I came down with it last week..but with burning the candle at both ends..and in the middle for 2 months...

I know stid, I project manage at work so have been working on it like a work project but then today the question of a guest book came up - honestly who knew! Thinking of doing a memory tree. Would strongly recommend internet dating but you have to be very careful and it is probably best if you aren't too desperate to meet someone, that way you can be more objective.

I am a word racer addict...lol....the pace of babble is extremely slow compared to what i'm used to, but it's challenging & i like that

i showed daniel little mermaid, since he's on a mermaid kick lately (thanks to a dora mermaid episode) and he seemed to like it but was scared at the sea witch's parts
i think that's why he likes cinderella so much. it's a good story, he likes the magic and the mice and thinks cinderella is pretty, and there aren't really any truly scary parts.

Feather, my medical opinion is that someone put you on a stoopid eye ointment....not a good choice, AND that if you are improving we usually say to treat for 5-7 days.

oh thank goodness. i was thinking of doing the goop maybe once at night, and doing breastmilk drops during the day for the rest of the time. the stupid script said 10 days, i'm on day 6.
i do NOT recommend ointment! ever!

I like tea compresses when my eyes itch and burn... I have to use ointment nightly to keep my eyes lubricated and I really don't like it!
My little brother had a condition where his eyelashes rolled in on his eyeball...we had to put ointment in his eye three times a day, every day for two + years...I am pro
We only use ointment (erythromycin) for very young infants. Otherwise we use drops.
plus, i'll be at school tomorrow, and don't want goopy eyes! half the time i can't see properly because it's on my lashes or clouding my eyesight, the rest of the time i'm wiping them with tissues

I spent the afternoon with Mary and her husband at the hospital and she is doing better than a wk ago. Last Sunday she lost consciousness, needed to be an a ventilator in the ICU x 1 day. She got aspiration pneumonia. She was smiling and joking today, but is SO weak.

kids are clamoring for pizza...need to go. Oh my...she has really been through it. It's always hard when the treatment makes you feel ill when the disease did not. That was hard for me to "get my head around." I used a lot of visualization..when I threw up, I pictured it being the cancer cells...I pictured them being grass and the chemo was a lawn mower...tried not to think of the chemo as poison when it sure felt like it (they didn't have zofran and such back then..)

scrabbler, i saw a book once, when my mom was going through chemo and radiation for breast cancer, anyway, it had visualization ideas for people going through that...something like what krista just said, but lots of different ideas.
i worked w/ the doctors so my mom would not go through the throw up
