I reinstalled most things now... and changed all default C directiory folders for email and such into folders on another drive.
all 4 of my wisdom teeth were out for free - i had kick-ass union coverage back then.
i had three extractions, seven root canals, i forget how many fillings, and my four front top teeth capped.

I don't know, dc. In the very early logs you can see people become very unkind when someone asked for a clue, sometimes. It was expected you did as much as you could by yourself. It was also before the whole community thing on internet got as widespread as it is now.

My most recent book that I am reading is Robert Heinlein's "For Us, The Living" . It was the first novel he ever wrote and it shows. But it also contains the seeds from which all his later and greater works grew
four day work weeks, i remember those...still had to work the 40 hours tho.
I did 4 tens for a couple of years and found I tended to sleep away most of the fifth day. BTW, have cat on lap now, finished 6 books during this holiday break

I'm just glad I work from home and so can have the late nights (unless some early rush is going on) and then make i up for or 3 nights (8-12 hours) on 3 days a week.

I think education is for education's sake at some level. I am opposed to things like pre-med and pre-law because then docs and etc are not well-rounded and a lot of programs have been started to prevent that
