Ok it looked like yesterdays as the chat hasnt flipped over

G'night, true
excuse me whilst I go quietly kill myself again... f**king audacity!! babblebooks will be right up
what happened mrp?
I have been struggling all night.... and I mean ALL night with my editing tool. I didn't go to sleep until 5.30am I lost half my babblebooks stuff and nearly cried after all the editing I did
oh no!
how ghastly!
computers make life easier, but they sure can be annoying
thankfully, sprite did the written introduction to the show otherwise I might have just given up on it if she wasn't involved.
I have a coaster which says "To err is human, to really screw up you need a computer."
oh it was hell alright... darn stupid 'audacity' is a great editing tool, when it isn't crashing LOL jilli! too true
and of course, I did everything the hard way, before realising that it was dead simple.
I was shuffling around with 7 mp3's... trying to slot them into eachother... nearly died trying
all I had to to was copy/paste.... DUH!! :B
woohoo fireworks, and hello everyone!
Congrats, meliae!!

the pe6s aren't the most common in most areas, esp as far south as you are. Where'd you go to school, if i may ask?
mostly west coast sea birds... pigeion guillemots, puffins, pelicans
SF State University
hi all, I did too, ruru
would that be pe6/21? iwas brought up by the seaside in cornwall

that grandma was quite the swinger in the 1920s, divorced, her mother raised her kids, and she had a blast.
how u doing mva?
in her last years with the alzheimers, she talked about that period in her life a lot. What others in the family had shared was a small fraction of her antics :D
my grandma was a welder for battleships during the war.. she was one tough lady
working through ruru, got 30, never was one to rush!
that is soo cool dc
my mum worked on aircraft during the war
neat.
my one grandfather enlisted in the navy at 13, after forging his birth cert to show he was 16. Other grandfather was in the marines, and one grandmother sold war bonds to her schoolmates.
how did yall's mother/grandmother like their aeroplane/battleship work?
tthose were different days..and a real war at that
indeed so, ruru. so not at all like today.
I think it felt patriotic for her.
She was never afraid to take anything on
ruru, you familiar with Pink Martini? They're a band.
she used to make us laugh cos if we were watching a war film she'd remark on the accuracy of the planes used etc!!!
hmmm no... I could check them out
oh, that's neat, MVA
i think you may like, ruru. www.pinkmartini.com
she knew at that huh?
I will look into them DC
sounds interesting... what kind of music?
hm. Samba, and japanes, and greek, and hungarian, and tango, very multilingual, a lot of great songs from old movies in a variety of languages.
morning all! What happened to the other 3/4 of the words?
very danceable, pleasant to listen to.
morning, sprite! *hug*
hey dc! *hugs right back*
by danceable, i mean ballroom mostly.
oh cool I will like
though not classical mostly.
12 ace musicians, and a fabu vocalist.
a troll ate all the words today srpite
a very obnoxious one this afternoon...
LOL
don't let them get near my last 51 one!
wi 6/7 combo, pe6 and an lw, today.
I think called pleasework?
hi sprite!
hey MVA!
so, sprite, picking up on a recent thread, what did your parents/grandparents do through the war?
my grandparents on mother's side just lived through it as well as they could. My grandparents on father's side were very active in the resistance. They hid Jewish people from the nazis. One of them was Hannie Schaft, who is pretty 'famous' in Holland. My father, who was a kid then, got a bullet through his leg shortly before the liberation.
how noble of them.
they never saw it that way.
i'm sure not.
my grandmother yelled at nazis that came search their house. She told them to wipe their feet and behave - and that she was certain their mother had not taught them to be rude and pollute a house. Most were young kids and it worked miraculously well :)
hi all
hey JoSo! *hug*
hi joso!
huh. that's neat. Glad to hear there was some humanity through it all.
howdy, joso!
hi Sprite, *bear hug*, hi DC
oops hi mva tooo
war brings out the worst and the best in people. I hope I will never have to live through that, nor my children.
may that it be so for you, yours, and us all, sprite.
second that
amen to that
so, do i want the other pint of ice cream?
you do
of course you do
but to save you from that terrible faith, I will gladly sacrifice myself and eat it for you
today has been the day of calories. so be it. brb
o my... did I really write that? *terrible fate* You think I need coffee first and icecream later?
type of question that is an answer in and of itself, lol
i will join yo4/7 sacrifice sprite!
true, lol
you are welcome to it, MVA!
bak
share!
*passes the Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Chunk around the room*
owwwwwwww that is lovely!
wonderful!!
ohhhhhhhh is what i know you mean owwwwww usually indicates pain, at least in US usage.
unless, that was in 'ice cream headache'
well... it was very cold at my teeth that just came out of bed... that might explain it :) But thanks, will remember that!
an, not in.
from the streached belly full of too much ice cream
*futilely raging against not-valid re-words*
two REs only
plus an ro, the remaind are RUs
you have to agree that way too little... I can make at least 4
there are some others i think may be valid, but would have to look up to be sure.
in part because sometimes vocabs blend in my brain.
errrr dc... it is very sweet of you to tell me, but I do not use the list and I am not yet ready for clues like that... sorry to be unkind but would it be ok if you wait until I ask?
yeppres
don't want to be rude! I just like the struggle :)
i understand. :)
and fireworks!!!!
I am glad :)
cograts, MVA!
wtg MVA!
8.55am here now what am i to do??
that's a nice hour light-wise for a stroll, if the temp and weather permit.
go back to bed with a great book... take a walk in this lovely weather... do a sudoku... hug someone dear to you... take a long and luxurous shower...
i'll try a combination of all those ... see you at the flip! bye
bye MVA, enjoy! :)
bye, mva
i learned on thursday that the author of the book i'm reading right now livel down the street from me, and that i made his acquaintance at the block party on Saturday last.
*gets a funny image of MVA doing all of that at once*
that was rather an unexpected surprise.
LOL
oh dc, that is special!
it's a biography of Pierre l'Enfant and his planning of Washington, DC called "Grand Avenues". I've been enjoying it much.
Pierre Charles l'Enfant, specifically.
wow... sounds like a book that would be fun to discuss with the writer! I hope you will meet him again!
yes, it will be, esp since i'm a native here in the DC area, and he's from Minnesota originally. He teaches non-fiction literature and writing at George Mason University, the local commonwealth university.
sorry, commonwealth rather than state here in Virgnia, and in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Kentucky.
what is the difference?
( I realise this is probably a very stupid question, but I really do not know)
Commonwealths have unitary governments, like England, States have more decentralized governments, on the US model. VA, PA, MA, and NY were all Commonwealths of the British Crown in the colonial period, and KY was formed from VA. (Most people here don't know either, no biggie)
NY reorganised as a State back in the 18th century, following the New England model. NJ also uses the New England Town form of government.
that is interesting! Thanks :)
i'll stop now, as you did not as k for a lesson in US civics. ;)
lol, I am wrapping my brain around it right now. We tend to see the US as one big country. I sometimes wonder (in tv series and such) why it is always such a big issue in which state someone is prosecuted or hiding... but I begin to understand. Huge differences in how things are done.
I feel really silly for asking for help, but can someone help me with my last 2 words - both pe. Have a pe4/5?
candy, her anger was al pe4 up.
asking for help is never stupid, as far as I am concerned. I have the coin, but with another last vowel pe5/12
sprite, here on the east coast we have 23 very culturally and politically distinct states. Going west, form of government is a bit more uniform than in the east.
Have that one dc thanks
seabird, pe6?
I don't have other pe words yet, but will go looking.
did you see my clue for the coin?
Got the coin sprite
yay candy :)
Not good with the birds dc
seabird... seabird... now I am thinking penguin which is definitely wrong...
sprite, we learned that ruru and rolin studied seabirds at uni.
sprite, i can clue her more, if you don't mind.
wow, interesting subject :)
oh no, I do not mind :)
I have a fear of birds I am petrified of them!!
candy, pe6 - houshold pe*, othe syllable rhymes with churh b***
ohoh... childhood trauma from seeing Hitchcock's The Birds? That scared me out of my mind as a kid.
i have a scar on my left index finger from a friend's african grey.
seabird pe/ fuel ,Engish word for gasoline spelt with a different vowel towards the end
I was attacked by a hen in my fathers hen houses when I was 5. Now I hate all things bird related
i heard a remake of The Birds is coming soonish. Hollywood seems to've run out of ideas.
yes, Mummy, good clue, i forgot about that.
FIREWORKS
there it is, thanks dc and mummy
thanks for the clues
understandably, candy.
and wtg candy!
congrats, candy!
I can imagine that kind of fear, candy. Good our babble birds are nevermoving :)
the hitchcock ideas will never grow old.
oh, that was my last 6... got all the biggies :)
true, though will anyone else do them as well.
2 left, both wi's. any help so i can go back to bed, please :)
wtg, sprite!
We have an area in the local town where people feed the pigeons. I can't walk through
some could... there are quite a few real good thriller makers around at the moment.
wi6/7, mom?
start like the season, rhyme with bannister posts or window pane dividers.
those would be them, dc!
7 is plral.
that is not easy, candy. You must come across a lot of scary moments... birds are very common. Have you ever thought of therapy?
argh, talking about mixing up vowels... typed in 'built' 3 times and only then realised why it would not take. I think coffee might be in order.
easy to do that in the grid, sprite.
I even started wondering if it did exist with a T at the end, lol... before even considering I was seeing it wrong.
build, built is correct. :)
Yahoo! *F*I*R*W*O*R*K*S* so early! a record for moi! Tks, kids, and happy babbling. 'Til the morrow!
just not in this grid today.
candy, not sure if I overstep boundaries here, but there is a specific therapy that works very well for this kind of trauma. It is called EMDR, it is short term therapy and concentrates on the trauma itself. It does not require digging in the past or endless talks. If you want, google it and see if you could give it a go.
wtg mom!
congrats, mom, and pleasant dreams!
or you could ask your doctor about it... it is an official treatment, done by psychologists and psychotherapists.
sprite, i notice you seem to keep rather up on medical stuff, esp on the psyich side. Personal and/or professional interest, or coincidental, if i may ask?
personal experience, alas. I am going through a very rotten period in my life atm, trying to find my way back from total burnout, and learning to handle PTSS in a way that will allow me to be functional.
*hug* sorry to hear, but glad that you are working through it, tough as i know it be.
CLues for pe6, 21 please?
thanks for the hug :) I really need them, it is over a year ago that I finally collapsed and sometimes it is hard to keep believing one day things will be better. But as babble knows, I am not giving up ever. That is my strong point and my weakness ;)
hi xanika, it's a seabird
Xanika, see 3.14 and 3.16 am
ty dc and sprite
Fireworks! :-)
night all
congrats and good night Xanika
congrats, and pleasant dreams, xanika. :)
hello there :)
sigh. somehow, one of my coworkers accidentally replied all to everyone in our complex, resulting in annoying threads arriving. Sigh.
hey mrP! *hugS*
Hi, Mrp, how are you this fine evening?
hey guys and girls... I have PTSS after editing babblebooks!
some people never learn, dc ;)
not something to joke with, mrP, but I get the drift :P
i know, and even after 15 years in help desk, i still forget that sometimes.
help please....in5/12
my editing tool completely killed my enthusiasm ... I did hours of work and lost it all
at least you will get a good laugh every now and then, dc :)
not competent, clumsy, zTink
VERY true, sprite :)
poor mrP
was it the tool or did you forget to save?
oh, i'm so sorry to hear, mrp, here's hoping you got at least some of it saved?
or logged, at least.
it was audacity... it failed everytime I tried to save
oh that s*cks!
I got about 20 minutes up on babble books ... I was up ALL night... went to bed at 5.30am!!
thanks so much dc.. that's fireworks for m!
¡ay! how annoying!
Lickety is going to purchase an editing tool for me
well done, zTink@
! rather
that is really bad, mrP. You fanatic woman!
and wtg zTink! Congrats!
YES fireworks all on my own no list
oh, that was only last night! Then I spent 4 hours recovering files and getting babblebooks up finally 2 hours ago
save frequently and often is the mantra of we on the helpdesk, mrp, though i do acknowledge the tool was the issue there.
yes sprite! I was saying earlier that had you not done the intro for the site, I would have given up on it!
wow, quite the trooper mrp! :) impressive recovery from the adversity.
well done, diem!
errr darling, I know this is not the right moment to tell you...but next time please remember that A. you don't have to do it all by yourself and B. you don't have to do it the very same day...
yay diem :)
yay diem
did you like the intros?
and I admire your tenacity, mrP... but please be more kind to yourself next time, ok?
the intros were wonderful! thanks for that!!! I wanted to get the whole thing out by the end of the weekend but suffered with it all. I will not make the same mistake again of using that tool
sprite's right on the taking care of yourself and sharing the burden.
I recovered the book talk about women, men and boys sprite, so that is up
at about 1.30am, I had to take a walk around the block a couple of times to calm myself... otherwise I would have thrown the computer out the window
we have a saying in dutch about not asking the impossible of yourself: de lat te hoog leggen. It means putting the thing you need to jump over up too high and then demand of yourself that you jump it. I do that all the time and I AM learning to put it lower.
but, that is out of my system now! talking about it is all I needed to do :)) you are right sprite, the bar was very high!
glad that the walk helped, mrp
dearheart, we can always talk some more. That is never our problem, is it :) :) So please don't spend another night fighting for babblebooks. Let's enjoy it and keep it simple, ok? (((((((((((((mrP)))))))))))))
hey, been there done that, lol... takes one to know one. Love you to bits, mrP, and congrats on what you did get out of it!
Morning all - small grid doesn't mean easy I guess
can i have todays stats please and any biggies
((( sprite ))) thanks! :)
only 51 today, cool, 1x7 and 4x6.

