well sometimes my silly laptop highlights everything and the next thing I do overwrites it all. when that happens.. I right click and the menu says "undo".

the thumbs rest on things that end up doing things i don't want to happen... it's very sensitive.
I keep saying I'll go to the adult education classes to learn how to do the things I know it's capable of doing (!!) but either the classes fill up the day they're announced, or there's not enough interest, and they return my check.
right click is quicker than finding the edit tab..
christine... write something in the chat window. then click and drag mouse over it to highlight it. then type something else. THEN.. right click with your mouse and select "undo".

Aha - there was no "undo" in edit, but I see it's there when I right-click. I guess if you want to delete more than a couple of word, you'd use that, or I highlight and hit backspace.

May I ask what you do when you list? I know it's to do with Lickety, but ??
well what I do is past lickety's list into a notepad. i make it very skinny, then i reduce babble window so my list is alongside.
and when i complete a section (say the ae's) I delete it from the notepad.
That way you see what's missing. Thanks - I've seen it referredto, and thought that must be it. I do too,.

it is great that the nurse comes every day; she's a ball of energy and very upbeat and gentle with him. Cute, too!
When T had his accident last year, it was only this year he was diagnoses with post-traumatic stress. He has some tablets for it.

rubyfoo, I have no idea if someone in your area does it, but there is a very successful treatment for trauma and ptss that does not involve much talking.

Call it shock. That can be a killer. I remember when we did a first aid course they said that the reason for the drip they put you on in hospital after an accidentis often just for the shock.
of course it existed! Rember the term shell-shocked? That was WW1!!

First of all, cutting down a tree!!! Then too, the other owner shared with everyone, Also his grape, some of which he dried on screens in the front garden, and shared them, too.
when we planted our garden, I had them put in 15 trees, some of them fruit, others decorative. We are pretty far north for figs, I think, but I put it in the most sheltered and sunny spot in the garden and it's beautiful
that is lovely, christine. Every person who comes by, now, gets a bag of tomatoes as I don't have the energy to cook them up and freeze them.
Here, in Los Angeles we have a mediterranean climate, and oranges grow everywhere, but this was the only figtree in the neighbourhood.

Hey all. I would have had plums, ruby, but the deer (or raccoons) ate them.

Do you get to grow tomatos in Ireland, with all that rain
ruby - my Mum used to just put the picked tomatoes into a carrier bag and straight into the freezer and then use them for sauces etc as needed.
I always wanted a small orchard, with chickens peckingf away beneath the trees. Of course, I don't know who'd look after the trees or the chooks.

I grew zucchini the first year, but it really gets out of hand. Every now and then, I see someone walking down our street with a mammoth zucchini under his arm!

I did that with last year's plums, FM, but they are still sitting in the freezer!
Other people do, Bichon. I don't have the time (or energy) for gardening.

Most of my neighbours in the lower apartments grow tomatoes, so I get fresh from the vines - and we have a cople of avocado trees - one I planted about 25 tears ago, but they give only small hard fruit.

In a hospital about...I think maybe an hour or so away from where I lived. I kept collapsing, so I was in to be fed, basically. Even now I keep lots of pictures from that time, to remind myself of the dangers! It's ugly.

I did not start babbling until this afterno4/4. When I op 4/5ed the website,I was not happy with grid size. It took me ae5/10 to finish the grid, but I finally did. So here is a story of clues. My monkeys have ch 6/24 to be obstinate again. When I went to sc 5/14 them out, they were teasing the po 6/21 on my neighbor's farm. They se5/10ed me coming though&tried to run away. When I grabbed my monkeys by the na 4/5s of their neck,they would not move an in4/6 and said no 4/5! We are not going to help! Then monkeys put up their no4/4s in the air & refused to look at me. They made fun of me & would ec4/6 everything that I said and then laughed and said ha4/6! I tried to spray my monkeys w/a ho4/5 but that didn't stop them.I even washed their mouths out with so4/5 but that did not help. I wanted to hang them by a no 5/10. But would not si 4/8 down to their level & let them get the best of me. I couldn't co 4/6 with them today so I ch 5/14 to let them go. Monkeys lo4/5d right out of my yard. They did not get any sc 6/21 for treats today. They would rather play ring around the rosies a pocket full of po 6/21.
