Im here but not here, but didn't want you to feel alone. LOL np's had to do work bits and then fall into bed.
hello - I'm hiding cause I asked for a big one today - but I didn't ask for a hard big one (sorry!)
blame FM :)
Ah ha!! sooo we can blame lynxx today and a number of others too I think :)
Don't you start Atalante otherwise you will find yourself carrying the Baton of Blame!!
oh no. you can't get off so easily. we blame you for oh so subtlely influencing lynxxx ideas
LOL, so it's a hard one then lynxxx?
its cause she finishes so quickly, I just wanted to slow her down cause she makes me feel bad
it wasn't too bad till halfway
Half done, no 8s - can't see much now
oh man, that pa8 is not real!
i've got an 8!
'Aint babble great! Where else can you get global blame in one go :) I haven't started yet, going to be disciplined.

hi fmitch! :) am good as gold!! My surgeon has told me to take the cast off!!! YIIIPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!
yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
That great news! Jut take it easy and BE CAREFUL.
hi everone and yay for the cast off mrp
Yay - she's official!!! what else did he have to say to you MRP?
it still hurts like hell and I am still on morphine, but screw that! I am free of the cast!!!!!! *happy dance* - must not fall down though
ha ha is happy dance morphine or relief
well, I have to wear the cast whenever I go out... and I start physio and hydrotherapy 15 Oct. can't lift my arm more than 10cm I am afraid
time heals all mrp, this is nearly behind you
andree, the effects of the morphine have worn off the 'happy' long time ago... is just pain relief now! I would love to not have to take it anymore as it limits my thinking
that sounds great - you should feel good by Xmas
wasn't today beautiful
One stage at a time :)
that is what the surgeon said lynxx!
today was beautiful! ok, besides the blood tests, xrays, surgeon and dentist appointments.... just beautiful
and the kids were reasonable to be with... this new 'diet' they are on seems to be working in a positive way
i did have a better day than you mrp , took the day off and played golf
lucky girl!! I will get better and join you for golf by the new year andree!
that would be so cool mrp
... breakfast time. Good to catch up MrP. TTFN

hi tikong :)
Morning .......just popping in for 5 minutes
good morning everyone
am here, just arrived, but babbling to have something to grab hold of. Just survived (I think) a major panic attack after my boss called. Man was as kind and pleasant as can be, so go figure.
Why are you still here toad? You should be giving us the new babbler LOL
oh sprite! you ok?? what happened??
hi cait and t&t :)
yah I wish. I'm ready to be "unpregnant" haha
Hi sprite how did hubby do in interview yesterday?
but I got to talk to my husband briefly this morning. before his internet dropped the connection or something
Hi mrp
I bet he cant wait either toad
yah, he's on high alert, waiting for the email and the red cross message
I am going to skype
nothing happened... except my boss called. Enough for the worst panic attack I have ever had... surprised my neighbours did not come looking if I had gone crazy. Hubby said he did not have a great feeling about the 2nd interview, it went not smooth at all. But they also told him the other candidates were no longer in the race. We hear today if they will continue it with him...
(((((((sprite))))))) you are doing so well Im sure he did ok
thanks cait :)
I like this grid!!!
me too cait
I have promised 2 ofmy granddaughters their favourite tea after school tonight ..shepherds pie ..so I will have to start cooking..back later

Hi CoolGirl - 214 - 6*39 7*16 8*4
How come you can't see the stats on screen Cool?
214 words
thankyou im glad itsa igger grid today
Liz - CoolGirl is out of the 2 week grace period so can't see them anymore. Yes, she will go pro as soon as she finishes her final year
oh I didnt realise there was a grace period! I must've gone pro before that time ran out?
goodness Liz - I didn't realise how 'new' you were - thought you had been playing for a long time
Since May this year Lynxxx
well that stopped the conversation LOL
It's a quiet log again Liz and hello.
just working my way down the words I've got to make sure I have the plurals ets...I always hit myself when I go to Lickety
Hi FM! Hows the course going?
teabreak FM?
So far so fun :) Submitted TMA01 and have 1st tutorial tonight
Just popped in to say Hi to KLiz lynxxx then back to the spreadsheets.
Well done. The first one is the hardest to get done I found - after that its easier coz you've had the practice!
dear mrP helped me calm down from this ugly panic attack, so I didn't chat here... hi guys, am back now in more than one sense and finally ready to babble
Hi Sprite
I was cheered by the fact I had to cut it down in size. Hi sprite glad MrP helped.
she was the very best, FMitch. Her support and 2 oxazepam and a lot of chocolat brought me back to earth :)
Yes, nothing worse than if you struggle to make up the words
god bless friends, chocolat and even medication if the need is high
Hello Sprite, more than glad you are OK. How did your husband go yesterday?
and what about yours Liz? Hows it going?
*passes Sprite another bar of choc* and I dont give choc away to just anyone :)
he said it did not go smoothly and he did not have a very good feeling about it. But they also told him there were no longer any other candidates. So we will hear today if they will go on with him or not
I'm on a year off Sprite while my little girl is young. Next yer I'm taking up where I left off which will be another 60 point course
owwww Liz, thank you! That is indeed a precious gift and I appreciiatd. :)
you're welcome Sprite
Sorry I meant to type FM there not Sprite! About the course!
if they do, he will have to do an assessment to see in what areas he might need some more study. And after that, a talk with the Bosses... and if all works out ok, he will get the job.
Fingers crossed Sprite...your second sentence reads hopefully though
Uh oh phone, thats my signal to get back to the grind *waves* and almost drops the phone.
Bye FM nice to 'see' you
My personal feeling about it is not bad yet. I would not be surprised iif it is part of the selection, to have a not-so-easy conversation and see how he holds up under it.
so we will see... and I will tell you as soon as I know!
I think you are reading it correctly Sprite
thanks lynxxx :) I really hope so, and my finge3rs are crossed.
I have to dash, not quite halfway but I have time later. Bye all have fun :)
bye Liz
bfn Liz and thanks for the lovely chocolate!
My friend from belgium bought me over a wee box of Belgium chocolates for my birthday. Delish! I didn't even share! Even the white chocolate was great and I usually don't like that. Belgium chocolate IS the best
oh yes, belgium chocolat is wonderful :)
no e on the chocolate Sprite? is that dutch spelling? must say I like it, think I'll start dropping the e too
dutch spelling is chocolade. With e. I guess I am still typing like a fool, not totally calmed down yet.
maybe we can start a new trend...chocolat....looks good
I like the look of that, lynxxx!
good morning all
and I think it is more correct, even. With chocolat, we don't want to associate with late, now do we. And with lat, as in latte... milk... I can think of some nice things :D
hi flosey
up much to early, will babble a bit til tired enough to sleep again
hi sprite
poor flosey... wish I could keep you company but daughter is due home about now and she brings a friend for lunch.
have to be back later... hugs and hope you sleep well!