yay sprite! :)
your
got it.
ty
same to you, cool girl ;P
sorry that was meant to go in my grid
i'm so not looking forward to time change. i hate standard time, i much prefer GMT-4. Barely worth changing for the 16 weeks.
i know cool girl, i'm being silly. i'm overtired and hopped up on sugar. :D meant no harm.
is it only 16 weeks for you?
we are just fooling around, cool girl, we like to tease :)
*recounts*
sorry, 19 weeks.
oh yes! we change to daylight saving soon!
no probs i love u all anyway
still not much. I think it is about 5 - 6 months here
luv ye right back, cool :)
when i worked for a company with office in AU, it was great fun keeping track of meeting times during your summer time, what with nearly every state having a time zone.
we have 5 months here
I think it should be at least 6 months
we change to normal time soon and I will be enjoying it very much. Eating when I am really hungry, getting up when rested, going to bed when real tired. But I hate springtime change!
yes, during summer, 4 states have different time zones
even in Europe it is tough, not all countries participate. England and Holland are an hour apart now. But keeping track of you guys overthere is impossible from here. I used a tool or I ask :D
we're 2nd sunday in March-1st Sunday in Nov on advanced time.
*use, not used
here, all but AZ, HI, PR, SK and part of BC participate.
lol, I should make a list of those abbrevs once... I never understand them.
where i live were gmt-4 or gmt-5, so 6 hours behind you, sprite.
az would be arizona, I think.
Morning all - Diem are you on?
diem already finished, mari
AriZona, HawaiI, Puerto Rico, SasKatchewan, British Columbia, sprite.
morning, mari
morning
Hey - you finished Bro?
dc: that is what I keep as a rule, 6 times before us. But with the timezones and the summertimes, I can be off hours :D
thanks, dc!
Mari did K get her dress? yep all on my own
Hawaii is 8 hours behind us here in DC, sprite.
i have the wi6 and the ru6 can i have clues 4 the other 2 please

AlasKa is 9 hours behind us in DC.

Had a fantastic day - wedding dress bought - mother of the bride outfit bought - father of the bride lying down in a dark room!!
Church calls - back later

howdy :)
howdy, hodag, wb
hi dcseain,ty
hi everyone
hi, andree
hey Andree
if any over you are aware of the incidental poem i wrote the other day in the log here, here's link to current draft, with links to prior drafts: http://community.livejournal.com/seain _scribbles/1769.html
'of you', not 'over'; sigh.
Hi dc, paints a vivid picture in the minds eye.
these little grids are always hard.....:( but,I won't give up.:)
hi fem
Hello hodag
sorry, power blip.
ty, FMitch. Is current draft stronger than where it started, in your opinion?
this grid goes fairly quickly hodag, despite appearances.
I saue am glad to hear that 8)
oops
dc, you have it down to the bare bones now, the essence of the scene. I would talke out the 'but' before not water and slightly change the punctuation from a rare tree but that is a personal thing.
clue pls for pe 6/21... thanks
tizer, it's a seabird
sort of like British word for gas, different vowel
The I would call it stronger and complete. Any more composing themselves in yr subconsiousness dc?
hm. removing the but would certainly be in line with the stylistic direcion it's going, and change punctuation how?
and yes, Fmitch, i'm prepping another revision of Samhain, and am getting ready to start Midwinter
ty fireworks
yay, tizer!
yhaoo tizer
Um was thinking something like:" A rare tree, branches pointing east," as it is unique in the landscape it stands out more that way?
ah, i had a comma before
thank you, fmitch, most helpful. You have good sense of working with the style, too. Do you edit for a living?
back for my last one :) is the pe6 a fishworthy word?
yay tizer
eh, not really, mrp, at least IMNSHO
yo merp...........:)
its a seabird mrp
Thanks dc, enjoyed that process and the poem too.
Morning all. Found 44 words in 12 minutes. What's the betting the final 7 will take 12 hours to find?
Must be off things to do and all that.
ciao, fmitch, hope ur day is lovely :)
moring, jac
no, jac, not that bad today.
great icon for the theme, jac!
dcs - I'll probably find them once I've oiled by brain with this big cup of tea I have by my side. ;)
see ya fm,have a good day..:)
hey jac 8)
Thanks, dcs, re the icon. I thought I might get here and find Sprite meant church fonts. LOL.
i chose a highway sign font
sprite seemed to care not, and to have meant text fonts, or at least we all took it that way, being wordies. :)
Hi, hodag.
if all goes well, i'l be home in an hour and a quarter, and in bed 20 min after that. i'm very wiped this AM.
must get the day going, fun chatting :)
later, hodag
I shall go and do some gardening in a while. Lovely day today and tender plants need taking into the greenhouse before the frosts come.
'Bye, hodag.
frosts, we may even get some of those this year, we shall see. Last winter, but for 14-20 Feb, we didn't even have cold.
Part of my day is blowing the leaves and the other part is a "hay ride",fall has come lol gone!
Yes, the climate's all topsy-turvy. I'd normally have got tender plants in at least a month ago.
I really enjoyed that video! thanks fran :)
trees here are barely changed, and only just starting to drop, even with the drought.
how many words today?
51
thanks!
FIREWORKS!:-)
wi6/7 combo, pe6, lu6, and ru6.
congrats!
yay, jacula! WOOO!
dcs - are you asking for clues for those?
fireworks here too!!! pretty easy grid today
no, i finished hours ago, that was meant to be informational. :)
Right, dcs. LOL. Too late for me!
Well done, Gu.
congrats, Gu!
Right. Tea's finished. Grid's finished. Time I went rootling among the pots and trays in the greenhouse, sweeping out mice and spiders etc.
have a good day Jacula
sounds like much fun, jac, enjoy!
Have a lovely day, everyone. Byeee.xx
morning everyone :-) (just!)
morning, katie! how goes?
good dc, now are you?
very tired, in my last 40 min at work, and i got up 2.5 hrs early to go to a birthday luncheon. : ) Well worth it, though i'm looking forward to sleep. Happily, it's Sunday, so i'll get home quickly.
that's good, you can get some decent sleep then :-)
Castard - a sugary bastard?
Her full name is Castard Bat!! She is known as Custard at the vets and for elder members of my family!!
LOL, i see, that makes sense. :), and near enough for the cat to know its name still.
She's the eldest and quite standoffish, goes through phases though, always more affectionate in the winter when we have to turn her to make sure she doesn't get bed sores because all she does is sleep all day.
yes, the lapwarmer, footwarmer function of cats in Winter is most lovely.
Franmag, what a great video. You outdid yourself
i'm off work at 7AM M, and report back at 7AM T, that's 24 hours apart, right?
same is true if i'm off at 7PM T and back at work 7PM W, no?
Yep why?
because looking at my calendar, it looked like less than that, then decided to do the math instead of depending on the graphic, and the mismatch of the data sources left me befuddled. Not that it's terribly easy to confuse me. :) Thank you for helping me clarify, as that lets me know the shape of my schedule for the early week. I'll have more downtime than i thought. Big happy! :D
how come you get a day thrown in and then back on nights?
i volunteered to cover a shift for someone who's on vacation.
i'll be doing the same on 1 Nov.
Ahhh that makes sense
i'm oft diurnal on my days off, so it won't be too big a deal.
Fireworks :-)
Fastest I've every done it, can't believe a small grid was quite so easy!!
Right off to decorate the study which means no babble until it's finished - that should focus the mind!!
congrats, katie, enjoy decorating! I'm off to do shift turnover and head home; until the morrow!
{poof}
Morning everyone

