The baby was brought to the hospital twice, and the other kids (7 and 3) visited 3 times. Mary went home Tues night after a 25 day hospital stay. She is very bonded with the baby, but deeply regrets not being able to breastfeed.

I did the baby's 2 wk well baby visit in Mary's room at the cancer center. (I am a pediatrician, Krista.) I brought a scale from the office and examined the baby on Mary's bed. I wanted Mary to be a part of the visit.
