guilt is a lousy thing to use. I remember my mother always threatening to go kill herself bu jumping under a train if I didn't adapt to her weird expectations. And me, at 16, finally gathering enough courage to tell her to go do it, and if she wanted me to look up a nice train in the time table. It was ugly, but man, it was liberating too.

man, don't you hate threats like that. It is so sick. We tell our kids, if they are really being a pest, that if they don't start behaving, they cannot have computer time or telly time for x days. And that is not a threat, but a real promise, lol.

what do the tile stats mean?
The tile stats mirror the grid above. For instance, in the top F it says 0/17 - it means that there are 17 word beginning with f coming from that tile.

As you fill in words, you will see the numbers changing, so if you get 5 f words, it will change to 5/17. If you get all the words, the tile turns grey.
It's a means of keeping track of your progress (or lack of it)

actually if you keep the fine-combing up to them religiously every day for 21 days (the breeding cycle) you clear the lice just as effectively as using electric combs or chemicals.

reallly cheap conditioner, where you can use a whole bottle on one head, leave it on for a while, like half an hour, then comb out with nit comb. much easier to use comb, not bad for the hair, and works, i promise, you justdrown the little guys out, and it detatches the eggs, cause its stupily large amounts of conditioner.
This one has another 19 hours to run.

Night calls from farmers are mostly serious, those from the public vary. Some just want advice, others it's a definite emergency and nobody minds that. But being brought to the phone to listen to a dog coughing/wheezing is a strange experience.

kid I was talking about last night that got hit by the car? Seems he was getting an ice dream off the ice cream truck, turned around and darted out into the road. Car hit him and he flew around 25 ft. into the air, dove for the curb and never lost his ice cream. He has a concussion and some bruises, but he's A OK !!