Yes I am montreal.

For some reason, I always envision Sundays as a day for 400+ grids. LOL
yay lori ! - got 44 ...
Go Fordy! Go montreal!
5 to go...
i also have 5 to go
You can do it!
which 5?
looking for those elusive P words - only have 1 so far...
i have two ORs and two WIs still to get
found one P - got 1 P, 2 S and a W

It's likely to incite some distrust from the pros, butt. Be warned, lol
thanks for the warning. I'm not too worried. If they don't have a sense of humor i don't want their help. It'll be different in a week anyway.
bp i have a good sense of humor but i prefer not to be nasty
There have been a lot of trolls around lately. I've been playing non-pro for months under this name and i still arouse suspicion when they are here.
Need the one more h. I have he 4/6, he5/14, 2-he4/5. Any clues for the last one?
Butt's fine, he's been playing a while and is on the rankings, so is not dubious *grin*
research shows that people are likely to laugh when they are embarrasses, therefore i challenge you to make us laugh without being nasty
ok. well i apologize here and now if i have been nasty to anyone or if you take offense to my sn. i'm serious. i like this game and the people here. so, as i said, my name will be different in a few days.
the game is definitely addictive
no need for apologies butt, enjoy the game.

someone needs to tell god or lickety no small puzzles on the weekends
don't ask me, he won't even come on the cast
Hi, nut and joanne.
its just issues with my son... and believe me when I say you cannot push a rope
'Nuff said, kat. Nothing is so difficult that can't be compounded by our children... I'd laugh at the irony, but it is not amusing, dear one.

Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! YAY!

Hi Minver
good evedning
hi, min
lu 6,21?
LW + 2 vowels in order
Coming your way--coming everyone's way--we all need it...
lw + German word for egg
apparently not kari..as it is 2 vowels... if u think about the rule of what comes after c.. reverse the rule ;)
or rather the letters..not the rule
The lu 6/21 word is plural of that lu 5/12 word bfsog.
pe 6 = european way of saying car fuel, change the second vowel
hmmm, thanks autumn...
carlee used a word to explain a nother word! he
thanks autumn.. that the one I was looking for
( its just my daily word drop inge...at least I am consistent )

Hi Inge. I am sewing a fleece jacket for my niece. I just finished a pair of sleepers for my nephew (he's 19 year old and 6 foot 4)
pardon me if I just don't get it
dont think i could handle any more... got home late.. had 3.5 hours of sleep.. hour of traveling for a job.. then back home.. no nap yet lol
I am finished! Took me a few tries to get the pe 6/21
well between German tourists (Tuesday) and DSO volunteer work (Friday) I barely get sudoku and babble in. Things slow down at my lage

yes, Carleekat, both jobs are interesting. Always something unexpected and new
Well, I best get back to sewing. Hopefully tomorrow's grid will be a LITTLE bigger (I like the 180 size)
nope...never heard of it... sorry.... and..wow... that is the first I have heard of anyone else using carleekat... it is the combination of 3 names..myself and 2 girlfriends
Maybe one of those girlsfriends?
nope... they know is me :D
I have had it as my e.mail address with otmail and yahoo..for 15 years now
well..at least 12 years...
later autumn... ejnjoy the sewing
Hi, all. Neighbor just dropped off some hot, fresh applesauce... we give one another food all the time... she got some potato pancakes in return. :-)
i bought some fresh apple cider today yummy :)
Hi, carra... nothing sweeter in the fall... mmmmmm
yum... applesauce... the BEST night time snack is grilled applesauce sandwich ( just like grilled cheese..but substitue apple sauce for cheese) tastes
not quite like hot apple pie...but close second... kids LOVE it
Kat, I never heard of that.. grilled peanut butter, yep... but that is so good sounding!
add a dash of cinnamon...fresh thinly sliced bread...and real butter...
Wow... beloved would really like that! He had his favorite baked ham and potato pancakes for this day's dinner... Of course real butter... there is no substitute in the world for it... Gosh, that sounds good..
Have you been cooking much lately, or is the road to London wearing you completely out, dear Kat?
well.....give beloved a bed time treat...( make 2, once you have a bite, you'll want one too )
:-) I bow to the food goddess of Canada and I will try it, promise!
I am as we speak heating up a can of campbells clam chowder...not much cooking at my end... tomorrow, work, then girl guides..then hockey after that...tuesday... chase apperwork..wed..work then london until thurs nite ( which ends with a hockey game then dash back home to bed )
I've been snacking on some sour cream pringles witha club soda while I wait on the soup
I am exhausted reading your schedule, kattie... are you just running on fumes right now? I used a pile of sour cream with my potato pancakes... family likes applesauce and/or ketchup... (don't barf)
I eat well when I am in london..my father feeds me well
Club soda is a big favorite here, too. I used to buy limes and lemons... but, since they started costing $1.68 for TWO, I forego the pleasure.
I can't wait to hear about this "reunion" of sorts, kat... talk about providence...
Gee, Scarlet, now you make me want to serve potato pancakes tomorrow night.
did u by chance post your meat ball soup yet?... ( and I buy lime rickey to add to my club soda)
ok..now red needs to post the soup and the pancakes...
LOL, inge... I learned from an Austrian Aunt Maria how to make the good ones.
Did Maria star in the Sound of Music?
help with ro plz
No, kat. I need a space of at least two hours to sit down and write it out for flosey and you... flosey has been so patient... and everytime I think I can start it's the phone, a family incident of something... No, LOL, inge... her name was Maria Silke...
its what you make white sauce...or a soup thickener... from... hot butter and flour
ro + two vowels, the fifth and the second
have that 1, anymore?
how is the family doing?...everything staus quo?...or better?...
I dont think karisma is into cooking yet
kat... I think it's a flirty man who is underhanded... you might be thinking of what ends in an X.
bet
/ i made pot roast and mashed oday
ok..is a homonym for the flour and butter soup thickener
i have that 1
that the only ro word kari
oh jees
Long saga, kat... it's okay... not worse, not much better. Daughter decided to try to get her degree... I can smile about that.
no more ro words after that
aha, duh me
HI
change sucks red...
Lady, how are you?

Thank you, inge. Beloved was asking the other day and I haven't made it in 30 years. Aunt Maria taught me that one too... but she is gone, and I never wrote it down.
Carlee how is your hubby going

When I did it up I will let you know.

What I do remember is the marinating for three days, the red cabbage and mashed garlic potatoes with it... and loads of rich gravy. Thank you so much, inge.
hubby was miserable...and argumentative...he is ticked with the world.
merro
sounds like mine
twins?
he was up and standing in his room today ( they have bars along the walls for that very reason )
Urf, kat.. just what you were expecting. No, grannymaxxx was on briefly the other day, and let me know she was here, Lady... but she seems to want to stay a bit withdrawn... maybe she's parsing out her strength...
i havent had mashed potatoes in ages
Carlee how is 'stupid' going'
Everyday she is in our prays and thoughts even if she is hiding.
stupid is still stupid... but "im with stupid " is wiggling more each day
SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE TO GRANNY * WE MISS YOU!!!*
When I was in college, my Mom would not visit unless we let her cook. I lived in a coop dorm where 3 students cooked for two weeks for all 28 inhabitants. Mom sent a gallon of the marinade from Danbury CT per bus. Then followed 3 days later to finish the task. It was exame week in January 1958
Wow Carlee that is fantastic. Never say never is a great saying
i live in fairfield ct :)
( even canned clam chowder is not really bad clam chowder )
What a wonderful mother, inge... the marinade was for the sauerbrauten?
Inge that is fantastic
kat, when you're hungry, Alpo would taste good...
yes..it is good... but his thumb is causing alot of pain and problems... ( ok..what is saurbrauten.... no german anything in my heritage)
makes me wish I sitll could eat meat...
( i draw the line at alpo red... I think I would make microwave popcorn LONG before alpo )
Hi Pam
( or instant stinky noodles... or even hamburger helper )
still not getting the er5 =(
hi, herin
This is insane i should still be in bed not drinking a liter of coffee to stay up
I think I may need to pour some wine...
what time herin?
It's the gift of the gods, kat... marinate pot roast with some clove, onion, vinegar, peppercorns and bay leaf... for starters, in the fridge for three or four days and slow, stove cooked in a black pot for three to four hours....
Sauerbraten is a beef roast marinated in vinegar based marinade. Sorry, girls, I dont know the recipe by heart. Will do catch up this week. Not before the Red Sox win
nvm
yay
fireworks!
<passing out the home made high test chianti >
GO SOX!

