took hubby to hosp today for checkup- he has copd and empysema... stopped at atrium for coffee- lost my wallet- didn t miss it for 15 minutes till we were leaving hosp. checked in with security- they gave me ticket to waive valet parking fee
hadto get hubby home for 4 o'clock treatment. so we came home- spent the next hour contacting credit card companies to cancel cards... made list of other things to take care of tomorrow.. no sooner had i can clled caredit cards- a car pulls up - young lady comes to door with my wallet in hand- everything in tact including a large amount of cash-
there are still good people in this world who do the right thing and one of them lives in cleveland !!

another side note- while we were having coffee- beforer tghe incident- 3 different people came up to us to talk to hubby- he still wears nave cap and has visible tats on his arms- they asked his amout his service - he is a navy vet and was a landing craft pilot at the invasion or normandy and took part in 4 major invasions- they thanked him for his service and made his day

My parents opened a bank account for a college fund for us before we were even born and put money away over the years... grandparents contributed to it too. My brother dropped out after the first 5 weeks of college and got a refund... that went back into it for me. I've always been very thankful to them for doing that.

It just seemed to me that the chat log has been more about tolerance than truthfulness since I've been playing, and the tone here seems to have changed a bit lately. Used to post fairly regularly, but do play daily and read posts when I'm playing, lurking and hoping for clues and posting clues when I'm lucky enough to be able. So will crawl back into my lurker's hideaway 'til the morrow! Apologies all around.
Well the discussion was mostly a bunch of complaints about people badmouthing Babblers in the chog. But of course that involved badmouthing the Babblers who supposedly did the badmouthing.