oh man, I am good today! I got the c's and a's in record time!! (if I do say so myself :B)
I hate c's and a's btw

as of today, I get to go cast free in the house!!
wow, enjoy that freedom mrp

she's just not allowed to do a Mr Cruise and go jumping about on the couch
I'm diving back in - hoping to get tired enough to go back for a bit more sleep
sleep flosey!
it's 3:35 am here mrp, need more sleep

morning all
hi carlee
Hi Carlee!
how everyone today
emotionally sh*t, but gridwise pretty ok. Nice grid today. And babble friends have been much appreciated today, even more than before :D How are you?
good thankyou Carlee.
well... I am dealing with a whole rack of family sh*t myself... on top of the other stuff
oh carlee - big hug
no doubt from m-i-l ?
Good to see you are still visiting us/Babble for some light relief Carlee. Think of you a lot.
his family has decided to block any and all info gettign to me... and my kids... if was not for my father visiting... i would not know he is up walking with walker...but..apparently I am not to know about that one
how very cruel
thanks lynxx
i am not sure why they so hate me... but apparently they do
Oh Carlee ... hang in there
the whole thing makes me sick to my stomach
can well understand carlee, but how can they block you from getting info?
the hospital in another city...the days I took off to stay with my kids..they been down there every day visiting him
morning Carlee sorry to hear of your woes......
and coming back at night....and have not breathed a WORD about how he is doing
you mean 'they' are poisoning the kids minds?
you need to confront them Carlee that is just not right... you are his wife!
nope.... the kids are not being told either
indeed nanette,
but how about getting info from the Dr?
i can do that..IF I could get ahold of the dr
can the staff at the hospital give you info?
areyou
yes.... but that not the point
Would you be able to speak to the physio people instead he's probably having that everyday?
are you not able to speak to your hubby?
the point is..>THEY should do so
he didn't want a phone...
yes they should!!
so I have not spoken to him since saturday
of course they SHOULD
that s*cks big time, carlee
Carlee it is wonderful tho that he is able to get about with a walker!
Hi all
yes..it is.. already... its excellent....which is why.. I cannot believe they would not bother to tell me
Hi Peri
(((((((((((carleekat))))))))))
hi peri
no, that is utterly mean, carlee
{{{hugs}}} back peri
do you suppose maybe he wanted to surprise you with that when you go see him next?
Just ring them 'cheerfully' every night before they go back to the hospital with messages to give your husband...wear them down with good cheer
good one lynxxx
hi peri
Hi Peri.
good idea, lynxxx and hi peri
not likely... long story... but my father ( who has suddenly reappeared in my life ) has been calling with updates...given his "previous record of 30+ years " one would not expect him to bother reporting
keep up with the reiki pls peri...he is up walking with a walker already
time for breakfast here bbl
I will carlee and will send some to you too :-)
carlee, whatever is happening and whatever the backstory, I can see and feel you use your heart the right way. Hold on to your love and trust in yourself.
Going to finish this in the morning. See you later everyone. Big farewell hugs for ((Carlee)) & ((Sprite))
thank you {{hugs}}
bye lynxxx, big *hug* for you too
{hug } to lynxx

ty. lots of long ones, eh?
bfn flosey
hi there lideola
later flosey
morning flosey, all
not really. 4x8 and 16 x7
hi lideola
oh, I guess i just got them quickly - usually I have to search for the 7s and 8s.
RULES FOR COPING WITH PANIC 1. Remember that feelings of panic are just exaggerations of normal bodily stress reactions. 2. Sensations are neither harmful nor dangerous - just unpleasant. Nothing worse will happen. 3. Anxiety is temporary. Instead of fighting it, relax into it. Just let it be. 4. Focus on facing the fear, rather than trying to avoid it or escape from it. 5. Stop adding to the panic with frightening thoughts of where panic will lead. 6. Stay in the present. Be aware of what is happening to you rather than concern yourself with how much worse it might get. 7. Notice that when you stop adding to the panic with frightening thoughts, the fear begins to fade. 8. Wait and give the fear time to pass. 9. Look around you. Plan what you will do next as the panic subsides. 10. When you are ready to go on, do so in an easy, relaxed manner. There is no hurry. 11. Think about the progress so far, despite all the difficulties.
hi lideola
thank you for that babble
hi sprite, peri
awwww BabbleRabble, that is very sweet of you. Thanks. I think I might have done pretty well then, this time. Thanks for reaching out and sharing.
may I please have clues for the 8's
phantom = aorta
Hi all im back..
I have none so far, sorry
wb caitlyn
the first 8 is an al that refers to people at the dry cleaners who can make your clothes fit better
my phantom so far (just started)- is appellate
thanks elemce
thanks elemce
pa8 is the person that decorates your room (plural)
another is what you might do if you move into a new house and the bedroom has leopard print walls
I have seen more phantoms than real words, mind is still a bit groggy. But I just ate and I am proud of me for doing so. Bet it wil help function the brain better too :)
al 8.40; as 8.45; pa 8.50; re 8.50;
thanks cait
Are you feeling better than you did earlier sprite?
ah, thanks for that oen too, never thought that would be words.
and elemce
yw peri
the 8s a re all fairly well-adjusted as far as abnormal words go
tthanks BR will look for them
cait: yes, am certainly. Totally tired now, like I have run a marathon, but I think that is normal. There is more calm now and I can breathe and babble. I seem to have feet again, and they rest firmly on the floor. Sounds like improvement, right? :)
thanks BabbleRabble, that helps
Sounds much more like you now sprite
I am glad, cait, thanks :)
the re 7/8 combo is that same man doing it to your room again LOL
thanks BR got the re8, still looking for the as 8
thanks cait
LOL
np
as 8 -- add, an individual is a *****n and end with the letter that sounds like are
wonderful babbleRabble, thank you, that worked at once. Strange word to me.
Good afternoon/morning all.
I have just done a marathon shepherds pie cook in...a large one for us a smaller one for the grandchildren and 2 vegetarian ones for daughter

Hi Haz
Hello, Haz
Hello there! I was on earlier, though just lurked. It's a nice grid today.