Rockin Sox, gang!! Wow, some real Boston fans!!
ciao!
bravo carra
Yes, inge, I have a good memory for ingredients, it's the proportions that give me problems...
When I made Roast Beef, I marinated with Apples, onions, carrots, apple juice, and soy... Should have used some vinegar...
hi all
i'm not much of a bruin's fan am afraid..penguins.... yes...bruins no...
yes, carra, I was born in Danbury, at 20 months of age went to Germany, returned for High School and college, then grad work in Germany and Chicago
Hi Time Its only 935am but when he is sick i dont sleep well.
when I do pot roast..it gets a 1/2 bottle of red wine... like my turkey gets a whole bottle of white wine 24 hours before roasting
i

A GAME SEVEN!! Yippee!

and who is playing?
'Tween the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians... yes, J.D. DRew, kat
ok... well...go bosox then
Drew hit a grand slam yesterday...
REd Sox vs Cleveland Indians, 7th game determines who will go agaisnt the NBL winner,
Whoever wins tonight, goes to the World Series against the Colorado Rockies!
and....we are cheering for....boston red sox
i think i cheer for the red sox

LOLOL, nut

hi evan
hiya tim
ummm... trust me..on baseball...clueless...
ok...on this note...will run... cu tomorrow all..enjoy the game
is six weeks too young to be taken from it's mother
Good night, all. Think Beantown!
Night Scarlet
Yes, tim. Youngest should be 8 weeks, ideally 10
Tim is the dog fully weaned and on solids?
i thought so
poor thing is trembling all the time
the dog is on solids though
6 weeks is too young to be weaned. that stinks. Backyard breeders/irresponsible breeders are the bane of my existence.
i had no part in it
Tim--can you put a hot water bottle in the crate/bed with the puppy?
would one of those warmable bean bags help?
Oh, tim , i am not accusing/blaming you. Or your kids' dad. Whoever gave/sold them the pup and let it go at this young age is the person I hold accountable
Yes, or an electric blnaket on LOW, tim. Sometimes a ticking clock that isn't too loud helps, too
all the same i would have asked the question first had i been in on the whole process
give the little guy a ticking clock and a heat pad
Tim stuff the dog down your top. No joke. My b.fs mums pup was trembling and i put him down my top and he was happy
he is okay when we are holding him with a blanket
Yes, close to the heart, infern.
yes right on our chest
At around 8-10 weeks is a good time, as they are fit to travel and ready for their new lives.
I know you would have, Tim. You seem that caring type. It just broils my bum when pups are weaned too soon
Oh and dont smell of heavy perfume/deodorant they dont like it
It is great if you can all hold him like that, tim. But, the hot water bottle/heating pad/electric blanket will help.
yeah when we are not here or asleep
Was the puppy bought from a breeder or a store?
a breeder a farm apparently
he still smells like a barn:)
but let him get used to the place for awhile before we bathe him
grrrr slaps them upside the head. At that age the dog needs litter mates to tell him/her what is what
true, infern. backyard breeders should all be slapped upside the head
the kids father lives in london they go there every other weekend this weekend they came back witht the dog
this is thier first pet
my daughter is alergic to most animals
Tim just love that puppy teach him manners. My kitten was so little when we found her she had to learn about manners. Biting me results in biting her. She is growning into a lovely but aloof cat
scnauzers are like poodles in that they have hair not fur, I think. so i hope this works out for your daughter.
so far so good
When your pup nips, yelp like a pup, tim. I think there are good links on line for raising a pup weened too soon
the deed is done now so all we can do is love him as much as possible:)
I think if you contact a breeder they may be able to help.
he doesn't nip yet or even bark
we have friends with small dogs i wonder if it would be helpful for him to spend some time with them
Tim get all his injections first (if they can at that age) to play with others if not make sure the other dogs are 'clean'
YES, that is a great idea, tim. socializing with pups will be a great thing, but make sure the pup is fully vetted first
he has two week to wait for his shots
Once that is done, have him socialize. Your kids are good socializers for him, too.
I want to hug the puppy and smell puppy
i love puppy smell
hehe well he smells like a barn right now
Tim that says to me that the dog was too young to leave.
yeah:(
But you have it now so what is its name?
CeeJay
it only drinks bottled water
just like my kids
he i shouls say
is that a boy or a girl? Pet it and snorgle it and take lots of pics.
boy
i can see my daughterputting those sweaters on him
she is an interior design major
Oh do you wanna here a cute way to make jumpers for puppies?
?
Get a sock, cut off toe bit cut out 4 leg holes and there is a jumper
we have many odd socks that would fit the boill

you see the word will, it didn't belong in there
herin, go to tinyurl.com and type in thte long url.
i dunno, she rhymes a lot of words like nose, toes, knows
thanks
Herin - you google tinyurl, then go onto the site and paste in the long url, then it turns it into a short url.
but i don't really know the words inbetween
cept its driving me up the danged wall
how am i supposed to buy it if they never say who she is on the radio
http://tinyurl.com/27gzfn is that better
Nut - all I can suggest is that you post yourself humming it on babblecast and we can try guessing what it is.
is it the one we were meant to be together
Clue pe 6.21 pls?
I did it
i dunno...lemme try looking that line up tim
Pe 6 is a bird
Herin - much better! (And now you kow how to use tinyurl:))

No one has ever told me how to use tinyurl
LOL, herin.
um any lyrics
i told you, she rhymes a bunch of words like nose, toes, knows, and finishes up with wherever, wherever, wherever you go
i never even heard of it till now
I've already suggested nut hum the lyrics via Babblecast.
well if that is the one it is shakira
Its not SHakira is it?
It's a useful tool, tim.
nut can't carry a tune
Nut can surely hum in tune?
i dunno fernallady, doesn't sound like typical shakira, its like laidback and stuff
hehe herin
http://tinyurl.com/2h5mw3

oy jacula! i bet its close
I just made that up, nut.
i wonder if she is becoming a polital activist
pushes Evan off the gang plank thats stuck in my frecken head now
maybe you needs to write lyrics
i think it is called dear mr president
Tim is that Dear Mr President with Indigo Girls
hey, if you had found the right song it wouldn't have happened fernallady
Nut - I do, but for parody songs.
Evan call the radio station maybe?
Oh no... dear Mr. President... now I can hear Marilyn Munroe singing Happy Birthday.
no way i'm calling the radio station, and i can't find a play list on their website
lol
Nut - if it was on the radio and they are on-line with a playback or past playlist facility...
Evan what is the radio site?
someone sent me a u tube thing of it
i quit...i can't buy her song then its her fault not mine
Oh, I see you've tried that.
Fecking great its up and being obnoxious. nearly a week of this if i seam snippy thats why
screw the song, its not worth this aggravation, the song can rot with davey's locker as far as i'm concerned
i sit okay to post urls here
Oh dear, nut. Take some deep breaths, me dear.
You, too, Herin.
Ok my housemate is annoying me enough to find some $$$ and run off to the gym for peace and quite
Tim - Yes, it's okay to post urls here.
hello all and what's up with the tiny grid? LOL
Herin - put your headphones on.
Hi, Gwen. Well, it's a Sunday grid. They always seem to be tiny.

Down to just one word. I saw a clue for pe 6,21 a minute ago - sea bird, but we're in Indiana, we don't have many of those. Any other clues?
i tried tiny url
Didn't work for you, tim.
i guess not
it said that the url was 89
jan, household anuimal (3 leters) + first three letters of someone who just got fireworks
Jan - the pe6 bird sounds like British word for vehicle fuel.
and it said it reduced it to 25
what's the song? is it a monkey song?
Hang on, Tim. I'll try it.
it is pink
Oooooo, thank you! Got it! F*I*R*E*W*O*R*K*

i thought it was different from her other stuff but i haven't seen anything about her lately
only two er words: one means mistake, the other one is the verb for being wrong,
2/3 done woo hoo!
Yes it is different but its a good different
three pe words; most likely you need the one that is like the British word for gasoline, with second vowel diff

Hello Jacula! Thank you for the welcome.Just popped in to see if clues were needed. Looks like all are done
Night Babblers, see you soon.

