Morning folks. Just waiting for poor Walter to get up. He had a really hard time with a vaccine yesterday so instead of taking him to daycare and going to school, I'm letting him sleep.
I'll nedd that ec7 clued at the top of the hour. Please?
hello monkey how old is your little boy?
no idea sorry pigeon
He's just over 3 1/2. This was his last dip/tet/whoop/polio. No more shots til he's 9.
Hugabugs knows.
that's always harder on mom isn't it?
got them all but 2????
Well, I have a very high pain tolerance and never really minded these, and his tolerance is high too, so I expected to just get through this with a bit of howling and a kiss and a new (used) toy, which all did happen, but he then developed a lot of arma nd hand pain and a fever and was just spectacularly moserable yesterday and in the night. Never quite seen him like that. But the fever's broken and I see online that the tet shot can cauise a lot of radiating pain, which I wish they'd bothered to mention so I could be prepared for it.

The site itself doesn't seem to be bad at all. His pain seems to be in his hand and ribs when he moves his upper arm. I had that once maybe 20 years ago from a shot; I think the bolus landed in a key nerve bundle. And yes, Tylenol has been helping a lot. And now he is sound asleep, which is teh best thing for him of course.

got it, thanks Knight
thank you Knight! Somehow got it on the second try!

Yeah, westford, me too but I doubt it. I needed to change his sheets at 3:45, and he was still having the pain then but the fever had broken. It's almost 8 here now. I gave him a Tylenol at £:45 of course.

Hi lynxxx frances
Even if Quantico was in the grid, it wouldn't be a word, as it's a place name...
Hello Frances

Hi, sprite and westford. And Douglas, if you're still there. How's the grid today?
Oh, you're going, west. Bye!
hi hydra! Opinions differ largely. I am having a ball. West has had it for now.
morning everyone :-)
Words aren't exactly jumping out at me. Morning, Katie.
hi Katie!
am down to 10 in a little over half an hour
Well done, sprite. I have 60 left but I've only been at it 10 mins.
I think you will enjoy this one, hydra. Right up your sleee.
I've stared for too long, and have only gotten 39 words...you are far clever than I sprite...
*sleeve
The first thing I did was find all the q's. They were quite easy.
*cleverer*
don't think so, actually, Doug. Just better trained.
and fireworks... worst word for me was ec7. Ec + where the devil lives + vowel.
Thanks, sprite...I'm going to come back tomorrow when the grid is slightly less...evil...
congrats sprite
must run off, must pick up daughter from school for vaccination. Bye all!
Buy sprite. Have a lovely dayh
And bye, Douglas. Hey Katie, they're all leaving us!
I think it is something we said!!
LOL :)
I'd never have found the ec7 without sprite's clue.
Lol I didn't see the clue, got it now :-)
I'm struggling with the el5
Oh, got it now. Or my monkey did.
I've only just started so I'm just throwing words down.
Best way, katie.
It's gone very quiet. You must be Babbling hard, Katie. How many words?
I've only got 40 so far but need to do some work soon!
How about you?
I've got 58. I work from home, but I still need to get started soon or I'll waste the whole day!
On that note i'm off to get some work done. See you soon :-)
Help. I'm all alone! Anybody out there?????
*whispers hello to hydra*
Morning! *Rubs eyes and yawns.*
Morning sleepyhead :)
*screams* HELLOOOO! Thank goodness you're there. And Jacula. How are you today?
I'm here - digging around for my last 15
Jac, I want a copy of that Magic Mushroom book. Brilliant! Psychedelia Smith, indeed!
Morning Frances. I need another 29.
I'll be livlier when I've had my first cuppa. Amazing I just got 2 q words with no tea inside me.
back to work for me now.
Hi Frances, I've just got here.
Bye, FMitch.
The q's were the first things I tackled - but then, I'd had a tea. No, two teas!
I need the ta6/21 acid! Ooh, daughter's just given me a big cup. Aah!
'Bye FM. See you later.
Waitress service - even better.
Bye FM
Im sort of still here just doing otherthings
Lovely daughter! I've tried to train the cat but he just doesn't get it. He dips his tail in the mug and stalks off. At least he stirs it for me.
Doesn't happen often, Fran!
*Checks tea for cat hair, since cat was 'he4/6ing' daughter.*
I see the French have invented a new type of cup which you swirl to stir instead of using a spoon.
I bought Mr Grumpy a battery operated builder's thermal mug. You fill it with tea and sugar, put the lid down, press a button and it mixes it all up for you.
Have they, Fran? Doesn't the tea slosh out?
Did he stop grumping?
I don't mean a mug for battery operated builders. Now, what a good idea that would be!
No Frances, he grumped because the battery ran out!
No, it has a wider well at the bottom and you swirl it like a brandy glass.
LOL.
He also grumped when he forgot to remove teabag before swishing. It cladged up the works.
LOL hydra
Frances - we've got some Dunoon mugs that shape. Didn't realise that's what they were for.
So the French have pinched the idea then.
What's a Dunoon mug? Or do you mean they came from Dunoon in jolly Scotland?
Possibly.
The Dunoon pottery, hydra. We've got a Denby mug that shape, too. Just checked.
What is the shape like? I hadn't heard pf Dunoon pottery, ignoramus that I am. Do they balloon out at the bottom like a brandy glass?
The mugs we have do, yes.
They must be quite unusual. I've never seen one.
Ah. Well you can guess what one of the pics in today's blog will be then!
Thanks, Jac!
Have a look at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/ articles/news/worldnews.html?in_articl e_id=560068&in_page_id=1811
can someone help with the el's please
http://tinyurl.com/5j3aha
(Makes it easier to see the article in one go.)
It's an interesting shape, Frances.
How do you convert to a tinyurl?
What an interesting looking thing. Yet the humble teaspoon is useful not just for stirring, but for percussion, for punctuating what one is saying... and even for rapping people on the knuckles!
Frances - you copy your long url, open a new tab and go to tinyurl.com, paste the long url into the box provided and it'll give the the short one.
Indeed it is, hydra.
Thank you Jac - always wondered.
It's a very useful tool, Frances.
Indeed Jac
Hillary - el5/12 is a tree resin. Begins with a pachyderm and then sounds like a personal pronoun.
well I never...