So, no tantrums, caitlyn? Hello peri as well.
thanks BR never would have found the as8
Not today Haz..but a major one in the shop the other day..why do they insist on moving everything around in supermarkets..I couldnt find half of what I wanted
yw
I hate when they do that cait
I'll probably be joining you in the tantrum department. There's a new Tescos opening here soon, the one I go to will be closed down. The trauma of a new shopping routine! But I'll live.
Have fun!!!LOL
Do I detect a note of glee?
No Haz only a slight hint of sarcasm
Hmmmmm.
Concerning panic....my daughter's baby is 2 mos. old and yesterday she started having panic attacks. I'm sure it must be related to fatigue. I kept the baby last nite and hope she slept well. Her gyno gave her Xanax and Cymbalta....send good thoughts her way.
Oh poor thing chiley..I will send her good thoughts ..is her 1st baby?
xanex for a baby ... wow
I'm not familiar with the medication, Chiley, but I hope they, and some rest, help.
will do indeed chiley - hugs
bbl
bye peri
NO BR....for my daughter
Bye peri.
good mommy/grandmom! having help like the kind you are offering will be reassurance enough to help her through...
okay
DESPITE TOM CRUISE i am so happy that post partum maternal issues are finally being taken seriously
Well said lideola
I'm hoping he regrets saying what he did. Did anyone take him seriously?
Im sure some men did Haz
probably just all the other kooks. i've a self proclaimed ban on all of his work
I don't think he regrets it...he truly feels that way. It's the Scientology belief.
Would most men not disregard someone who has strange ideas on lots of things, not just mental health issues?
Some people are easily led especially by someone well known to the public
he's a kooky kook who says kooky things and has kooky beliefs that are sooooo counterproductive
So, you're ambivalent about him, lideola?
what on earth did he say?
Lideola, I won't buy or see another of his movies either.
lol he doesn't factor in to my existence
I don't tend to read about movie people, and see very few movies
He criticised Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants for post-natal depression.
Nor me flosey
G'd morning Babblers. That was a fun little grid.
And by inference, any mothers who need medical intervention.
And went on to pretty much deny that psychiatry has any benefits for anyone
Morning Lori
Well hello, Lori - come to gloat, huh?
hello, Lori
he said something about post partum depression being a crock and not a real thing- an excuse. He criticized Brooke Shields for having problems about having children
after, not about
plus, i just don'tlike his acting... Top Gun was fun because i was an 11 year old impressionable girl
oh my stars, so he's an expert on maternal needs, etc. - when will such insensitive men learn to just keep out of it all
Not gloating Haz. Just feeding my need to distract others from completion...... :)
Cruis is a great actore. Like many greats though, as a person he's stark raving mad.
Face it, Lori, you just like to drag the rest of us into gloom, despair and low self-esteem.
You're not Tom Cruise, are you?
LOL Lori..can I join you ? I have finished the grid as well
think he's just become too full of himself
don't forget "agony, oh me, deep dark depression, excessive misery" -- or do you not know Hee Haw?!? LOL
Misery loves company Haz!
clue for the as8 plz (i just missed it earlier)
mm, one who al5/10 plural
Good morning all. Love to bash Tom. He jumped on Oprah's couch like a raving lunatic
mm extend the as 6
i need the aS 8 flosey
Morning Shawnee
well, my other phantom is PERRLA- which is an acronym for Pupils Equal, Round and Reactive to Light and Accomodation
oops, sorry, not reading right!!!
as 8 is the one who casts nasty barbs and slander
not really a phantom since it is there, but not a proper word either
which as6 caitlyn?
I typed in appliance about 17 times. Not once did it work. :(
as8 - extend as5/12 - if it had a g in front, it would be one out of breath and hardly able to speak.
mm there is only one as6 which is plural of the 2nd as 5/12
I was working in the lab late one night .... BBP
got it, ty all
as + *****nally I think Cruise is insane + I mean *eally nits!
Tom Cruise has nits?
G'd morning BR
Does Katie know?
Hello... the
Hello... the
Hello... the
no- those are probably not a true illness/medical issue and just an excuse
They'll need to treat the whole family.
gawd. my typing matches his insanity....
You have got a stammer BR!!!
yes yes yes yes yyyyyyyyyyeeeessssssss
O rare you having a good time? LOL
thx for that excellent clue LoriP
just being an interloper in the tom cruise fan club love fest
Methinks that BR may need some private time, and possibly a smoke.....
What side do you take, Babble?
LOL Lori..the babble world is sooooo interesting
cruise can have his opinions and I can disregard them
good morning, Babblers! I was notified yesterday that our home loan has cleared the underwriters, and now we just have to wait for the house to be ready!
That sounds good to me, Babble.
the odds of a grid with the three same letters under themselves is 1 in 17,576
Hi angel that is great news ..well done
wonderful Angelsong, very exciting
Are you sure, hurshy?
congrats, Angelsong
Hi hurshy
pretty sure
maybe i misthought the logic but the computer did the calc so if i didn't then it is right
Did you have an equation to work with? Or an equation with which to work, if being grammatical and mathematical?
Time to go...lunch..do some jobs for mum..then the school run...try to see you all later..have fun..bye
well there are 26^25 grids
Bye caitlyn - have a good day.
Excellent Angel. Good for you! Later caitlyn.
if three boxes MUST be one given letter (ie the same as the one above) then there are only 26^22 grids
divide and voila.
color me dopey but i am still looking for the sme 3 letters
per. I'm not so dopey.
And it's lunchtime - I'll be back!
aaaaaah i got it- iwas looking for an AAA or CCC in a column
cya, Haz
Happy dining Haz.
Good morning all. The photo is my daughter's dog -- she took her in for her first professional grooming, and not knowing what "do you want your dog to have a close trim?" meant, her SHELTIE now looks like this! They were both quite distraught!
I know I shouldn't laugh, but ....
must get started with my day...bbl...happy babbling and gridding
well, I think she is cute, and no shedding to contend with for a while at least
Later lideola
bye lideola. I love your Grover
True, Shawnee! My daughter feels terrible though; her Sheltie is like her baby. But I agree -- I think she looks pretty cute, just not like a Sheltie.
Apparently it will take six months or so for the hair to grow out, or longer
ch1212 - your friend has a Sheltie?
oh that looks pretty bad!
My daughter, lickety -- a darling little Sheltie who is almost a year old now
Our darling sheltie is 2 and a half.
So you know how sheltie's are supposed to look :)
they are amazing dogs - really a member of the family - we don't have fences in our yard, but it doesn't matter.
she sleeps on our bed, has to be with us where ever we go, just a darling temperment - very cute - very funny, playful, loving - We get kisses in bed every morning, then she rolls on her back making ruff ruff noises.
They are indeed. My sister has 3, and I used to babysit them whenever she had to go out of town. All three are trained rehabilitation dogs, where they visit the local hospitals and nursing homes.
i need a j, someone help me find a j
yeah - the public loves them - we get people come up to them - but normally she goes to them
((Lickety))
And one of them goes to the library and participates in the 'reading' program for kids, where she puts her paw on the pages as the children read to her.
ja 4 & ja 5
ty
This little sweetie is named "Dulce", and she fits her name.
teep
oops i blame it on not feeling well soz lol hows everyone?