Goodbye relarion! I will see you tomorrow in the chat
Min - looks like most are watching sport on TV.
poo i was going to tell them that the new Sims game Bon Voyage has a pirate ship in it
tepnib is a word, isn't it? LOL
hi min
I'm done, Gwen. I only came in here (about an hour ago) to check the icon theme for Monday. LOL.
hi book
Gwen - Yes, of course tepnib is a word. It refers to a slightly warmed pen nib. This is done in order to make the ink flow more smoothly. LOL
back from my wandering... at least I am half done, LOL
Hello timhorton! How are you doing? Did you finish yet
hi, gwen and congrats finishers...

howdee pam
jacula, of COURSE!!!! LOL
ciao, herin
Oh, okay, herin. Byeee.
Bye herinfernallady! I'll see you tomorrow in the chog
i didn't i have 16left
Hello again, pam.
Hi Book Doctor Gwen! How are you? Welcome to grid!
i was a bout 1/2 way last night and i have been here for about an hr
i'm blind -- just found the idenitcal babies
thanks, gwen, as I never saw them!
i am not reaLLY paying alot of attention to the grid
My arms and shoulders ache! We have been harvesting pears from our little orchard today, and the last of the plums. Then we did radical pruning and had to saw and chop all the branches up to put in the recycling bin. Shame we can't have a bonfire!
firewords for me!!
this puppy is distracting
Sounds like a good day, jac!
whoooo hooooo GWEN
That one half of an identical two is followed by some strong string.
YAY, gwen!
Hi everyone! ooooh, a puppy!
strong enough to catch me a fish, LOL
hi, lbd
jacula, why no bonfire? local laws?
You got it, pam!
Hi Pam, how's your head tonight?
yes LB the kids brought it home this weekend
sorry hi lb
what kind? boy or girl? how old?
Gwen - No, we could have a bonfire after 6pm according to local laws but all this Health & Safety stuff that's currently swamping UK may well have armed police bursting through our doors if one person complains about the smoke. Many of us in UK are fed up to the back teeth of the 'Nanny State@.
gadzooks -- you got fascists running your country too? (joking, only sorta)
6 weeks boy miniature snauzer name is CeeJay
that's what you get when you elect The Master as prime minister LOL
LOL. Well, we have a shrub for a president
Some people are so fed up of the current situation in UK that they are leaving the country. Mike Oldfield, (Tubular Bells musician) for instance. He lives in the next county to me and his Tudor mansion is now up for sale at £3.5 million. Lovely place! He's off to Spain where you can smoke where you like.
ohhh, a wee little furball. 6 weeks is a bit early to be taken from his mommy
Gwen - I did NOT elect that party or that man.
yeah i know wasn't my idea
hmmm, we didn't elect the Current Resident, either
well, you have your work cut out for you. surrogate mommy.
I once sold a Mike Oldfield book for a nice chunk of money 8-)
Who puts these power-crazed morons in charge of countries? Other morons?
Corrupt morons who take bribes and stuff.
Gwen - So, I guess you have a soft spot for Mr. Oldfield then?
Well, and the morons who can't be bothered to vote...
Our chief moron seems to think he can circumvent our constitution by interpreting it HIS way and not the way it reads.
our current disaster of a gubmint was foisted on us through multiple shenanigans
hehe
pam - don't start me off on the subject of people who don't bother to vote...
did you see that video i posted
jacula, no, i have a soft spot for nice, pricy books i can sell LOL
He can't read, lbd....
no, Tim. is it in your bio?
Last word - er - have the mistake one - help please
the head of canada ain't much better, from what i've heard
LOL
OK, jac, we won't go there--to the non-voter land--tonight
hi everyone
hi, ping
PING!
hi ping
habes, one who commits an er5: he or she er4 (present tense)
hi pam, dawg, and tim!
Hi, ping.
some of the non-voters that i've tried to talk into voting really *are* so dumb that you don't really want them to vote!
habes - both er words concern mistakes.
hi jac!
but democracy requires the dumb to vote, so to speak
no, democracy allows the dumb to vote.
brb
it just requires that they have the right, LOL
Gwen - I know what you mean re the non-voters. One sometimes wonders if they should be allowed to breed also. However, that gets into something like Hitler's plan and that was NOT good.
Thanks - first time for fireworks - with much help
yay, habes
i was just talking to a guy who's working for the Mike Gravel campaign. Gravel is running 9th out of 9 right now but I think he would make a fantastic president -- so liberal he would run the risk of getting shot, if you know what i mean
i swaer i have tried that lw word a thousand ways
Maybe someday I'll finish all by myself...probably not:) Thanks again!
tim, lw + a vowel + a different vowel
wtg habes
oh my gosh no worder there is more than one lw in the puzzle
i love gravel bdg - and i talk to a lot of people who say the same thing, and i'm voting for him
hmmm, not a very good clue. too many vowels up in that corner
is there more than 1 lw?
i was looking the wrong way
evanonut! good for you. i'm voting for dennis but if he drops out then it's gravel
lw4/8 - Angolan currency.
Actually, tim, there were 2 lw words in last grid, or grid before last. law4 & its plural. LOL
the lw4 rhymes with that hawaiian necklace made out of flowers
I can't comment on US politics.
what i mean is i was looking at the lw in the lower right
law? The 'a' shouldn't have been there.
le4/5 and 5/12 come from going downwards from that 'l'
i got it thanks
jacula, they be messed up. we're locked into a 2-party system that kills everything. we allow private financing so the most monoey wins over the better candidate too often. i could go on . . .
nut agrees with book
8-D
Gwen - To be honest, I don't think the situation is very different here in UK.
seems there are folks in every country trying to get up a stealth fascist gubmint. Yuck!
However, I'm breaking my general rule for life here. My general rule is? 'Never talk politics or religion with friends.'
jacula, or sex? LOL
friends? where?? he he he
lololol, nut
good idea jac
Anyway, with 2 kids in the house - one with a master degree in history and politics, and one in her first year of studying same... we have lots of discussions. LOL
sex talk seems safe enough
lol
"No one goes without health care in America. After all, you just go to an emergency room." -- Torturer in Chief
NUTTY!
lol book
except ping you never know who is lurking in the shadows
hi nutster
obviously, he's never had to sit in an er - DAWGGY!
pingster too
Sex? Well... back in the 80s there was an unofficial version of the game Trivial Pursuit. It was called 'Sexual Trivia'. We once played this with our best friends (another couple). You only have to answer questions, or give truthful opinions but it was a) a bit embarrassing and b) kinda awkward.
(comes out of lurky shadows...) hey all!
congress gets "cadillac" medical care while 50 million Merikins have none
Nor has he ever had to pay for his medical procedures!
Hi Krista
Nut - I do have friends! LOL
hi krista
i was so angry to hear the news spend days reporting on the Resident's colon polyps while 50 million Merikins have no health care
you know they just just allowed his veto of CHIP programs to stand...
Hi, Krista. I dunno! The conversation turns to sex and out you come. *grins*
and of COURSE the Resident has polyps. if you lie down with dogs . . .
OUCH..you know me too well, Jac!
:)
*Grins at Krista.*
7 billion per year is too much to pay for children's health??? That's one week of this friggin war!
Erm... anyone need any grid clues before the windows get all steamed up?
hasn't stopped agreeing with book yet
'preciate it, nut. now i'm off to eat my very late dinner. Chow all.
Steamed up with political indignation, that is, not sex. LOL
chow
He admitted before he was "elected" that he has no concept of how to relate to poor people.
Enjoy your meal, Gwen.
bow wow wow
But I will stop now. Enjoy, Gwen!

Had to, nut - she had hare nose up my ar*se.

I'll take Ren's piece
Chocolate, in quantity, can actually kill dogs.
i told these kids point blank never to feed this dog human food or it will not live as long
fireworks

now nut's sniffing
Krista - hahahaha.
MrP was here about UK lunchtime.
different kinda sniff there sis
darnit all to heck
maybe she and lickety are having a date?
well, i think i could at least rate higher than lickety
lbd - Sometimes the humour may read as horribe between Rennie and me. Thing is, since I am Jacula (female queen of the night) and she is Renfield (the vampire's servant... which is why she calls me 'Mistress)... you get my drift?
I hope neither of the kids are sick.
Hello Jellen! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid!
I'm sure everything's fine in the Lickety household. Maybe they're just having some family time off.
pfffffft, what's family to me?
Hi, Min
Time off IS 'allowed', you know!
the last o pls
i don't know what you're talking about jac, who wouldn't want to talk to me as much as they possibly could?
Well, if you do paperwork in triplicate asking for permission, it is. LOL
or 5/10 word is plural of the or 4/4 word clubfan995.
plural of the second, cubfan
i mean...i'm like practically famous
cubfan, plural the one above it.
cubfan - last 'o' is the plural of the one before it.

nut - i ws reading back on your song quest - was it colbie caillat's bubbly?
*Sticks a pin in Nut's head to deflate it.*

Nut, you are INFAMOUS
i dont know i have 1 left either 4 or 5 letters
There are 8, Min.

There are 8 r words. Thank you Jacula. I miscounted.
ren figured it out
ro4/5 I was talking about = French word for 'road' + vowel.

You're sounding extra Jewish, Ren! What's up?
i recommend the song, nice and calm
i found nut's song!!!
Just nipping back to the 'shrub' who leads USa at present subject... can't relate to poor people? That explains Philly floods aftermath then. They're still not sorted, I believe?

Is that the feel it in my nose then down to my toes-ish song??
Heck, Krista! You're right! I've made that mistake 3 times now. WHY do I keep thinking it's Philly?
yeah, got it Ren. Thanks.
Not sure, Jac, but I'm sure you know a lot more about here then we know about the rest of the world.
Hi Phan, pe6, pe+ first three letters of plant that grows tall and we use it for xmas decoration + stick
actually Jacula it is Rue...
hi all!
the ro 4/5 is a cooking term
be5= Big Band leader Goodman, different last letter.
hi stid
hey stid - hery ruru
thanks, for clue, lbd
goodclue jellen... where's your picture?
pe6/21 is like the European word for gas,but change second vowel Krista.
Hi Stid! wi6/7 combo is not lose + not big but lit***
Hi ren, stid and Minerv
hi Ru
Krista - you may be right but is that down to your news sources and bias of those or you all being focussed on your own country? Not asking this to be insulted; it's something I would like to know. I guess, from what you posted that it's down to you only being told about certain things?
oh for a V in place of the S, then I could have velour, and a picture of The King on velvet, and ... LOL
thank you very much now I am done. I can clue for a bit.
thanks, Ms. Min
YAY phand!

