Oh, yes. Otherwise they curl and actually make them get stuck in the ground worse. It sucks, but it's actually for their own good as much as that hurts me to say.

I've met a couple of russels without docked tails and it is Truly for their own good. One I know actually kept getting an infection where her tail rubbed on her back. It was bad.
i can understand that. I truly don't believe in cruelty of any sort. And needlessly docking a dog or declawing a cat is cruel, I think.
Sometimes I even think the ear thing is kinda cruel.
And that's just taping.
docking is banned by the North American Kennel Association, but for a few breeds for health reasons, lady.

I have always thought that people before dogs should be registered