hi Scarlet
Hiya Scarlet
Hi {{{scarlet}}}
Hi there, movieman! I must see the new one, Michael Clayton... any buzz on it, MM?
Morning Scarlet!
Aw, AnnieB... *Mucho Hugs to you, too!* How is everyone today?
George Clooney is in it. What else is to know?
I need to get going all....I have a story to get done today
Hi Scarlet!
LOL, and good morning to you, dear Haz!
hi Annie
go for it, jade
Apparently Clooney is being tipped for an Oscar nom.....
Hi nono and haz!
Hello Scarlet - good morning to you as well. And good morning/afternoon to everyone.
Oh, thanks for that, mm.
hi Haz
Hello sprite!
yw scarlet
Annie, you're going to the movies for the Tommy Lee Jones movie? You WILL be back for the 6:00 Big Show, right?
Scarlet, everything is ready right now.....Bobby and I will be "dining" in the livingroom...I turned the TV off after Big Papi hit the HR, of course the Bosox won...did they not.....what did the Phillies do? do you know?
Phillies lost to the Rocks, and my Cubbies couldn't get more than one run to beat the Snakes...
sorry to throw all these questions at you?
so Rhett is a happy camper?, Scarlet?
So Arizona is looking very good, and the poor Phillies could not do it in front of the worst stadium crowd in this country... they booed Santa Claus, you know!
Rhett is a very happy man... we both think the Haloes don't have a chance... either in Fenway or out of it...
having fun here trying to figure out what it is you guys are talking about :)
sounds like a cross between a so4 and sports...
Baseball, sprite... the game of the gods... LOL
Soooo, a good movie and I hope a good game....go Yankees!
grin... ok, thanks :D
Oh sorry sprite. baseball
no need to say sorry, it was fun
Cleveland looks very good, Annie... but, yes, Go Yankees!!
LOL, sprite... it took me many weeks to figure out what the word "footie" meant in chat, but finally, the light dawned!
The Yankees will beat the Indians, mark my words...you heard it here
I still don't know, lol
YES'm AnnieBrooklyn!
I sort of intuited that it meant the European version of "football" meaning soccer, sprite... Iwill hear from many if I am wrong.
LOL, now that I have SPOKEN, time to clean the mess I made in the kitchen making coffee........
ah ok, the football as opposed to the more rugby like type. Big difference indeed! Thank you.
LOL, Annie... we have chile and hoagies all set for the 3 kick-off of another long day, sigh, of baseball. Have a good time at the movies and Go Yanqueros!
I hope I'm right,sprite... I will have the wrath of many rugby and soccer fans on my neck if I am ignorant... LOL
Thanks Scarlet...having an early lunch with a friend and then on to the movie...see you after the game
hey, if I ever lie, it will be in commision :)
See you soon, AnnieB! *hugs* LOL, sprite...
byeAnnieB :)
Bye Annie.
mornin all, sprite been lovin the vids here, ty
Hello and good morning, grammaterri!
my beloved husband took me upstairs and warmed me and cuddled me until I could relax a bit more. It is a man to cherish until the end of time, I can tell you.
same to ya scarlet
hi gramma
I am glad, gramma! It was so much fun to pick them and it is now to share them.
I bet it is, I have so many fav videos on youtube it would be hard to pick lol
sprite, you have a good eye for off-the-wall and interesting videos... the man who played the guitar across his lap was very interesting!
man I want maniac in the grid lol
if you could make a list and send them to mrP or lickety, they would be much obliged, gramma, and we would appreciate sharing your picks!
ok I will, ty sprite
Good morning my friends!
oh yes, I loved him, Scarlet! And the pleasure he has while doing it - that is what triggered my interest the most, I think. He glows from the inside.
hi ya mom
morning Mom!
Hi Grammaterri, I haven't seen you in awhile. How are you?
Morning Sprite. Glad to see you again
doing good, I kept grandkids all summer so was very busy
Sprite my fingers are crossed for you and your husband. My prayers also
I bet you were busy, Gramma
I did get to finish most of the grids, just no time to chat lol
if these are your grandkids in those pics, gramma, they seem to have a wonderful time. Great kids!
Mom, that means so much to me, to us. Thank you :)
was lurking earlier (sweetie was helping) so couldn't talk
ty, yes they are all well adjusted happy kids, thank God
you are so welcome {{hugs}}
Good morning, Mom!
lovely grandchildren Gramma
Good morning Scarlet {{Hugs}}
not a monster, but large enough grid today
ty mom I think so ( :
a pleasant grid so far
:)
Scarlet is the pic from your garden.....
I have 113 and now the words are hiding lol
Morning Nono
so I am diving back in, happy babbling all
hi Mom!
I have managed 55 so far. I would like to get 1/2 way
you too Gramma
happy babbling gramma
have 142 so far...
Gramma, I just looked at your icon, and saw the amazing Derek Jeter... No, Nono, I didn't grow peppers this year, but I would never eat the habaneros, either! Today's theme is "Hot Food"
excellent Nono, you will be finished in no time
Nono, I have a whopping 81!
you are 20 ahead of me, Scarlet. :)
relax guys... every word you find is a little victory!
keep going scarlet... ive been on since 6 am
little victories are what keep us going
LOL, Mom... yes, sprite, the spiritual way of measuring half-full and half-empty! Ohmigosh, Nono...
took a break for breakfast and had to make a couple of phone calls but been searching the grid while not doing other things
stupid J words, finally got them
it is how I play, really. I enjoy every word I find. Even if it is a K and that is saying a lot. Just as with sudoku. No matter which one, every new number I find contributes to the final solution. I play for fun... so I find fun in every step, lol.
I tried Sudoku and could not do it. Which frees up more time for babble
see, a sunside to everything!
:)
i always finish sudoku before coming to babble
There is the story of the little things that too many of us take for granted: each day "gifts" us with small victories, and if we stop to truly appreciate them, we wrap them in the gentleness of our memories and then throw them over our shoulder. As the days pass and months accrue, we continually move forward... but if we peek back on our paths, we have a mountain of beautiful things to take us into reality of some of the harsher things in life... it softens our pain... Enjoy today... that's why it is called "The present"
that is very pretty Scarlet.
Thank you, Mom.
I love that, Scarlet. I treasure the quote: Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That is why it is called: the present.
love that outlook scarlet
*Hugs to all* Thank you for adding to the philosophical tone of the morning... Thank you, Nono.
I cross stitched a saying a while back that gets me through the rough spots: I know God won't give me anything I can't handle I just wish he didn't trust me so much
this is by far the best site and community everywhere. You guys are really precious.
LOL, perfect, Mom...
thank you Scarlet
LOLLLLLLL Mom... my thoughts exactly! Wonderful saying.
I agree, sprite!
Sprite, I agree. Even though I have not met you in person, I think of you all as my friends.
same here, Mom. There is a friendship in spirit, if not in the flesh, between many members here.
I talk about everyone to my sweetie so often, I think if something happened to me he would come and tell everyone.
That is so comforting, Mom... we have such a true center of caring here...
that would be great, Mom... the telling, not the need to, of course! We'd want to know... and help give some support.
it is because of him, that I am even here. He found this site for me
I think you don't call him your sweetie for nothing... he sounds truly special
I hope he never has to come tell you all anything :)
My daughter is the original holder of this site, and knows my love of words, so she "gifted" me with it, and at the end of October, I will have my one-year anniversary (!) in Babble. Yes, Mom... never!
nope, please not. We love to have you around here and wish you only good!
he is so special. It is rare that I even refer to him by his given name, which is a beautiful name, an old family name. His name is Shaler. :)
yay Scarlet!
I can't believe that you played for a year and never chatted, Mom... now, you are very much a part of the "sweetest ladies" of Babble!
Heck, I will just die of meanness. lol
aw, that sounds special too!
Beautiful name, Mom...
Yeah, sure, Mom...
thank you Scarlet. I am a bit on the shy side (don;t laugh)
We named our first son after his daddy but call him Shay.
we do not laugh, Mom. I can totally imagine it is not easy to drop in into the often quite intimate chat here. But I do hope it is still very open and friendly to whomever dares to drop :)
Is that name, by any chance, Scottish in origin, Mom?
Goooooood Morning, Baaaaaablerrrs!
love both Shaler and Shay
Helllllllllloooooooooooo, Judi!
Morning Judi
ah well Judi, was that you whispering there? A good morning to you :)
Tee-hee........
I don't know, Scarlet. His uncle, who lived down in the mountains of KY is who he is named after. I will have to ask him about that
Good morning Judi :)
I just figured it was a moonshiners name lol
Hahhahhaha....
Shay is originally an Irish name, i think it was first found in County KerrY
Thank you, craggus, and good morning!
Thank you Craggus
and good morning
morning :o)
Are you feeling any better, craggus... or working on a cold?
if anything slightly worse today so stayed off work again and just relaxing