Good for your Saanichcat
whooo hooooo SAAN
rennies been helping me out a bit
So, no one needs any clues right n ow?
I forgot to mention earlier, when I was typing about us being in the orchard (tiny orchard) that my Beloved, at the age of 38 and three quarters, went 'scrumping'. He knicked 5 apples off our neighbours' tree.
I think it's both, Jac. The TV news has so little international news on it, that we watch BBC world every night! But it is sad how little the average American knows about other countries..Do you know who Jay Leno is? He does a thing on his program called "Jay Walking" where he will ask people on the street things like "who is the vice president" and "where is Mexico" and people can't answer (sorry this was so long..stepping off soap box)
Such a waste over the fence! They have 2 apple trees and a pear tree and just leave all the fruit to rot.
i gotta say this...da squirrels took all of our pears!~!
oh what a sad thing, to waste good produce... We eat what we can get before the deer "scrump" it!
never say!!!! GREST
scrumping...oooh...sounds like something else
stid - We grab all the growing stuff we can!
Well, I guess I will go now then; Good night
sweet dreams phand!
see that nut! the squirrels took the pears!
night phand
niters ph
Hi Stid..think it would be heavenly to watch the deer graze..or is it a pain when they get into things?
night Phan
"scrump(ing)" is one of the finest words I have heard for ages! Thank you for that!
Sad thing here last year was that visitors to the local 'country park' were asked NOT to pick the mushrooms but to 'leave them for others to see and enjoy'. Mushrooms last, like, 2 days? *sigh*
my steelers are losing....*sniffle*
it's a squirrel conspiracy! *looks around in fear*
saanicat - Yes, scrumping is a great word.
i have new evidence to present, if i ever get another cast up that is
I have seen that segment on Leno and it is sad and not too funny Krista
well, the orchard is not in viewing sight, and they are rather indiscriminate in what they eat! Deer are pretty in moderation. Unfortunately, -they- don't know the meaning of the word!
Krista - Yes. I know who Jay Leno is and I've seen some of his stuff.
My 9'ers got crunched today.evan... at least you have a good team
i only have 2 l's left 1 4ltr and 5ltr
IF???? whattaya mean "if" *worried mama look*
thanks, jacula
I am down to 21, and considering grabbing the list. Though this isn't a bad grid for being so small
i'm having recording problems, i need to get it sorted out
i'm gonna find some of those pears - they sit on the fence and munch munch munch on those pears and even eat the cores
its the problem that makes it sound like we are talking over each other
lwine
oh ren....we could put a stick of dynomite in a pear...booby trap!
oh. Yes, that is very unfortunate and confusing....
you're right, ruru...very sad!
not quite, cubfan!
cubfan, do you have the le's? There's a 4 and a 5
There's a whole load of stuff on'Youtube' called 'Stupid Americans', the most funny (not to you from US though, I would think) having been set up by Austrlian TV. I'm sure they go to the places where they can handpick the most stupid people and then edit the films to show what they want to show.
like the Jim Le** report
The Australian one was v. funny though! Sorry!
hello
hi harp!
howdy harp
Hi, harp
You're very kind, Jacula (saying that they edit us :) I'll have to check those out!
hey harp!
is Lwine like... lovewine?
Howdy Harp
Hi, harp.
we did it!
hahahah ru
probably didn't require much editing
(that's what I was thinking, nut!) *readjusts aluminum hat*
probably didn;t - probably filmed at billy bob jump back's catfish kitchen
YAY! two gray columns on the right!
lol
I agree, nut! I'm a Girl Scout leader and I was pretty appalled at what the girls didn't know when we did a world leaders unit.
go stid go.
well, i know the answers, they shoulda asked me
hi Harp
bet they knew their cookies inside out
speaking as a tired mother of two, I admit I don't follow international news like I should. I have given up trying to decide who the leaders of nations that have regular coups are...
But they're only kids..it's the adults that are scary. LOL, ruru..not really, though!
i like the red neck guy that's being an @ss on purpose and saying cali, and florida are in the axis of evil.
But at least I know the "major players" in my own national and local politics! something that sadly too many people in my country do not.
they sure know them well around these parts
Yeah, Stid, but you at least have heard of the countries. :)
No not all of California... only Berkeley...lol
stid, stick in with your ethics
Cookies or politicians, ruru?
probably. Can't avoid it with a map-genius in the family! (one of my kids went to the state geography bee when we were homeschooling) *proud mama look*
i dunno, i think lopping of california and florida would be beneficial (covers head)
politicians and the axis of evil aroudn Berkeley
I'd love for my daughter to do that, Stid, but she will have none of it.
then what would you eat ..corn?
* lops pennsylvania and looks around to see if anyone notices*
lol
let's lop off Washington dc. and start fresh
*snaps off the entire west coast*
There. three gray columns and down to TEN!
ewwwwwwwwwww
It's gonna fall off eventually, anyway. :)~
I can't find the link on my favourites to the film right now, but one the Aussies set up put a countryu flag in Australia on the world map each time (but changed the name of the country to Iraq, Italy, England, whatever) and asked US citizens if they believed the country should be bombed and why.
*eats hurshy before tossing the rest of PA to the squirrels*
now that is funny
hm. that should have read "eats hurshey" as in chocolate city!
watchit stid or i'll organize those squirrels against you, all they need is my superior intelligent leadership
I am sure Hurshy will be offended
hershey stid hershey
you mean hershey?
FOUR gray columns!
*blush* thanks ren... and nut! so much for spelling. Can I claim maternal dementia?
Ruru knocks off last grey column for stid
stupid american maybe
LOL thanks ruru!
I just hope Hursh doesn't arrive here now! I would have said, 'I hope he doesn't come' but, welll... I'm in shock. LOL
omg jac, you didn't just!
she did!
Is this Babble or the Donner Party?
that's my cue to leave
Meant she not he.
g'night folks
What did I say??
Donner...party of 30...
LOL nut, you're silly... and correct. Stupid american describes me well enough!
niters nut!
nite ev
sweet dreams, nutty!
night evan
nighters nutty
Nighty nite
hi tim!
down to five...
and listless (and clueless so far, I add)
Erm... Have you lot taken offence over the 'stupid American' stuff? If so., no reason to. I did say the tapes were obviously rigged.
**Go Stid**
three left
hi stid
not me - we see it in real life everyday!
Go, stid, go
ONE to go!!!!!
me too i have 3 left
Well.. we could start with the president//
Of course, all we Brits wear bowler hats, carry rolled up umbrellas and say 'Jolly hockey sticks!' and 'How spiffing!' all the time. LOL
and it's a four letter fish.... *looking*
go tim go!
and... she was all higggeldy piggeldy
hm. how many total points please?
Go, th!
No offense, here. We all need to laugh at ourselves. God knows I get a lot of practice.
516 points
thanks jellen! *does math and decides I need a two-point letter*
lol
You mean you don't say Pip Pip Cheerio?
I eat Cheerios though
Glad to hear no offence taken because none wwas meant.
Krista - erm... not often. LOL
My husband's English, I'm allowed to "take the pi**." :)
two letters stid try "we"
Toodlepip is more like it. *grins* Love all that old RAF WWII speak.
nope ruru, not even close!
lol
*grin*
What ho! chaps! Everyone nearly done?
My son is crying because he can't have a real laser. Sigh.
Hoorah!
Krista - LOL
oh krista, how sad... would he settle for a lolly that looks like a lightsaber? It worked for my kids...
bbl got to cook din din... see you at the flip... Jellen you need an icon by then
bye ruru!
good luck stid..
okay, how many re and ro please?
1 ro and 2 re
thanks ruru!
*Wonders if Krista should try 'tough love' and hire a laser to run round son's room and chop all the heads off his favourite soft toys and/or chop all his games in half. Thinks again. 'No! Too cruel a lesson.'
that was it!!!! :-)
yeah yeah stid!!!
yyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh stid
yeah stid:)
thanks so much ruru!
That's what I thought he meant, Stid, but he just clarified. He wants a laser beam alarm across his bedroom door (whatever that is called) so no one will get hurt in his messy room!
Well done, stid.
Yay for Stid!!!
Aw, Krista. That's sweet. (I think.)
Yay Stid! (yeah, I think it's really to keep his sister out, Jac).
yvvw :0
oh! they have something like that actually. Look in the kid science-type catalogs that start coming this time of year...
Krista - most probably it is.
seems the one I got a few years back wasn't that expensive
When my kids were younger they either wrote rude keep out notices to each other on their doors or attacked the sibling intruder.:(
Do they really have those? Well, maybe his big dream can come true after all! I'll look online!
cool video, btw. I always love those sorts of things.
whoooo hooooo STID
Well done, stid.
Are they nice to each other now? (looking for hope, here)
Krista - Yes. At 20 and 23 they are now civil, even friendly at times.
Krista, check out search terms like "spy alarm" and "motion detector children"
i have been working on this one word for 1/2 hr now and i know i am gonna kick myself when i see it
what letter tim?
in 5
Yes! Just found some, wonderful. Thanks, Stid. Glad to hear it, Jac, because they surely get on my nerves sometimes.
tim -- a person who can't do the job from incompetence is in5
in5, not skilled
Mind you, Krista, I think my favourite childhood photo of them, which is also theirs now they know the background story, is the one where my son (3 at the time) asked me, 'Can I have a photo taken WITHOUT THE BABY?' 'Of course you can, my darling!' said I and took a photo of him 'on his own'. However, he was standing in front of the pram and when the photo was developed, guess who had poppd her head out of thee pram to see what she was missing? Oh, LOLlolololol.
