i love the base color i painted on daniel's wall (doing an ocean theme)...i want to do a color wash, but don't want to lose that base color. was wondering if i could just reuse it for my base glaze and then do the deeper tone on that, rather than doing a new color for my glaze base

feather - those instructions are NOT set in stone. Use two colors but the glaze will change the base color. You might consider a kneewall effect. Then you can leave the basecoat above it plain and do the fancy stuff below.

yeap....ok..so I left that one out... we just did a project for GG with paint techniques....for badgework....the instructions from manual was to get parents to agree to let the girls have a wall of their own...I nixed that one...base coated some wooden boxes ( 1.00 store ) and had them smoosh rag etc...a technique of their choice and now they have a time capsule box for another badge requirement

im violently ticklish on my feet, but i usually try to endure it once or twice a year, just so my feet are sandal-ready. we had gone to this place before + everyone else got pedis + i was impressed, so i felt ok going back there. :)

scarlet -- hes "eh" with the job. doesnt really love it, because honestly, hes just too smart for a boring admin job. he really needs more responsibility + challenge than the job can offer. but its paying the bills + hes slowly able to pay me back for the helping hand i was able to offer while he wasnt working. and hes using the down-time at work to apply for better jobs...so hopefully he will land something soon that makes him happy. :)