Good morning, jane.
Hello harpjane.
It's a nice grid, with some twists, harpjane.
big and twisty enough to be a challenge and easy enough to be still fun.
twists, ok, why not?
clue for the ps5, i cant even seem to monkey it!
I'll tiptoe out and not disturb the peace. Walk time. Happy babbling! (sorry, hope the exclamation mark didn't raise the volume)
:-), Haz.
ps5 - ps, the first two letters of what you use to row a boat with, finish with a vowel. Bye!

Good! It's like Boggle, and you cannot use the same tile twice in one word; also, you can only use the word once, even if you have found it in different places in the grid. You're welcome, Beck.
welcome praise2him

Thank you, inge!

Yes they did - actually hoping for a loss - Hubby and I have tickets for Sunday's game!

I have to be off, baby is having a hard day, blessings ya'll, becks ttyl
Wow! Nice "get"., CadFan... yell your brains out... After the Rockies' triple play earlier in the season, I thought, "Whoa... a contender!"

=P I'm actually leaving in 20 minutes to go get my hair did. =)
Poor redshoes. You were expecting sympathy, weren't you?
of course. coddle me, dang it.
Try putting plurals on lots of things. That always helps.
and I would appreciate it if the OED accepted more spanish words. ha.
ok. there we are. over half way
=)
See, you just needed a push.
guess so. thanks Haz.
Any time. They don't call me the Bulldozer for nothing.
:-D
al5/10 the first one not the awake one
The first one IS awake, the second one changes.
the second one is to adjust to fit your needs... or to just fit
im having so much trouble finding the sc's, only have 5! argh lol
You want the bulldozer treatment or a clue or two?
Afternoon all and Hello to The Bulldozer :)
Fireworks here - tx for some great clues
Aha - the Administrator has put the god of love down. Hello FMitch!
Congratulations ursh!
a clue for the 7's wud be gr8!
woohoo, ursh!!!
I only have 6 scs =)
LOL Hi Haz, how is going?
7/36's i shud say
sc7/36 the first is like a royal wand
sc5/12: disdain, sc7 one who disdains
sc7/36 - two versions of a kingly symbol
i don't have the second 7/36
sc6/24 yell loudly
ahhhh, I didn't have the disdainer
Fine, thanks, FMitch - dog walked, grid done, dry weather.
the 7/32 is one who sc 5/12's above it
do you have the king's rod?
thanks for the king's rod!!
sc7 - i think a bishop carries one or is it the pope
The counterpart to the King's rod may be rendered in two different ways.
ohh bah at alternate spellings
Oh good! Haven't got a dog, haven't done the grid but lovely sunshine here .
it's me
wow... the yell gave me a few words. hadn't looked that way. The king's rod has been my favorite find today. =)
the kings rod?
Well, one out of three isn't bad. Your favourite god is there.
oh my
thanks guys
It's not a rod! It accompanies the rod but is shaped like a globe.
hey, craggus :-)
sounds like a cheesy historical romance
What? He is supposed to be out working and I find him lazing in the grid!! Typical.
oh right. I think of the whole thing together... however... I supposed "king's rod" doesn't sound very good... ha.
Take your eyes off the god of love at your peril.
Good Lord! The one day I don't bother coming here until late and it's a big grid.
hey uneaixoise!
Hello, btw.:-)
wow... yesterday some co-player in a computergame pissed me off big time... and I told him so... told him again today and he actually apologised. Miracles never cease. I might learn to like being direct :)
Hello Jacula!
howdy, jac!
Afternoon Jacs. Did you find a good place for bunny?
Jac! *huggggggg* So good to see you :)
You can't beat it, sprite.
good for you, sprite! assertive!
I put him under the plum trees by the statue of St. Francis, FMitch.
Sounds perfect.
oh yes! And without being agressive, I just told him I play for fun and having him pressure me was not fun. I feel better about myself for this :)
I suppose I'd better go and dress for the 'hot food' theme.
it's a bird . . . it's a plane . . . it's . . . SuperBabbler Sprite!!
today's the feast day of St. Francis, by the way
hey, harp!
We'll be sure not to annoy you from now on, sprite.
We will be good!
how do you celebrate? gather all the little animals about and sing them songs?
LOL Haz... you can annoy me as much as you want. You have special permission, remember :)
in a lot of places they have "blessing of the animals"
oh sure we can have hornpipes but not cornpipes
I thought oct 4 was his dying day?
oh yeah...i;ve forgotten about that
That's true, sprite. Just don't let power go to my head. I could be dangerous.
well a fine day i picked then to hit a doe...or she picked to hit me
pretty close, lideola, in some places they bless the animals
oh, nooooo!!!
you ARE dangerous, Haz. It is when you're at your best. Don't hold in on my account.
oh where did it happen TO? i am gathering you are ok since you are here
but I bless my animals every day, with my presence
A power crazed Bulldozer, you dont want to aggrevate that!
This must be how James Bond feels when given a mission.
I attend St. Francis church and we are going have a special mass for peace
just today there was an article in our local paper about the huge increase in deer involved in car crashes due to builders usurping their habitats . . .
"My name is Haz. Babbler Haz."
i am going to a concert of a composition for st francis next week
LOL sprite
cool, TO!
i also attened st francis of assissi for years
Could Pearse come back to help me out? Show me the ropes?