Lol, I wish I didnt know there was an ec7 word too!! ;)

i'm to young to work that clue out :(

It's finally spring here!!!! Will be almost 70 today, no snow predicted, most snow melted. The roads are like WWI trenches, but this too shall pass. Life might be worth living after all.
i remember my mum making toast first thing in the morning and my hanging my head over toilet just to smell it cooking....not exagerating....countless mornings I spent that way
Eva, where do you live? In MD it is going to be 70's too. but right now it is frosty
where are u again eva?..we had that yesterday..and warmer today..and still warmer tomorrow
Eva sounds much the same as here.
north central vermont
yea..southern ON here... was 70 last 2 days here
Gloomy, windy, frost in the mornings, lots of hail. Coastal Netherlands
have to go and get liquid fence and blood meal today, because the deer have been very hungry and are going after anything that is poking it's head up through the snow.
we had 65 yesterday, 70's today! But it is still cold this morning..... only 33
time to move Mg... its glorious here..buds poppingon trees
it may be cold here..but I wanted to listen to the birds..so window open a crack
Just moved here 15 years ago. Time to win the lottery and head over to Tuscany.
ah...45F outside right now
We've got the buds popping, though, and fields and fields of daffodils and crocuses and hyacinths and snowdrops...
And swans and lambs and the irises are sprouting...
fields???? no fields other then green winter wheat
26 here now, but sunny, which has been a rarity for months.
Fields, canals, woodlands, forest, the beach.
And yet I live in a city.
hello everybody!
Hi Pink!
good morning pink!
Here's where I live: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=ramplaan +haarlem+netherlands&sourceid=navclien t-ff&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGGL,GGGL:2006-38,GG GL:en
hi there pink
good morning monkey, nono and carlee! how is everyone today?
waking up....
while we´re on the subject, its absolutely bucketing down here in Barcelona. Or, as the locals say: pol molts.
I'm good. And Walter is a good deal better.
who is Walter monkey?
pol molts?
and FIREWORKS!!!
My son. He had a bad time of it after his booster yesterday, but today he's still under the weather but no fever and his arm is a bit more usable and the headache is gone. He's 3 1/2.
Yay NoNo!
me thinks today will be a great day to sip wine all day..( well..with lunch and on)
congrats nono, well done!
and did we bribe or ignore bandaid?
our volcano is back!
awww poor baby, what booster did he have?
plo molt´s: Catalan for raining cats and dogs.
This is a foul grid
Diptheria, tetanus, polio, whooping cough cocktail.
no alleyn..the grid 2 days ago was foul
yes it was carlee! this one is rather tame compared to that one
Oh! So it is only me struggling?
Full of phantoms, though. Polemic. Helminth. Lepton.
that is alot for his little body to handle, they shouldn't do it all at once, maybe 2 at a time then a month later the other 2 and so on. Lil pink has to have her MMR and im not to thrilled about it
Alleyn, I have completely stalled out myself.
never said it was not a challenge....this grid at least has real words
Yeah, I agree, but the vaccination program here does it this way.... I was startled by the reaction though, and the arm thing means she shot him right into a muscle fiber nerve budle, poor little guy. It was a nasty painful shot. But that's the last one until he's 9!
Hey Babble Family.....
Hi there!
AUSSIEEEEEEEE!!!!
{{{{carlee}}}}
Hey MG !!
there has been alot of negativity regarding the MMR over here that im really concerned about the side effects/reaction she may have to it
hi, everyone.
Hi Auxxieme
how was ur day ?
oops did i butcher that........ hi Aussime!
Hey Aussie, and Angel!
Nono !! Did I change my name ??
hi aussie & angel
Hi Angel
My day has been crap so far !
i used to have to totally drug my son up on tylenol..dble dosage..and that lasted for 3 days...
Here too but Walter came through all his with no reaction whatever. Can you get them separately? My insurance won't cover that.
{{{Angel}}}
morning angel
Hey Blue !!
lol Nono !! I dont mind having a name change erevy now and then !!
any snow Aussie?
Oh, Walter's getting Tylenol.
SNOW ???? Nope, not here.... nice sunshine (for a change)
we are waiting for our dose
no snow here now until fall...el7amdu lilah
well, you can keep it blue ! I like snow, on christmas cards !
i did consider going to france to have them done individually, as its not available over here, but as usual finances have beaten me once again, so i have to get her immunised, i cant take the chance. Its a double edged sword for me, cos a friend of mine had her daughter immunised and she has suffered a number of life threatening illnesses as a result.
i like it in other peoples towns and cities
hey bluemonkey!
hahahahaha Blue !
PIIIINNNNKKKK !!!!!!!!
hi pink
It does happen. But it is very rare. Yes, I cringed every time he got his shots, but the benefits outweigh the risks and I just had to bite the bullet and do it.
OK, got to get him off for his nap. Back later!
Georgia has had all her shots up to now, and she suffered no ill effects so far !
later MG ..
hagd mg
Bye monkey, same with my little one Aussie but its the MMR that concerns me the most. I had an awful reaction to it and im feeling really discouraged by it.
ok, must get into this grid... been here ten minutes and got no words yet !
Pink, Georgia had hers, and she didint suffer... fingers crossed for Lil-Pink !!
tooooooo many phantoms today, i see more of those than actual words lol...thanks aussie!
I keep seeing purple !
ok..i have some chocolate chip cookie dough for breakfast....not exactly healthy..but....its a kick start
quantum, temple, chill, helmet, and cinema are just a few
I had toast for breakfast !
Aussieme. Onehour has produced 46. It's yuck.....
sugar rush Carlee
Oh No !! I feel Grid Grouch coming on !
{{Alleyn}}
its not aussie... ok..i fell asleep during idol..who was voted off?
I dont know...
36 words found. 59 left. cant see anymore. im off. BBL!
later pink
carlee.... Kirsty Lee Cook was voted off
cookie dough and coffee...go well together
had to google it to find out.
hmmm..i guess to be expected... she's good...but not... memorable as simon keeps saying
i wish they would turf sayesha
OK, now I can concentrate on this for a bit. Hope he naps today!
Clue for the ni 7 please. Presume the t is the third letter?
she is in the six left (or so it tells me), she was in the bottom three, with Brooke White ?
i can't stand sayesha... she is a diva in the making
We love American Idol in this household...
Oops, nope, have to go up and see what he keeps throwing.
why is pleh not a word ?
Anyone got the ni7?
ni7 sounds like what its called when u talk into a cassette recorder for ur secretary to then type up later
nope, not me yet....
now if only I could find the le words
Thank you carleekat! What a weird word
did u get the ni 7 alleyn?
ok.. good
I have one le word. Picture someone walking around crying, "Unclean, unclean"
Takes me to half way
i have that one mg..but thanks
ni7 means when eyelid-like structures go across, like a cat's inner lids. Or a crocodile's.
GM all
Hi kje!
morning kje
kkkjjjjjjjjjjeeeeeeeeee !! squeeee !!
ah monkey - thanks, don't have that ni...
oh..my one cat does that ALL time... when dosy
hi aussie - how's the bum?
oh lol..... lets not go into that !!
It started out as a joke, and snowballed onto my head, very fast !
a simple "fine" would have done aussie - now you will have piqued everyone's curiosity
It's true. You did.
**blushing in corner** not telling today....
It also produced the image of someone's bum snowballing into the head... shudder.
wow - q's aren't worth much in this game!
LOL monkey
**moves image out of MG's head**
how is hemen not a word...all us women married to one...
or hehe...
we hehe in here all the time
I hehed yesterday quite a bit
me too !
*wondering how many babblers have monkey in their name*
phantom: telemetry
i have a purring sucky kittie stretched out on my lap
It's an interesting question. I use Monkey all the time and had no idea of the connection here when I signed up. It's a coincidence.
the monkey's live between the end of the finger and the middle of the finger ;-)
Good one. My favorite is still lepton, but helminth keeps popping up too.
LICKETY !!!! {{{{hugs Lickety and MrP}}}}
hey there lickety.... how r things?
ah - angel - what DO you do for a living with a word like that!
hi, Lickety!
hey all - I'm being naughty - distractions from work
its thursday... why not....
good for you lickety - join the rest of us naughty people
I'm supposed to be at school, but Walter couldn't go to daycare today.
nothing wrong with a little naughty now and again Lickety...
Grabbing a beer. Brb.
and there she goes again
setup some good fireworks videos for the next few weeks
nothing to do with telemetry, kje, I assure you. I just watch a lot of history documentaries. My husband is a history buff.
and there she goes again
yay lickety!
**not saying anything more** **zipped lips**
OK - thought we had another medical person here
I am a social worker by profession, kje
I'm in the last quarter of the second year of getting a 2 1/2 year Bachelor's in Social Work!
In Dutch.
can anyone explain that fried guts ch clue to me please?
close enough angel
good for you, Monkey. I hold a BSW and a Master's in Social Work.
fried guts? missed that one...
fried guts?
I may go that far. Long immigration story aside, I got started late and I'm 39 with a toddler, so I may well take a just working break after I get my diploma.
OK - I'm stymied with that one
I missed the guts clue too but I know what it might mean and I'm looking...
in the chat archive, the ch6 was clued as fried intestines; googled "fried intestines" and regretted it instantly
chittlins?
LOL jaz
UNE !!
I was 34 when I started working on my BSW, a single parent of a preteen and a 6 yo.
LOL une
Une, that's what I thought but that doesn't work.
aussieme!
:-)
There you go, it IS possible!
one ch6 is first part of an area of science that works with acids, bases, salts, etc
another one is what the bells did on sunday
I do now have a ch6; it's an insect's case, or a lobster's.
it took me 6 and a half years, part time, to get my BSW.
and the last one is the ch4+ not out
but definitely not chitlins
OK - but none of those are fried guts - maybe they thought the insect skin was chitlin
chitlin gravy
This is an accellerated program I have come to see was too ambitious, especially in a foreign language, but I'm hanging in there. LOTS of hands-on work in the field.
my kids were upset with me because they never got to stay home alone when I wan in school. I arranged my schedule around theirs, so I was home when they were...
oh, that's somebody who's VERY confused! LOL
yeah or maybe i misread the clue
Walter is always home or at daycare. He's too young to be home alone anyway, though.
Monkey, where do you live?
poor unabused children - how will they make it through life!
I'm in the Netherlands. Fully naturalized, Walter was born a little Dutch boy.
anyway got it now thanks heaps to carlee and the rest
"Longing to be Latchkey"
: a memoir

