I made a warmed spinach salad with grilled mushroom / basalmic / mustard dressing and filets of beef with a mushroom compote and creamy potatos and a red wine sauce to die for

you grill some mushrooms on the BBQ and sautee them with garlic and onions and pepper.. then strain off and reduce.. near the end you put in ONE spoon of blackberry jam.

rotten, to put it bluntly, lol. Overexerted myself yesterday, didn't sleep a minute last night. And this morning was very hectic, had to go to the doctor with my girl
poor kid had a vaccination that went wrong... 3 weeks later still a very painful and solid globule in her arm
thank god, doc said it is only a bloodvessel that has been hit, will disappear in about 2-3 months. Will be painful for at least 2 though. :(

yeah, if anybody had to watch a movie about rehab it would be pretty boring!
Pain is good, I have very little pain, I got to the massage therapist once or twice a week and she hurts me a lot and then I have no pain after that. It's just that I am not allowed to run and I am started to get very upset over it...but thats the way it goes.

we assume that I will someday, it is just irritating, the first PT sort of messed up and now I am behind, even the person who had the same surgery in July is doing a little running now...he was in better shape than I being an olympian, but still..
aw :( Well, not to belittle your frustration at all, because it sucks big time, but I am happy you will be able to run eventually. Patience is rotten, but with hope... you will manage. *hug*

also recommend a cream made here in ozland...if there is an equivalent available, go for it. it's called pain away arthritis releief, has 4 main ingredients, arnica, rosemary oil, sandalwood oil and emu oil

so now I have a lump in my thyroid which has gotten bigger since the last time they looked at it (I get ultrasounds every couple of years)

I have an appointment with the ENT guy tomorrow, so will see what the next steps are

although, i do always tend to know pretty quickly when i'm getting sick, feeling something in my throat, so i know to take zinc to help fight it - maybe that feeling is in my tonsils and i would lose it! that would be bad.
oh i have plenty of sick days at my job and would use them!

I had a cousin who was a nuclear physicist and he said the introductory course at McGill was a drag and if I'd continued I would have liked it much better. But I was into biological sciences.
yes, the introductory physics courses are usually tough and not exactly fascinating - but you need the background to understand the more advanced stuff.