Is the am 6/24 one of those wierd long vowell words
and then to know I own a laptop, Haz...
its a strain on the nerves, isn't it TO? takes a while to calm down from that. Are you ok?

am6/24 - am plus French father

Another laptop about to spark into death.

Congratulations sprite.
Well done, sprite.
glad you are ok TO
errrr Haz.... not me fireworks. Laptop fireworks from drooling sparks. I still need 40.
First word I've 'seen' is Mancunians (Mancs). LOL
Ah wel, two more minutes and we'll celebrate for real.
lol... yeah, sure
No pressure.
No burden of expectation.
We're NOT like that other man.
grin... I feel free of those. I babble, one word at a time. And I celebrate finding each and every one. It takes as long as it takes.
That's how I play, too, sprite.:-)
I hear a burst of Doris Day singing 'Que sera, sera'
i could use so po6/21 about now
LOL, Haz.
okay fish time... I don't see the am.. 6
great Jac :) We'd have real fun playing together, I think.
Not if you value your eyesight, TO. It's lethal stuff!
Back from phone call
am + one of those equal to you, but mixed up
apparently mine isn't so swell now. never saw the thing until in my hood
It is sooo strange chatting w/o a word list to refer to, very unnerving
You could say anything, FMitch and run the risk of the penalty box.
*sticks tape over mouth*
Are you going to do the grid, or do you not have time?
and as we all know, that is no bad punishment at all. I am sure I left some dutch chocolates there this morning.
As if they were going to last until now.
Oh did you sprite, looks over to PB longingly
lol Haz
Im going to go and have a look in the PB and then I had better go, have to head out in 50 mins. Nope only emplty wrappers :( Oh well. Have fun all.
*gives FMitch another box on her way out
bye mitch. bye all
'Bye, FM. xx
Well, have fun, yourself and enjoy yourself!
Are you going as well, TO?

Well, take care - not a nice thing to have happened.

Bye TO.
take care of yourself, TOwl, it is something that shocks one to the bone. *hug*
'Bye, TO. ((hugs))
aw, you guys! : /

*hugs*
Daughter's just come home from uni. I'll BBL. 'Bye, ladies. xx
the last le5/12?
le5/12 - three letters as with the disease sufferer, but finish with baby/British word of thanks.
Bye Jacula.
thanks haz
And bye to sprite, as well.
You're welcome, craggus.
im giving up for now with 19 evading me, going for a lie down, chat you all later!
See you later craggus.
good morning again - caught another 3 hours of sleep!
Hello flosey - feeling rested now?
yes thanks Haz, 4 hours is not enough sleep for a night - especially busy company time
missing two ap5,12's - got the last and the plural of mimes.
Good, it's not nice trying to get through the day with scratchy eyes.
pa5/15 - a plus the beginning of a keyboard instrument.
for sure, this friend leaves today and group of 5 coming tomorrow for the weekend
gives me time to change that bed and prepare others
ap5/12 - ap plus beginning of far's opposite spells out a sleep disorder.
Well, you need to be on your toes for guests, flosey.
ahh american spellings! damn it
thank you Haz
You're welcome.
could I have a clue for the ap5/14 following sleep disorder?
a fruit misspelled
ap5/14 - puts me in mind of French call
ah, thanks Haz
tx haz
You're welcome, flosey and cool girl.
am6 please?
am6 is a unit of electrical measurement and incorporates a French father.
got it thanks Haz
That's good.
one of the ce4,6's?
Hi, back to find my last 61 words
ce4/6 - one is plural of the mushroom type, the other ends in a vowel but is structured in the same way.
Hello peri.
Right, I'd better head to the kitchen if we're to eat tonight. See you again.
see you later Haz
bye haz, thanks for clues
ma 7 please?