see i could kick myself it was sooooooo obvious
I got total cute overload today at the apple festival we helped at. A VERY newborn baby!
rofl CLASSIC kid moment, Jac!
Krista - you should go to the Rosie Nieper tee-shirt site for a tee-shirt my daughter owns. The legend on it reads, 'I have only one nerve and you are getting on it!'
stid - it sure was!
Oh my gosh, that's funny, Jac!!
This cracks me up: Spy Gear Spy Laser Trip Wire Children can set up an invisible spy perimeter to protect your top secret toys - just like banks and museums use! Cross an invisible beam and the alarms sounds!
there is a video tonight right
I am going to send my children to different corners of the globe one of these days... One to Canada and one to Antarctica...
YES, a very nice video I thought...
hehe
I use that line a lot around here, Jac!
well Jillibus just sent me some funny pics of jack-o-lanterns...
Krista - all that stuff to cross hidden laser beams sounds much like my daily trip through my daughter's bedroom to her en-suite bathroom for laundry.
Jacula -- do the English "do" Halloween at all?
You mean Canada owns the North Pole as is claimed, stid?
LOL I figured you were lurking!
Only my gymnastics are to get through a size 6 girl's version of 'pathway through the junk in my bedroom'.
just got here, lol
I thought Santa owned the north pole, Jill...
i hink i have to refresh to see it
stid - yes we do 'do Hallowe'en.. but it's becoming more Americanised now, re trick or treat.
Hi, jilli
Santa must be Canadian ;)
no tim... don't refresh...
do you have the "fireworks video" selection turned on?
hi Jilli
wherei s that
Must be, Jill! Jolly old elf and all that. Certainly wouldn't be U.S. since he knows not only the names of the places, but the people in them!
hi everyone -- too many to name but each cherished equally :)
tim, in the "options" of the babble browser
Hiya, jilli.xx
Or does the old fake live in North Pole NY?
there is an option for no video it is not checked
My young spy really needs to get to bed..Hey Jilli...Goodnight, all; thanks for the chat.
hm. not sure why it didn't load... did you try just dragging the right hand bar over to see if it's there?
g'night, Krista
sweet dreams spy-mama!
yup
stid - do I still detect a bit of stiff shoulderedness in that post about Santa? Did you take offence at the 'stupid Americans' stuff?
the side bar is all white
The side bar is also all right, since, when it expands, it means you've got MORE WORDS. *grins*
Moi? Take offense? Mais NON! LOL Jacula, I think most people in the U.S. are pretty self-centered and unwilling to consider the importance of others. Not those in the Babble set, but... in general, for sure!
tim, I don't know why it didn't load then. Yes, try refreshing. Or even just close Babble and come back in?
stid - for real? (What you said about others in US).
k
yes Jacula -- I doubt very much that anyone has to doctor recordings to make the "average American" look pretty uneducated in world or national affairs...
But I suspect most know exactly who Britney or Paris are!
Hello jac -- I remember a Halloween at Malvern Girls' College vividly -- great fun -- pageant of mediaeval costumes (I balanced a great cone thing on my head), guessing games (what is that smell?), bobbing for apples, and best of all, the Ghost Hole where we had to go downstairs into the dark unknown and shake hands with the mistresses, one of whom had a rotten pear in her hand...gaaahhh!
ick. ick ick Jill. No wonder memory is vivid!
I tend to live my life knowing there is good and bad in every person and in every person no matter what nation, colour or creed. There are good people all around the world. Some , you may connect with, and some you may not.
*nods head in agreement with Jacula*
hi everyone
hi finches
Hi, finches
hi finches
hello finches -- such pretty birds!
rofl... just showed Tom the funny pics Jill sent.
LOL, jilli. Same sort of thing happened to me at a children's party when I was a child. Something to to with a sea shanty... got blinfolded and then tied to a dining chair that was then lifeted up and swung around, basis was, plunging your finger into 'Kelly's Eye' (dead man's eye)... the chair swooped down and then your finger got foribly plunged into half an orange. Try playing that game at a kids' party these days and you'd bbe arrested for 'child abuse'.
lbd -- I was tempted to pick wingdings as my font :D
Hello jillibus! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid
Hello finches! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid
Jill! did you see my big finish a little bit ago? I did the WHOLE grid with no list and the only clues I needed were the full count and how many RO and RE words there were!
That game scared sh*t out of me at the time. LOL
i'm being a wingding, so figured it was appropriate for my icon today. lol
oh Jacula, that would be really scary... I don't do haunted houses.
ROFL jac!! We had a more wicked version of that game as adults, which lost us some strait-laced "friends"! It was called "goose the moose" and involved a jar of Vaseline...hehe...how vulgar...hehe!
jilli - Oh my!
*Send details of game via e-mail! LOL*
stiddy, I didn't see your brilliant finish, deary me!!! Wowie!!!
wow
okay, Tom got me a cool new program that I am going to install. Will I see you-all tomorrow? *hoping so*
Sorry, still really roflolling aabout jilli's adult game.
{{{everyone}}} *poof*
Bye, stid
night stid
awww, stid!!! going already?
hehe, jac!
that was a good vodeo
someone put alot of work into that
vodeodododo, you flapper you!
how do you get the video??
whoooo hooooo TIM
all I get is fireworks
thanks ib
jilli - details of that game via e-mail... reallly. I've got a wedding to go to soon. Reception games should be funny, especially, since, as I mentioned before, they are the most unlikely couple in the world, looking at them, to indulge in S&M. Your game would be light relief.
you have to go pro wvteach
then get lickety to send you babble expert
is that just the paying for the membership???? cause I done did that already
wv, first you go pro for a measly 15 bucks just once, then you email Lickety ans ask for BabbleExpert
Though I DO HOPE no s&M games will present themselves during the 'wedding lunch, boat trip and disco' 6-hour function.
oh okay then you can chage your icon if you like then we will all know you are pro
keep meaning to do that
ok jac -- and I'll send you the halloween thing too :)
Thanks, jilli.
ttfn -- gotta start supper too
Enjoy your meal, jilli.
Goodbye jillibus! I will see you tomorrow in the chat!
night jilli
wvt - you need to fill your details in on bio, for sex and location.
okay...done the icon
Then you can do an icon and even flickr pics and fm radio if you want.
Well done, wvt.
i haven't been able to figure out flicr pics
flickr's easy, tim, if you remember to make your pics 'public'. Unfortunately, you can't make them private for a group.
Not on Babble, anyway.
Off to change my icon now. 3:58am here, Beloved is late for work.
i did it but they don't show
do i have to use the same email that i used to sign up for bable?
It's done. Fave game, which I can't find anyone to play with me since daughter's 1st b/f (still her best mate) got booted.
Note to self: ask that b'f here over Christmas for board games.
Did you remember to put your user name for flickr in your Babble account info, th?
night everyone see you tomorrow
night IB
G'night LBD
Goodbye lbdawger! I will see you tomorrow in the log!
You need to be quick-thinking for spinergy game. It's great fun though!
hi all
What's the concept of the game? I saw that there are word wheels.
Hi again, finches.
well now it says i have signed up for flicr but i have no pics yet
Jellen - hang on and I will direct you to the game site on-line. I've never playe it on-line, btw.
Hi, everyone.
Hi, Home
hi home
jac -- just sent your email
I need 2 more words. Can anyone help me?
must scroll back to see what's been going on -- also still have to start supper, sigh
Hi again jilli. Missed your previous farewell.
hello homeatlast -- can't help but love your name!
Ask away, Home.
my game: here's the url for rules on on-line stuff.
jellen, it was just a ttfn, and another is coming :)
http://tinyurl.com/363oa3
se 4/7 and pe 6/21 and thank you jillibus
Thanks, jac. Will check it out.
jilli - thanks, re mail.
se4/7 is a peasant in feudal days
pe6/21 is a bird; sounds like what the British call gasoline.
oooo okay, I thought I that but didn't
Yeah that's it I got the last one. That was the 4th time in my babbling career. Maybe someday I'll be able to do one that is more than 100 words.
Congrats, Homeatlast!!!
brb
I think I will celebrate with a little chocolate, perhaps.
Good idea, homeatlast.
hello babblers
Hi, hk
hiya jell
heya jacs!
jilli - thanks for e-mails.xx
Hi, Hell on Earth, How'ya doin'?
hi jacula! i am down to 18
how are you jacs?
Small Sunday grid, only 51 words - expect 203 to 542 words for Monday. LOL.
i hope noe jac
I'm fine, thanks, Hell. BBS - just need to answer a text message on mobile.
i think i have a scratched cornea - had that happen before, my eye hurts, am going to give it one more day, see if it gets better
hi
hiya harp
Hi, harp
Hi, angel
hi hk
hi angel
heya tim
Hell - scrached cornea is v. painful. *Gentle hugs*
thanks jacs - yep, it hurts, i bought this stuff 'GenTeal' basically a lubricant, keeping it moist helps
er510
er 5/10 a mistake
angel - er5/10 is a mistake.
i learned this last time, the scratch scabs during the night, but the eye drys, so when you open your eyes in the morning, you tear all the mending work that happened overnight
Gel eye mask is the answer overnight, Hell.
It cools the irritated eye and also get in the way of you scratching things.
this stuff i have, you put inside the lower lid & then blink so it moves to cover whole eye
hey, i sleep with an ice pack anyway for the hot flashes, lol
in 5 ?
in5= not competent