Proper noun.
its an adjective...like ce**ic knot
ce**ic music
what is your native language, Monkey?
une!!! what a cute pic!!! - circa 1970s?
I'm on your side. I hate this dictionary.
kje, no . . . . 1950s :-)
bloody freaking dumb dictionary
Does anyone have the le6,27?
I'm a native English speaker, but I'm getting my degree in Dutch. Lots of report writing, interviews, studies... sigh.
oops
past tense of the le4 above
le6/27 is past tense of le4/6
Yikes. I'd have a terrible time, I think, with Dutch.
no, but now I know there IS a le 6/27 - will look
I do not, Alleyn.
Dutch is FREAKY. Trust me.
thanks for th 2 le's
this community where I live is VERY heavy populated by dutch...

hi everyone can i get a clue please for the te 6/24
Monkey: I decided not to study for my Licensing exam; I was recovering from major surgery, and was going to study while I was healing, but then I thought if I haven't learned social work in 6 and a half years, I'm not going to learn it in 6 weeks. My mother gave me the money for the licensing exam fee as a graduation gift, and I saved up enough to take the exam again if I needed to...I needed a score of 70 to pass the exam; I passed it the first time with a score of 91.
Don't have that one yet, Anne.
Oh, well done!

hello babble land!
mornin pink!
hello, pink
I need a clue please for the middle ch 6. I am not seeing something there. Thanks.
On Thursdays I make rounds (if we have someone in the hospital) and start in the office at 11. We have no kids in the hospital and no newborns, so I slept til 8, instead of 6, yippee!
Hi Pink
BR--is winter over in North Dakota?
the only CH6 i have so far is past-tense of the CH5 before it... but im only halfway through
middle ch 6 is a past tense for the dingalings
Spring has been hard in the Dakotas this year.
68 yesterday with 30 mph winds
ok, Dr Scrabbler, i have a question for you...
I did a turn instead of a loop. ty babble
Babble, are you from ND?
How do you know the length of the word you are missing

Well, my hubby is there as I type. And I'm from SD.
Back again. Still not got the pe7, 32 or the ta7,28. Any clues going?