my husband did not get the job, alas. Just got the call.
thanks for all of you who sent him support, it is much much appreciated!
oh no :(:(
they said they would have loved to get him as a collegue and they thought he was a very strong practical coach... but they wanted more of a salesperson
only good news is, they asked if they could approach him if something else came up, or even if they heard about a good job for him at another firm
yay that's good!
and they tipped him off about a firm that is looking for intercedents in the construction... at least that is positive and he said he would go check it out.
I hope it is good. Forgive me if I lose faith now for a bit.
*hugs*
thanks :)
well I've just found out something EVEN WORSE! (well, not really)
what is it?
somehow during whatever A'net did, Val has somehow now not that D**N MISSION THAT TOOK A WEEK TO DO!
how is that possible?
which one... the one we did together?
I have no idea! but I just travelled through the orchard and the mission sign is there again
no! the single person HARPY one!
oh LOLLLLLLL
Ata... darling... the mission sign is there ALWAYS
you can do the mission 100,000 times if you like
really????!!! oh PHEW!
I was about to cry!
just check the M map. Is the icon blinking? Only then you havet to do it. If the swords are there, don't worry...
thank you thank you! now I just wish I could sort your sadness out so easily!
was just about to suggest something like that, LOL
at least it wasn't a case of they didnt think he was good enough, it was just that they wanted someone with different skills
yes, they were very clear about that. The guy that called was totally serious when he said he would really have wanted my husband as his collegue. I think they are also serious about keeping him in mind.
if that was just a formality thing to say, they would have said it like that... we keep your data available a little longer sir...
yes, exactly/ its nothing that reflects badly on your husband, they just wanted a different type of person
When one door closes another opens!
I only.... ah, never mind. Done is done and my wishes have never meant much to the big guy upthere. No reason why that would be any different now, would it.
but your immediate wishes might not be so good long term, for some reason. he knows what he's doing!
and, what is behind door # 4????? A whole supply of toilet paper for a full year, what a luck!
better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!
you are right, of course, Ata. I think I better allow myself a boot of bitterness and then go on with life with a more positive attitude... as ever.
at least I love having toilet paper in supply... hate to be almost without.
Toilet paper is a Very Important Thing.
You can even wipe your nose on it when you're sad about things.
true. Anyone doubting that statement will change his mind once he has been without for a weekend.
Evening everyone :-)
Sorry to leap into a serious discussion with flippancy! =)
exactly! and sometimes flippancy is a good thing!
Vicuna, I am glad you do :) Hi katieW
http://www.flickr.com/photos/elegaer/1 484058773/
that should cheer you up :)
awwwwww that is so sweet
*grins* she just doesn't *quite* fit in her basket, there's always a bit hanging out!
Sweet, Ata. And it's very forbearing of you not to have tickled that ear. (Or at the very least, not until after taking the picture.)
seriously adorably
seriously adorable even
I didnt actually! she was soooo fast asleep, and making cute suckling noises
lol
how are the preparations going??
Well, obviously at the moment I'm not working!
I think I'm in good shape. I need to frame one more thing and couldn't find the right size frame...
so I'll have to mat a new one to a size frame I have...
or else, of course, just skip it. And I need to xerox more notecards and can't find one of my copy masters...
SO I must have left it in the xerox machine last time I made copies.
And I can't get my stupid computer to print the jpgs the way I want to make a new copy master...
the usual annoyances then!
(Stupid program, actually, not really computer's fault!)
sounds relatively normal to me...
Exactly. So I'm irritated, but not stressed out.
argh. printing. ARGH
printing should be so easy ...
I haven't been able to find a photo printing program I like since the old one crashed in the spring.
I want to do something perfectly simple and it WON'T LET ME!!!
you can't get anotehr copy?
Nope, it's too old. It's no longer supported.
what was your old one?
Admittedly if I were willing to spend hundreds of dollars I could possibly find one that did what I want.
lol - a chance for me to display my ignorance! I don't remember what it was called. My husband is in charge of computers in our house and he searched all over to get it back running for me!
Now I'm using iPhoto and it's driving me loopy.
iPhoto sounds worrying ..
what do you want a program to do?
It's got a million bells and whistles for printing fancy scrapbook pages or something, and it lets you do "I'm a complete technophobe" printing...
but what do you really need it to do?
I want to be able to arrange multiple photos on a page, with the orientation and size I request.
That's all!
you got powerpoint?
I've never used it. But I'm sure if I don't my husband does.
that works, usually. you can make a blank slide, and copy / paste the pics in however you want
hideous grid, or just me?
You're not hideous, hurshy!
hideous grid
Hmm... I'll ask him about that. Thanks.
microsoft publisher, i think, is intended for that, but you could make due with pp
you are nice, hurshy. The grid is fun from where I am standing, but I have a totally rotten day.
yeah, publisher's even better, but for a simple thing, PP works fine
or i think adobe pagemaker?
(And by the way, Ata, these ongoing printer problems have to do with why you haven't recieved your Babble trading card from me yet! *sorry!*)
I always use paintshop pro, but that is not really easy
you *can* even do it in excel if you white out the cell markings
*is embarrassed that she's still not even started babble trading cards*
I'd completely forgotten about it!
true, in the print options just uncheck "print grid lines"
You folks are full of good ideas!
just don't try it in word. thats not worth the hassle
:P on word
I couldn't get the hang of pagemaker. It's close enough to photoshop that I thought I could figure it out, but different enough that I couldn't!
word works fine :D
just make sure you make every image moveable ;)
word is always thinking it knows what you want when it doesn't and changing stuff on you
not when positioning pictures, it goes all wonky
it's a know-it-all program
I hate it when the programs try to be helpful!
lol... you guys need to train your word better, I can tell
yes! and while sometimes it works fine with pictures, the rest of the time it just drives you up teh wall
programs must do what we tell them and nothing more or less
my word is very well trained. as far as it can be LOL
It's a question of who's to be in charge!
And alas, I am not always a very firm master.
bad vi :)
lol. I just wimp out and go crying to hubby!
easiest :)
I mean, after all, I can't be a genius at everything.
FIREWORKS finally

Any other clues, hurshy? For the lost babbler?
ap 5/12 - when you snore you have sleep ap***
May I please have a clue for the "i"
it was a female... but that doesn't narrow it down much!
ty, Sandie
jellen, I have 2 of them only -- the pl of the copycat and the one who is more appropriate
You're the sort of witness the police would hate.

And it's not as if you don't watch law programmes.
ty, jilli
Hurshy, are you talking about me?
nope, not you either
Jee!!!
thanks sandie
Mom - im5 = to push forward

sandie, are you missing the lightweight boxer?
I also want to know what happened to Treble. I don't know Treble, but Treble has been shy of one million points way before most of us got there. I hope she is okay. Funny how you worry about people you don't even know.
Oh, didn't know there were more. Haven't looked at the stats list yet.
I hadn't got to the stage of looking up rankings, but if you hadn't, I would have. Are we sad?
cr 5/14, the first?
Haz - I was going to do that, too. :(
no - I've got the boxer. It's the other one I need - the first one.

Well, at least I'm over half way. Next goal, like stid's idea -- have the ramining unfound words fewer than my age (considering the latter, that shouldn't take too long)
nite lideola
bye stid
that's remaining...

re5/12 - to force back. King Canute was unsuccessful with the waves.

Uh oh...cat's acting like a lunatic and jumping all over the place, guess I'm meant to get her supper. Then I'll go to bed with grid unfinished, probably to dream of obscure words that might have been. 'Night folks.
praise, it's twists upwards
Bye, liz
Good night liz - hope you do manage to sleep well.
'Night, Liz.

Haz - Shall I post you my copy?
joanne - Oh dear. How awful.

No, it's okay, Jacula - you hold onto it. I tend to lend copies of books with my sister and sister-in-law so we'll all get value out of a new one.
hi all...clues please forthe LAST TWO re words...re5/10..and re6/18 please?
re5/10 - looking back in fashion

Yes, we are postless in UK....
Well, if you're sure, Jacula, that would be very kind!
pi4/7 please?
If you're sure, Haz. It'd be no trouble though. Yes, the post problems could be a problem. I'll use some other carrier, if necessary.
pi4/7 - one in control of prostitute.
...pe5/12...the LAST pe word
pe5/12 - a part of a flower
Have you got the others in the series, Haz? I've still got Love Over Scotland (2 copies!) and Espresso Tales in pa**back.

