes, some of the time
(insert earlier rocks line here)
can't think of one useful thing i need to know right now, but nonsense is fun anytime.
no more rhymes now i mean it!
:)
anybody want a peanut?
LOL, i think we're just amusing ourselves here hursh!
and everyone else, don't worry :-D
heya, can anyone clue me for the first se5/10?
at least i know what movie it's from
for anyone who doesn't know, that's from the princess bride movie
odessa, add a vowel to what you did with the mail
fran! *tries a double layer of foil*
se5/10 - French river; net
i still need a lot of Ss though
se5= French river
thanks mom, jellen!
Inge sitting on my butt not doing house work :) Well done Hurshy
i told you heather. :-)
yw Fran
'Twas brillig and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All mimsy were the borogroves
In postwar Germany we had very few school books, so teachers made us learn everything by heart. Even English lessons were recited paragraph by paragraph. I am thankful for the many poems by Schller and Goethe and others I still can recite
And the mome raths outgrabe
phone
Inge, I bow to you - I ain't got Goethe!
*tosses lots of Hershey kisses into the Babble crowd*
hi JBs! thanks!
That would have been very difficult for me. I have ADD. Can memorize short bits, but need prompts.
Hi, JBs. Thanks for the chocolate!
Hey, FranMag! Any more bridezilla vids today?
OHHHHH, got it, thanks fran, jellen, and mom!
mmmm, you're welcome, Jellen!

I remember reciting ' My Country' Dorothea Mackellar in primary school
di9/60?
hello all
hi ardilla!
Hi, ardilla
I once memorized the Gettysburg Address for an English class (Abraham Lincoln, 16th Pres of US). Who is Dorothea Mackellar, herein?
hi ardilla :-)
are you really in korea? that IS the korean flag, i think...
odessa, do you have di7/32?
di9= di + double consonant + indefinite article + three letter plural
sure do
odessa, di + cons. + brown from the sun + plural ending (the kind you use for words ending in Y)
throw the indefinte article in the middle, while humming those di7/32's!
four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. we are met on a great battlefield of that war...something about hallowed... hmmm, gotta revisit that one.
Inge i couldnt image not have books and written word
tks jellen--never woulda got that m'self!

Mr Pres I am good. By the way I am finally going away for 4 days starting next Thursday. We are renting out a fully functioning miners cottage (has everything, kitchen/inside facitlies/gas log fire including a Queen sized bed) and even though the place has high speed wireless net We are NOT taking the computers or mobiles for the 4days
I don't know ing... will go look

Mr Pres its in Daylesford. Heart of the spa country. Gong to just veg. I think books will be taken but going to desperately try to not take any of the pcs. It will be nice just to do nothing. $115 a night and like living in someones house is brilliant as we can have our own cooking if we want with local produce. I am excited as i have never had a holiday with a boyfriend.
Bye liz
I hope i havent scared every one off

Never and im 30 this year. Hurshy google I loved you all along
lol, i guess i should've just googled it myself!
It sounds nice, herin. One of the best vacations we had was a place with no tvs, or phones, except in the main lodge. Read loads of books while lying in a hammock.
cool, i have it too, coming up next in my iTunes.
hursh, you should join our babble group in last.fm
inge, don't see any other videos, but I know that lickety was showing my scans last night... I have to go find the link
This place is in the heart of spa country thus we are going to find a spa place and stay in the spa until we are wrinkley. The boy needs to relax.
i don't know if i have the energy to join anything at present
it doesn't always work to google lyrics, it helps to add the word "lyrics" to your search, kind of narrows it down
Its not Nickleback Far Away is it?
it's pretty laid back hursh
i know, i've googled lyrics before - my brain's just not working properly at the mo
hi hurshy
lol, already found infernal, scroll down. :-)

i despise ringworm. had to quarantine my cats for two months on account of it once.
oh...
metal can+two vowels
hi dawg
ew hursh, it would be harsh on a cat i'm sure.
di8/60 pls?
it's just that it spreads so easily and NEVER dies, and since you can't tell a cat not to rub on things... it's hard to get rid of unless you take very stringent measures.
hi jellen, Frannie!, ardilla, everyone ...chat is rolling really fast
di + double consonant + indefinite article + three letter plural (used with y words)
i shut them in their (uncarpeted) room, scoured the entire house, changed clothes every time i went in to see them... it was a nightmare
ty again Jellen
yw
i wrote a song about it, to the tune of the marine corps song
di+ double consonant + **n** Oakley + snake
that's stringent measures alright
LOL hursh
from the tail of marty-zuma to the ears of cinder b we will fight our kittens' battles against ringworm, tick and flea
wow hursh, how did they handle being in only one room?
first to fight for fur and skin cells, and to keep our kittens clean we are proud to claim the title of the Enforcers of Quarantine
well they didn't like it, but then, i think i hated it worse than they did!
lol, have you ever thought of writing jingles?
yes
finally done with Vs!
lucky. i have four more.
Victory over Vs!
what is an "infinate article" (i think I need to review my grammar books before going back to teaching!
yay!
indefinite, the is definite, ** refers to just anything
ok first of all, infinate is not a word
a and an are indefinite articles
hursh, four more cats or songs?
four more V's
oh
lol
lol...I feel like a dummy!
lol, probably cats since i know she know more than 4 more songs. :-)

se5 = a net used to trap items
di8, if it were there... it's a... it's a... poison? or a medicine?

taking the aussie accent into consideration... di9 sounds like people in prison

di 9/60 is di plus double consonant+indefinite article plus 3-letter plural ending featherbee.
di9 is also know as stone mint
di8 -di + cross + sun *** + two vowels + plural