Go ahead, Eva.
This grid is a stinker.
pe 7 -- extend the preceding pe4 with consumed
Here here
Thank you Babble
ok, so last weekend, for 2 days, my ankles were all swollen out of nowhere. not sore, just swollen. it did happen to be "that week" though that has never happened to me before. ive recently started taking my OTC allergy meds for the season + the weather was very roller-coaster-y for a few days... just wondering if this is something i should be concerned about? (i do plan on heading to my doc if it happens again)
ta 7 -- rifleman: chuck ta**er and consumed
ty babb
thanks for both of those, BRabble!
wrong clue: chuck co**ers
If you can have antifreeze why not anitmelt!
Brill clues. Thank you. Sevens blanked out.
christini -- i like your logic!
Not a word, spelled correctly or not!
antifreeze is when you steal her pajamas ... what would antimelt be? put her in the microwave?
quat
Eva--it sounds like water retention because of "that week" and I suspect you spent more time on your feet, thus gravity took effect.
quan
Oh gosh, sorry!
Scrabbler -- thats what I was thinking...just had me utterly freaked out because nothing like that has ever happened before... I appreciate your thoughts. :)
some stylish argyle compression hosery might help
hello all! anyone got a clue for the ec 7/36 please?
nooooooooooooooooooooooo!! im too young for compression hosiery!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ec builds on the ec 4. It starts with the right e.
Hahaha, Eva
im not even 30 yet!!
ty merk, am lookiing
ec + french young girl ending or the magazine
During residency, when we would be on our feet for almost 36 hrs straight, we would wear Jobst stockings, and they actually feel great to wear.
beatles song ec 7 add: mi*****, my belle
na6 please, please, please?? my last one and I've been stuck on it for over 20 minutes... ok, well, look, walk away, look again, walk away, etc... I'm sure I need to be fished but...
My brain puts me in a rut. If a word builds on a prior one, I have a tendancy to go that direction and forget that it can start elsewhere.
thanks pink! that did it!
and BR! ;D
Amelu--you should have asked for help 15 min ago!
yw conx!
na 7 -- na* king cole and a pismire
Or, I also look in the dictionary
LOL! That was probably a "walk away" moment!
na 6, sorry
Hi folks! Back very temporarily.
Amelu, no sense getting your BP up and wasting time.
hey mg!
And for one last clue..... re 7/32? please?
Hi MG--I just e-mailed you back. How is Walter today?
OMG! I swear I've tried that one 15 times! *smacks forehead* TY, TY, TY BR & Scrabs!!!
true, BP doesn't need the assist, LOL!
re 7 -- union re* and na* king cole and a pismire
but that's fireworks for me. Thanks again!
lot of those little critters around
Need more clue for ec7
Hmmmph. He has a lowgrade fever that comes and goes and he has a sore arm and side. Ans he is very grumpy, and keeps saying we have to go out to a playground even though he has no stamina and is white as a sheet. And he periodically just very suddenly starts crying and buries his head in his arms in my lap and will not explain what's wrong nor allow himself to be put down. Sigh.
Yahoo Amelu!
congrats, amelu
ty
Are you putting ice on his arm?
sounds like a doctors visit, to me
ec7 sounds kina like a song that Ringo Starr sang...
hints for the lower-L word?
At least he's drinking lots of juice and I managed to get some bread and butter down him. ......... No, there is no sign of a localized raction and he doen't lik eme messing with the arm art all. It really seems to be a more whole-arm muscular reaction like the one I had long ago. Aching and sore when moved, from ribs to fingertips. But the injection site is not red or warm or puffy or anything at all. Looke just fine.
ec7 ending sounds like something you'd pick up by the sea shore...
I have to get ready for work--bye all, enjoy the day.
le 5 --and harper valley ***
Thazzy, he had an inocculation yesterday and he's better today. But if anything changes for the worse I will be calling the doctor.
Great clue, amelu! Except now I have that song stuck in my head.
thats from the upper-L
Bye,Scrabbler! Thanks for putting up with me!
That did it. Thanks amelu.
NM, i found it. :)
the lower-L is to allow + opposite of down
sorry, I do, too... LOL! yw
thanks BR!! had to work for it tho'!!!! I got it in the end and now there's lots of pretty fireworks. :)
Yay!
congrats, ConX
ahh, I remember one of my inoc...... The needle broke off in my arm.
Ooooh, NASTY! I think in Walter's case the bolus of meds just got pumped right into a muscle.
thanks all! must be off - prep for workshop this weekend! see you next week. :) bye
be well, ConX
I mean, that's why they call it IM, but if you hit just the wrong spot, pretty common, it can pack the stuff in and force the muscle fibers aside.
i never had an innoc issue, but i had a few blood-drawing issues... once, a male nurse was drawing blood for a test + he couldnt get any blood to come out. instead of trying a different spot, he just just turned the needle while it was still in my arm to get a better position!!
Bye, ConX!
Nasty, Isay again!
think ill skip blood work from now on lol
When my grandfather had a job in WWII drawing blood from Marines for a field hospital, when the buffer ones would faint he'd get out his watercolor set and paint an enormous haematoma.
yeah. he was surprised when i ended up almost crushing his hand!
what is a pismire?
Can we change the subject lest there be those of a squeamish nature?
a pismire is an emmet
Sure thing!
?
or, a picnic pest
oh, thanks! lol
why are we queasy?
too much blood talk
Thank you.
eh..blood..no big deal..its red
it is snowing cats and dogs here. or at least guinea pigs

lol jac, and i'm at the gym working out!
Thanks, Eva. It was for the 60s th5/14 the other day.

Okay - what you do with your eyelid when you flirt with someone.
Or, I could have just said, it means wink.
still don't get it sorry judi
ni7 has the same structure as a word beginning d - as practised by tyrants and bosses with secretaries taking down their every word.
Much better clue than mine.

Oh ,you should. It was in Belfast (Drawing office of Harland and Wolff) last Sunday. I only hope they had heaters on. The time I was there, as part of the Titanic exhibition, the place would have foundered you.

*grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!* if friends end up being so much work and drama, are they really even friends??
nope..they aren't...they leaches
Hi Eva, whats wrong
this has been a hell week. put our dog down on saturday, sick for a few days. not good
you ok, eva?
uh-oh eva
our friends bday was this past weekend + apparently shes upset with just about all of us...
what's the matter Eva ?
i'm sorry, jasmine - that hurts
Sorry to hear that nbj, thats sad
work and drama sounds like family, not friends
am sorry nbj
she chose this really pretentious restaurant that no one wanted to go to, but we did, since it was her bday. they treated us really badly there, but we all dealt with the jerks so she wouldnt have to.
then we went to his one bar that was really great + fun...there was seating, there were things to do + it seemed like everyone was having fun....
except her
what happened?
well, she decided she wanted to go somewhere else + we ended up following her to 2 other bars which were jam-packed + even worse than the restaurant. my BF + i ended up leaving along with her cousin because we were tired + just werent into those kinds of places.
our other friends ended up leaving a while after that.
Sounds the best thing to do
apparently now, we arent good friends because we didnt follow her around all night to these places that NO ONE enjoyed.
so she's peeved?
not even point out that she neither came out for my bday nor gave me a gift.
well that's a big grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Then she is no friend
and you consider her a friend...why?
sounds like birthdayzilla
Caitlyn summed it up pretty well !
lol "zilla"
hey phaeton
ni 7?
hello all
i understand how upsetting it is when you feel like theres stress + drama on your bday, but you cant expect people to follow you around DC bars all night... and now, shes saying she feels hopeless, andshes reevaluating her friendships....
hello all
Hi Nonnie and phaeton
hi phae and Nonnie !
does three y.o. imitation- "ITS MY BIRTHDAY AND I WANNA"
hey noonie
shes really a friend of my BF + our "group" of friends... if it werent for everyone else, i probably wouldnt ever spend any time with her...
Eva, perhaps it is time her "friends" have a long talk with her.
that's way toooooooooo much drama
stop doing what everyone else does
gotta go - bbs - bye all
she basically spent the whole night trying to do whatever her one "gentleman friend wanted to do, because she was hoping to get some. (nevermind that the guy was a total weirdo jerk) and shes also mad that none of us were talking to him that night...
bye bye montreal
nan ni7 ni cons and t4/4

Handing katie a large glass of red
LOL monty
what kind of job is that? crazy
We had an away day last week and one of the temps got so drunk she spent the next day in the toilet, sometimes not having alcohol at work can be a good thing :-)
what is an away day?
Thank Cait
y old job we had "french friday" every friday at lunch with wine baguette, cheese, pate - now THAT is the way to live : )
But police really shouldnt drink at work

will concede there are some jobs where alcohol should not be.... but in academia there is a long history of a little spot of sherry in the cabinet : )
because i cannot get anything to upload no matter what i try. but also i like to call it a social commentary in these political times
LOL
LOL nbj
lunch break clue---could someone clue the lone C?
yes jasmine - come up with some better excuse than that you can't work the computer - much better reflection on you - LOL
you're really a physics nut & it's in honor of the coiner of " black hole" who dies 2 or 3 days ago
ci 6/24 - PT of urban place?
that one in hte corner is opposite of countried
urbaned for the lone ci 6/24
yeah, once i did say it was about black holes.
I went through uploading with Mari last week and it was very very painful!!
social commentary... i like that... but uploading failures are possibly caused by the size of the pics you want to upload... it won't take above an unspecified size...
thanks
nbj, are these times more political than others?
Hi harp

H2B is slamming draws upstairs, must go sooth ego!!!!
or was that lucille ball?
hi rael ! , zenmed and krista!
if this was done in the past, we never would have had some of our best leaders; there's something about politics that seems to demand people with not the best personal morals
hey Monty, nice to see you
hello montreal :)
oh yeah, rael, what does that company make/do?
like your icon krista - and, yes nice to see you too - it's been a while...
I'm of the unpopular opinion that one CAN be an effective public leader, while being a creep in private life..our founding fathers and more recent pressies were not angels
we sell cosmetics, skin potions...
Outbreak of peace, phew!!
i don't entirely get the zen distinction.
I have to go and get supper ready, see you tomorrow, take care all bye

i just played some "scramble" on facebook. there are at least 5 versions of it: big, small, fast, slow, etc
Hi again. We'll be off to bed soon on this continent. For those who were on before, though, Walter has only had low-grade fever today and his arm almost doesn't seem to be bothering him. He kept acting pretty normal for upto half an hour at a time, running around wildly and boiuncing off the sofa and all, but then would be worn out completely, so I'm keeping him home tomorrow and skipping my apprenticeship. He had a headache at bedtime but Tyleol fixed it right up and he's sound asleep.
in other words, another excellent timewaster !
see you later and hope he's better soon, monkey!
hi all, back to hopefully finish.. sounds good, Monkey.. glad Walter is doing better!
Thanks, and I'm sure he'll be fine for the weekend. In case you didn't know what's up he had some fairly heavy side effects from yesterdays immunization. But that's the last one 'til he's9.

positive thinking, hurshy, sleep well the night before, etc.
a nasty but! lol
thankn you Knight Time
i would anticipate that it would go well. i think once i get an interview, i can handle things, it's just the submitting resumes, following up, etc, trying to get one in the first place, that bugs me the most.
thank*
but maybe i'm overconfident since i never went on job interviews until the job i have now, and the first one i went on, i got.
ME 5 please
overconfident is not always bad - confidence sells

MLFan - yes the robins are out in force today - 70 degrees here
yw, JBV
my icon is HILARIOUS perhaps, but it is NOT HILLARIOUS
ya know, this whole obama, hillary thing just proves how the 2 party laws are hurting america. usually when its this contested, the party will just split and have 3 parties for a short time, but since neither one wants to lose taxpayer contributions, they both still wanna call themselves democrats..
Hi Apple
ec 7 + the girls name mic*****
WE GOT IT hurshy!!!
JBV Pretty nice here today too.. we have a bird feeder in our backyard and we see some too sometimes they are so pretty:0)

this country is not a 2 party system, many people dont realize that. there are policies that limit debates and whatnot to the 'top 2 parties' and now that is hurting america imho because more worthy candidates can't compete nor can a divided party divide like it needs to
are you communicating per megaphone?
well, i'm not going to get you fired trying to get you on the show
nope
ch 6/30, the other one, is past tense
Oooh--how about the first ch6/30? got the second.