How are things Haz ? Long time no speak
Hello Aussie - I'm well, thanks. I imagine you're kept busy?
Oh yes, Georgia keeps me on my toes now she is walking everywhere.....
Has she passed the suicidal phase yet? It was always unnerving to be around a child who could find the most dangerous things to do...
Oh no, not yet, she tried to leap off the side of my bed yesterday while I was changing her nappy....
Making a bid for freedom?
the result : me clinging furiously to one of her legs as she dangled from the wrong side of t he bed....
It would have been the wrong time for the health visitor to call.
have a grand that does that tooAussie
Hi, all
or it would have been a kamikaze Georgia....

system crashed dorens, just came back up
oh... and was just at the time I came on. or in .. or whatever.
yep, good timing
can't stand when the red lines appear...
anyone have the ps 5?
ps5 -- add the first 2 letters of what propels a rowboat, then another vowel
Hi all, back to pick up last 5 words
thanks jilli... now i remember that from another grid long long ago
hi flosey -- I have 99 left ;)
dorens, there are variations on that theme, silly word (to me)
wow, I've been in and out, off and on
hi flosey... have 27 here.
just took Jeremy up to catch the float plane to Van.
Big puzzles aren't supposed to be full of obscure words
That should be a fun trip for him! What about Les?
Oh -- and what about the cello?
hah! the bigger the puzzle, the more obscure words there could be
Hepll stay with Les tonight and fly out very early Friday to Winnipeg where he as concerts Sat. and Sun
loaded everything onto the float plane Jill, SS Air was very obliging
When did Les leave SSI?
*He'll*
Doren--your name is in the grid!
Les went back to Van. Wed.
I know Scrabb-- does that automatically give me extra points??
I am not staying long, just dropping in briefly. I am exhausted and must go to bed soon.
hard day?
hey there, my stoopid internet provider thoughtfully kicked me out, and after 6 restars on my computer, has let me back in...
wb Aussie
the site was funky, aussie
Doren---you get a bonus of 1,000,000 points and fly to the top of the rankings. That will get the leaders ruffled---Sprite, Periwinkle, Marigold, etc
welcome back aussie
tyvm...
anyway, I was sorry to hear about your other child earlier...
Well, good that SSAir was obliging -- those planes are so small!
hahahaha scrabs.. that has me truly laughing out loud!
altho peri gets her name in a lot...maybe that's how she got to the top??
I had a sleep study last night and, well, it is hard to sleep hooked up to wires and gadgets, and get woken up at 5:12 AM.
thanks pam, I was in the middle of telling you that it was over 12 years ago, when the site went all funky on me....
there was only one other flyer jill, fortunately
Still, I can 't imagine... ((((((((hugs))))))))
get a good night tonite scrabs....
Hey, scrabs! Do you think they found apnea? CPAP in your future?
I see by scrolling back that the site crashed a wile ago -- I had noticed a glitch but was leaving anyway for a bit -- apparently stayed away just long enough
The original players, that have stayed with Babble, are the ones with high point totals.
SHHHHH pam! to the penalty box
thanks pam...
I hoe you are headache free, scrabs. Today was my first pain-free headache day in a week, or more...
pam!!! You said a wooord!
which one, skulking away i am
oh, that word...
sleep ap5
could I please have a clue for tr6
The tech saw some ap5 (I had to correct what I typed at first) and I have to wait for the full report in a week or so. I am hoping to find a solution to my sleep problems.
I can't even find it in the grid, after all that, LOL
hi all
hi feather
I hope so, scrabs!
Hi, feather
Pam--**fingers crossed**--I am doing OK with headaches. None for about 2 wks.
grrr, phantom of potato, just not enough t's...
I'd like a clure for the tr6/21 too please
hey feather..
so did you sleep much during it?
Hi featherbee--I saw a 10 lb newborn this AM at the hospital.
that is so excellent, scrabs! I have been putting in my night guard early, to help at least with the jaw,,,
owie!
I slept from 11-5:12 (when I was awoken). It was a room like a hotel room. Nice bed. TV with Dish Network. I fell asleep reading Harry Potter.
both my boys seem to have done growth spurts recently
that's good at least
They grow overnight, don't they, Feather?
got the tr6 -- take the last letter off the tr4/4 and add what you fry in
they must!
I am going to a baby shower Saturday and had fun buying clothes today.
boy or girl?
ah thanks Jill
flosey -- did you see?
It is their first and they want a surprise. It made the shopping much harder. I chose green and yellow stuff.
yes thanks
jilli that clue led me to trepot, which is not a word. what am i doing wrong?
oh yes, you did, lol
green and yellow always works, though
nick was at grandpa's first time today...now just wants mommy. he's going to explode with all the milk he's drinking
do you fry stuff in a pot, dorens? Or in a frying ***
Dorens, do you fry in a pot?
lol... good point there, thanks flosey
ah yes, my friend isn't finding out either
and thanks jilli
And the clothes will get stained with puke/food/poop eventually anyway.
lol

I could use the tr5 before that too
Jill add a cons. to previous word
ooer, tr6/21 means to cut out a shallow by using one of these !!
tr + it's not easy being gr***
thanks flo
In the office I got peed on by a 1 wk old baby boy--well, I blocked it with my hand when the hose turned on. The mother was horrified and I was laughing.

lol! poor mother
I could use clues for all the te words except the first one, lol
my daughter pooped in my hand when she was a week old, in the bath of all places. I think she was so relaxed, she let go her bowels....
I should get to bed. Tomorrow's kayaking adventure is taking us to Presque Isle off of Erie, Pennsylvania. It is actually a peninsula and we will paddle in the large bay between the peninsula and the Erie waterfront.
te**phone, jili and then change the last letter to a different vowel
te5 sounds like what you carry your wallet in
then te+ not ma and its plural
TE 4: TE + **TITUDE
Kids do that a lot, Aussieme. When kids are constipated we tell parents to put them in a tub of warm water.
next te 4: change last vowel
nick's first bath at a week was not relaxing...he was a tad scared
i carry my wallet in my pocket or my purse
It works a treat scrabb.... I do it for Georgia when she gets constipated....
te 4/5: te + first syllable of Pope address
ok, that's what te5/12 SOUNDS like
Guten Abend, Inge. Ich bin sehr mude. Wie geht es?

nite scrabs.. schlaffen gut
night night scrabs...
night scrab
te 5;12: is the third ecclesaistical hour in convents etc.
Gute Nacht, Scrabbler
te 4/4 is a bird, the next one add a vowel to the bird
night, scrabs
papal address?
nevermind...
or what an Italian child might call his DAD
that did it for all the te words -- thanks dorens & inge!
And sleep well, scrabs!
yw jili
