We have an old remodeled theater downtown that shows old movies. Costs $5 to get in. Took my two oldest kids to see Jaws. They'd never seen it on the big screen. The theatre still has some of the art deco from the 30's.

I was looking at the RDA website last night Haz and was interested to see that there are a couple of places fairly local to me.
Husband does their TB test and on the second day, he has to examine each cow to see if there's been any reaction. The son in the family can't contain his curiosity. 'Is she okay?' 'Is she okay?' - 160 cows in the herd..... husband finally said 'If I say nothing, she's fine. I'll tell you if there's something wrong.'

Caya has a history of going missing, because she forgets to phone when she goes to a friend. Let's say it happened about a 100 times (definitely not a high estimate), so the rules are strict for her. Home in time, and always call and let us know where you are.
so she told me, once when she realised she hadn't called again and knew I had been searching for her for hours, she didn't look forward to coming home and getting a piece of my mind. That is all.

also, this friend of Caya's had a tendence of calling us in the morning before school, sometimes even 3 or 4 times a morning. We want to read together, so after a while I asked her, politely, not to call us in the morning unless it really couldn't wait until school. That, said the mum, was bullying her child. The poor girl never dared to call us again! (she still called at least 8 times a week, but mum doesn't seem to know)
and I can guarantee you... they don't pucker up for those odds

lady, I totally agree. My kids are sweet and polite. Not scared, they talk freely with everybody, but in a polite way. I don't see why that would be bad.

mrP: the girl has yet to ask Caya how her hand is doing. Caya decided that if the girl was a true friend, she would have cared about her. So she keeps her distance now. The other girl tries to act like nothing happened, but keeps telling Caya how terrible her father has been to her.

when Caya's hand was stuck between the cardoor, the friend didn't realise and didn't react when Caya asked her to open the door. My husband called out to her to open the door, then she started to open the other door and he called out to her to open the back door. By that time he was with Caya and got her hand out.
He put Caya in the car, gave Mylene her stuff and said he would take Caya home to cool her hand. They were literally in front of their front door atm.
and now they are very angry with us that my husband dared to raise his voice to their daughter. That is what the whole fight is about.
plus that he did not come into their home to cool the hand, but chose to take Caya home and help her there. That meant, according to them, that he didn't care about Caya, just wanted to make the other girl feel bad.
Gosh i always call out 'fingers'' before closing doors. ANd if i had done that to someone elses kid i would have been crying myself and making it up to that person
ah, how terrible for caya... she doesn't need that about her own father.... that girl isn't very pleasant. I hope caya is ready to completely ignore her
nobody was angry with the girl, it was an accident. Things like that just happen. But they don't care about Caya's hand. They are just mad my love raised his voice. Out of anger, they said. Out of panic and urgency, the rest of the world will say.
Caya has a big heart. She even feels bad for the girl, because she is in the middle now between parents and friend. But she doesn't want Mylene close anymore, because she now knows the girl doesn't care.
it is such a catch 22... they think they are right, you know you are... it is like 'time management' was all on the wrong page for everyone

Jacula Sweet & Sour Sauce * 1 small can pineapple juice (or juice from a 15-1/4 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained) * 1/4 cup ketchup * 1/4 cup brown sugar * 1/4 cup vinegar * 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch * 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic * 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder * 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (or less) * 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger Preparation: Mix all together and cook over medium heat until thickened. May be prepared in microwave in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave about 4-1/2 minutes on high or until thick, stirring every minute.

@dc: i know Wii uses the Opera browser, it was not the functionality of the browser in question. Its to with there is no "send" or such button to submit some text to the chat. Via the Wii you click on a form input and then a keyboard pops up, I can enter text in but no way to submit