Hell - I know the stuff, having had it twice when my eyes reacted badly by lsoughing off their first 2 layers of skin in response to contact lenses. It, the stuff, makes you feel blind but it soothes and settles. Also, you can see again soon.
ok, that's describing me right now, lol, thanks jell
pe6?
oooooh jacs - that sounds awful!
painful !
eeeeeesh !
pe6= a bird; sounds like British gasoline
Hell - it waspretty awful but I'l tell that tale some other time.
yes, let's save that one for another time
pe6 is a seabird.
Sounds like UK version of car fuel.
firewords !
Congrats, hk!!!
Well done, Hell.
got it, thx!
just playing with flickr
ty,ty,ty
when i get puppy pics i can post hem
& now i think i will get myself off the computer & rest my poor eye
Tim - glad you worked flickr out now.
good nite everyone, bye-bye
'Night, Hell. Resr eye well. Come back her before last bell, feeling well. xxx
our little poet :)
thanks jac
i figured out what was wrong
i had the wrong email
B8gger off and rest your eye dear Hell. You know I can write really. xxx
Though the term 'our litle poet' does sound quite nice... sort of.
night hk
this little pup has brought me out of my funk
i have thought about work since he got here
haven't i menat
You mean you want to leave the house now the little bearded one is with you, tim?
Ah! LOL
Pups are son engaging, aren't they? Not good that he was from a puppy farm though. I hope you will take earlier adive and contact a breeder.
i will
I also hope that you can read my v. tired posts.
pe 6, anyone?
Tim - good.
pe6 is a seabird. Sounds like Uk car fuel.
i missed that jac
v. tired
pe6 seems to be everyone in USA's bug word.
Thanks, Jac
y/w, DRWED.
wwe have 'Stormy pe6's' here.
if you follow the show "Heroes" the pe 6 is part of the last name of the Peter and Nathan characters.
Ah! The USa and their TV clues.
how about wi 6 and 7?
heros is my favorite show rigt now
sorry jac what was the vtired post?
please?? anyone?
wi6 and 7 are an uneven gait kinda word and plural. However, think of the Christmas season and then change it after first 4 letters to short form of 'Lesley'.
wi + computer chip name with the last two letters reversed
= the plural
thanks so much
+ the plural thatr is
Yo got it, yow., Well done.
Yo got it, yow., Well done.
gee can't type
I can type, tim, but I can't see!b Damned varifocals!
thanks jacula - you can see what i've completed?
hehe jac
Yow - since you're not a pro player I can only take your word for it that you have completed the grid. I can check archives later hower. LOL
i am reading back jac and i don't see v.tired
Don't you, tim? Well I am.. v. tied.
Tired - NOT tied! EEK!
oh sorry i thought i was looking for a url lol
Other ha;lf went off to work ages ago. Lots of text messages after that and then the last I sent him.... 'marriage 2010. Not had a reply to that.
okay i totallyyyyyyyyyyy missread you
i read that sentence and thought you had given some advice or something i had missed
i think this dog has it's days and nights mixed up
I think I had too good a talk to him when we first got ogether... I declined his marriage proposal and told him how long it might take him to get over his marriage breakig up.:( Big mistake, methinks.
Call me silly moo! That's what my tea mug reads.
are you sure he didn't faint from shock
Dunno, tim. But surely 4 and a half years is long enogh to decide or even gt a divorce?
Having said that, 10 years is my recovery time from true love.
it took me 3 years to get a divorce and it was contested
But I've done all that twice now and my lovely 'toy boy' must get thre soon, surely? Men are so much more shallow than women re love...
hehe
Also, I held up my divorce for 6 years/. LOL.
sometimes i think divorce actually means failure to them
we women once we have decided don't look back
okay well some of us then:)
i would never get a divorce again
So, tim? We don't also feel failures? But, if we do, we have a network of people, mean and women, who assure us that is not so. Because WE women talk and men don't tend to... not about that sort of stuff at least.
well i think we feel failure with the loss of love not the actual divorce
i felt like i had failed about 5 yrs before i actually divorced
Tim - I would never get a divorce again either.. which makes me cautious about marrying again. However, I have no doubts about my Love. But he's no so far into the divorce years.
i don't knopw if love is enough
Hollywood romance films have a lot to anweer for!
lol yeah
marriage is difficult
'In all of te bars in alll of the towns...' etc., etc.
i love my husband and he would never harma flea
but he doesn't even know that he hurts my feelings all the time
Or Derbra Carr abd Burt Lancaster in 'Fron Her To Eternity'.
hehe
Men do that, tim. They have no idea!
when i lived alone it was easier
Ispend a decade as a single parent, tim, and, in some ways, it was easier. But I missed having a man around and now he is around I love it!
some things are harder and some things easier
But I do get p*ssed off at times, wher's my dinner etc.
everyone here adores my husband so it would be very difficult to tell anyone how i feel
even him
so i pretty much keep it to myself
Still no reply to my text of marriage in 2010.
Guesss that says something. Dunno quite what.
i am not critisizing by any means but maybe it is somehting better said in person?
Well, I'm 12 years his senior. *shrugs*
i would wanna see his face
Tim- I've said it recently.
in person
that shouldn't matter if he loves youy
Never mind.
and what was his reaction?
is reaction ws something like'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
men!
But he wanted me to marry him when we first met!MEN! Kill one every day and sell him to MacDonald's. LOL
lol
beefcake burgers, for women. *grins8
hehe
might be too fattening though
aybe - but how do I persuade my man to get a divorce and marryy ME now?
Do I even WANt to marry him now? Yes, I love him and he is my swansong. I've decided that.
well it has been my experience you can't get men to do anything that they don't think is there idea
Hmm... I've tried p*ssing him off. LOL
I'll just start trying the 'Marriage? Are you joking?' bit AGAIN, shall I?
well just say you.ve htought about it and maybe he is right
hello, all.
hi dc
hey, peeps
hi tb
hello, tyger, tim, and jac :)
how's everybody tonite? are we having fun with this *enormous* puzzle? :P
Tried that, too, tim. This bman is one hard nut to crack. I mght even hav to get his mother on his case. She's fa tougher than me on this subjectt whenwe talk. LOL.
Hi, dc and tyger
hi, jellen
hi jellen!
No, actually... I don't want anyone to ask me to marry them ever again un;less they really mean it and want it ffor life.
Aloha Babblers!
aloha, fran!
Hi, Fran
I definitely understand your POV, Jac; I think you've got it right
hi dc! Jac, that looks like a great game.
hey, Fran
hi tyger!
how's the weather in Alohaland? :P
there ya go jac
it was lovely today tyger. hi tim!
I was stupid enough to into imarriage first time believing it was forever.
hi fran
me too jac i was 19 yrs old
same age her, tim
Jac, marriage is *supposed* to be forever. But people have to make a commitment to solve the problems that come up. One person being committed is NOT enough to make a marriage last
i stayed married for 20 yrs cause i didn't believe in divorce
tim, my son stayed in one of the most awful marriages I've ever seen for the kids. He is damaged, and knows it
But, I must just say something here on behalf of my ex love and husband... as an 'ex' he's been a far better husband and father.:)( dunno whether to grin or cry.
:(
scary
:(
and when i got out of my marriage i said i would never do it again lol
famous last words
Quick break here for a David Cassidy song - Coul It Be forever?
[groan] :P
forever is a long, long time
I know there are wonderful marriages. My parents had one. The couple I called my foster parents also had one. Deep love, mutual respect, tenderness ... "the whole enchilada"
I wanted one of those
:)
don't/didn't we all, tyger.
didn't get it, of course [sigh]
Bloody Hel! We in UK didn't get that version of Dabdud C's 'Cherish' thst you lot did.
but so long as there are such marriages in the world, it gives the rest of us hope ... or at least something to aspire to
well i am pretty sur ei have
oh? Better or worse the US version, jac?
hi all
tyger - Yes, aspiring is the great hope. xxx
hello, joso
sorry lost that half way through the sentence
hey, joso
good evening everyone =)
hi, mel!
dc - david C almost naked. We never saw that on TOTP in UK!
hey, metiae
i have a pretty good marriage right now with a few kinks that need working out
Hi, meliae
Anyway, that's not the song I was looking for
hi mel
awwww, jac, how can we help? :P
TH, work hard, and we'll cross our fingers that your mate is working equally hard :)
Late hi, joso
i hope we have a bigger puzzle tonight we are due for a whopper
debating if it's worth going to the sleven for ice cream again, or if i really want that at all.
indeed, mel!
I think you're right. There have been some rather short ones the past week
i just had hot apple pie and french vanilla ice cream it was heavenly
i really feel that if we had different jobs it would help
DC, try doing a quick calorie count on today's meals. That hellps me figure it out :)
i think it will be big mel
i've had maybe 800 kcal today, mostly veggies.
i am guessing 351
150 on the inverse prediction.
Mel, that sounds great. I love both of those, especially when the vanilla ice cream is *really* rich - no lo fat for me on ice cream
i'm hoping for 227, drb, and hello
time for me to go. nite, all
yes, if I am going to spurge on ice cream I want the real stuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVlKh03 Yl4E This song has mad every man in my life fall at my feet. Glasses or not. I have 'come to bed' eyes, apparently, even if I don't mean to. LOL
night tyger!
low-fat ice cream is an obimination
dc, you can afford more food :)
g'night, tyger, sleep well!
good evening all -- triple 51 would be nice!
abomination rather
almost flip time!
hi, nan!
G'night, tyger
you said it dc
nite, Fran. I'm outta here
nini Tyger
hi nan!
148