yeah not until someone more daring decides that a stalemate like this can be fixed by dividing... or someone with more money than any presidential candidate has a right to have decides to spend enough to do anything about it. but they didnt make the money spending it that way so *sigh*

the prophecy was that this special One would restore balance to the force. and at the time of the first movie, there are lots and lots of good jedi and have been for a long time. so like, how come it never occurs to ANY of them that bringing balance to the force is not going to be a good thing???
need 1 re and 1 (far left r)
good question hursh....
duh - they haven't been listening very well to the force - hence the continued "listen to the force" chant
here's another one
oh no
head h
the phrase is "Use The Force"
go on hursh
"nope" -both - listen to the force luke
yoda told luke not to leave and stuff, and like, luke pretty much failed to follow all his advice, yet, he still did not turn to the dark side. his father, on the other hand, whilst ignoring similar types of advice, DID turn to the dark side. how is that fair? and why was yoda wrong with luke?
Luke did lose his hand - it has to do with fear and anger - blonde guys are never afraid or angry
they both had anger, and losing your hand is so not the same as turning over to the dark side!
far - e and far r???
el5 el**entary school + 3rd vowel
Luke wasn't AS afraid or AS angry. Recessive genes for the win!
but it was anikin, in the end, who really saved the day!
thanks jess
anikin IS Darth
re5's to allow(or rent) again; to force back or disgust; re7 a snake is a re**ile + picnic pest
so is the lesson supposed to be that parental love is the strongest force for good in the universe? and if so, why were jedi not supposed to marry and have families?
de5 please
Hey! Any clues for the first ch5/16 or the last ch6/24?
thanks jess - had the picnic pest one - weird word
good evening all!

hurshy - - did you watch last week's 6 nights of Saga?
TY.
parts. i have 'em all on tape/DVD of course.
ty on ch6
TY again. Weird words
yw
they were playing one per night in chronological order last week - I'm a fan but never got very worried about the details - I have 4 kids - too many real details to worry about
padme went about things entirely the wrong way, too. she claimed to think that a relationship with anikin would be a really bad idea, and yet she wears gorgeous dresses and does up her hair and runs in meadows and sits by fireplaces with him. what does she THINK is going to happen??? if you really want to keep a man away, you wear grey sweatsuits everyday and don't shower.
yeah - and talk about a pediphile (sp)
ta 5/14 please?
to be fair, lexleeanne, she hadn't aged at all...
a color
what are you talkin bout
she met him when he was 7 and she was a QUEEN - I guess he was her concubine

Its a wonderful day...how about pe6/21?
she smiled at him in that way that says she was going to get him
I teach HS - sickens me a lot
ohhh star wars is cool
!
pe6/21?
a) star wars is not a tv show
sorry
Last pe6/21!
I have HS boys hitting on me - even though I'm old - I just laugh at them and ask them if they wanna date their Mom
didnt know what you were talkin bout at the time
british gasoline change the last vowel
turns em off fast
b) he was a jedi, not a high school student, it's a completely different culture, and you can't really compare - it's apples and oranges.
yes please
OK, back to find my one last lonely word ....
Star wars..wonderful star wars....
petre
Ah! A Bird! TR
still if she WANTED to push him away she should have not showered.
oops
Oops. TY
STAR WARS !! Padme was only 14 when she was Queen of Naboo, so only 7 years older than Anakin !!
star wars rocks but if u watch them too many times they get old
HS school can be a lot like Jedi - we have ROTC
How about... the last two he4/6? You are too kind.
but anakin is still young
who says she was 14????
blasphemy Andie
yeah how do you know she is fourteen
all the books, the website, everything !

Can you see the show?.... Fireworks!
if you were 7 years younger than someone would you marry them
he4/6 last 4 letters of my lisp clue
Hi aussieeeeee

women live 7 years longer than men, on average, so it's best to marry a man who is 7 years younger, so that you can die at the same time.
about the showering thing - there were handmaids whose job it was to clean her coiuffe (sp) her and dress her - she can't put her country through that kind of unemployment while they are fighting a way
sorry Aussie
ah - so he was a cradle robber?
my husband is younger them me but only by a year
YES!!! Hurshy!
hi guys
*war
erm, no.... I was 20, he was 28...
My mom is 2 years older than my dad
Hey Lind !!
im sorry aussie
aussie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they've been married 53 years
thaz - you didn't meet him as a horney teen while he was pottytraining
LIND!!!!
its ok Andie...
KJE!!!!!!!!!!
Ah! ** myself and I. Got it.
she wasn't INTERESTED in him THEN
ROFL
My Grandma was 14 years older than my Grandfather....
LOL kje!!
she wasn't even interested in him when she saw him again the second time. he had to woooooo her
How do you know she was incognito half of the time
that is a man's job
yeah whatever that means
I want to be wooooooed
LOL kje!!
who will woo
she is jud weird
**sends wooing vibes out to kje's other half**
I've been married for 10 years and I want to be wooed too
woo woo
14 years for me...
clues for the pe7 and the pe 6/21 please
i think the age difference can go up as far as 15ish, depending on the actual ages of the parties involved, before it starts to be weird.
and ANGER is such an great whooooing tool
I am always being wooed!! after 25 years!!
congrats aussie
age is relative
pe7 1st pe4/5 + consumed
my friend is 29, her hubby is 53, and it doesnt even look weird !
hmm - I'm not with you there hurshy - a 50 year old man chasing a 35 year old woman....kinda creepy
thats nice Lind !
aaahhh Lindy - sweet!!!
yeah my friends parents are 11 years apart
LOL thanks guys
chasing = creepy, yes, but if they happen to meet and get along and stuff...
it all depends on the person in the end
there are 3 pe6/21s
my friends have been married for 9 years...
i think the age gaps seems bigger the older the couple gets!!
need the last one--sorry
pe6 bird, word looks like british term for fuel, change last vowel
the age gap probably seems bigger at either end of the spectrum - very young and very old
ok, am off to bed now.... going to RAF Duxford tomorrow on my day off.....
yeah i agree kje
bye aussie have a nice day off
my personal limit would be 15ish, because, beyond that, i start to wonder a) if the guy is the older one, is she a gold-digger, b) if the woman is the older one, why would a 35 year old man want a 50 year old woman? c) 15 is around the age where someone really could be the other one's parent (time-wise) and d) when they do get very old it will be a big diff in their activity levels etc as you say.
yeah cause in the rennasance they were like twenty years apart so the number got smaller as time went on
good night Aussie, I'm off to, got to pick up my young'un
am going to try Lind...
have fun aussie!!!
night aussie
take care
bye jess

