I found a yule log on TV..just a fireplace with a log burning..
it was funny. it was a LGBT church and the choir was singing have yoruself a merry little christmas and the screenw was showing judy garland singing it lol

enjoyed it, did you cos? can be quite moving at times, especially a candle-lit service

cos, our church is a charismatic one. we have a full band, guitars, violins, cello, flutes, piano etc. and our hymn tunes can really get your toes tapping.
when i looked around i saw same sex couples holding hands or arms around each others shoulder.. it was a very pleasant sight to see in a church

here in the states a deaf person can have a dog in an apartment even if it's generally not allowed. the landlord will either have to allow a dog or install intercom system for the deaf.. they usually opt for the dog since its cheaper

as a child we lived much further north than we do now on a quiet dirt side road 15 minutes from a small town.the weather was harsher up there and more extreme than today and the december storms would often bury us in snow and keep us all housebound for the week of christmas.it was a fine time,everything was at hand and we would have the wood strove going,the house smelling like christmas cooking even before 9 am,music playing on the shortwave set and me in my footte jammies on the hardwood floor tearing apart my stocking my da doing a humongus brekkies while mum prepped christmas dinner:)
