just that really severe migrane attack that i had earlier in the week hadnt disapated and so i ended up at the hospital yesterday morning and after five attempts got the iv line in and drizzled drugs into me for two hours
but i sat there for 5 hours before they finally jabbed me lol

poor thing kiwi I have never had a migraine but I believe they can be shocking
good. What did they give you, muscle relaxants?
i dont get them too often and when i do the imigran tablets usually work and if they dont i go to the GP for a tramol injection but in this case none of that worked so next only choice is a couple of hours sucking on an iv line lol
im not actually sure whats in the mix but its mighty fine spritey lol
i got up this morning an in an hour had had a shower, done the dishes, two loads of laundry, vaccumed and cleaned out the fire lol
my daughter is allergic to tramadol it caused severe convulsions which resulted in dislocated shoulders
*giggles* Make sure you don't like it too much and push every migraine attack over the edge, Kiwi ;)
this is only the second time in a year ive ended up there
she has had 6 shoulder ops due to tramol
at least you are better now kiwi which is great

darn sandy, that is really ugly. I did quite well on tramadol (not for migraines, but pain), until I had to take an antidepressivum that cannot be combined with it. Now it is oxycodon.

I see many kids in my practice that are bi- or tri-lingual. They amaze me. Language acquisition in kids is my favorite part of development to observe in toddlers. I also see international adoptees come here and become fluent in English within 3-4 months.

think I've been around this grid forever trying to monkey it - it is, but isn't elusive
Hi all. I Babble often, but have never "chatted" before. Ladynatts, must comment on your numbness problem. I would have your doctor refer you to a neurologist for EMG testing. You may need surgery. I suffered with severe numbness and pain for years -too chicken to have the surgery- but finally bit the bullet 1-2 years ago and had both hands done, 4 months apart. My right hand is now 100% and the left is about 90% strength...no more numbness, though at all! I worked for a doctor and some had scared me about the surgery, but really it was much better than I expected. Other than you will only be able to use one hand for 3 days, then it's up to you what pain you can tolerate, you can do whatever you can manage.