Scuba, one of the le5/12s.... think a man in bandages with oarts falling off shouting Unclean!!
then again, some dude on TV said he thinks by 2050 they will have overcome aging to such an extent that people will be able to live 1000 year lives (barring accident) - in which case, you might start having couples with hundred year gaps!
le5/12 le4/5 + 1st vowel

so quiz - how long did the oldest human live (that we can verify) and what country did they live in?
well i hope so, kje!
Glub glub....I'm 'diving' in!
so we aren't talking bible days
if there's anything scarier than dying, it's... not dying
she was a live wire btw
no bible thazzy
ok cause they say they lived to be over 900
she flirted with a man I met 2 years before she died....
woo hoo !!!!
okay - "m back - miss me??
(methuselah, 969, would be the one who lived the longest in the bible, thazzy)
Jeane Calment - French woman, died in 1997 at age 122... spry lady up until the end...
definately lex!!
my father had a theory on that. he figured they went by the moon cycle, that would upt most of them in the normal age ranges
Actually, Hurshy, Enoch lived longer because the Bible says he never died but went straight to heaven
she flirted with him 2 years before she died, or you met him 2 years before she died?
*put
no way am i living that long kje!!
Yet it also says that no one entered heaven before Jesus
well sure but if you count heaven there is no longest. years on earth, methuselah wins
Where does it say that Thazzy?
it does not say that, not so very clearly anyway!
well he** must have been pretty full then thazzy!!
she flirted with him... she used a hearing aide but would get tired of it and take it out...when he was interviewing her, she took it out and said... I like it better this way, when the men come close and talk in my ear
Yes true Hurshy
jesus himself said it. I'[d have to go find my bible and look it up
how old was HE, kje? :)
how on earth did we get onto talking about the bible?!!?
tied
sorry, my fault
oops
thanks python!!
=)
did think i had heard the doorbell ring thazz!! LOLOL
in his 50s - he studies supercentenarians
Jesus said that "no man comes to the Father except by me" - nowhere in there is there anything about before, after, or time in any sense. placing linear time implications on such a statement would be a product of a limited human point of view.
fl6 please
supercentenarians! now there's a word!!!
fl6 rhymes with french peach
FL6 sounds like human skin
do they wear tights and capes???
thanks thazzy
thanks
also interviewed the oldest living man who rode his bike to a nursing home at 100 and told them he thought it was time he checked in... died at 113 - stopped driving at 108 because the slow drivers annoyed him - LOL
TA 7 nayone?
LOL kje
my mother in law is going to be 88 in a couple of months and she only stopped doing meals on wheels a few years ago!!

he said his secret to longevity was smoking good cigars, exercising, and having a drink (forget if it was scotch or whiskey that he said) every night
ta7 ta+double cons+consumed
hi bea & thanks!
my dad says almost all the traffic problems in the world are caused by old men in hats and old ladies with blue hair. and it's so true, i get annoyed with a slow driver, and i look, and it's an OLD MAN IN A HAT! of course that does not mean that all old men are slow drivers. but it is funny how right my dad was.
Hey Lind! YW
the oldest person I ever met was 106 year old african american lady who told us about what it was like growing up in the south - fascinating
ta7
i'm never getting that old either kje!!
I met her in the hospital and she would make us bring her chocolates if we wanted to sit and talk with her
Just clued it at 7:10 Ti.
fijani it was clued at 7.10pm
and when she was done, she'd shoo us off
my granfather is... gosh, somewhere between 85 and 90. he had a quadruple bypass surgery a couple years ago. but he is still not retired, and he still does ice dancing!
*tijani sorry!! LOL
LOL kje
my mother in law is going to be 88 in june hursh
getting old isn't so bad as long as you can stay as sharp as those people did
good for him hursh - I think I would like him - I love those spunky older people : )
i am already not as sharp as them kje, no chance of staying that way!!
true - I feel that way sometimes - LOL
LOL
my dad is 84. Sold his mitsubishi turbo a few months ago to get a "more pratical car". Stop snowskiing at 72
One of my mentors use to say, if there is a fountain of youth, it is exercise - I think Hurshy's grandfather and the old man who rode his bike to the nursing home at 100 are testaments to that
use it or lose it
yep
and of course - babble helps us use it - LOL - we'll all be smart forever
Hi kids
hi scrabs
hi scrabbler
hello my babble friends!
funny choice of words scrabb

TY
hi everyone
hi dawg!
Hi dawger
As for Banff, it IS beautiful, but I don't care for the touristy nature of it. I prefer Jasper, further north... it's a quieter, more leisurely village, by comparison (still caters to tourists, though)
could i have a clue for na6?
hey dog
thanks for the info lady...will keep that in mind
hi dawg
Banff and Jasper and that entire corridor are stunning.
na 6 - having to do with water
you see more wildlife in Jasper, too, in my opinion
na+ color the sun gives skin + consonant
na + teenage mu**** ninja turtles
Natts there is a old joke on the pronunciation of Banff you have to pronounce bothe f's separately ban F F (using the ffff sound)
ch6, 24 ?
past tense for metropolis
lol.. really aknitter? I never heard that!
ch4.6 + not out, Lady
previous ch 4/6 + opp of out

eeew, you don't want any part of me tonight, kje. i got a cold
aaaawww ((((((((dawg)))))))))
there's a beautiful parkway (highway) between Jasper and Banff... Columbia Ice Fields along there, and plenty of scenery and wildlife
pg wodehouse used to do these hilarious bits in his books where someone would say "hi, i'm edward bassington-ffrench" and then the other person would say "how do you do, mr. bassington-french", and edward would say, "no, bassington-ffrench". even though, you wouldn't pronounce it any differently.
bless you (was that a sneeze?)
nothing worse than a spring head cold! dratted hubby gave it to me.
and then of course there's Psmith.

Hi Dan

Wild Wonderful West Virginia - LOL
I'd like both, myself... but I'm more for Pacific than Atlantic
ni 7 anyone?
our trees don't change colors! they don't even have leaves most of the time...but they aren't pines!
thank you scrabs!
i enjoyed the northeast forests, but i prefer the northwest.
I like the rocky shores and cliffs of the northwest

Glad to hear it, scrabs. And, glad the laptop makes the closeness possible--that works for me and the cat, too
YAY, natt!
i made up words earlier...then got mad that enable wouldn't take them. I mean really! they have other made up words in there, why not mine?
Has anyone seen/heard from herinfernalady? If so, please say hi for me! Thanks.
hi pam!
I amgiving Callie all of the SHredded Wheat Bite-Size pieces that she wants. She can hop into the other room with the desktop, but I like watching TV AND Babbling.
haven't seen her recently pam...DR and I were talking about that on the phone earlier today
agree dan - been making up words all day
I have not seen Herinfernallady in over a wk--was she moving?
i often wonder how people babble with cats on their laps etc.... guess it must be laptops... my cats try once and a while, but none of us are particularly happy with the situation, so they just wait patiently for me to stop babblng so they can curl up while I read or watch tv. do i need a laptop?
may I have the clue for the other "f" word. I have the worry one
funny i was wondering about her just this morning
my favorite was "cheminate"...to exude chemicals
kind of like the word for skin, spelled a bit wrong mom
fl6/33...french for arrow
fl sounds like a french form of the word for skin
it is a f word mom
thanks Dorens, will go look for it

