Morning all - just a brief one been puzzling over the co 8
spin with a friend kaz
just for the record, my object in this icon exercise was to get people to google the various breeds of monkeys such as the proboscis, capuchin, howler, owl and spider monkeys, macaques -- so many wonderful creatures and I listed some in my bio -- but nobody did anything. Today there's a variety of apes to find -- next tiem there are other primates like lemurs, but I guess people don't care.
great west - i will move on to the fs next. I am doing it a different way today - decided to do it be random letters - a bit frustating but fun

hi jilli. just started looking at the chat. have you seen the latest edition of national geographics? there's an article on bioko island of the west coast of africa. shows several species of monkeys that I had never heard of.
they're chosen by any of us -- just email Babbler with your ideas. If you use Expert, go up to Resources and Icon Themes -- her bio is there. If you don't have Expert, Icon Themes are on Lickety's page. a
lso, Babbler is sometimes online and if you go to Who's Online and she's there, put her in your My Friends and you can go there any time.

Hi MayneGuy -- Sorry, haven't seen the latest Nat Geo, but TV has shown many breeds of monkeys, and Google does too. Ditto with Apes, which si todays's theme. As I understand it, monkys have tails and apes don't, among other differences.

I have been given a hard time each and every time! the techs are constantly looking for errors (paperwork) or don't want to use the needle I ask for (cause they are too expensive and only reserved for babies)... makes me feel awful.
but there are some who can get it first stab and you hardly feel a thing
I always warn them that i am needle phobic (which I am) and usually they go out of their way to be good - maybe you could try that

ah, the idea of having a wake is to celebrate the life... I have found I have laughed so hard at wakes, remembering the dead for all the wonderful things they where.

This college enrolled my daughter, gave us no paperwork, and we blindly let her go weekly to study... she struggled with homework, struggled badly... I had a very upset little girl on my hands last night cause she wasn't coping. I find out today (after asking time and again what support they offer to help her cope) that there is a help line she can call, a homework study group AND a website she can log into to refresh what she has learned in class!!! They never told us about the support and the poor child has been battling to do it all on her own! I was soooooo angry
oh mrp that sounds like a positive way to remember them we did that in the service they had a video right back to when she was born until present it was lovely to see her she was a very beautiful lady
I think they are good for those left behind too. You go through so much before (sometimes months) and immediately after...it is great to be surrounded by family & good friends who care

He's fabulous! But just google "Hugh Laurie" and Black Adder, and especially A Bit of Fry and Laurie (there's lots on youtube) and you'll see the bizarre foppish English commedian we knew and loved. No idea how he could have been cast as House... but no complaints here!
i think he's great - i didn't like the last 2 episodes that were made after the writers' strike though. it seemed they just threw something on paper to end the season.
Hmmm. We have differing opinions then. Ithought they used the strike tome to break fresh ground and introduce a thread of surreality that had gradually faded out.

He does the best American accent I've heard from a Brit.
It sure is amazing. I like to send people unfamiliar with his earlier carreer that bit from Blackadder where he starts gradually doing the chicken impression...... Have you hear dthe complaints that in one scene he "laughs British"? I mean get a grip!

I really like the show except for the fact that one person can get a lot of money answering question after question then one of the 'spoilers' in the last few minutes can swoop in and take it all, I wish they would change that aspect of the game
I like the show too, must check to see what time it is on
you could gamble and cheat by staying in the back and not answering any questions then swoop in at the end and win

guess that is the chance you take by being on a game show. I think it is on in the morning here on the east coast

Hi Candy. Just the recipe was a pain in the butt. Make base, put base in fridge for 30 min then oven bake for x amount of time. Take out of oven cool. Make caramel innards cool slightly bake for 15 take out cool, make choc topping top the caramel then put in fridge over night. Yes its yummy but too many steps. I made 2 other batches of biscuits and dinner waiting for the slice to process.
