it's interesting how different people approach the grid - would be fascinating to study - some like to get all the big words first...others go alphabetical...others start across rows or columns, etc - mine is whatever I see 1st

I think there really is someting in the babble approach. Speaks on our differing natures. I do anything I can see (trying to get half on my own), then use the list from Z to A (Hate going A to Z!). Big or little makes no difference to me.