I don't Phandmd, sorry
na + sun color to skin + cross scrabs
na + Toddlers have temper ****rums.
doesn't it just seem weird when medications on TV are advertised with risk-free trials? a) if it's a medication, it can't be risk free - maybe they'll give your money back, so it's FINANCIAL risk free, but it can't be HEALTH risk-free b)...don't crack dealers give you your first hit free?
err phand
hi phan
na+ mu**** turtles, Phan
yea hurshy
thanks Aknitter and Scrabbler
an 5 x 2
hey knitter...don't click on the ?. It just messes up your computer, or so I've heard
an5/12 x2
why do I always forget that one? Thnx, Lbd
I don't think they should be able to advertise Rx meds on TV - we are one of the few countries that allow it
yai heard that too dan lol
i totally agree kje
i make a list and later google them
you still can't get the meds without talking to a physician.
I like the RX ads...especially the E.D. ones...that's how I know when to change the channel!
yes, but patients do not understand what they are asking for - and completely buy into the advertising
Yep, I got my first hit of crack for free, although there were some health risks.
the one i just saw wasn't Rx, it was Lipozene - get rid of stubborn fat without changing your lifestyle at all - it's so easy!
tha must be a girl thing...i had to pay for my first hit of crack...i did get a discount though
scrabbs? here I thought you were such an innocent!
someday you'll pay more attention to that dan - LOL
still the ads are misleading. when epogen (procrit) first came along for chemo patients to boost their energy all the patients wanted it and those who did get it wondered why they were not as good as the people in the commercials --- not fair i say
Drug ads are bad for consumers and docs. And new drugs should not be used for 5-7 yrs, UNLESS they are life-saving. Adverse effects are revealed when drugs are mass-used.
do you change personalities for each grid, scrabbs?
hi all, back to find my last 19
I hope not kje! so far, so good!
hi peri
wb peri
but if they weren't used, how would we find out about the adverse effects (not disagreeing, just curious)?
LOL
Big Pharma is a ruthless, manipulative, conniving, lying, wealthy MONSTER!
me too Peri LOL
welcome back, peri
hi peri!
Hi Peri
btw - The Never Ending Story is on ION, if you have that channel...
hi all
the first one?
hi ardilla!
an5/12 I need 2
{{Ardilla}} how are you?
yes, the original
i agree scrabs
I think I've seen that story before, hurshy, it never ends...
I saw that when I was flipping through channels. I am watching The Office on NBC now.
Hi Ardilla
kinda like this grid...never ends
agree scrabb - the bane of my existence as a geriatrician (and my patients') - polypharmacy
japanese animation for one Marilyn
it's already at the bit where he's with that old elf couple
an5/12 31 is japanese cartoons
hi ard
hi, ardilla and hursh!
an5/12 #2 is the same as #1 with a different vowel at the end
an5/12 is the word for japanese cartooning.. the other ends with the next vowel
ahh we have opposite ends of the age spectrum pediatrician and geriatrician
Natts, my personality is consistent--silly, goofy and revealing of my rich, inner fantasy life.
i love Falcor
I think too many patients think the ads and some internet searches make them experts/knowledgable. And "new" drugs are "sexy."
an5/12 #3 is an + *** tac toe
thanks Dan
hi pam
i'm okay just woke up & showered
hi, limd
"there's such a lot of different annes in me"
+lind
yw Mom
I'm just teasing, scrabbs. Weren't you the one who didn't know about the pantie-remover and stair-climber? Now you get crack for free?
Anne of Green Gables?
well then, Top of the Mornin' to Ya
pantie remover and stair climber?
it amazes me how many patients will believe what they see on the computer or on TV
KJE! Rilke! You just rock, doc!
yes, sc. i was comparing you to her. i feel same way. :)
pantie remover? don't you just use whiskey for that?
annie oakley?
DAN!!!
I can't even imagine, aknitter. And, how frustrating that must be!
thanks for reading pam : ) (((pam)))
sorry! I thought that the kids were in the other room...it won't happen again!
alcohol, yes dan, but the specific one deemed "pantie remover" was historically gin
pe 7?
Ah, yes, Natts. I actually am very naive, innocent and gullible. I have done nothing naughty in my life, well in my real life. My fantasy life, especiallywith my fiance, George CLooney, is another story.
(((KJE)))
ah - did not know that lady
ah, I see Scrabbs ;)
the things I learn on babble....
LOL ... don't we all, kje, don't we all
thank you Lady...thatt must be why it doesn't work for me
phandmd, take the pe 4/5 and past tense of eat

I'm just waiting for Salma Hayak to figure out i'm saving myself for her
Once I got on a down-escalator and changed my mind quickly, so I turned around and tried to run up--I tripped, did a belly-flopper, and got bruised up. My nephew saw it from the top and a guy going up couldn't believe what he saw. I saw it done in movies, like when the police run after bad guys.
oops... that could be, hurshy... I'm going to have to brush up on my biology
Salma does not hold a candle to me LOL
I don't know japanese chinese spanish or french or italian except for kabeesh !! I think I will stick with scramble.......

MLF, Lickety gets the new grid the same time the rest of us do...

have you ever run the numbers on the largest possible grid lickety? or would that program take up too much runtime?
My brother Danf63 emailed it to me in case I didn't finish
lickety, what kind of office is it that you dont have to wear shoes
stid - that topic came up a while ago, and someone else devised a much bigger grid that me - I think it was getting close to 1000 words
it's solvable - but indeed slows things down a little.
*faints and curls into a little sobbing heap* please no.... not big like that... nooooo *wail*
crpw - carpeted office
you realize, I shall have nightmares for days after this!
crpw - if someone pushes hard enough, they will get their way. In fact he used to lie on the floor in meetings when he had an injured back
I go barefoot at home inside... but too many blackberry vines outside
oh stidmama - the number of words you have entered in the last few years is enough for any lifetime. What's 1000 more?
sounds like a real attention getter, i would not like working with someone who didnt wear shoes
ha! you got me there, lickety! :-D
may I ask if mrp is doing okay? I haven't seen or heard from her in ages... *concerned mama look*
still dont have the an 5 12 words. any clues welcome.
