Basically we had a veyr unstable pt, and the day shift didnt want to take report, and even when they did, noone made any move to go and evaluate the patient, meet the very upset family, make sure all the med drips were running like they should be...

I think there are two problems. Those 2 nurses are not well trained, have ony worked at this tiny hospital, and dont know a lot of things.

I was utterly hopeless with watercolour (even more than I am now) until I realised that I had to use the paint, not let the paint dictate to me. Now I've found a way of working with it that's totally not the "normal" way. But it works for me

Someone comes running up to canteen to ask for icepacks... some little kid had put her hand on one of the BBQ's being used for a sausage sizzle... we all just looked at eachother and laughed... cause we realised there was a bush fire behind the school at the same time, and the smell of burning eucalyptus and kiddy is very similar!

carlee, if you are looking at mexico, check out the time share hotels (the royals are beautiful) they offer suites with 2 bedrooms sleeper couch in living room and kitchens for much less than hotel pricing. also have beautiful facilities
