You do realise that teachers over here are no longer allowed to write anything negative, in case it damages self-esteem. The worst pupils go home with blank reports.
We have the same uninformative teachers comments as well. Wouldn't wanna' hurt the little darlin's esteem.

i bought the box of 10 jigsaw puzzles at wallyworld - i'm working on the next to the last one now - i'm getting them framed when i'm done.
i have one blank tile - the e in the left column. can't seem to find words unique to that beginning tile

yes they are - i brushed "save a puzzle" on the back of each. then took enough tin foil to cover the back & pressed it down firmly. now they won't come apart & are all ready to be framed.
they are beautiful. One was a snow scene. i was disappointed in that one because if is very faint in color & difficult to see the print.

One of the best weddings I went to was a Sephardi orthodox wedding, where the groom's familiy was from Syria and greece. The married an woman from a modern conservative background, so the wedding was somewhat liberal, but the dancing was separate, and the women did incredible dancing, very close to belly dancing, with each other.

Of course they would argue that it's a sign of men's weakness. I have worked hard to be able to see this from the other perspective, since I have known many very complex, bright and strong orthodox women - but ultimately have just jad to say that it's their choice, but not one I could be comfortable with. One of the things which I find distressing is the message it gives to little girls, when their brothers are allowed to run around in shorts, whatever, while they have to cover up.
