Pink It was just very high winds and some areas hit harder than others - 4 people killed by falling walls trees etc. The main problem with the supply is that they privatised the power system here a few years ago, and it seems all the individual smaller companies do not have the emergency crew numbers to fix things up within a day or 2
we have a lot of pole fires over here due to no maintenance being done and several people have been killed by this the whole utility system needs a thorough investigation as the same people are fillinf their pockets
how awful, im glad your safe! When these want to become private they dont think of what is best for consumers in terms of service and emergency measures, its all about lining their own pockets they make me sick!

Scrabbler, I spoke with you about my granddaughter's brain cancer...to update you...she's had two operations, chemo and came to Boston for Proton Beam Radiation...went back to Raleigh last Sunday. Got to see my greatgrandson... he's 17 months old and really cute. Please continue praying for Angela...this cancer is chronic.
